I love the best sandwich restaurant since Subway was founded by Fred DeLuca and financed by Peter Buck on August 28, 1965. It's so amazing with this beloved fast food chain with sandwiches, wraps, potato chips, and cookies. Some folks may not think it's perfect, but I don't mind because I can always love experiences with my positive attitude. Subway was also where the 1989 movie Lethal Weapon 2 was filmed at with Mel Gibson, Danny Glover, and Joe Pesci.

Some folks may not think it's perfect, but I don't mind because I can always love experiences with my positive attitude. Quick, clean, easy to get into for mobility challenged. The parking l9t can be very difficult to navigate, depending on the time of day you go. There is a traffic light and a back parking lot. The back parking lot is flat and fairly well maintained if using a mobility assistive device.
Place was very clean , very organized! Young lady took our order , she was very sweet and polite , she made us 3 sandwiches one was a breakfast sandwich , she Offered a few tips for our breakfast sandwich ! Food was perfect as always ! Very good service !

I have been to a lot of Subways. None have much atmosphere but you're hoping for a good sandwich. This subway the person who helped me was kind but difficult to understand. She spoke very quietly in a loud busy space. The sandwich was ok I have had better. The avocado was very fresh.
Why three stars? Because they charged me $11.99 for just avocado on a foot long with mayo, no meat no cheese no greens etc. It pisses me off that I was charged an additional $4 for avocado alone on just bread, after I gave the attendant a coupon for $7.99 footlong. Go figure!!!!??? It's not right. For now the leading company of fast foods, it's not right.

They do not accept coupons and the worker was actually rude about it. Also they close at 9 pm which I think is too early. There are people trying to eat in this area at that time.its a busy area

This location is, without a doubt in my mind, one of the worst places I have gone to eat. Though I’m unaware of what happened specifically, the lady in front of us got a salad and they messed it up enough to get her quite upset. Meanwhile another worker started to put mustard on my girlfriend’s sandwich when she asked for basil pesto. We were informed they’re out of Basil Pesto sauce which is perfectly understandable, but when we asked her to wipe off the mustard she had put on the sandwich she proceeded to look for the mustard once again with the intent to add more even though we had asked her to stop prior. Meanwhile I was pushed to the back of the line even though we were paying together. My sandwich bread tasted stale after being out for so long. I enjoy subway quite a bit, but this experience was absolutely awful and I’m extremely disappointed in the service this location offered
Such a bad service at this location, server had a bad attitude and was so rude. When I paid the order and wanted to redeem a coupon she said that it wasn't valid. She ended up charging me full price. Never again I'm a going to this location.
I STRONGLY advise against this location. Most of the staff is fine (though nobody seens particularly friendly) but there is one guy that seems to always be there that destroys our subs 100% of the time and the gamble just isn't worth it anymore. You ask for a wrap, you get a flatbread... You ask for honey mustard, you get yellow mustard... Then he puts his full weight onto the sandwich to cut it in half for some reason so it's always smashed I tried to have patience in the chance that he's differently abled but when you come to a place for food and the food is messed up EVERY SINGLE TIME for over a year, it gets to be unforgivable. I'm going to start paying extra on ubereats to ensure my sandwiches never come from this location.
Cluster F#@k. First, neither of the ladies working was very confident of their English so, there was a problem before anything happened. But one woman would only nod and say "Yes?" pointing quickly towards the start of the ingredients. I ordered a 6 inch tuna but immediately she is making a salami something sub and pointing to the toppings and saying "Yes?" I told her I had a coupon, and she says they don't take the coupons!!!! This is a major, branded company, there's no consistency across the stores? She points at the coupon to do the explaining for her, but I can't read that fine print. The other lady says "we don't take them, the manager says we don't have to." Nice attitude behind the rule: We don't have to. The radio was playing some hip-hop station way too loud. The guy in line ahead of us was having difficulties as we came in, and I assumed he was some weirdo. Nope, he was just good and frustrated by the time came to pay. So was I. Why do some stores get to ignore the coupons knowing full well that once a person is there in the store they are likely unwilling to go drive elsewhere. So, they get the benefit of the brand advertising, they know many of those disappointed over the coupons will buy something anyway. I had no choice, subs were requested but I wound up paying about $27 dollars, the coupon was 3 footlongs for $17.99. And, they were just hosed with oil and vinegar which was not appreciated 15 minutes later when unwrapped. I used to work there years ago. The place is like a vending machine now.
This place has the worst customer service I've ever gotten anywhere, especially from a 50 or 60-year-old blonde woman. She was very rude and nasty to us. We will never come back to this Subway again.
I bought a new item. A churro. I personally eat churros in many places; some are great, some are not that good. But the churro at subway is horrible. One bite was enough. I had to trash it. there is a bad taste after biting it a few times, like some type of chemical or bad over used oil. I offered a bite to my wife and told me the same thing. Do not recommend it.
Used to order from here all time. Last time I ordered it was wrong to the point of parody. Ordered a steak and cheese with onions and peppers got a steak and cheese with cucumbers and black olives without cheese and I don't even think the steak was even nuked as it was ice cold. Vomit. Also for whatever reason this location decided to stop participating in every discount or promotion subway offers everywhere else so there's literally no point in ever going here over any other subway location.
Hello, I feel that I have experienced discrimination. A clerk named Isabel at 107 Van Nuys Blvd. did not speak to me when she came out the back of the store. She just took my order. Some Hispanic customers walked in and she got all perked up and gave them a warm welcome. I made a comment that I didn’t get greeted that way and she started getting loud with me. We went back and forth after that. I come to this subway (store 1257-0) every two weeks right before I get my nails done next door and the same woman is rude. She said that I’m rude to her and complain. I have never complained. She gets upset when I ask for additional items…not sure why that makes her mad. Also, she kept picking food from another container out out the spinach that she was adding to mr sandwich. Isabel should be fired, she has zero customer service skills for all customers apparently except for the Hispanic customers. I like subway and would like to continue visiting the store. At the very least Isabel needs additional training. I will keep complaining until something is done about this woman. Every time I walk in this location I get anxiety when I realize she has to help me. Please please please do something about this lady… The condiments also look very old especially the lettuce. I would hate to get sick and have to send a complaint about cross contamination of food. Subway please do better with the staff that is hired…customers come first and if Isabel is working there only the Hispanic customers come first. I will be adding this complaint and store to Yelp and Google Review. Thank you! I have complained via the Subway site per the instructions of the automated phone message. I have filed 2 complaints and I have not heard back from one customer service representative. It is too bad that Subway has no respect for a customer that has had a horrible customer service experience. The food was old and shriveled up as well and you’re serving that to humans. People work hard everyday and when we go to a place of business or a restaurant, people expect what is advertised and we deserve the best service since we’re spending our hard earned money. I am disappointed that I have not received so much as an response to my complaint(s) from a month ago. Since it seems like Subway represents discrimination, I’ll never eat your nasty, old, Leftover, reused, cross contaminated, reused, germ filled (during COVID), aired out, sitting out, shriveled, uncared for, talked over by employees food again. I will be contacting the health department regarding the restaurant’s food conditions and the better business bureau for the customer service at store 1257 in Sherman Oaks, on Van Nuys Blvd. Isabel is a racist, rude employee that should be fired!!!! Never been to a Subway where they are so unpleasant impolite and so careless , and it’s usually a fast process to even notice except this time. I’m in shock that a subway can have this careless,rude service. The lady tried to close up my child’s sandwich without any veggies , didn’t even bother to ask me, I had to tell her I want lettuce on that, like really lady!I ordered a kids meal which includes a toy I wasn’t given one , so when I asked she said the bag was the toy, I pointed to the menu which clearly says comes with toy, I mean it is a “kids” meal....so another worker stepped in and said we had to choose the bag or toy ....I replied well I was never asked which we’d prefer....it’s not so much the toy here it’s the careless service form these Employees. It’s not that hard of a job to make a kids meal a happy one or to make eye contact with the customers or to ask what we would like in our sandwich. Never going back to this Subway especially if I see the same employees from today (Sunday 9/30/18) around 2pm. Two thumbs down!
I would strongly recommend avoiding this location unless you enjoy poor customer service and receiving an incorrect order. It’s baffling how the staff can’t properly prepare a sandwich that’s clearly listed on their own menu. Whoever is responsible for hiring and training employees here seriously needs to reassess their approach. This is by far the worst Subway I’ve ever visited. The team needs to learn both how to treat customers respectfully and how to correctly make the items they’re selling.
I had a coupon for 2 footlong sandwiches in which I told the person that was making sandwiches before hand. Anyway when time came to pay she said that they don’t take coupons. It was a valid subway coupon. She wanted to charge $29.00 for the two foot longs and debate me about telling her before hand that I had a coupon. The customer behind me told her that she heard me say it. Needless to say that she would not honor the coupon so I walked out and left both sandwiches because she took one out and was going to charge me full price for one. Sadly she probably had to throw the sandwiches away or pay for them herself. I then went to another Subway and no problem. They were appalled that I went through that and told me that I should’ve asked for the manager. I will never patronize that particular Subway again plus the parking sucks
