We worked with Claire Callistein after noticing some speech delays with our almost three-year-old, and she has been wonderful. She’s warm, communicative, and great at her job! She gave us simple, practical strategies to continue to use at home after sessions and was always open to questions even outside of sessions. If you’re a parent feeling unsure about seeking support, I can’t recommend her enough. We’re so grateful we found her as have seen so much progress!
I had a wonderful experience at Crossroads. I had to see a voice specialist. I had reached out and Katie got back to me the same day and was so efficient and was able to schedule for me to be seen the following week. Mary was my SLP and she was WONDERFUL. She took the time to get to know me and what my needs were. I will be going back in the future if I ever need therapy again. Highly recommend.
Our experience at Crossroads has been so wonderful for our entire family. Our son began working with Kaitlin for Occupational Therapy and later added Speech with Alayna. They both are so thoughtful, motivating, and proactive. OT and SLP are made fun and exciting for him with these two. Each week they work with him on tools and techniques that consider not just their specialities, but the whole wellbeing of the child. As parents, we’ve seen positive growth in the time we’ve been working with them and know we will continue to. Not only have they taught our son so many tools, they have provided guidance for us as parents. We feel we have so many more tools in our parenting toolbox. They always take the time to answer questions and provide possible solutions to any challenges we’re facing. Now each week he looks forward to seeing them both. They make therapies fun and exciting for him. Most importantly, they make him feel safe and loved. If you’re considering Crossroads, do it! If you can work with Alayna or Kaitlin, even better.
We have worked with Katie and Sarah at Crossroads for speech therapy for my son. Both therapists were communicative, kind, and engaging. They answered all of my questions, and offered suggestions for out of school time to practice at home. They made it fun for my son and we have seen a difference in his speech pattern.
From the very first session, Kelly Schade created a trusting and comfortable environment for my 11-year-old daughter. She took the time to understand her specific issues with sounds and letters, established goals and expectations, patiently worked with her for multiple weeks, and shared immediate feedback after each session. I would highly recommend Crossroads Speech and Occupational Therapy to others.
Sending a big thank you to Crossroads, and especially, Audrey! She worked tirelessly and creatively with our son, JS, on his pragmatic social communication. JS successfully completed goals under Audrey’s guidance. Teachers at school have noticed the progress and growth made with JS’ skills. We are most grateful that Audrey strongly connected and warmly supported our child through each session, and with at home practice. Thank you!
Lillianne is a phenomenal OT therapist. She is such a pleasure and works well with my son and I can see the difference in him. I would absolutely recommend her, she definitely deserves 5 stars.
Claire was the perfect fit for my pre-teen son! Her techniques were relevant and truly engaging, which made a noticeable difference in my son's confidence and communication skills. She helped him develop advanced conversation skills and also guided him in adjusting his communication for different settings. Equally impactful was her work on emotional awareness—helping him identify and understand his own emotions as well as the emotions of others. This foundational skill has been invaluable in navigating social situations and regulating emotional responses. We’ve seen meaningful growth, and I highly recommend Claire to any family looking for thoughtful, effective, and age-appropriate support.
I truly enjoyed the services for my twin boys. Our Therapist Ms Abby was amazing. She was very flexible. She had no problem with rescheduling. If I had a conflict she was so sweet and so nice and very patient with my twins. If in the near future, I would love to work with her again and use this particular company because she went above and beyond thank you Ms Abby
We couldn’t have asked for a better occupational therapist than Lindsey. She came in at a pivotal time for Cole, helping him transition smoothly from one phase to mastering his executive-functioning skills. Lindsey worked thoughtfully, creatively and with so much kindness — she celebrated his wins and gently guided him through the challenges. Her ability to engage, motivate and empower Cole (and us as parents) made all the difference. We’re so grateful for her support and the positive momentum she’s helped create. Cole is now a happy graduate of the program! Highly recommended!
After having a vocal polyp removed, I was encouraged to start vocal therapy and came across Crossroads. I had the privilege of working with Arlene, who was super knowledgable and such a joy to work with. I highly recommend her!
Highly Recommend Alayna! Alayna has been absolutely wonderful to work with! She has been coming to our home once a week through Early Intervention for over six months to work with our daughter, Alina, and the progress has been incredible. We noticed improvement after just the first session, and now Alina is speaking so well—we’ve had so much fun being able to communicate with her and see her confidence grow. What really stood out to us was how kind, patient, and engaging Alayna was with Alina. She made every session fun and comfortable, and Alina always looked forward to seeing her. She also taught us so much as parents—how to better communicate and model language in ways that weren’t intuitive to us but made such a big difference. We’re so grateful for everything Alayna has done for our family. She helped unlock Alina’s voice and gave us the tools to support her long after the sessions ended. I can’t recommend her enough!
We are fortunate to work with Kaitlin since June. When I researched Crossrads, I was wondering how it had so many positive reviews, but I definitely see why. Our son's school recommended he consider OT for fine motor skills, which have been greatly remedied but beyond that, we've seen him develop into a strong, confident young boy who is also tackling focus, self-regulation, and the way he holds his pencil. The notes/write ups I get after are always so comprehensive and we can see Kaitlin has done so much great work. She has been communicative with us when we had questions or suggestions for some areas to ask/work with him on. She has also given us at-home exercises we can work with him on whether it's related to specific skills they are covering or ones we're interested in doing at home (shoe tying, etc.). Overall, we're so pleased with the experience with Crossroads and love the rapport Kaitlin has developed with our little one.
We have been working with Sarah Resis for two years with our 5 year old daughter and have seen immense progress. Sarah is patient, kind and has clear goals on what is needed to improve. Our daughter LOVES her speech therapy sessions because Sarah makes it fun to learn. Would very much recommend working with her!
We worked with Abby Rubin for speech therapy for our son from 18 months to 3 years. She was always a pleasure to work with, and my son adored his time with her and his speech improved leaps and bounds during this time.
Angelica was a wonderful addition to our son’s EI therapy team! Her expertise in AAC devices allowed us to better work with our son, and her understanding of different learning language models changed how we continue to teach our son language beyond his time in EI.
Crossroads is fantastic! Our son enjoyed working with Angelica and was excited to come each week. She catered her approach to his needs, scaffolded skills week by week and, kept him engaged by tapping into his humor. We were amazed at the progress week over week and will be forever thankful to Angelica for the lasting impact to our sons speech.
We've worked with Audrey for 2+ years with both of our sons. She is seriously amazing! I felt like she was a true partner in this journey for both of our kids. She was a great communicator, had very clear goals outlined and connected so well with both of our very different boys! She also did a great job being flexible-sometimes came to our house and sometimes met our son at his school. His teachers also loved Audrey and appreciated how she gave them helpful things to work on in the classroom as well. I'm so so sad to not be seeing Audrey every week. She is seriously the BEST of the BEST!
I am 100% crying as I write this review because I would have loved my child to work with Ms. Alayna Kriegel until 18 years old, whether he needed speech or not. Alayna has been nothing short of AMAZING! My son came to her at 2 years old through Early Intervention and was not speaking. He had some words at 10 months but experienced loss of speech at about 1.5 years old. I greatly attribute the delay to Covid, lead poisoning, and leaving him with a care provider that did not talk very much. My son had many behaviors that were less optimal upon meeting Alayna. I am sometimes embarrassed to admit that he would spit, fall out, scream, and throw things when he did not get his way, was asked to transition, or could not express himself through words or gestures. Alayna was so patient with my baby and essentially supported him with attending, flexibility, and most importantly SPEECH. My son started back talking on April 6, 2024 (7 days before turning 3). His first words were "ready, set, go" which Alayna taught him in the many play therapy sessions they had. Fast forward to today, my son has been in therapy for two years and has made tremendous progress. He now speaks in 4-5 word sentences, can express what he wants, can answer -wh questions, and most importantly his behavior has greatly improved because he's no longer frustrated that people cannot understand him. Alayna supported me in getting my son a speech only IEP and due to school support and maturation I have decided to give my son a break, but we would recommend Alayna to anyone. I prayed for my son to be surrounded by angels before he was born and my prayers were answered when we met Alayna. Crossroads has hired wonderful clinicians, patient clinicians, and most importantly, clinicians that love and treat your kids like their own. Thank you Alayna and thank you Crossroads for the way that you have helped my baby. God bless you all!
Ellie at Crossroads went above my expectations when I brought my daughter in due to complete bottle refusal and difficulties with solids at 8 month old. She was losing weight and I was getting stressed and concerned. After two sessions with Ellie, my daughter showed amazing improvement and is now bringing food to her mouth, like watermelon, slices of orange, and dumplings. Not only that, but she helped me find the best sippy cup for her. She's now drinking 7-8oz all by herself! Thanks to Ellie again for making me feel more confident in helping her reach these milestones!
We have loved our experience at Crossroads- from the easy online paperwork, to the email appointment reminders, and of course our awesome feeding therapist Ellie. The constant email updates following our appointment helped us keep track of the progress our daughter was making and things we needed to work on at home. It hasn’t hurt that our daughter is obsessed with Ellie and enjoys being there. Thanks Crossroads!
Kelly Schade worked with my son for 6 months between 1-2 years of age when he was struggling with speech. The development and growth he had while working with her was remarkable, but even more than that, the relationship she built with him was fantastic. She came weekly to his daycare and multiple times to my house and was incredibly accommodating. I’d highly recommend her, and am very grateful for the time she spent with my son!
Kelly Schade at Crossroads assessed our our 5 year old daughter’s speech challenges and then created a thoughtful, personalized plan to help our daughter. We saw improvements quickly not only in pronunciation but also reduced frustration if it took time for our daughter to get her words out. Kelly also gave us handouts to work on at home to help our daughter. At first our daughter was scared to start therapy but Kelly made her so comfortable and happy. Our daughter ended up always looking forward to being with her. I would highly recommend Crossroads and working with Kelly.
We worked with Abby for a little less than two years. My daughter and I absolutely adore her. We only had one session with her before the pandemic hit and everything went virtual. Virtual learning is a challenge but in our virtual sessions Abby was always so incredibly patient and understanding. This was the most wonderful experience because not only did Abby engage my daughter and help her to feel successful, but she also empowered me with the tools I needed as a parent to help my daughter grow. Pictured is the two of them having a pretend meal via zoom session. Cannot say enough good things about her and Crossroads. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. My daughter was sad to graduate!
I was trying not to write a review but I get furious knowing they stole money off our credit card repeatedly and our daughter only got 30 mins of their time and not even that much. She was going for speech but all they did was play with toys so nothing major. Next thing I know it went from $30 to $300 and more!! We never saw them but 1 time and we see multiple charges repeatedly. We called them and they got mad! Like how do you get mad for stealing off our card. Long story short do not put your card on file with them. Please think wisely before booking a session.
