This was my first time eating at Perry’s and I was so impressed. There is a dress code, so be prepared for that. I didn’t know and they asked me to turn my backwards baseball cap forward - no big deal. The service was great, beautiful restaurant, and the food was so amazing. The filet was so flavorful and tender - out of this world. The corn brûlée was a surprise - so delicious! Can’t wait to go back!
My wife and I went to Perry’s and sat at the bar Friday night. The place was packed and the atmosphere was fun. Service was good and the food was great. Self Parking can be a pain but they have valet which is only $6 and the crew is fast.
Our go to place for celebrations! This trip included the chop and the 10oz Ribeye. The pear and greens salad and wedge-Superb! The service was excellent, friendly and kind. Shayna was outstanding. The others that brought items to the table and helped out were also wonderful. In our exit we had left our card behind, but a quick phone call to the manager confirmed for an easy pickup later.
We went for a business dinner and it did not disappoint. We started with cocktails in the bar area. The service was quick and attentive. They served us bread to start and the cocktails were well made. I had a vodka dirty martini with blue cheese olives. Perfect! For dinner we did the seafood tower and the Signature Steakhouse Smorgasbord. The steaks were delicious and the porkchop was amazing. Paired with several delicious sides. I would definitely recommend a visit.
We visited this steakhouse as a family of seven, including children, and had a truly great experience. The food was excellent — very high-quality ingredients, perfectly prepared, and definitely among the best we’ve had in a while. The atmosphere is elegant and calm, clearly more suited for date nights or quiet dinners, but the staff handled our family group very well and made us feel welcome. The ambiance was perfect: stylish, cozy, and refined. The only downside is the price — everything is quite expensive. Still, considering the quality and overall experience, it felt worth it. A great place for a special occasion or a more intimate evening.
Perry's hasn't ever let me down when it comes to a great overall dining experience. The quality and presentation of the food and the service coupled along with the atmosphere will always have me coming back. The mixed drinks and wine selection I believe will satisfy anyone who partakes. They also have non-alcohol beverages as well. There's a lounge area and a main dining room.
Jackie was phenomenal!! I came here a little over a month ago with my family to experience the social hour. Jackie was so kind and pleasant toward us. Very professional and the right amount of service and attentiveness. I came in today and she’s still the same. We enjoyed some bar bites and the new flight. It was all delicious, but Jackie definitely made the experience 1000x better.
If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Sugar Land, Perry’s Steakhouse is the place to be! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. First, I have to highlight Lauren, the manager. She was absolutely phenomenal – warm, attentive, and made us feel like VIPs the entire evening. She went above and beyond to ensure our table had the perfect experience, checking in at just the right moments and genuinely caring about our visit. You can tell she truly embodies what great hospitality should be. Our server, Michelle, was equally amazing. She was knowledgeable about the menu, gave spot-on recommendations, and anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Her service was seamless – friendly, professional, and perfectly timed. It made the whole dinner feel effortless and elevated. And of course, the food… wow. Every course was cooked to perfection – the steaks were buttery and flavorful, the sides were rich and indulgent, and the dessert was the perfect finale. Perry’s delivers that classic, upscale steakhouse experience but with an added warmth thanks to people like Lauren and Michelle. I can’t recommend this location enough. If you want not just a great meal but a memorable evening, ask for Michelle as your server and know that with Lauren leading the team, you’re in the best hands. Truly a 10/10 experience!
I had not been here in a while, I have been going to the Katy location but I met some friends here for dinner and drinks and I was very pleased with my experience. It looks like they have moved things around a little from how I remember the restaurant to look inside a few years ago. The new ambiance feels more welcoming and not crowded. The lighting and noise were just right, with some subtle music in the back but not loud enough where you feel like you’re shouting. There was a secret menu for their 50th year celebration and it was amazing. A 3-course dinner for $44. Cannot beat that! The drinks were also amazing! I had the Bubbly Bubblè and it was really great.
We love LOVE LOVE the food here!!! On another point though I think that the music was too “pop” for my ideal eating experience at a fine-dining restaurant. When I sit at my table, taking in the mood, atmosphere, the smell of great food all over the place… I’m imagining live music (piano, violin, cello), not “pop” music being played loudly. So firstly, the food is worth the money. I would recommend a Michelin Star for the quality of the food. However, I believe live music would take it up another level.
Our first time (this past summer) was great, especially due to our lovely server. I wish I could remember her name so I could give a shout out. It was her first night on her own, and we were her first table. She took the time to explain the menu and ensured everyone knew my food allergies. It was pricey but totally worth it for impeccable service and food. Tonight was our second visit. The DH and I went in to celebrate our 2nd anniversary ❤️ Right off the bat, I knew we chose the right place as the hostess asked if we were celebrating anything special, and when seated our table was adorned with rose petals. Our waitress, Raydeen, greeted us warmly and mentioned our anniversary. She was incredibly attentive, jovial, and very calm under pressure (especially being a busy Friday night). The food was perfect and so tasty! Everything was cooked wonderfully--DH had steak and lobster, I had the chicken oscar (I highly recommend the mashed potatoes and steaks). It was a bit of a wait for our food as they were incredibly busy, but everything tasted so good I didn't care about the wait. We were pleasantly surprised to be offered a complimentary dessert due to our anniversary. It was a beautiful dark chocolate fudge cake and oh so good! It was so nice to be treated so well and to have the little touches. Thank you for making our special night even better. Highly recommend going to Perry's for any special occasion, date night, or even a random day where you want to splurge a bit.

Perry’s is a great Sugar Land option for “fine” dining. The food is acceptably tasty and well presented although the Mac & Cheese was rather dry. We ordered french onion soup which had a very nice crusty cheese top, but the soup itself lacked flavor, and the deep soup bowl with small entry made it somewhat difficult to use the spoon to savor the remaining 1/3. If you eat the bread, do so as soon as it is served warm - if you wait too long it cools and is not so tasty. I ordered the Cedar plank red fish which was nicely presented although somewhat dry and glazed with a honey sauce that is too sweet. The Chateaubriand and Prime Rib were cooked to our preference, and exceeded expectations as did the grilled asparagus and creamed spinach. The deserts received an honorable mention, but …. Nothing to be amazed by and the server also got the desserts wrong. We had a great time, although if seeking a truly fine dining experience there are plenty of other restaurants in Houston that may impress more.
I just got back from picking up my thanksgiving meal from Perry’s in sugar land. First of I would like to say I am pretty lenient when it comes to most things and I don’t want to complain on thanksgiving when there are people in the world without hot food but as you can see from the picture below this meal was not worth $60 after tax that I paid. 2 pieces of turkey and one scoop of mashed potatoes. I didn’t even get the pumpkin pie which is an extra $10. I get this was an individual sized meal but to charge $49 before tax for this is borderline highway robbery. The pictures and description were extremely deceiving. HEB smoked turkey heated up would’ve been a better option. What there was of the food did taste great however! Happy thanksgiving :) Update 12/10/25- updating my review to give 4 stars. General manager called and refunded me $20 for getting shorted on turkey. Was not expecting it so I appreciate the gesture and good customer service goes a long way. Will be going back for happy hours and pork chop.

I previously went to a different location and loved the ribeye but it was completely different here. It wasn't bad but it just wasn't near as good. It was also a little over cooked than Medium-Rare but it was decent. I wasn't impressed with the Lobster Bisque either but the asparagus, shrimp appetizer, and drinks were good. Service was a little slow but they were really nice. I would give it another try...
We go to this Perry's several times a year for birthdays or anniversary's and have always loved it. This time, we were a bit disappointed. We always get escargot. The escargot were so small, we questioned if there was any in there and they changed up the way they make them. Just not as good. I got the wedge salad with blue cheese dressing. The salad was so drenched in salad dressing and the wedge itself was smaller than the last few times I got it. I also always get the Chateaubriand. It comes with 3 different sauces and I haven't ever liked any of them so that was nothing new. I would prefer and wish they just had an au jus. Anyway I ordered it medium rare. One medallion was perfect, one was cooked a tad more but still good but the other one was cooked well. We love the atmosphere but just overall not as good as prior visits and left us a little bit disheartened.

Filet steak below average Crab cake above average Onion soup above average Corn brûlée above average From Louisiana visiting relatives probably won’t go back
The dining experience at Perry's Steakhouse left much to be desired. Despite the decent quality of the food, the atmosphere was marred by the rude behavior of the management, particularly the manager Lauren. Despite our reservation for a Saturday evening at 6 pm, it took over 30 minutes for us to get seated. This was disappointing considering we made the reservation ahead of time, and her approach came across as dismissive and not particularly welcoming, which set the tone for the evening. While the servers provided exceptional service, the overall experience was overshadowed by Lauren's demeanor. It’s disappointing when leadership does not reflect the level of hospitality expected from an establishment like this. Although other staff members were pleasant, the interaction with management left a negative impression. I hope there is improvement in how guest concerns are handled moving forward.
Very disappointing to go order for “holiday feast for 4”. The portions were much smaller than advertised. The “3 lb” prime rib came in at only 2 lb 11 oz, which is a noticeable difference - especially for a holiday meal that’s priced accordingly. The family-sized soup portion was also surprisingly small. On top of that, the packaging looked unimpressive and didn’t feel special or well-presented for a holiday offering. Overall, the portions were inadequate and the experience fell far below expectations. Unfortunately, not worth it for the price.

We went for our wedding anniversary on Feb15th night and i called in before to make a reservation and booked a table. The lady told on phone they will decorate the table as it is our special occasion.. After we reached Our table which we reserved was not ready and rhey gave us a random table at the entrance..! They gave one more option but that table is heavily surrounded by lot of people and my wife didnt like that one, so we switched back to the one near the entrance.. Nothing special even though its your anniversary..!! The server looks like very busy and we had a very bad customer experience..!! I asked for one dish and after sometime server came and said we ran out of that item..! Then i had to order another dish whoch is not that worth as the meat doesnt have any seasoning or flavor and same with the seafood dish my wife ordered..! They told desert is complimentary as it is our wedding anniversary but they still charged. I noticed the bill and the server adjusted the bill..! The cheesecake desert was pkay and there was no candle or something special..! I have been to this place before but never had this bad experience the one which we went for our wedding anniversary..! My wife was completely upset as her meal was flavorless and we didnt get the vibe of our wedding anniversary..! The sides which we ordered were very good and has flavor, bot our entrees doesnt have any flavor..! We ordered some seasoning as the food doesnt have any taste and they cahrged for the sauce as well..!! Definetely not going back anytime soon this location..!! Would like the manager to read this and reach back out..!! Regards, Aditya
