Best pho I’ve ever had. No msg, voten ingredients. All the options. Great menu. Great ambience and service. Wow.
The beef pho noodles with extra vegetables was delicious and filling. Very pleasing ambiance and interesting decor. Attentive staff and quick service.
One of my favorite restaurants in Sebastopol! Disregard the negative review by Bryan Fikes, he came into this wonderful restaurant screaming at the waiter, who has been nothing but nice every time we have eaten here.
I love this place and I am so grateful they’re in Sebastopol. The food here is consistently delicious and the ingredients are always high quality. The veggie pho is my absolute favorite as well as the tofu vermicelli bowl. The Vietnamese coffee is the best if you need some legit caffeine as well. The owners and staff are always kind. My husband and I come here at least once a week. I’m glad they’re still making food for pick up during these crazy times.
Absolutely fantastic service, delicious food, lots of outdoor seating. I really recommend a hot bowl of pho from Viet House on a chilly winter night, it will warm you up from the inside out. We were kindly offered cups of hot water upon arrival as it was a chilly evening, and our server gave excellent recommendations for food on the menu. We didn’t have to wait long at all, and wow the flavors were amazing.
I have been coming to this place for several months now and the food is absolutely delicious. Everything I have had off of the menu has been amazing. Definitely one of my favorite places to visit in Sebastopol.
This place rocks, the spicy beef pho was excellent, and I had some spring rolls too! Going back tonight for more! Highly recommend. Great selection of wine as well. Other dishes I saw coming out looked tasty as well. But for a rainy cold day, I love me some pho!
Visiting from SoCal, and after several days of wine-tasting and heavier foods (plenty of fru-fru foods as well), my wife and I just wanted something lighter, more wholesome and fresh. We were absolutely and completely satisfied & fulfilled here: We shared an appetizer of fresh spring rolls (chicken & veggie), and we both had the Veggie Dumpling Soup as our main dish. Loved the roasted garlic slices on top! Plenty of mint leaves, fresh bean sprouts and sliced jalapenos on the side. Service was quick, attentive and friendly. Background music was tasteful, relaxing and unassuming. 6:30pm on a Saturday eve, moderately busy. $44 total before tax and tip. Not bad at all !
Fast service! Best egg rolls I think I've ever had. Pho is yummy. The host / waitress was very nice. Nice classy yet simple setting. Great for a date or just lunch hang out.
My family chose to bring me here today for Lunch, and it's now 7pm, and I am still not hungry. We started off with fresh spring rolls with advacado, and some other with little dumplings. My wife, and Daughter both had some Pho soups, and I had a Bar B que pork with rice, and egg rolls. The place is really nice, and the food was great, and out waitress was so kind, and friendly always checking if everything was OK or if we needed anything else. I can't wait to go back and try something else for Dinner soon. Go check it out, and you'll agree. What a nice little place with food you will enjoy.
My favorite restaurant in all of Sebastopol! Lilly and her crew are so friendly and kind, the food comes out hot & fresh everytime. Get the spring rolls (bbq pork & spring), crispy egg rolls, kimchi lettuce wrap and edamame to start. Try their kimchi as an additional side, it's so good! Then try their beef pho, it's so amazing and the meats are always top quality. My husband loves their vermicelli bowl with bbq pork, bbq chicken and the beef onion wrap. Everything we've ever had there is delicious, I highly suggest this restaurant for an amazing lunch or dinner! You won't be disappointed! Try their Thai iced tea or mango juice, it's a perfect addition to the meal!
Best Asian restaurant and take out in Sonoma County. Enjoyed deep fried egg rolls and crispy shrimp for appetizers and then delicious filet mignon beef pho noodle soup. There is indoor and outdoor dining available as well as a very easy online ordering website for takeout
Really good apps and vegetarian soup. I want to go back and try the soup with dumplings in it. They also brought free edamame cause there was a long wait, but the wait wasn't even that bad or out of the norm!
Truthfully I was initially taken aback by the prices, and I’m from San Francisco. But it makes sense after dining here. Very clean & pretty interior; really tasty food (spring roll and house special pho) with extremely high quality meat; and excellent service. This isn’t a hole in the wall pho joint. It’s a date nite kind of place. I would come back!
Visiting friends who recommended Viet House. Our second day here and our second day at Viet House. Outstanding. Had three appetizers on the first round and Veggie Dumpling Soup the second night. Best we've tasted anywhere.
The best pho I’ve ever had. Always a go to place in Sebastopol. If you haven’t tried it already i would strongly recommend.
Unreasonably delicious beef pho (using filet mignon and meatballs that were almost orgasmic!) for a very reasonable price. A small bowl is plenty for dinner or lunch. Get the large and take half home for later. Clean, modern layout and design, friendly staff, pretty quiet even when fairly full. Initial service could be a little faster, but this is a new, small restaurant, not a well-oiled Appleby's. The pho came out very quickly after ordering, quicker than I've gotten it other places. Very relaxed. So yummy.
Great food, lovely staff. The spicy kimchi bbq pork lettuce wraps and fried gyoza are some of my favorites, and all the soup options are top tier..
AMAZING RESTAURANT! I love pho, I love Vietnamese and this lives up to my high standards. The vibe is good, comfortable open a quiet floor plan. Service better then some of the best Sebastopol restaurants.
super dependable, the owners are awesome, love getting takeout pho for work lunches as often as we can! the dumplings are SO good.
Lua Viet is excellent. Very prompt and friendly service. Excellent food. Seriously the best Gyoza I have ever had. Love the new decor, the place really feels warm and welcoming now.
Delicious Pho and other Vietnamese dishes, very fresh and flavorful ingredients and friendly staff… we love the Pho Ga with BBQ Chicken and beef rolls with onion inside… yum!
This place is a gem! The beef pho was absolutely delicious, with the best-tasting broth—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Every spoonful was comforting and satisfying. We also tried the fried gyoza dumplings, which were crispy on the outside and packed with savory goodness inside, as well as the edamame, which was fresh and lightly salted, making for a great appetizer. The Thai iced tea was the perfect sweet and creamy treat to complement the meal. On top of the amazing food, the restaurant itself was super clean, and the employees were diligent and kind, making the dining experience even better. Plenty of parking, so no hassle there. Highly recommend this spot for a fantastic meal and great service!
I haven't had the pleasure of eating here yet but I'm really looking forward to it. I spent a couple hours in this lovely restaurant the other day hanging an art show. The fragrances wafting from the kitchen were so varied and appetizing! The owner is wonderful and I really appreciate that the opportunity to show art here. I support local businesses that feature local art.
The staff are super friendly, the food is DELICIOUS, the atmosphere is cool and cozy with easy listening for music. The pricing is absolutely fair and acceptable (yes, the price of things rises over time - what a concept). Don't listen to the haters! Coming back for more soon. (: Also, get the coffee - it's seriously so good! 🥹
Absolutely delicious! Authentic quality Vietnamese food with fresh ingredients and generous portions at a fair price. Deep flavor and heart in every dish, within a beautiful setting. Ly the owner has passion and compassion for every detail and it really shows! Definitely going back soon~
The service is fast and courteous. The menu offers a wide range of traditional choices. From Pho to rice and noodles plates, it's always fresh and tasty. I always get the friedgyoza with a citrus mayo. It's a great way to kick off the experience. My other favorite is the shaking beef with extra filet mignon. It's a simple dish of stir fried vegetable with tender chunks of filet mignon in a light sauce. I add some rice and chili sauce for a great meal. It's a little pricey but after all it is filet mignon not wrapped in bacon. The decor is a twist of modern with some minimalism sprinkled through out. Reds and yellows predominate with a large black and white painting on one wall with another large piece made of colored layerd grains behind glass on another.. I highly recommend if you like vietnamese food.
Forget the wait at Hole in the Wall and do not skip out this place!!! Excellent Vietnamese food from appetizers to salads to rice/vermicelli bowls and soups. I recommend the BBQ pork and the dumpling soup!!!
Amazing food! The servers we're amazing and the atmosphere was so inviting I had a great time when I ate here. I got the pho with was tasty and the fried pot stickers tasted amazing!

I LOVE this place. It's pricey but so is every other restaurant - i really like vietnamese food and this place makes the $ absolutely worth it - the rice plates with BBQ pork/beef is to die for and my go to. the salad appetizer with tofu is a must, the basil peanut chow fun stir fry is RIDICULOUSLY good. i could go on for days. Its never packed so its quiet and a nice place to sit and eat, love it
Food is delicious and the service is great . The atmosphere a little stark . Needs so warmth more color maybe. It is always on the cooler side. It would be nice for it to be a little warmer , especially on these winter evenings .
This is my favorite place to eat in Sebastopol. The food is amazing, fresh and really good flavoring. Coming from living in Berkeley it’s my go to. Good variety for meat eaters and vegetarians. The staff is super friendly and have had exceptional service both with take out and eating indoors/outdoors. My only feedback as a scent sensitive person is that they use some pretty strong cleaners inside and in the bathrooms so if you are sensitive eat outside or do take out. The food and service are soooo worth it!
The food was amazing. I ordered thw gluten free egg noodle shrimp pho, and edamame. It was so so good. The service was fast, and wonderful. It was a relaxing, and enjoyable space, and very clean. This will absolutely be a new favorite.

Kind of pricey. We had spring roll appetizer 1 soup 2 entrees 2 beers $100 plus tip
Coming from Vancouver, Canada, we have fantastic Vietnamese food. While the vermicelli bowl was tasty, it lacked the additional vegetables that we've grown accustomed to like thinly sliced cucumber. The service was friendly and we enjoyed our meal in the communal shaded patio area. Try the beef onion wrap with your bowl. We quite enjoyed this.
So so but the Vietnamese coffee was terrific. I had the bon bowl. No basil or cilantro. Maybe it wasn’t available? I was taught how to make Vietnamese egg rolls with rice wrappers not pasta wrappers. Mine came with pasta wrappers my sons came with rice wrappers. Maybe they ran out? I don’t like pasta wrappers. Much tastier in the city on Irvine st right off 19th by Golden Gate park
Food very good but customer service needs work. I made an order via phone call for take out and there was an honest mistake. They stated it's not their fault and trying to prevent to remove the the soup that I didn't order. She won't budge until my voice has raised up a bit to a point that she will correct it. All they have to say okay at the very beginning. I almost walked away from the whole order.
Viet house was hopping tonight! Always good food here. We definitely go for the edamame, egg rolls and gyoza. We love appetizers, but the pho is the main attraction and it's worth it.
Great vegan pho. Good chao fun too but the pho is so good that's everything else is "i should have taken the pho"....) Sadly the dumplings, and the peanut sauce (relevant to other dishes) are not vegan - so unnecessary...
I highly recommend this restaurant for a relaxed and quiet night out. The pho and noodle dishes are amazing
Nice Vietnamese restaurant with really great food. It’s a really classic Vietnamese menu. I had the pho which was delicious with fresh ingredients. Cheap food and came quickly. Service was good. Great spot to stop for lunch.
Very good vermicelli plate, I wish there were more herbs and greens though.

The Kobe beef taco appetizers were really good but the main dish was pretty plain. I found myself looking around for some sort of extra sauce to give the noodles more flavor. If you want to see a good selection of Sebastopol California yuppies paying too much for bland noodles then this is the place for you...
Food was really good and fresh. My wife is both vegan and gluten free and enjoyed her food. The only real issues were the the service which could have been friendlier and the atmosphere. The restaurant was cold and the music was pretty cheesy.
Got the “Beef Noodle Soup” and the “Spicy Beef Soup”. Beef Noodle one came with the thin slices of beef. Laughable. The beef didn’t even tasted fresh. The broth is the ONLY reason why this place is getting a 3 star rating. Unfortunately they did not earn a new customer and unfortunately I won’t recommend it. Disappointed.
Well... let me get this straight this is the large portion but it's not full? Lol. I'm OK with that if the food was not too salty, if yall want to feel bloated and dehydrate after eating here by all mean go for it. I will personally not will be going back to this place, I just feel bad 😔 that I actually paid for this. You get three starts because the place was clean and neat and because I only try one dish.

This place used to be ok, but after today, I will never go back. 18$ plus tax and tip for 1 item vermicelli bowl which literally only consisted of BBQ chicken, rice noodle, almost impossible to chew shredded lettuce, and a few pieces of grated carrot. I cant even order their soup because its so salty it makes me sick everytime ive tried to eat it. The service was not good and the food was mediocre at best. It says right in the front of the menu that gluten free is available but when i asked for my meal to be gf, they said the bbq chicken isnt gf anymore. They raised their rates significantly and lowered their quality. Not a good way to keep customers. They only stay in business because there are so few restaurants in Sebastopol.
I want to love this place but the food is bland and mediocre. The pho broth is watery, the noodles are mushy, and the portion of meat is absolutely tiny. The peanut sauce served with the spring rolls is diluted and tasteless. I come here every year or two hoping that it has improved, but no. $36 for spring rolls and small pho, tax and tip. No wonder I usually eat at home.

We placed an order for 2 chicken pho ga and an order of spring rolls and it was $54.02 without tip. The price has doubled in a couple months for soup… what is happening here?
I had an absolutely awful experience at Viet House. The bar was empty, with only a handful of people present, yet one server decided it was necessary to ask me to move from a perfectly comfortable bar seat to a cramped, awkward spot surrounded by a mess of crowded cans. The request was completely unnecessary and made no sense whatsoever. Instead of creating a welcoming environment, the server’s behavior came across as dismissive and rude, showing a total lack of respect for paying customers. This is not how you treat people who choose to spend their time and money at your establishment. With so few people in the restaurant and her concern over take-out orders, there was no valid reason for this bizarre request other than sheer laziness or poor customer service training. I left feeling unwelcome and thoroughly unimpressed. There are plenty of other places to go for good drinks and a pleasant atmosphere—I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Avoid Viet House if you value common courtesy or basic professionalism.
