My favorite Mexican Food truck. Everything deicious and I always come by whenever I have a craving for authentic tacos and burritos. The owner is also a pretty nice guy and really cares about his business. The Taco Tuesday deals have also expanded to include birria, shrimp, adobada and fish
Great location, the food is delicious. I recommend the tacos de camarón enchilado, aguachirle, oysters and the clamatos. Good service, everybody is really nice and gave me my food very quickly. I feel right at home.

This food truck has wonderful fish tacos and the folks running it are very kind and generous people. The food is a larger portion than I expected and very fresh and flavorful. Can't wait to go back! Only down side is location is outside by a freeway; these people deserve their own restaurant!😉♥️
Update: The management seems to really to care about their business and their customers after all. Thanks the prompt response to my concerns. I gave the food truck a try and I'm glad I did. It was not very busy when I arrived so there were only a couple of people ahead of me. I was giving my order within 5 minutes and offered Consume - delicious! Probably waited another 10 minutes for my fish burrito. They offered either fried or grilled. I got the fried one this time. The wait was okay for me since they make everything fresh. I got it to go and ate it while driving. What I was impressed with was they automatically cut it half even though I forgot to ask them to that. It was also on a disposable tray and also wrapped with saran to keep it hot. Most taco shops don't do all of that, but it was a nice touch since I only ate half and had the wrapping already so I could eat the other half later or throw it in the fridge. Now, the taste and texture was amazing. Perfect crunch from the fried fish and purple onions. The burrito needed nothing added for my tastes and the fish was buttery and fresh. Just the right level of kick for me but if you are a spicy fan they had at least 10-15 bottles of hot sauce available along with the cups they put in the bag. There were comfortable seats and tables outside the truck which under a couple of tents, so it's nice and shaded, lights at night, etc. I'll definitely be back because I'm in the area a lot.
This place is legit, the food is great. Ordered the fish, octopus, and surf and turf tacos. Octopus is hard to cook but these tacos were fire 🔥 😋. The fish tacos were delicious as well. We went in the evening time which is nice. The price is worth it, they're not stingy with the servings.
This has been my new taco Tuesday spot for the last couple weeks. My kids and I get fish and shrimp tacos and we're all stuffed for only about 15 bucks! Everyone is super nice and my son also the love the adoba tacos which are 2 for the price of one on Tuesday nights. The habanero salsa is super tasty too.
The food is amazing! Everyone is friendly too. Great place to meet up with friends and enjoy a meal under the easy ups.

Food took some time to come out but everything was really good! Recommend everything. We got quesabirrias, cocktail de camaron, a fish taco, taco arrachera, and a quesadilla con carne asada.

pricey like everything in SD, but 👍
This place is interesting because they have a food truck for the seafood and a separate trailer for the land protein tacos, not that there's anything wrong with that. I had a pair of carne asada tacos and a pair of all pastor tacos. The tacos were good and I appreciated that they doubled up on the corn tortillas for each taco and offered a good amount of protein on each. The al pastor was tender and crispy with a good flavor. The salsa cremosa Verde on top of each taco was good, but was a little heavy on the sourness. The carne asada offered that good smokiness from the mesquite grills. The meat was lightly seasoned and tender. There were several pieces that had gristle on them that I removed. The carne asada tacos came with a very good amount of tasty guacamole. They offer a salsa bar filled with a variety of salsas, sliced cucumbers and radishes, and limes. The hot sauces and salsas were very good. There is plenty of covered seating available. The service was friendly. The fish tacos must be very good because a lot of people were getting them out of the seafood food truck. Next time.
The food is great but the service varies, same as the prices. I typically order the same one or two items and the cost changes depending on who takes me order. I am often skipped over in line to take what I really hope is friends and family orders otherwise it is rude. I don’t speak Spanish so I have given up on phoning in my order since they only speak in Spanish and will leave you on hold for over 20 minutes if they even bother taking the call at all.

Food wasn’t bad but when I got there they didn’t even acknowledge me, they starting counting money or changing cashier or something and I was just standing there awkwardly. Second… either prices are Not accurate AT ALL or they just ripped me off? One fish taco and a fish tostada with a can soda and strawberry water for $19? Receipt doesn’t show so I can’t tell at all but left me thinking the whole ride home how does that add up?
Ordered 4 carne asada tacos 🌮 — 2 with avocado and onion, and the others plain. One taco was wrong: I asked for a plain taco for my kids, but it came with everything on it. When I pointed it out, they asked me to give the taco back to exchange it for a plain one. Disappointing service. The taquero should be more humble.

The prices are not visible on their menu. I ordered aguachile from here, and since I don't speak Spanish, I was told it was $30.00. I asked if he meant to say $30.00, and he said yes, so I said I really hope this is a big plate of food because the restaurants in the area don't charge that much. I paid the money, thinking it was going to be a huge platter that would be worth it. I walked away and proceeded to take pictures of the menu and area, which I normally do as a reviewer. After I finished taking pictures, another man called me back to say they overcharged me $10.00, and he gave me a 10 dollar bill. The food was mediocre and not even worth the $20.00 I paid. I will definitely not recommend this place or go back. I believe prices should be set and everyone should pay the same price.
I thought I ordered a birria quesadilla which was a small corn tortilla size taco. we also ordered 3 beef tacos same size as the small corn tortilla street taco style and it was $30 bucks. Made my husband sick to his stomach 20 minutes later. Super shady place. Don't do it. Nice workers, bad business.
Ordered food it was disgusting, place is dirty, workers are extremely rude. Workers don’t wear gloves to handle food. Tacos were cold meat was nasty burned. The service is horrible I don’t know how this place is still open. Health department should come close this place down. Never again will I eat there or recommend this place to anyone.. rats crawling under food truck. HEALTH DEPT ALERT!!
The taqueria is very friendly , but the food is not really good , the arrachera plate is just carne asada not real arrachera.
Beware 0f Being Over Charged! Been here 12 times and 9 times the prices and total didn't match. Even with the advertised $4 two adobada tacos and the $1.25 fish taco, I was Charged $2 more. Just was too tired and hungry to dispute the prices. I ordered the same thing a week ago and the price was different. Besides that, the taquero is always nice and friendly. Tacos are good size and made proper 👌😋. They don't have prices marked for anything and every time I'm there someone is always disputing the amount being charged with the cashier. The only time I've been charged correctly is if I only order two adobada tacos on taco Tuesday special. If I order 4, price total will be different. I would actually go there more if only they don't cheat on their customers 🙄😒 Update: Dear owner, I gave a review as I experienced my 12 visits. I was over charged many times and it seems you're more upset about my review than me getting charged more money. I try to go there because I'm hungry not because I want to argue about the total I get charged. Even if the fish tacos are 25 cents more, I was still over charged. This issue happens a lot because you don't post prices. 😒 I still had plans on returning but I see you refuse to see the problem that many other's also experience, so I rather go somewhere else where I won't be over charged. Maybe you should remove the sign that says $1.25 fish tacos and post prices at the menu. I hope your customers pay attention when they order or they will pay more.
I haven’t ate all day until I pulled up to this place for the first time & I had to wait for my Oder of two “large birria tacos” plus 1 fish taco for +50minuts while everyone who came after I ordered started getting there food before myself & my mother, I asked them to give it to me to go because of the wait & not until I got home I realized they gave me 2 small birria tacos!!! With the overwhelming charge of $20
They use low fat cheese from Costco, which is cheaper the regular cheese for Carne Asada fries. I paid $20. The cheese didn’t even melt. Low fat cheese they should use regular cheese costs a little more but for what they charge $20 for the fries it’s not worth it. Low-fat cheese is gross.
Today I visited La Moerña Mariscos, hoping to enjoy their hamburgers or TJ tacos shows in their signs . Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing, and I didn't even get to order any food. Upon arriving, I went to the taco cart and was directed to the food truck to place my order. There was one person ahead of me, engaged in a lively conversation with the young lady taking orders. While I understand and respect the camaraderie among native speakers, it became apparent that if you weren't part of their group, you were practically invisible. As I waited, one of the cooks bumped into me while dragging a trash can, yet apologized to a nearby Mexican gentleman instead of me. I brushed it off and continued waiting. On his way back, the same cook stood in front of me, waiting for me to move without saying "excuse me" or "con permiso." He literally just stood there scowling at me. After the previous customers finished ordering, an employee from the kitchen stepped out and cut in front of me to ask about his tacos, ignoring my presence entirely. I completely understand that he works there and is likely waiting on his lunch, but for he did not say anything at all....wow. The young lady assisting him didn't acknowledge me either, despite it being my turn. Additionally, another staff member handed out complimentary consomme to the Mexican patrons in line but did not offer me any. The final straw was when the same young lady took an order from a woman behind me in line, completely bypassing me. She asked her what kind of tacos she wanted, the woman responded saying she wanted 'pescado' .Feeling utterly disrespected and ignored, I decided to just leave. This is not about misunderstanding cultural nuances; it's about basic customer service and respect. I grew up in San Diego and have witnessed cultural shifts, but exclusionary practices like these are unacceptable. Often, businesses will respond to such reviews by dismissing or gaslighting customers, suggesting that their experiences are invalid or misinterpreted. I assure you, this was not a case of misunderstanding—it was a clear lack of courtesy and respect.
I went there to buy some fish tacos and the lady said they were two for four 4 dollars however she also said when I first got there that the cost was 3.75 a piece so anyways she never gave me fish she gave me adobada meat which I never asked for or mentioned then I asked her for hot sauce and she handed me plastic sandwich baggies and pointed me over to a vat of salsa that was sitting out in the open for any bugs or flies to go into no covering or anything so I didn't take any salsa and then I took a look at the other reviews and apparently they like to overcharge people I saw numerous complaints about them overcharging people because they have none of their prices listed on the menu so they are always charging different prices depending on who's working which is not okay also getting orders wrong and now they're acting on the phone like they don't know what I'm talking about even though I was there 5 minutes ago... The El pastor tacos they gave me instead of the fish tacos I asked for are probably like a $1.50 a piece TJ Street Tacos, they were tiny, the receipt said everything on them and I only got the onions and cilantro which were not very fresh looking and I ordered six of them along with one $2 Coca-Cola and they charged me $24 for the tacos that I was told cost 2 for $4 so I called them and the guy told me that they only do $2 fish tacos on Tuesday so why did the lady tell me they were 2 for $4 I don't speak fluent Spanish but I understand enough to understand whether or not she was talking about fish or some other type of meat so if she didn't understand what I was saying why would she just guess as to what I wanted instead of getting somebody to make sure she acted like she understood everything I said so🤷
