Had no idea this building was an Italian restaurant. It seems they opened relatively recently. Decided to order takeout for an occasion. Inside was beautiful with large tables and a full bar. I even saw they had set up a private room in the vault. There were quite a handful of people eating when I went to pick up my order. We ordered the linguine with clams and the rigatoni alla carcerata and the calamari. The meal was great with a bottle of wine. The rigatoni all carcerata was definitely our favorite of the items of we ordered, but all the dishes were amazing! I can't wait to come back again and eat inside.
The building is amazing! Once a bank is now a classy upscale Italian dining experience. The waiter was very accommodating. I told him what comes on the oyster rockefeller back home, and he added that special razzle dazzle! Lol The lemon drop martini is also good. My coworkers had the red snapper and seafood alfedo. No complaints. An enjoyable dinner topped off with delicious lava cake and taramisu for dessert. Recommend? Yes Street parking. Busy area.
Charming restaurant inside a former bank. I tried 3 course fixed price lunch for $24. Starter is choice between house salad or soup of the day, an entree and dessert. There were 5-6 choices for entree including a vegetarian and seafood option. Dessert was choice of gelato or chocolate mousse Everything was tasty and we got fresh bread while our food was being prepared. Normally I would say $24 is expensive for lunch but given the inflation as of late I thought this was reasonable given ambiance and quality of food. I probably should have saved 1/2 my entree so I could have enjoyed the mousse more. It was delicious but could only get a few bites in as I was so full by the time dessert came out. You can order off the menu if 3course meal is not your preference. Pizza is only offered at dinner fyi.
cibo delizioso con ottimo servizio, An old bank converted to a beautiful restaurant with high ceilings and a spacious dining area. You can't ask for or expect more, excellent food, a well trained staff and a nice ambiance . If you have a large party, ask for the vault room. It's a little on the $$$, but worth it.
Great foodnand service for a party if 19. Thanks, we will be back!
Fantastic experience at Andiamo In Banca! Best Italian cuisine with a nostalgic flair! I ordered the calamari Fritter deep fried calamari served with spicy tomato sauce, Linguine with clams linguine pasta with fresh manila clams in a light spicy garlic white wine sauce and House cured swordfish served with caper dressing and for the final cuisine grilled baby rack of lamb, topped with garlic rosemary and balsamic vinaigrette. Now that's Amore! Romantic atmosphere and good selection of wine and dessert. Highly recommend visiting! Buono appetit!💖💖💖💖🌹🌹🌹🌹🌺🌺🌺🌺
I have a modest appetite and rarely devour everything on my plate. I take home many a doggy bag, though:-) This restaurant gets my first ever "Clean Plate" award. Though there have been times I finished everything on my plate, this time I consider noteworthy! Congratulations, Adiamo In Banca, for inspiring a new standard in my reviews... THE CLEAN PLATE AWARD. Those who follow will know I consider those who receive it, top notch in every respect.
Very good service and a delicious meal. We had a party of eight and were able to dine in the vault so our conversation did not disturb other diners. My pollo marsala was mouthwatering delicious. We had fried calamari for appetizers along with delicious meatballs. It was also wonderful to have decaf coffee that needed no cream or sugar. Kudos to the chefs, the wait staff, the owners, everyone for having a restaurant that cares about what goes on the plate and how guests are treated. In addition, all eight of our entrees were served within the same minute. I can't tell you how nice that is for a big party.
Great atmosphere. It still feels like an ild school bank, but the atmosphere still feels like anbuoscale restaurant without the pretense. Great staff skilled with the ability to know when to attend to patrons and when to give them space. Food is always delicious here. The bread is always very fresh and warm. I had the special: filet mignon with reduced mushroom sauce, steamed vegetables, and mashed potatoes. My apertizer was mushroom soup, and dessert was a tiramisu. I washed it all down with a nice glass of pinot. Yum! Enjoy.
Been passing by this restaurant for years until one day I found out they serve spaghetti meatballs. Did not need a reservation on a Friday 6pm dinner, just walked in. Plenty of seating, was entertained by the server right away. Spaghetti Meatball cravings satisfied, I must say! The Linguine Pesto is on the creamy side, I was expecting it to be more on the greens side than cream but it is very rich and good. Opt for extra chicken and sub Spaghetti instead of Linguine. The Tiramisu, perfect! This is my new Spag Meatball spot!
Foods and service are all nice! Push👍👍
Fantastic comes to mind! Delicious food and very good service. The added flavor from Abuela's Sweetheat Chili Crunch put everything over the top! 😋 😋 😋 @Friday_night_bites_209
5 stars for the food. Some of the best tasting Italian food I have had (Tortellini alla Michelangelo &Pollo marsala). The wines by the glass were good and reasonably priced too. The service was great, really attentive. The restaurant is an old bank building with vaulted ceilings and they have a private dining area in the back that is converted from the actual vault of the bank. The decor is a bit funky....it really doesn't feel like an Italian restaurant but rather almost like a Circque du Soleil Vegas show. But hey, the experience was fun and other might like it.
This is a spectacular old bank building now serves high quality Italian restaurant with reasonable price. Owner John Akkaya who has been pioneer restauranteur for 30+ years. Everything is excellent especially pasta dishes.

We LOVE Andiamo in Banca…atmosphere is great, food is consistently delicious, but the service is incomparable! Memet has been our server for 2 years now! We feel like family!
I ordered the Fettuccine Alla Adriatica. It was really good. The dish was full of rock shrimp and perfectly cooked scallops. The sun dried tomatoes added a light sweet & fruity flavor to the dish. I took my food to go, however the atmosphere was nice and quiet. It seems like a wonderful place to have a intimate dinner with your spouse or a small group dinner with friends. I'm looking forward to going back and trying other dishes. Thank you chef.

As someone who regularly scouts standout venues for executive dinners and team celebrations, I’m always on the lookout for places that strike the right balance of quality, atmosphere, and service. Andiamo In Banca delivers on all fronts. The cuisine is exceptional, authentic Italian made with fresh, seasonal ingredients, and the wine list is one of the strongest in South San Francisco. The setting feels elevated yet inviting, and the service is consistently top-tier. It’s already on my shortlist for upcoming team engagements such as our annual Holiday party, a truly dependable spot for both professional and personal occasions!
Pretty good Italian restaurant. I’m a huge flavor profile person and for an Italian restaurant they were pretty good. Tried their calamari fritters, Brussel sprouts appetizer, garlic shrimp entree and chocolate lava cake. Eve thing tasted great. The tiger prawns were fresh and perfectly cooked in the white wine garlic sauce. Mashed potatoes that they served were delicious too. Their chocolate lava cake with the raspberry jam and ice cream was amazing, this was the highlight for me. Since we were a big group we sat in the vault as this was previously a bank. So apart from the vault ambiance it was a good experience. The service is really good too.
Italian in an old converted bank building across street from the hidden spot burger place. Very good service and reasonably priced food. The Salmon Piccata was good but the hanger steak medium rare was melt in your mouth excellent! The RYE RYE cocktail was interesting but seems like most were going with the red wine of which they have a good selection.
Elegant restaurant (probably was a bank in a previous life) with very good homemade dishes. My garden salad was very enjoyable with very good flavors and fresh vegetables. The ricotta ravioli in marinara sauce were delicate and melted in your mouth. The service was very good and attentive. There is a full bar and cocktails. My only complaint was the pour on my glass of wine, which was half the size of a normal one.

The food is delicious and served piping hot, not allowed to sit and get cold like some other places. The servers are attentive and very busy. We loved that the restaurant is in an old bank so s6 to the house to ujh,We drove around the area twice before finding parking, so allow extra time for that and walking, especially if you have reservations.
