Any time I come into town I try to stop here! Everything on the menu is fantastic. I brought 3 coworkers in for their first time tonight and everyone was impressed with their meals (shrimp and grits, halibut, and southern schnitzel entrees). Always have great cocktails too, I love the house old fashioned! Ambiance and service is wonderful as well. Thanks for always leaving me with great experience at Repeal33!

Repeal 33 provided exceptional service for my girlfriend and I’s Valentine’s Day dinner. I got the Southern Schnitzel, which was perfectly cooked and served with delicious spätzle. There are a wide variety of cocktails to choose from to fit any taste. My girlfriend loved the Pink Pony Club and said it was one of the best cocktails she’s had. Would recommend this place for anyone looking for a date night spot with friendly staff and a unique atmosphere.

Wow! This one is worth the visit. Everything we had was excellent. Chicken wings were very tender and juicy .New York strip had a lovely flavor. Potatoes and Brussels were excellent. Probably the best Brussels I've had. They did them quite nicely. Not too much sweet, just enough crisp. Yum.

Beautiful dining room, ambiance was excellent. Service really was top notch. The dining room was not very busy but did seem loud. We had the oysters which were very fresh, preferred the Carolina over the Canadian as they were more flavorful and bigger. Wings were very tender and juicy. Heirloom salad was really over the top good and light. Grilled octopus was very tender and the sauce was delicious. Not a single issue with the service and food. Don’t forget the hot sourdough bread!

My husband and I came here for a date night. We loved the ambiance. The food was so delicious! . We had the roasted bone marrow, southern schnitzel, and shrimp and grits. They have great drinks too. Great service as well!

Charlie! Came in for happy hour and we were amazed by the professionalism and competence of the amazing bartender Charlie. We ordered whiskey sours, old fashioned drinks, and my wife got the best Vespar Martini she’s ever had. Do yourself a favor and stop in for great tasting and even better priced drinks.

Everything amazing! We were looking for a place with lobster rolls in Savannah and finally we found it!!! The Salmon with cauliflower risotto, out of this world. Cocktails on point. Service amazing:) give it a chance you’ll not regret it!

Repeal 33 feels like the kind of place you stumble into on a rainy night and decide to stay awhile. Warm, dim, a little secretive—exactly the kind of speakeasy vibe Savannah does best. Even with the rush, the service stayed sharp and present without hovering. The Berkshire pork chop was the star—perfectly cooked, glossy with a rich glaze, sitting on a cloud of potato purée. The crispy onions and the Brussels with that punch of vinegar made the whole dish come alive. Dessert was those warm brioche doughnuts with gelato, and honestly, they were ridiculous—in the best way. Comforting, messy, and exactly how dessert should be. If you want a spot that delivers soul, good food, and no pretense, Repeal 33 is it. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Repeal provided a spectacular dining experience. The ambiance and atmosphere were a perfect twist of old world yet modern. All of the staff were kind, attentive, and courteous. Our server Antoinette was especially terrific. She was knowledgeable about the food options, flavor profiles, and portions which helped us make some very tough choices on a menu where everything sounded wonderful. We had a few drinks that were well made and delivered for high end cocktails. The Remington was a sweet cherry whiskey drink, drawing inspiration from a martini. Smoke on the Harbor was a smoked whiskey cocktail that balanced many subtle layers of flavor. The presentation was worth the price alone. Best for last, the food. We have eaten at many high end restaurants throughout our travels and this competes with the best of them. We started with the Alsatian Flatbread which was a large portion for two people. It hit a perfect balance of sweet and savory. For our entrees we had the Butter Poached Halibut and the Smash Burger, plus a side of cheddar grits. The Halibut was light and flaky, melted in your mouth. The sauce was incredible. We were hesitant to order a burger at a nicer restaurant but once we bit into it we were happy with all of our life choices. The truffle cheese and shallot jam are the perfect balance of flavors to complement perfectly crispy smash patties. This burger will set the standard that other burgers are measured against for a while. Overall this was a stellar experience and the only knock against the place is that it's a thousand miles away from our home and we want to dine here weekly. If you've made it this far, you probably already know you should make this your dining destination. We'll absolutely return the next time we are in Savannah. Bravo, Repeal.

Ventured in for a Sunday brunch and arrived when it first opened. Hardly anyone was there at first, so it was nice and quiet. Started out with the Street Corn appetizer which was mouthwatering delicious. I had the Chicken and Waffles and my wife had the steak and eggs. Both of these dishes were seasoned, cooked well and were outstanding. We split a small portion of their Challah French Toast which was very savory. Service was good. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely would recommend this place for a date night, and special occasion.

We had a great experience at this place. Everything was well done — delicious food, excellent cocktails, and truly wonderful service, which makes all the difference. The atmosphere was pleasant, and we really enjoyed our time here. Definitely worth a visit!

My girlfriend and I ate here during our trip to Savannah last weekend. Food and service was phenomenal! I loved the Oysters and the Steak was cooked perfectly. We also had some bread and my gf got a burger wish was also pretty good. I think what really closed the deal on this place is the kind of service we got from Phillip, our waiter. Very kind and very attentive. I also appreciated the ambience of the place. The bar area was very beautiful and the place was quiet and intimate for a good date night. I will definitely be back whenever we visit Savannah again!

Such a Savannah gem. We went here for Easter brunch and had a great meal and experience. My chili relleno was bursting with flavor and not served how you would expect it to be. A taco shell filled with a savory mix and topped with an egg gave it some flare and tasted great. The atmosphere was lively and the service was friendly and on top of it.

Went for saturday brunch, served by melissa (she is the best). We got the eggs benedict, huevos rancheros, and the bacon fries. Hands down one of the best brunch spots in this city

My sister and I dined at Repel 33 last night, and from start to finish, it was nothing short of amazing. Our expectations were high, and they were absolutely met. Let’s start with the service—top tier. Our server Rhett was phenomenal—attentive, intuitive, and full of great energy. He really listened to us and tailored the experience to match our vibe. The general manager, Mat, made a point to check in and ensure our evening was going smoothly. And shoutout to Jack, who delivered and cleared our plates with such ease and friendliness. There was another gentleman assisting as well—didn’t catch his name, but he was also wonderful. Now the food… whew. We went with the Chef’s Tasting Menu and added on an appetizer of bone marrow, which Rhett made sure was seamlessly incorporated into the tasting. We had already started with cocktails (which were amazing), so we opted for just one drink pairing package to share—and that was plenty. Here’s a breakdown of our tasting menu: Course 1: A delicate potato croquette on crème fraîche, topped with caviar and an edible flower—simple, elegant, and delicious. Course 2: Charred octopus on an eggplant purée with chili oil, radish, arugula, pine nuts, and golden raisins. Unexpected and absolutely bursting with flavor. Course 3: Lobster tortellini in a red curry butter sauce with pomegranate seeds, fried shallots, and roasted carrot. This was one of my top favorites—creamy, bold, and melt-in-your-mouth good. Course 4: Perfectly cooked halibut over a corn cream sauce with fresh peas, corn kernels, and clams—so bright and fresh. Course 5: Tender steak with creamed spinach, a red wine horseradish sauce, and the fluffiest duchess potatoes. Comforting, rich, and just perfect. Dessert: My sister had the banana pudding (we joked someone’s grandma must be in the back making it—it’s that good), and I had the key lime pie panna cotta, which was a light, tangy finish. Every bite was thoughtful and flavorful. Yes, the tasting menu is a splurge—but it’s 100% worth it. Thank you to the incredible team at Repel 33 and major compliments to the chef. We’ll be back!

NEW REVIEW: Just wanted to let you know that I popped back here a couple more times this week, and it was such a blast each time! The food is absolutely amazing, everything on the menu is just fantastic! — This place is seriously a five-star gem with food that’s out of this world. I can’t even put into words how delicious it is!

The aesthetic is such a vibe. Was greeted as soon as we walked in. Our server Dave is such a sweetheart. He gave us his recommendations on drinks and food. The food did take a few to come out but it was part of 8. The food was a nice portion size. I had the chicken and waffles. I could tell it was freshly made and the waffles were soft on the inside, crispy on the outside! 10/10 recommend

Incredible dining option when in Savannah. I loved the ambiance almost of like a speakeasy place. Our server was incredible too and had all the best recommendations. We ended up getting grilled octopus, charred wings and crispy brussel sprouts as an appetizer and seared scallops for entree. Rumor has it, they have incredible brunch as well!

I think I just ate the best meal of my life! Seriously. I had the Southern Schnitzel. Ah-Mazing!!! My husband had the Ribeye and he too said that it was very good. You just can’t go wrong with the food here! The atmosphere is very chill and dim lit. The staff are all very friendly. Our server was Sarah- she was super awesome and on point! Treated us like friends and not strangers. Very attentive. Can’t wait to go back.

I had an unforgettable dining experience at Repeal 33, and Melissa, my server, was an absolute dream. Her extensive knowledge of the menu and her thoughtful recommendations truly enhanced the evening. The Chat Grilled Wings were perfectly seasoned, and the Whipped Ricotta Toast was light and flavorful. The Shrimp and Grits was a hearty, comforting dish that left me fully satisfied. To top it off, Melissa suggested the banana pudding for dessert, and it was the perfect ending to a great meal. I also tried the Touch of Crey Mocktail, which was a delightful and refreshing surprise. I highly recommend stopping by Repeal 33 for not only the fantastic food but also for the top-notch service. I'll definitely be back!

Great spot. Got the chef’s tasting menu and wine pairing at the bar. This place is always filled with people so definitely try and reserve in advance. Dining solo has its pros and cons, but special thanks to Max and Charlie at the bar for making it a great time. Would highly recommend the octopus above everything and opt for the ice box bananas foster.

This place will make up for any bad culinary experiences you may have in Savannah. The owner and staff were really great hostesses and the menu speaks for itself. We left belly full and happy. Ask the owner about his music;)

Went for dinner as a couple and we were truly impressed by the food and service. The bone marrow app is a MUST try! There’s nothing quite like it. The scallops with pumpkin risotto were also fantastic. The dish is expensive and quite small, but it is delicious. I’m a huge scallops fan and was shocked to find that the risotto was actually the prized ingredient here. Brussel sprouts were good but not as amazing as other reviews made them sound. At the time we visited, they had a happy hour sign from 4-7pm everyday with $1 oysters, so we returned the next day (Sunday) for oysters and wine - also highly recommended!

We chose this spot while on vacation and the food was amazing. I probably say that a lot but let me qualify it this time by saying that I had Creamed Spinach with my steak and I wish that there had been more. Every image that I have seen of Creamed Spinach, up until now, always looked as if Popeye The Sailor had already pre-chewed it and spit it back out. I would recommend that other restaurants send their chefs to Repeal 33 and find out their recipe. I had the New York Strip, my wife had the Carolina Gold Oysters. As for drinks, my wife had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc which actually tasted fruity and the "Maybe We Should Kiss" cocktail. I got the Bon Appétit cocktail; Bone marrow infused Four Roses... Say Less! Our server was grand! He answered all of our questions and even though he seemed to be the only one on shift, he was handling 3-4 tables without leaving anyone out. Overall, we had a great experience and I've already started recommending this spot to friends. The parking situation is a little sketchy but that cannot be blamed on the restaurant.

Repeal 33 was a wonderful place to have dinner in the historic downtown part of Savannah. The ambience is laid-back, rustic and elegant. The salmon with pumpkin risotto was incredible! Our server, Phil, had excellent recommendations for us and provided some of the best service we’ve ever had. We are definitely coming back the next time we’re in Savannah. Do make a reservation though because this place is popular and the food is top-notch.

Fabulous! We were able to contact the restaurant make a reservation for 10. It is a beautiful restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. Our waiter Phil explained the menu and made excellent suggestions. I had the salmon with pumpkin risotto - so good! Everyone loved their meal, not an easy task for 10 people. They have a great variety of cocktails. It was not a loud restaurant and we could actually hear each other. Phil was efficient and attentive. What a great experience!

We held our son’s rehearsal dinner for 39 people here. Working with Jessica to plan the menu and event eased all my worries and concerns. Jessica answered my (endless) questions patiently. She presented wonderful food options and pricing. The room was set-up up for mingling during the cocktail hour. The serving crew were outstanding…professional, friendly, attentive. The food was delicious. We were very happy at the end of the evening.

Just had the best eggs benny of my LIFE! My hubs is a connoisseur of eggs Benedict’s and he agreed, hands down the best one. I don’t think I’d ever had one before this where the English muffin wasn’t soggy - they actually toasted it so it had a nice little crunch. The hollandaise was clearly homemade, had a nice amount of lemon and I think tajin sprinkled on top. The ham itself was thin cut and pan fried, truly something to behold. Highly recommend.

Everyone, and everything was on point for our 1st trip to Repeal 33. We made reservations 2 weeks early. We even ended up having to slightly modify our reservations a few hours prior, and it was easy to do so. Kassidy was our server and she was on it! She even remembered the note in our reservation about our anniversary (which was so sweet, and a nice touch). We barely waited for anything, from seats to service. Food was hot, delicious, and fresh. The flavor combos were unique, and filling. I look forward to coming back.

The service was outstanding, and everything we ordered (party of 5) - from cocktails to dessert - was absolutely next level. Unique flavors, combinations and techniques. Bone-in pork chop is a must-try!!! This restaurant truly knows what a superb dining experience should be. I would travel to Savannah just to dine here. Bravo!

G

We had an amazing experience from start to finish. The raw oysters were ice-cold and briny perfection, the chargrilled Rockefeller oysters were rich and creamy, and the whipped ricotta toast was a standout starter. Rakeem took excellent care of us and made the night even better with great service and attention to detail. If I had one small suggestion — get some proper steak knives. This place is way too nice to be cutting into that beautiful steak with a butter-bread knife. Sometimes it’s the little things that elevate a great meal to perfection. Fantastic job, y’all!

We stopped here on the way from Florida to Tennessee and had the wings. Good Lord!!! They’re incredible!! Tender, fall off the bone, nice char and with an amazing sauce. We loved them so much we stopped here again on our way back to Florida just for the wings. Oh .. and the street corn is awesome too. Our son also got the mussels on both trips. Stop in and see if I’m right about all this.

We had the absolute best experience here last night! We did the tasting menu, and every single bite was packed with flavor — truly exceptional from start to finish. The portions and quality of the food were both outstanding, especially for the price. The drinks were just as impressive. Our server, Sarah, was a total gem — attentive, kind, and on top of everything without ever being intrusive. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

We sat at the bar on Valentine’s Day because we couldn’t make a reservation anywhere in the city, but the food was absolutely amazing! The Brussels sprouts were crisp but full of flavor, and the pork chops which I ordered were marinated perfectly. The ambiance was also very swanky so we were very pleasantly surprised. I would definitely try this place again when we’re back in town!

My boyfriend and I came here last year for our anniversary trip. Though we both said we wouldn't go to the same restaurant twice so we could experience more, we had to come back and try more of the menu! The food is incredible, the staff is incredible, the vibes are incredible. The bartenders poured us complimentary house-made limoncello and were more than happy to explain every single thing I had a question about on the menu. If only I lived here, I'd be visiting once a week lol

Fantastic spot for a nice date night. The Brussels and Japanese eggplant were excellent. The NY strip was a bit chewy, so wouldn’t recommend that. But everything else was great. We loved having Sarah as our server, she was very attentive and had wonderful suggestions. They also had a great whiskey selection, including Eagle Rare, which my partner was excited to see. Would recommend and will be back the next time we are in Savannah!

This restaurant is so exciting and fun to be at. The atmosphere was so great and just a brilliant place to spend some time. I don’t drink, but I wanted to just sit at the bar and admire the whole atmosphere. We started with Sourdough Bread and their butter was a piece of magic, not sure where they get it, but that was seriously great butter. The Brussels sprouts were average great starter and a favorite for us where ever we go. We had steak with creamed spinach and a horseradish sauce. The steak was decent and the creamed spinach was fantastic. The Horseradish sauce I could not really taste the horseradish so was not a feature for me on the plate. The Service was great, our waiter was attentive and wanted to make sure that we had a great evening. As it was our anniversary they provided us a dessert that was great. I loved this place and would highly recommend it as a great place to have a meal. Would add it to your list of places to eat when you are in Savannah.

Dined with a group of coworkers, the server was delightful, the building and decor seemed calm, rustic and appropriate. between the 3 steaks ordered one strip was overcooked, one strip was undercooked and the filet was spot on which was weird since we all ordered them medium rare. the fish dishes seemed fine. the minibottle of ketchup served with burgers was cool. the tartare app was mediocre. the bone marrow was delicious. only regrets were sharing that with everyone else and I probably should've just ordered 3 of them instead of the steak. don't know anyone who prefers duchess potatoes over regular mashed, baked or roasted. it's just dry, stale, crusty mashed potatoes.

Traveled to Savannah for my son's birthday and chose Repeal 33 for his birthday dinner. Our server was Kassidy and she was not as attentive as we would have liked. We had to ask other servers/runners questions because she wasn't around. Also, I stated in the reservation we were celebrating a birthday and no one at the restaurant acknowledged it. On to the food......we ordered the lobster tortellini ($26), grilled octopus ($19) and the sourdough bread ($8). Unsure why bread had to be ordered and wasn't provided. However, our starters were absolutely delicious. Very flavorful and seasoned well. Next, we ordered the NY Strip ($39) and the halibut ($39). Again both were delicious. The corn sauce with my halibut was cold, but still very tasty. The first drink I ordered, should we kiss, was disappointing. My son ordered the smoke on the harbor and loved it. He contemplated getting a 2nd one but chose a drink with sazerac on the dessert menu. He enjoyed both drinks. I elected for a lemon drop and had 2. Although the 2nd one didn't have a full sugared rim or lemon garnish. We ordered the Nutella torte and banana pudding to go but did not enjoy either. Disappointing finish to an otherwise enjoyable meal. Our bill for 2 people was $249. We would go back for the starters and entrées but forgo dessert. May have been cheaper to choose the tasting menu. (If they allow for a substitution for the steak since I don't eat red meat)

We stopped by for drinks since it was conveniently located right across from our hotel, and we’re so glad we did! The service was great, friendly and attentive from the moment we sat down at the bar. The drinks were delicious and well-made. We didn’t order food this time, but the dishes coming out to the guests next to us looked amazing and definitely caught our attention. We’ll have to come back to try the food next time! Great atmosphere, great service, and excellent drinks!

We had a beautiful get together after a small wedding service. Repeal 33 were great at commutating, during the initial quote and service request. On the day of the event, our hostess was fantastic and was there for ever need. Courteous and professional. It capped off a great weekend. A couple of us ordered the steak which was really nice, but it was sliced, not my or other guests favorite way to get a steak, was also a little on the cool side, hot plates would be a plus. Salmon was fantastic as were the mussels in the hot sauce. Great accommodating the few small children we had. We had the snug to ourselves, a little tight with 14 people but cozy! Thanks to all the staff! Food price was reasonably with the service charge imbedded.

Food was overall great. Service was average but good. My experience was great until I was video calling my grandma while my husband in the bathroom so she can see her only grandchild. For background context my 9 month old was quiet and many other guest eating stopped to tell us how cute and well behaved he was. My grandma doesn't speak a lot of English so I was speaking with her in Spanish. Shortly after starting to speak Spanish the hostess came over and said to lower the volume on the call. The restaurant was already super loud between a packed house and the music blasting and so I had no choice to hang up because I couldn't hear her. After hanging up my white husband (I don't think race matters but clearly IT T UNFORTUNATELY DID IN THIS INSTANCE) said it was probably a neighboring table. We are pretty certain if it wasnt a worker we know who it was as a guest at the restaurant. Needless to say, the hostess I feel like was out of line because we weren't bothering or disturbing us unless speaking another language was ....even if it was a complaint speaking another language as a bilingual fluent in both it's freaking Christmas - come on! Ended up calling my grandma back once we left the restaurant. Like I said food is great but this was my 3rd time in Savannah and there's a handful of amazing restaurants I've been to that I'd recommend before this one especially after this.

Used to be one of my favorite places in Savannah, but after two below average visits it has dropped off my list. Even when the food was consistently top notch at Repeal 33, I have struggled with their drinks. My husband loves the sangria which is always great, however their other cocktails always miss the mark for us both. I am not sure if the person making the menu has a very different palette from ours, or if the bartender is incorrectly mixing drinks/not trying them before serving. They are always too bitter, too sweet, taste off or something is wrong with them otherwise. Lesson learned, stick to the wine. The food has been hit or miss recently. On our last visit, I had the NY strip which was cooked perfectly, and my husband had the smash burger. His burger had zero char on it, both patties were an unfortunate gray color. He’s a good sport, and we laughed about it. Another note I found disappointing but I am aware does not apply to many customers, thus many people will discount this part of the review, however to others it will be make or break: we alerted our waitress to a dietary issue, I am gluten free due to an intolerance. She noted it on the ticket, and thus my salad and meal came without any gluten containing parts. This was great for my ease of eating, however I was confused when my entree came with only one of the two listed sides. I reasoned that the creamed spinach contained gluten and thus was missing due to that, but I wish my server had been able to communicate that to me. I understand not all restaraunts can provide gluten free options or substitutions, but if given the option, I would have liked perhaps another side instead, or had the original side brought on a separate plate for my husband to eat, given that I still paid for it.
