A very calm and cultural vibe place. Had enjoyed the atmosphere except the strong mixed smell of the food, which kinda decreased as time went by. Great service and very friendly staff. The food is good, based on your preference. The price is fair and the side dishes are coming at a very good price.

LongHorn Steakhouse offers great steaks and bread. Their lunch menu is a good deal, and the ribeye is particularly juicy and tender. The chowder is a light and flavorful soup.

I have been to this LongHorn Steakhouse several time in the last year and never had a bad steak or bad experience in general. The staff is always friendly, steak is always scrumptious, the side dishes are solid. My dish has always arrived within 15~ minutes of my ordering. The atmosphere is as Texas as Outback is Australian. So you will feel right at home. Also you will really appreciate the moderate price point. Bon appetite! October 1, 2023 - on my most recent visit, ordered the Renegade Sirloin, Medium. The steak presented was very tough, difficult to cut even with a steak knife. The temperature served was closer to well-done than medium. It was edible, but could have been prepared with more care. December 2025- Had a nice ribeye steak that was grilled exactly to order, the renegade sirloin was also decent according to my fellow diner. We arrived around five o’clock in the evening and enjoyed great service from Autumn. 5:00pm is an excellent time to visit if you prefer a less crowded environment.

I ask for a medium fillet steak, which was explained to be a warm red center. My steak arrived completely cooked through or well done. Our server never came back to the table to check on us, until she came back to refill my water, when I was one bite from finished; She asked then, how it was?.... I explained it was overdone...and very dry. She exclaimed, "Oh you should have said something!.... Well , she never came back & the one time I tried to get her attention, she ignored me.... The strawberry salad was okay, but not worth an extra up-charge 5.95 each to get it. I don't think we'll come back.

First time visiting this chain and probably the last one. I'll be sticking to Texas Roadhouse. The steaks were ok, nothing more than that, too salty and hot as you expecting to get out of the grill. I had rib eye and my daughter got New York steak.

I usually order the steaks which have always been good. I made the mistake of ordering chicken fried steak the last time I was there it was grizzly and mostly batter in about 30% grizzly meat. I think I'll stick with the steaks there. The waitresses have always been very good and it's very clean. I will continue to eat there but skip the chicken fried steak.

We love coming here! The food is always amazing but today our waitress was a bit rude at first. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt since it was Monday after noon. She made us feel unwelcome and gave us some evil stares from afar. As my son finished his meal I continued to order Togo for my grandmother in the hospital. She loved the fresh bread here! I ordered her the chicken fried chicken with Okra. The waitress came back with the bill fold as my son was still eating!!!! I asked her very kindly to please include a fresh loaf of bread for my grandmother and she agreed. She came back for the bill fold and asked if the cash was a tip?? I responded yes and that I would add more on the card provided. ( you would think waiters love cash tips ) she came back 5 minutes later with the Togo and we got up and left the establishment. Upon my grandmother dismay the fresh loaf was not in the bag. She had a huge craving for that warm loaf of bread and that whipped cream butter. This will be that last time we come to this location for sure, felt extremely prejudice and edgy maybe it's because on how we looked because of the strange stares. Any ways the food was mid the stake was bleeding in a medium rare we finished cooking it in the stove later that evening. That short haired blonde waitress at 3pm Monday did make our experience unpleasant! I regret giving her a $14 tip for sure

TLDR: Bad service, mediocre food, long waits. Avoid unless your family forces you! I went to Longhorn Steakhouse with family and what I expected to be a nice birthday lunch turned into an absolute disaster. It took over 30 minutes to get our drinks, another 45 for our food, and finally we had to ask for a waiter to get our checks. I arrived a little before noon and left at 2:15. The food itself is pretty mediocre. I had the chicken sandwich, which was breaded well, but they left off many of the listed ingredients of the sandwich (without me asking). Also they give you a measly amount of ranch which doesn't coat even the center of the sandwich. My wife had a burger, which came out over cooked and was not flavorful at all. She also got a Caesar which was also not good. Just too saucy but not in a good way We liked the fries though!

10 groups on wait list with 13 open and clean tables, and yes the table sizes were appropriate for the 10 group sizes- people would prefer to sit at a table instead of stand outside

Grilled Chicken - Kids menu: Picture is attached. What kind of presentation is this? Does this feed a 4 year old, let alone a 9 year old? No! We replaced it with the breaded chicken and it was a little better. We ordered a side of fries and they were super salty. Flo's Filet: horrible! It did NOT look like the picture on the menu. It was small and something that could come from a home skillet. Ribeye: Looked much better than the filet. But, this slice of meat was VERY fatty, fattier than a typical ribeye. Strive was good. Parking was easy. We will not be returning.

We came to your restaurant yesterday evening and have always been happy with everything but yesterday we called twice before we arrived to put our name on the list for a table for 15. We arrived and we're never seated. They gave us some story about not enough servers or something. There were lots of empty tables and lots of employees standing around doing nothing but they wouldn't set up tables for us We waited over an hour and finally left and went next door to BJ's and received excellent service. I was under the impression that if you called ahead and put your name on the list that when you arrived you would move up and be seated quickly. That did not happen yesterday and I'm sure you lost at least a $300 sale and maybe more. I'm forgiving but I won't forget.

I am not sure the waiter even gave her name but it took her forever to come take our order and when she did we never saw her again she passed by our table many times and even chatted with the people behind us for some time never once asked for a refill never asked if we needed desert or if our steaks were properly cooked which they were not. Both were cooked wrong. Usually have a nice experience here but she definitely ruined the night. The waiter next to us was serving over 10 people and they had better service than us and she seemed to have been behind on what tables she had which didn’t seem many as she was talking at the front as we left.

Went there for lunch today, service was not good at all. Sat for 5 minutes before server came, took a long time for me to get my meal. Finally got meal but no drink, Finally got tea. Food was delicious but service from server was slow, she was courteous, I had to stop one server for water instead of tea, because I needed to drink something to wash down my food. Took forever to get my to go meal. I normally do complain, but today was not Longhorns Steak House Best. I normally go to Slaughter Lane for lunch, but never again will I come back to this establishment.

I ordered chicken and wanted it crispy. I received my order and my chicken was still pink in on the inside. The waiter asked if I wanted it remade I said yes and by the time it came out again there was spots of blood on my plate. I've always heard good things about longhorn but from my experience I won't be returning and i still had to pay for my food.

I ordered two entrees for pickup at 5:40pm on Saturday, 11/1. My cube steak was hard, tough, plain tasting, and disgustingly overcooked - like a brick. My loaded baked potato came plain. I couldn’t eat much of my food and ended up throwing it away after a few bites. My husband wasn’t very impressed with his chicken fried steak. The order came out 20+ minutes late. Overall, 1/5. So disappointing! Maybe the place was understaffed but there’s no excuse for the quality of the food.

I ordered food to go which I chose two different steak entrees including the filet for my wife and ribeye for myself. When I got home the rib eye was subpar. Rubbery and just not great at all. I woke up with a stomach ache so that should tell you enough. The bread was not even warmed up or heated at all. I mean come on. Really?! This was on top of getting charged incorrectly which furthermore caused another 10min delay. I tipped the waitress $8 for handing me a bag when she deserved $3. I asked her for my $5 back for delaying me the 10min as she sorted out he incorrect payment with the manager and she didn't give me back the $5 just ignored it all together. It's not about the money but purely the principle. I'm very disappointed by the whole experience. I've lived in Austin for 25 years and it's unfortunate that I chose this place for dinner. Let me guess? Nobody will respond to this review. As a builder and local GC I work alongside hospitality staff in restaurants and bars and the service post this whole interaction was not good. I can spend money anywhere and I expect much more.
