Aztek has a great menu with some great different options. They have a nice little bar area in the back that serves up some refreshing micheladas. The staff are always great.

I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito and 2/3 of the way down was completely full of chorizo grease. I tilted the burrito and the grease came pouring out. Burrito was $15 and not worth it. I'm sure there are other options on the menu that are better.

The total reviews may be good overall but that is not the case for the food. The tacos are just ok nothing special. The place is ok to eat and hangout but if you’re looking for amazing tacos look elsewhere. Keep trying guys. 7$ for a fish taco and it looked more like a sampler. Not worth it even in 2025.

The first time I had Aztek Tacos was when they had a location near BJ's in Temecula. I used to go for Lunch since I worked at Food 4 Less. I don't quite remember what I ordered back then. Anyways, I came to this location to bring a friend and also have some tacos. I ordered 2 Carne Asada Tacos with Nopales and 2 Chicken Tacos with Light Sauce and few other veggies on top plus Cheese. I liked that the tortilla was handmade, the Tacos had too much meat for my liking so next time I will order it with less. My friend really liked the Tacos she ordered. She then ordered Chips. I am giving it 2 stars for the atmosphere because it felt hot inside, I am not sure if the AC was not working, but at least some regular fans would have been a temporary solution. Few more customers came after me. The counter gentleman was friendly with me, but a bit annoyed with my friend since she was having hard time deciding from the menu. I noticed lots of oil in the chips and even the to go bags my friend got, the next day the bag had oily spots of how much oil is used for those chips. I must mention that on the Tacos underneath I noticed oily/wet which causes the taco to feel a bit soggy. Maybe its that white paper being used that absorbs or maybe is too much oil/heat moist from when the taco is placed on the paper causing the taco to feel soggy.

The food is alright. It's just too expensive for what it is. The salsa bar is probably the most popular feature.

Flavor is good on the Carne Asada Burrito with quality meat, but they really skimp on the size for the price. $15 for a smallish Carne Asada burrito. Otherwise, clean and nice ambiance inside.

I was so disappointed!!! After looking at the reviews I really wanted to try the Cali burrito. On 11/18/25 around 1pm I ordered over the phone to pick-up. The burrito was ALL FRIES 😭. The little bit of meat I got was really tasty, but for $18 I felt ripped off. What a waste of money. Food is so expensive, at least provide a product that is worth the price.

I want to like this place. It looks like it’s legit but it’s overpriced. I ordered a taco and it was seven dollars for about a 4 inch taco with nothing on the side. It was a steak and shrimp and I’m not kidding you. It was a tortilla with an entire steak placed in the middle of it. When I asked them if that was a mistake, they said no it comes like that unless you ask us to chop it. I ended up just turning it back into them because I was so turned off at that point. How do they expect people to eat it? I also got a Baja style fish taco, which was just OK. Not even as good as Rubio‘s. I’m not sure what people see in this place by the other reviews, but I’m 43 years old, born and raised in Southern California so needless to say I’ve had my fair share of Mexican food and I can tell you that never once have I been served an entire steak on top of a tortilla. Bizarre.

Couldn't believe it, second time this month I go dine in and Steven the cashier, gets my order wrong. The first time he was on his phone, the second time he was too busy having a flirtatious conversation with a customer that was more important than taking my order. Great food but not great service.

I went to get. Couple burritos on a Saturday night. I went to the bar and asked for a menu. The waitress said the prices are wrong on the menu. I asked if they were higher and she said "no". I ordered 2 chili Verde burritos they were $8.95 on the menu. Witch were not the right price. I figured it would be maybe $5.00 more but wasn't told how much they would cost. When I got the bill it was $38.00 for 2 burritos. I didn't order anything else. I asked to talk to a manager and a Mexican guy who was a cook said he was the manager. He told me I should have asked how much it was before I ordered. I told him I shouldn't have to ask the price . If your menu is wrong fix it. He told me to bad that it was my fault I didn't ask. The burrito was horrible it was mostly beans and rice with a chilli relleno in the middle. I would say it was not worth the price. The chg for the burrito was over $15.00. I intend on seeing if I can speak to the owner with hopes of a better explanation on why his menu does not show the correct prices.... Very unacceptable. And very poor burrito. Will not recommend to anyone.

Last time I was there I waited over 30 to order and when finally got to the register the girl just told me it was going to take over 1 hr to get my food, Food its good but if I have to wait that long for a fast food restaurant to get my food I will never go back plus why make me wait for 30 minutes to tell me that she could tell everyone on the line so we can make a decision. At that point Pollo loco down the street was a better option, now im a customer of Taco bar good food better service and more efficient.

You guys are making a GRAVE MISTAKE! This place used to cook everything scratch and assemble your food. They’re pulling precooked meat out of the fridge, and god knows whatever else, and reheating it on the flat top and serving it to you. I mean this with ALL LOVE but if times are slow you have even more time to cook things even from scratch. What made people fall in love with this place was FRESHLY cooked and prepared food. And based off conversations I’ve had this reheating action has been happening for 5-6 weeks. Better to make everyone wait for excellently prepared food that they’ve fallen in love with than serve us a dud we can get anywhere else. Don’t keep doing this or you’ll be out of business in no time. This is harsh love reminding you guys that as it stands today your food I KNOW LONGER CRAVE. Slow? Cut staff. Don’t cut quality. Yes I said it. Ride the “slow storm” out and allow the business to survive for better times. Otherwise this will be the END. Love you guys but this hurt me more to write than it does for you to read. ❤️
