Lizzy's Burger Bar & Grill

We came in with a large school group. We had previously made reservations. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We were quick to order. Food arrived fresh and hot. I got the blackened fish tacos and they were delicious. The restraunt well clean. We will be back.

I came to Lizzie’s with my two daughters, and we were absolutely famished, and our server, Z, was so awesome! She got our drinks out at lightening speed, and was very attentive, and talked to my girls so sweetly! The food, and milkshakes were amazing but the service was even better! Z, you are the coolest!! Can’t wish to come back to see you!

Service was great! I was looking for something light and the server suggested the OG sliders. I added chilli to the sliders, which came on the side. This hit the spot!

This is worth the wait! The food was delicious. While you wait you can visit the market across the street. Another option is ask if there is space at the bar. If you time it right you can ask for the veranda where you can watch the ships go by. There is usually a breeze. Lauren and Jessie we friendly, helpful and so was the manager. Great service, great food. We ordered the burgers but they do have other options too.

4.5 stars. Service is great! Manager was super friendly. Fried pickles are the best I’ve ever had!! They were out of shakes :( which is big part of their menu, and one reason we chose this restaurant. Smash burgers were fine. Big portions. Atmosphere is fine. The manager said they just redid everything. Not having seen it before, I’m not sure if it’s an improvement.

This was Excellent place to grab a quick bite to eat. Quite Yummie 😋 Greeted with a Friendly Smile Seated directly Friendly Kind Courteous Waitress.. Our Appetizer was Green Fried Tomatoes... we had Ranch Dressing for our dipping sauce Very Very Good ... Cooked to Perfection... I had Bowl of Crab Corn Chowder ! Very Tasty 😋 She had a Burgar with Onions Cheese Lettuce and Tomatoes and a side of Crispy French Fries... Very Good... To drink ,she had a Diet Coke And I had Water with Lemon Here's another place that I highly recommend you to go eat... Also , if I could give more than 5 Stars ... Definitely a 10 Star ⭐️ place ! Has a nice Bar to sit at as well

My wife and I stopped in Lizzy's while in Savannah and we thoroughly enjoyed.the food and the service. I had the sweet n spicy burger which was delicious and my wife had the super cheesey and bacon burger which was also delicious. The burgers were seasoned perfectly and cooked perfectly. The service was great as well. Definitely will be back when in Savannah and downtown

Lizzy’s is right across from the market and the paddle boat. Food was amazing, they cooked everything just the Way we asked. Double fried and wet wings then the loaded tater tots was yummy atmosphere was fun and relaxing, service was outstanding! Our server was awesome, she was fun and had a great sense of humor. We just came across Lizzy's and thought we'd try it and we were wowed

Came in on New years Eve and was seated promptly. Laid-back and enjoyable atmosphere. Seat cushioning could be upgraded but fine for a ~90 minute visit. For a burger bar, its got all the essentials covered. Variety of burgers, shakes, and other things should neither appeal to you. We ordered some chip & dip appetizer (guac, queso, salsa) which was good. I ordered the "Bar None Burger" and an Oreo milkshake, both were excellent and the burger was cooked to my liking. Would have liked a way to customize the seasoning on the sides but maybe I didn't notice it on the menu. Portion sizes were fair and reasonably priced. Staff was pleasant and attentive, thank you for a great experience.

Lizzy's is our most favourite bar in the River Walk area. The $5 Frozen Margaritas have held that price for more than 7 years; even through the pandemic!!! GET THE SALAD....what a meal!!

First time here - their burgers were absolutely delicious! It was like eating homemade patties off the grill. Prompt, friendly service & ice cold drinks rounded out a very enjoyable lunch!

We had a wonderful experience! Came in for a late lunch and got a burger and nachos. The menu was full of great options. The service was fast, and the food was delicious and filling. Our waitress was wonderful!

Totally enjoyed our meal. Food was delicious, and our server Kount went above and beyond to make sure our meal was perfect. She was very attentive, and had a way of making us feel like family! I would definitely return, and hope for the same server. Savannah at its best!

This was our second time at Lizzy's We had two waitresses. One name Dennis and other, was hmm..She had green has but cannot remember her names. Both ladies were super professional and so very sweet. The food was delicious!! We will be back BOB AND TRINA VANE

Harry was absolutely phenomenal! Great vibes food and drinks. Ask for Harry he is epitome of great energy and service. Harry the merry bartender.

We always enjoy coming here when visiting River Street. If you’re looking for a good drink, order the Green Lantern. Absolutely delicious! Burgers and fries are good!

Every dish is amazing. One of my favorite places to go in Savannah and not expensive. Ask for Harry as your server! Amazing guy with a fun and layed back personality. Give him a raise. 10/10!

Their chicken tacos are really tasty and the chicken is really good!!! The waiter was super nice and came to check on us multiple times and asking if we were okay and asking if we needed a refill. They are kid friendly. If we come here again, I would definitely visit again. I recommend this place as a great family and group place.

Had the Cowboy Burger with onion rings, just fantastic. Ate at the bar with Harry doing the bartending. Harry makes the bar run. Great personality. Loved the food and the folks there. Can't recommend enough.

Amazing! Perfect for drinks and a great meal, our server was Harry and he was awesome! Such good service and so accommodating! Definitely a must go on River Street!

We stopped at Lizzy’s for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. We started with the cheesy bacon fries which were awesome. They have a great selection of burgers anmd you need to try the fried okra. Our server Liz was very attentive and has great pointers of things to do around town.

We sat outside on the 2nd floor for a great view until we got cold and moved inside. Lots of tv inside. Burger was pretty good. Service was friendly but inconsistent in speed. Also the men’s bathroom was filthy and it could be cleaner—wood between booths needed dusting, more sweeping of the floor after people finish eating

Great location on Riverwalk savannah. I enjoyed the chicken nachos. The chicken was very succulent and fresh. The shrimp quesadilla was delicious. It was a little to greasy with the bacon in it. Next time I'll try the shrimp tacos. The clam chowder was amazing. The margaritas could have more tequila for the price. The pretzel bread bites are tasty. I enjoyed the street river view from the balcony. The service was great and the ambiance matched the fun downtown vibe.

First time here, and I enjoyed that they had a turkey burger on the menu. Not too many burgers joints have one, so it was nice to be able to enjoy a burger. My only two critiques would be: 1. Please have the outside host learn the menu. As a first-time customer, I didn't know if they had turkey burgers, so when the question was asked. None of the two hosts answered us. I can only assume they didn't know the menu to give a proper answer. We eventually found that they did, and we went inside. 2. For the cost of dip and the actual amount of dip you get, it is not worth it.

1st time here. Great location. They had plenty seats open for our very large group. Good choices on the menu. Ingot the pineapple rum drink which came in a Capri sun type bag and it was goooooood!!!!! Strong and one was enough for me. My burger and fries were good. The food didn't take long to come out even with our very large party. I'd come back again especially for that drink.

We went twice and were happy with the food and the service both times. I wasn't as much of a fan of the Mahi Mahi sandwich, but I am glad I tried something new. The smash burger was phenomenal and I wish I could have thanked the person(s) who cooked it personally because it was a great burger. We went on a weekend and were able to find parking.

Stopped for lunch on a Monday. They were obviously short staffed. This is a reminder. Be patient with short staffed places. The hostess/server was great. The food is your classic bar fare. The atmosphere is good. The music was great. I won't eat there again on this trip, but I'll definitely be back assuming we pass through again.

Our server, Meredith, was amazing. She was very attentive and helpful. The food, however, was very bland. I had the fish tacos and asked for extra crispy sweet potato fries, and they were anything but flavorful and they were not crispy! My hubby had the breakfast burger, and the egg wasn't runny at all and the beef needed seasoned! The fried pickles were soaked in oil and not crispy either. 😑

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. The warmly accepted us with three dogs on the 2nd deck balcony. Staff was friendly and the timleyness of the food and drink delivery was acceptable. We had two smash burgers with onion rings and fried okra, pork tacos with fries and chower / salad combo. One adulation drink the Green Lantern and three shakes for desert, the Oreo, Strawberry and Salted Carmel! All worthy of a sample!

Harry is awesome!! Very attentive and made our visit fun. Personally I wasn’t a huge fan of my burger….but the chili dog was great.

It's St. Patty's weekend and they were out of almost everything. They even served us crab dip with very little crab in it. My friend had to send her buffalo dip back because the cheese wasn't melted. The only thing that was descent was the blackened shrimp tacos. I probably won't eat here again and we come to Savannah for St. Patty's every year. 🙄🙄

Neat looking place but unfortunately, I did not enjoy my experience at Lizzy's. The flavor of the food & drink were not to my liking, service was slow and inconsistent. The server seemed spaced out. He forgot about my frozen peach pineapple Margarita and I guess it was made in a hurry once I reminded him, because the taste was very off. I had ice water and beef taco salad, my husband had the burger with tots. It's okay if you just need something to put on your stomach but I can't really recommend as a stop in Savannah. I will say the view was great, especially for pictures.

No thanks. Came for the beyond burgers. Straight out of the frozen package. Still appreciative for the vegan option but their fry oil needs changing and their chowder was vomit inducing. Burned beyond belief and greasy.

Very underwhelming experience. The food had very little flavor and was disappointing overall. The nachos were basic and overpriced. The $21 ‘Bar None Burger’ did not live up to expectations and honestly tasted worse than a cheap fast-food burger. The shakes were thin, small, and not worth the price. Would not return.

Y'all know me. I do my best not to give negative reviews but when I do, they asked for it. Whatever you do, don't walk in this place with 45 minutes to closing time on a Friday night. They advertised closing at 9 and we walked in at 8:15. I could feel the tension and dislike from all the staff. The grill wasn't even on and I could tell the cooks were waiting for it to heat up. I was a short order cook before so I know! After waiting 20 minutes, still no order taken and I finally began hearing the sound of a slight sizzle from a burger. We left. Won't be back.
