Fantastic food and friendly service. Been here a couple times now. First was hibachi which was delicious and our chef was friendly and entertaining. Second was just dine in for sushi which was amazing. This will be our go to hibachi/sushi place. In addition, anyone complaining in any other reviews about price obviously does not eat at many nice hibachi or sushi restaurants. This place isn't McDonald's. The prices are completely within reason and comparable to any other decent hibachi place.

Had an absolutely sizzling experience at Shogun! The teppanyaki chef was not only a maestro with his culinary performance but also a great entertainer. He had us captivated with his skillful display—flames and all. The seat timing was spot-on, no unnecessary waiting. Service was attentive and prompt, keeping up with the bustling vibe. The food? Simply delightful. Each dish was cooked to perfection right before our eyes, boasting flavors that danced on the palate. The cleanliness of the place didn't go unnoticed either; it was as spotless as the service was seamless. The only hiccup? The drinks. They could use a little mixology magic to match the high bar set by the food and service. But all in all, Shogun delivers a fiery feast for the senses. Will definitely return for more!

Shogun Hibachi Grill provided an absolutely delightful and entertaining experience! It's a spectacular showcase for a meal, and the food was consistently delicious. This location is fantastic for large dinner groups; we brought a big party, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food, the atmosphere, and the drinks. The service handled our large party seamlessly. We had a wonderful night out, and I would definitely return and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a fun, flavorful group dinner!

Food was good except the “ginger salad” does not have any ginger in it. The dressing is essentially watery mayonnaise. The booth seating is far from the fixed tables and one booth is backed against a work station with their phone which when ringing is disturbing. Another booth was near the ac vent blowing a little too strong… nearby decorative plants were blowing like they were outside in heavy winds.

Sushi was pretty good. Shaggy dog never misses! Philly rolls were okay. Hibachi steak bento box was delicious! Steak were cook to perfection. Sashimi plate was okay not the best I’ve had by okay. Miso onion soup was delicious and refreshing.

We had the chicken, lobster, steak and shrimp combo with fried rice. It comes with soup and salad. Our servers were attentive and friendly. Our Chef did thing entertaining and chopping it up. I gave 4 stars because I I had to use more than usual soy sauce to get the flavor right on my meat.

I placed a pick up order over the phone and was told it would only be a 10-15 minute wait for pickup. My order included shrimp fried rice and gyoza. I arrived within the time frame given, and my order was ready to go.. Both of the items appeared fresh, the shrimp fried rice was flavorful and had a good portion of shrimp, I wasn’t too thrilled about the gyoza as the texture was a bit gummy. Overall it was an average experience.

I’m a K-BBQ lover. I have tried many K-BBQ in the Houston area & outskirts( SPRING). Drove by this place one day and decided to try it today. Their K-BBQ is not worth its price. They have no lunch special. It’s $28.99 for regular, it’s $37 dollars for deluxe. Most k-bbq places offer lunch/dinner specials for all you can eat. This place is not worth the $28.99, their menu for KBBQ is limited!!! There isn’t much to choose from. They don’t offer kimchi, spicy cucumbers, glass noodles, etc for the sides which most KBBQ places do. Out of all K-BBQ places, this place didn’t offer much but it was the most expensive one I have been to. Other customers came in and they got their food before I did, considering I’m ordering raw meats that I have to cook. My service was a bit slow compared to the others… I don’t know what that was about. I came in at lunch time. There were 2 other customers inside besides myself. I tip based on my service. It took a while for me to get raw meat, the others had their food first, even though they came in after me… the food was okay. The garlic chicken just tasted like chicken… no garlic. This place may be good for its other menu items but the K-BBQ needs more variety if they want to charge $28.99+ for all you can eat.

I only write bad reviews if a mistake happens and they don’t handle it well .. so here we go .There was hair in my sushi I had a Togo order so I called and told them , they told me to drive back so they can remake or give me my money back , while also looking at the sushi to verify if there was har like I would lie after ordering several items. I told them I didn’t want another sushi just my money back. I still had to drive back , then the old lady had an attitude and handed me my money and walked off without a sorry or anything, just a nasty attitude. I got other things besides the sushi and it was all very basic , the place is typically pretty empty and you can def find better , baos next to heb is pretty good. I’ll never come back here! Mistakes will always happen but it’s about how the company handles them.

Truly the most disgusting meal of my life. I ordered the Chasu Ramen and was greeted with gas station quality eggs, cheap noodles that took up 95% of the plate, tiny rubbery chasu, and broth that tasted like instant ramen. Truly the most abysmall meal of my life that I could not stomach to finish. And I grew up poor and able to eat a boot if cooked and seasoned well enough. Do not waste one single dollar here.

DON'T EAT THERE! I wouldn't give this place a point of a star! We ate there tonight, probably the worst decision ever. Took 10 min for our waitress to welcome us and take our drink order, mind you she was higher than a kite, and just looked at you trying to comprehend what you were saying, another 10 to bring our drinks, started to order our food, she is still on cloud nine! Took a sip of our teas and guess what they were sour, another 10 goes by, by she comes back then she moved us to a different table because the grill didnt work, we sit at our new spot, had to flag the manager down to get different drinks, he brings us tea again its still sour. Waitress comes back laughing do yall need anything else. Um yes we do our food we first ordered we haven't gotten and she said oh yeah, by that time I told my husband I'm not even hungry and want to leave, then here comes the air conditioner tornado wind, I'm freezing, little miss red eyes comes back and I ask her if they can turn the ac up. Mind you everyone on that side was cold, they never turned it down.. Definitely more to this crazy dine in experience.. The service is horrible, food was horrible! Do Better Shogun! $140 for trash food and a comedy show! Ps table salt doesn't go on Edamame!!!

We haven't been back for over a year since our yongest son got burned from hot oil from the hibachi chef and I got slight food poisoning from the shrimp due to my allergies that we did tell them about. But, we really wanted to try this restaurant again. Huge mistake!! The waiter was horrible couldn't understand a word i was saying to him at all. When I ordered i tried 3 times to explain our order and it was still wrong. Brought out food I didn't order. Did double my order when I clearly said my husband and I were sharing. Charged me for his mess ups. And then he even added gratuity of 18% to my check even though there were only 3 people eating. I tried to talk to the manager but her response was if we wanted free ice cream..completely unbelievable. I have worked in the service industry for overc20 years and this was highly disappointing.
