Great bubble tea cafe! Extensive menu. Drinks are strongly flavored. Their Hokkaido milk tea is a fan fave. I tried the First Kiss (rose tea) with cheese foam and light sugar.. it was divine! The melting ice toned it down which I preferred. Boba was soft and chewy, cheese foam was rich and creamy. They also have a food menu— noodles are popular. Sort of pricey but worth a splurge. Plenty of seating, if a bit uncomfortable. Has Wi-Fi and a few spots with electric outlets. Is spacious but doesn’t seem to have any AC, and can get loud with background ambience. Some outdoor seating is available too. Gets very crowded after school and the workday. Free 2-3 hr parking on the streets nearby and right across from the metro stop. Check it out sometime!
Ordered the Jasmine Green Tea with boba and less ice in regular size. It's a really nice cooling drink, not too sweet even with the boba added. Far from an energy drink but it does somewhat energize for a casual day. Size is a good amount. Good timing on arrival in the afternoon, my drink was ready in seconds. Not a hole in the wall but easy to miss because there's no streetfront door. There's a shared streetfront door and then a subdoor to access it. Actually makes it kind of interesting to watch the street from the front window as the world passes by.
Pleasantly surprised with this cute little tea shop and restaurant. They have a nice selection of food, snacks, and drinks. Super chill environment where people can come and chat over some boba or dine in for dinner. The food is authentically Chinese from Yunnan province. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend checking this place out for a quick bite or some refreshing drinks.
Tasty food, lovely atmosphere! Got the Mango Madness, Strawberries and Cream, spicy beef noodles and the sausage rice! Everything tasted good and was well portioned, the noodles had a nice numbing spiciness and the sausage rice felt balanced with the salad. Great drinks! I'd say the sausage rice is a bit oily and the sausage fat could have been rendered, but otherwise I'd come back regularly for lunch. :)
Loved my drink! Perfect vibes, the owner is super chill and cares about his how things taste! The staff was very nice and helpful, service was superb! Oh and the music selection was on point while I sipped, they put me on to some new musc hehe. Will definitely be back again.
I’m so happy I found this place! It’s super cute and they have delicious drinks. The service is great and it’s also a nice place to work (free WiFi, restrooms). It can get a bit loud though so being a pair of headphones if you’re planning to work. They also have simple dishes if you get hungry or crave something savory. I tried the vegetarian dumplings. Good taste but a bit watery (a lot of liquid on the dish).
Excellent boba and flavors! We ordered the strawberries and cream specialty and taro root and enjoyed them both, I especially liked the real strawberry flavor on mine, I shook the drink before taking the photo so you can't see it in the photo.

Love the atmosphere here. Nice place to get an order of Taiwanese sausage and a milk tea in the afternoon, sit back and read a book~ One of these days, I really wanna try there spicy veg noodle soup~
I got their House Spicy Zha Jiang Mian (medium spicy) and their Cold Brew coffee. The Zha Jiang was good, way too salty and honestly more like pasta than a true zha jiang noodle dish. Salad was unusual to have with the dish but cut through the salt of the noodles. Coffee was delicious, would definitely order again. The only downside was staff started mopping the floors and it made the eating area smell strongly of cleaning agent. Turned me off eating pretty quick. I get trying to get a head start on mopping but that was not a fun experience.
Food: Taro Taiwanese Shaved Ice was really good. The shaved milk ice was fluffy and creamy and melted with no crunch. It was not overly sweet and the taro flavor was subtle. There were two sizes. Small is good for 1-2 people, and we were told that large serves 3-4. The popcorn chicken and crispy tofu were both good, as advertised, and actually crispy. They were served with cayenne and soy sauce on the side. Food came out surprisingly fast. Drinks took a bit longer. Drinks: Tried the Matcha Bandera with mango instead of strawberry. I also subbed oat milk instead of regular milk. I thought the flavors worked well together. Also had the Berry Hokkaido which turned out to be Hokkaido milk tea with strawberry puree. Based on the picture on their website I was expecting it to be like a smoothie, but it was just milk tea. It was fine but not very standout.
My Hokkaido matcha was tasty. It was crowded on a weekend but didn’t have to wait too long for my drink

Was craving boba milk tea and saw this place had good ratings. Got the Earl grey milk tea with boba. The tea tasted rather weak, and I wasn’t impressed. The place is cute, and they serve food as well.
The aesthetic of the shop is very simple, mostly white, gray, wood/earth tones and hints of blue. I love how the plants adds to the relaxing vibe of this place it is a nice shop to just sit and study, read sketch or just hang out. Did not get to try the food so would be reviewing mostly drinks: “Hear of the Ocean” : lemonade base with pea flower. A bit on the sweet side too but the lemon does help balance it out. Perfect for a hot day as it is very refreshing. “First Kiss” : rose milk tea. I personally prefer Labobatory’s Rose milk tea since they use actual rose water but here it seems like they just used syrup which disappointed me. I do appreciate that the guy who made my drink kept asking if the drink was okay so it is good that they are seeking to improve. I would come back here though to give their other drinks a shot. I personally order Oolong milk tea a lot so would like to compare that to other places I’ve tried.
The flavor was okay, but it was different from what I expected. I was looking forward to more authentic Taiwanese-style food, but the minced pork rice was made with regular ground meat rather than the traditional chopped pork belly typically used in Taiwanese minced pork rice. Might still be enjoyable for those who aren’t too familiar with Taiwanese cuisine. Milk tea was super cheap — under $5 for a regular size, which is rare in the U.S. Not the best tasting, but hey, for that price, can’t expect too much.
Decided to Postmates a few drinks & snacks from this place. Most items were decent but their were some shortcomings. Maybe because I ordered so close to their closing time. ITEM'S ORDERED: Iced Assam Black Tea (non sweetened) Cold Brew (non sweetened) Iced Jasmine Green Tea (non sweetened) Iced Matcha Latte (soy, non sweetened) Popcorn Chicken House Spicy Zha Jiang Mian (75% spicy) TASTE: All the teas were pretty decent here with good flavoring & didn't taste oversteeped/bitter, but also weren't washed out. The Iced Matcha Latte did have a weeker flavor of matcha than I usually like despite being quite green. But the gf informed me when she was at this establishment in person an employee explained their matcha is from a region in Japan that specifically produces "lighter" flavored matcha. So yeah. The Cold Brew had a strong flavor which I usually like but I didn't find the actual coffee flavor that pleasant. Must be the beans they use just don't work for my palate. But I imagine others may like it. The Popcorn Chicken was alright popcorn chicken, maybe just a little blander than I've had. It was just a really small portion. The House Spicy Zha Jiang Mian comes alongside a little spring mix side salad. The noodles just kinda look like a light red meat sauce & actualy tastes like that mixed with some good chili oil. That's not a bad thing, it's actually a pretty good flavor, little sweet, spicy, & savory from the minced pork. Big fan of the wide noodles. SERVICE, LOCATION & PARKING: This was a Postmates order so no comments directly on service. Although I didn't appreciate having a big basil stem in the popcorn chicken which was one of the smallest portions I've ever seen. I usually make it a point to not order from a place so close to closing but still. They are located on Mission St & Meridian Ave. If you're lucky you'll find street parking right on Mission & I think there's a few spots in the back of the building. Otherwise you should be able to find residential parking not too far off. In the end most the items were alright but with all the drink places in the local area I'm not rushing to return back here. But I'm also not opposed to it as well.

Snacks like the popcorn chicken and matcha latte are ok. But the noodles are truly NOT legit. I just didn’t know why and what I’m eating… flavorless broth and meet. They even just used Lao Gan Ma as the chilli oil… completely disrespectful of the culture of rice noodle soup.

Came here after seeing some good reviews on RedNote. So if you’re non-Chinese, and if you don’t like green onions, cilantro, garlic, soy sauce, salt, fermented green beans, fermented sauerkraut—if you don’t like an authentic bowl of Chinese rice noodles—this is the perfect place for you. Sad to see Chinese food whitewashed liked this.
I ordered the house beef noodle soup, which had a lot of soup, a lot of noodles, but very little beef. For $8.99 and a five-minute walk down the street, you can buy a pound of Premium Angus Beef Boneless Chuck Roast from Trader Joe’s. Here, for $14.99, I received small pieces of meat that barely covered the center of a 6-inch plate. After taking our order, our server proceeded to eat his own dinner at a nearby table during our wait of over 10 minutes, without ever checking on the status of our food. So here’s my offer: if the owner can provide a photo of a beef noodle soup from any other Chinese restaurant that serves a comparable beef-to-everything-else ratio, I’ll happily return to apologize and amend this review to five stars. Until then, this remains a satisfying noodle soup that happens to feature beef as a garnish. 这不是牛肉面,这是“牛肉干”面。

Avoid this place! The food was tasteless and, worse, the ingredients were definitely spoiled. I ended up with a bad stomach ache and diarrhea right after my meal. It’s a health hazard. Extremely disappointed and will never return.
There were no problems with the food or staff, but the amount of flies inside the restaurant was absolutely insane. I went to have lunch with my sister and we were constantly having to swat away flies that were either flying around us or were already on our food. I’ve seen the flies previous times as well, and even different fly species. It’s unhygienic and discouraging, the owners need to do better.
There were a few reasons for my rating: First, I ordered a black coffee and a bowl of beef noodle soup. When I was going to pay, I noticed that the total was wrong (almost doubled the price). I asked them why the total was so high, they apologized and fixed the amount. Second, I ordered black coffee. They gave me milk tea. So, I went back and told them it should be black coffee. They made me a second one, but it was coffee with sugar. So I had to tell them again. Finally, they got me a black coffee on the third try. Lastly, the beef noodle soup I got was only a few small pieces of fat beef. It's not worth $14.99. Not only this, they also made wrong drinks for my friends who went with me. 3 drink orders, they made 5 wrongs. Luckily, we were dine-in. Imagine if it was a to-go order. Anyways, just be aware of it and make sure you receive the right orders before leaving the place.
