I love coming here! I’ve been here so frequently. All the workers are extremely nice and helpful! I love the energy. I normally get the gucci roll and the Alaska roll and both are so good, I also recommend getting the oysters they are so delicious! they are always busy and packed and still manage to deliver the best customer service. The Crave sushi burrito was amazing! There were 3 of us plus a 1 year old. The wait staff was very friendly, attentive and professional. I had the sushi burrito which was amazing and yes I will definitely go back to have another, my friends had a bento box which was filled generously and a specialty Maki roll along with some Sashimi. We normally go to Crave next door for paninis or pita kitchen for middle eastern food but i am glad we decided to try crave sushi for a change. It was great.

Crave is an easy place to be. Friday night I had one of their oatmeal raisin cookies. I'm a Harsh critic of oatmeal raisin cookies, and this 1 was the bomb -- it was really big, and delicious and had all the right mixtures of things... I know they don't really specialize in oatmeal raisin cookies That's what I wanted. That's what I had and it was awesome...

Food is always good here. Not one time have I walked away dissatisfied. The wait staff are kinda hit or miss though. There are a couple really good ones, and a couple really bad ones. Definitely recommend though.

The sushi is Great! I’ve visited several times and tried several sushi rolls and they are really good. This is one of my favorite places to eat sushi in LA. The service was cordial, efficient. A little slow a very few times when the place got very busy. My favorite roll is the Halloween roll. The salmon collar has been deicio8s every time. Also like their 911 roll and their miso soup. We also like ordering cake and French fries from the cafe side and they will bring them to our table to the sushi side. Also, their happy hour is excellent with great choices and great prices.

Right next to Crave Cafe my first time ever being and this location. As I am proud of the growth of this company. I am a big fan of sushi and would like to come back with family & friends. Ive been to crave next door many times, have always enjoyed it so decided to try next door. Right at the door I was greeted immediately and sat without a reservation by a young lady. I ordered quite a few items on the menu as well as drinks. My server, Jay I believe was very attentive and the flow of delivery was impeccable. Food was great as well. Prices good and it’s in a great location. Thank you to Jay and the staff for a memorable experience. I will be back!!!

Food is fantastic. But service is so and so. Friendly staff, but they tend to forget things. 2 times they forgot the easiest simple plate ever, California roll. The first time they forgot it and they put it on the bill but then they removed it and made me one to go. And the second time I had to remind them twice for it. But a great spot.

I've tried a lot of different sushi places over the years, and these folks do a fantastic job creating cool flavor combinations. I was pleasantly surprised by the creations. It's not the fanciest or the most exotic, but it's worth stopping in.

To celebrate my graduation I decided that I was going to Crave Sushi. When I got there there was no wait and was immediately seated. I started off with edamame as an appetizer, they were well cooked and came out of the shell easily. For my main meal, I decided to choose the baby lobster roll. It was a pretty bold move to create a dish with lobster and mushroom combined. I really enjoyed the texture of it and it's flavor, however one thing I did not enjoy was the temperature difference of the lobster and mushroom to the sushi itself. While the lobster and mushroom were hot, the sushi itself was cold so it threw off the dish. I can definitely say this is something I've never had before and I'm not sure I would get it again. To me this tasted more like a pregnancy craving (no offense to pregnant people). I would definitely recommend it to others who are willing to try something different.

Food is good. They are definitely understaffed at night so when it gets busy it can be hard to get timely service.

Food is really good and service as well. Really unfortunate that they took the 9 to close happy hour as well. We are probably not going back so soon. My wife and I used to go every Friday.

3rd time coming here. First 2 times it was fantastic. Last time wasn't so great. Food tasted a tad different old per say. That was the beginning of a bad stomach ache. I felt bloated and sick right after. I don't want to say I will not be back but I can't stand sushi 😕 😫 😢

Wasn't any good when they opened.... and still isn't.

The only thing good about my chicken teriyaki bento meal was the miso soup. The chicken was grossly dry, the sushi had zero flavor, and the tempura was bland.

We've been coming here for 5 years now. Loved the food and the people. Even though the staff has changed a handful of times. Today's visit was disappointing...the took away all the rolls for happy hour. Now, it's just their appetizers and cut rolls for under $9. Specialty rolls are now back to normal prices of $17 and up. HAPPY HOUR menu is gone. What happened 😕

The sushi is ok and the packaging they do for takeout is awesome. But tonight we put in an order and after two text confirmations alerting me to the time the order would be ready they called me 2 minutes prior to the “ready” time to cancel. The problem here is that this was after I waited over 45 minutes. Therefore, I would have appreciated and common sense would have dictated that they should have alerted me to this way prior to two minutes preceding my pickup time. Just awful because they gave me no other options or consolation. I would have gladly changed my order to food that didn’t have the rice that they were out of. Additionally, they said that rice would take another hour to be ready. Rice doesn’t take an hour.

I used to come here once a week for Sushi burrito as I work in area. However they’ve changed and now the burrito is half the size as it used to be. About the same size as a roll now. Not worth it in my opinion. Bummer because I used to love it here.

I ordered online. They won't answer and I can't confirm my order. This was hours ago. I checked my credit card and order has been received. I hope I get food? This is ridiculous.

Worst service the manager was rude the wait for two rolls was almost two hours they did nothing to make it better. Basically the worst place I ever ate in my entire life. Got any food they only gave me half my order I asked for wasabi they never delivered it. Disrespectful managers and staff. And the cooking staff act like they can just take all night they’re sitting there talking not doing any work.

I initially posted my review on yelp, but these mouth-breating troglodyte owners were too cowardly to allow it to stay up. In short, this restaurant exploits youth workers. They've done it all including making youth workers work past their work permit's designated time, withheld overtime pay, and even made them serve alcohol. These unethical business practices are absurd and it's a shame that they treat their employees this way. Anyways, the only thing that management seems to crave is $$$ at the end of the day.

DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO SUPPORT A RESTAURANT THAT OVERWORKS MINORS AND END UP NOT PAYING THEIR PAYCHECKS IN FULL!! The owners are horrible people who make their minors work past 9 pm, underpay them so it's not on the records that they were working past 9 pm, and let them serve alcohol. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else that actually cares about their employees.

This was the worst food/service I have ever received in my entire life. Food was brought half an hour after ordering and cold, waitress no where to be seen the entire time we ate. On top of all of this we had to wait for 15mins at the front of the store to pay for our meal before we left. All in all do not waste your money here.

One of the worst Japanese restaurants I've been in. The Shishito peppers were burnt and tasteless. The Agedashi tofu had no kausuobushi on top. The Spanish Mackerel Nigiri sushi was tiny and overpriced. The Seafood Ramen was horrible. The broth was too salty, the shrimp were not cleaned, the mussels were tough and the noodles were cheap spaghetti. Service was mediocre and the hot green tea (bag) was served in a huge coffee cup.

Food was ok for the prices and the size of the sushi. Unfortunately service was very very slow. Not to the fault of the servers, but the fact there were only 2 of them serving every table. After finishing our food and waiting at least 20 minutes, we still hadn't received the check so we left enough cash to cover the bill at the table and left.

Terrible service! Waiter lied to me and said he doesn’t work here when he in fact did. Was completing a door dash order, restaurant was late to prepare food. Was not even busy just very incompetent staff. Notice below the owners response is not to get better. His pattern is to demand people to not come back. Why? They are posted as open online, they are posted as open on their front door schedule, their sister restaurant next door say they are open, the door is closed and locked. the workers are inside doing nothing, shaking their heads like it's closed. It's 1pm, they open/opened/ should have opened at 12. I called the restaurant, from sitting outside, on the phone they are saying they are open and to come in. The front door is locked. This is crazy, either change your hours, put a note on the front door, tell your other restaurant, or something. The workers are just free loading, saying the restaurants open while sitting inside doing nothing. If you're gonna come late to work or decide not to work atleast leave a note on the door. Terrible

I’m not gonna lie. This was the worst service I’ve probably ever had? The waiter somehow threw away the menu with our order on it after asking us to write everything down. 40 minutes after we ordered he asked what we were still waiting on. When we told him none of our order had come out, he brought us ONE item on our order and nothing else. And it wasn’t good.

Do not trust their estimate time when ordering on their website. It's completely not accurate. The company needs to improve their order delivery system. At the moment of ordering it said 25 minutes, and once we arrive they just texted us saying that the order will be ready in 1.5 hour, seriously? That's ridiculous!!!

I have no idea HOW they are still in business. I honestly thought something wrong with me ordering it wrong or something but EVERY time something happens! you would not believe it: one friday they gave me someone’s order after making me wait outside for 30 min (yes on that corner) past promised 40-50 mins. when I came all the way to bring it back, they asked me if I “started eating it” I said no and they took it and GAVE TO SOMEBODY ELSE in front of me! in pandemic. then next saturday they just simply canceled my order 40mins after ordering, when everything else is closed around. It took 4 days for refund and had no dinner (they claim to take orders till night, then screw you over and leave you with nothing and smirky apology. I had successful orders but they all was a stressful mess plus LITERALLLY forgetting to start the order for example - I had to go in and make them «start working on» it, even tho the app says it’s ready long time ago and I just quit. you won’t believe but today I decided to give it another chance - it started already crooked (1hour 10mins(!!) for two sets of sushi. 12 sushis! guess what. it’s 23:40.. they NEVER started working on it, told me they can not make the second set (of two) cuz they ran out of ingredients (of course 1,5h pats saturday night) and after I asked for at least the first set (shrimp roll, 15bucks) they turned around and told me.. it’s not ready yet! I really dropped. now I’m outside fighting with GrubHub to return my TWO sets of rolls refund. thank you crave. no more chances, no stars, stay away, they will take your money, leave you hungry and miserable on their little corner at 11:30pm with no options around. STAY AWAY! UPDATE: the main review was posted coupIe month ago and was tagged “helpfull” 5 times. today I decided to order and pick up one more time. came 15min after the “ready” message knowingly later to give them time.. “- 10 more minutes”. my order you can see on the picture below:
