My two friends and I came here for brunch on this past Sunday and we had a great experience. The wait for inside was only 20 minutes but we decided it wasn’t too hot and were seated immediately outside on the patio. They had fans with misters which really helped cool down the area as well so it was very enjoyable. Mike was our server and he was amazing, so very kind, attentive, and patient. Our drinks and food came out quickly and they were all very delicious! Thank you Mike and Toasted Yolk for a great experience! Keep up the great work.

Daniella deserves a raise. She was attentive and hospitable. Love her smile. We were greeted immediately from I believe the manager, hostess and our waitress. Employees seem to enjoy their job. They were pleasant and friendly. I believe it is because of the manager running the floor. Great customer service. Will definitely come every Sunday for breakfast.

The food looked incredible and tasted absolutely delicious! The portions were generous, and our waiter was punctual with everything, from our drinks to our meals. They took great care of us. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We needed a large table, and we were glad they didn’t separate us like some restaurants do. There were no complaints here. Everyone tried something new, and we’ll definitely be back to visit again.

Such a great spot to grab a scrumptious and unique bite to eat with friends, family or for a non-formal business meeting. The atmosphere is casual, but upscale - if that makes sense. The wait staff is excellent and professional, while still be fun & friendly. My server, Michael, was awesome!!! Super attentive, helpful with the menu - which is an adventure in and of itself! - and right there to help and check in throughout the meal without ever having to even look for him. I could overhear him at other times and other tables with the same bright, cheerful attentiveness. Top-notch service! Now the menu!!! Omgoodness…so fun to choose from! They have a variety of Eggs Benedict options! I can’t recall the names, but there’s a salmon, fried chicken, traditional and one other that I can’t recall. Super yummy and huge, fresh salad options. Sandwiches galore - club, cali club, Reuben, chicken…you name it! The breakfast options are incredible and I simply can’t wait to come back and try some of the other amazing dishes! I went with the hot chicken and waffles - to die for! The waffles have diced jalapeno & cheddar cheese mixed in! The chicken was fried perfectly with an incredible light, crispy batter! Drizzles with hot honey - YES, PLEASE! The hash brown casserole is scrumptious!!! The syrup they brought to the table was hot! Such a nice touch! We will be back very soon!!!

1/11/2025 (update)-visited again today. There was a 30 min wait but I was craving the chicken n waffles. So worth the wait! Our server Mychael (Mike) was a delight! Absolutely fantastic service always had a smile so full of energy and very attentive. Never rushed us. Thank you Mike for taking such good care of us! Food came out pretty quick and tasted superb. Always great service and yummy food. We tried the seasonal menu item chicken n waffle and it was full of flavor and the jalapenos added the spice kick. French toast was very filing. Service is always good.

Great Breakfast Spot for Business or Catching Up! The Toasty Yolk Café in Spring, Texas is conveniently located right off 99 with plenty of parking—always a plus! What I loved most about this spot was how easy it was to settle in and enjoy a relaxing breakfast while connecting with a friend. We even managed to discuss potential collaborations, and I ended up securing a gig, so now I’m calling Toasty Yolk my new go-to spot for casual business discussions! Now, onto the food! I’m a big fan of green tea, and their tea is fantastic. It’s not your typical tea bag, but rather real green tea leaves that brew perfectly. The server brought extra honey and water without me having to ask, which made my experience so much more enjoyable. The refills were timely, and I was able to sip and relax without interruption—definitely a plus, plus, plus in my book. For breakfast, I had the French toast—crispy and delicious, with the perfect crunch. The hash brown casserole was flavorful, and I loved that they offered real shell eggs—a rare find these days. It’s the little things that make a big difference! However, the sausages were a bit of a letdown for me. They tasted like frozen patties, which wasn’t what I was expecting from a place like this. They were still good, just not the fresh-cooked kind you’d find at other breakfast spots. The atmosphere was lovely—quiet, cozy, and perfect for conversation, even though it was busy. Our server was friendly and patient, allowing us to catch up without feeling rushed. The booths were very comfortable, making it easy to settle in for a while. While I didn’t think to ask at the time, I did notice they don’t offer warm syrup, which is something I’ve gotten used to at other places, but it didn’t take away from the experience. There’s also a bar area for those dining solo or looking to meet new people, which is a nice touch. We love to come here for breakfast. The meals are always on point and very filling. The staff is very friendly and constantly checking on us. You can order meals with changes to meet your preferences and they make it easy for you. 02/01/2024 Last week we had Ginger as a server, always smiling and kind. Also, she was specially attentive and sweet to an elder couple sitting in a table next to us. Another reason to keep coming back.

So happy they upgraded the outdoor patio to a metal overhang instead of the canvas umbrellas, it was so pleasant to sit outside! The food is very reasonably priced and very good! It was filling. I ordered the brisket scramble with grits and the queso on the side so I could take it to go. I made myself a little biscuit sandwich with the egg and brisket and it was so good! My husband ordered the 2 egg breakfast deluxe- 2 sausage patties, eggs (cooked medium but they were very runny), and hash brown casserole with a side of gravy. We were both happy with our meals!

I order a regular eggs benedict which here they call the classic arnold (I loved the twist on the names). I absolutely love eggs benedict and this one just wasn’t hitting the spot. I thought that the hollandaise sauce didn’t have as much zest as I am used to. The hash brown casserole that was my side was cheesy and delicious but I thought it lacked flavor. I ordered a coffee to drink and I couldn’t even finish it (which is saying a lot for me), even with flavored creamer in it, the coffee tasted burnt and that was all I could taste. Mark ordered a breakfast burrito. He said as a whole it was very delicious. A few things he would have changed would have been to make the potatoes crispier and to have less onions. He said they overpowered any other flavor the burrito had. A few positives of our visit were the food came out about 10 minutes after we ordered which seemed fairly quick. They also offer military discount which for active duty and veterans can be a great perk!

Lunch was plentiful, tasty, and served quick. Our server met our needs with a smile. Chicken soup was unexpectedly spicy and would not have been ordered had we known that. Hot tea is $3.99 per cup, no refills (that's a bit much, y'all, when a box costs the same and serves about 20 cups). It's hard to believe that a weekday lunch now costs upward of $20 per person (not including the tip). I probably won't be back for some time due to the cost. Overall, a good place to go for a special treat.

The food is just mediocre. I asked the waitress if the hash browns were just regular hash browns or had stuff in them because it said hash brown casserole. She said no it’s just hash browns. I get them and it has cheese and crap in them. I just feel this food is bottom line. It’s just not very good. Preprepared food made by some manufacturer and extremely loud in the restaurant. I want to love this place but just can’t do it.

The food was great. However, I did have a concern regarding the restroom situation. There was a unisex restroom in use by two men at the time, which made me feel uncomfortable as a woman and a mom of young kids. I exited immediately, and one of the gentlemen informed me that another man was still inside with an open stall and no privacy. This experience made me feel uneasy and is something I believe should be addressed.

First, my server, Sylvia was absolutely amazing. The food however, is subpar. I ordered a veggie omelette. My daughter ordered eggs Benedict. The menu has a forced theme of Tex-Mex. Luckily, I ordered the queso on the side otherwise my veggie omelette, which was not an omelette. it was a scramble would have been drenched in cheese. My daughter’s eggs Benedict was cold and the food overall just didn’t taste good. I had the option of hash browns, which,Had the consistency of risotto or grits. Neither of those pair well with a veggie omelette drenched in queso with a biscuit as my bread option they taught homemade biscuits, but the biscuits were nothing to write home about. I think the most painful part of this experience was that those two breakfast meals a cup of coffee and a Coke came up to $45 which is absolutely ridiculous for breakfast

This is my second visit in the past month and unfortunately, the service and food quality have not been consistent. On this visit, I encountered several issues: Food Quality: The pancake was dry, and the bacon looked unappealing, as if it had been sliced off the pig and served directly. Cleanliness: The bathroom needed attention, and there was a lack of cleanliness throughout the dining area. Service: Servers seemed overwhelmed and were given no apparent help from the management. I observed three managers in black shirts simply standing around doing nothing while the servers struggled. Beverages: The Caramel Mocchiato tasted more like water and sugar, lacking the rich flavor I've come to expect. Management Response: When I brought these issues to the attention of the manager/GM, they responded in a passive-aggressive manner. I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously. I understand that days can be busy, but the lack of attention to detail and the decline in standards were noticeable and disappointing. I would appreciate it if you could look into these issues and take appropriate action to improve the overall dining experience.
