This was our first time here and the food was actually good. We ordered the grilled tilapia surf rice, beans, salad. Then my wife ordered catfish and shrimp basket with fries. We’re from California and she said the fries were better than In-N-Out Burger. We will be coming again!

My family and I have eaten here multiple times over the last couple of years. The food is always fresh and delicious. We've had the burgers, the fried catfish, and several of the grilled fish dishes. The dishes are all cooked fresh and in a timely manner. The service is friendly and the restaurant is clean. I definitely recommend Flying Burger for a fun, casual dining experience for everyone.

You never know what gems you'll find on a road trip. Mine led me to Texarkana and a delightful surprise: Flying Burger & Seafood. I admit, the name was a little unexpected, but the food? Absolutely memorable. I ordered the catfish, and it was fried to perfection, but the menu was a treasure trove. It was explained that the recipes have been in the family for 40 to 50 years. The homemade sauces, passed down through generations, were the real stars. You could taste the care in every bite. It’s safe to say, Flying Burger & Seafood is now a permanent fixture on my travel itinerary.

Second time eating here...fries beckoned to me! Arrived within an hour of closing with family of five. The service was quick and food was great. Fries...always get the fries. Staff was of course already cleaning up (that's a good thing) but were friendly and helpful as they started cleaning one of the soda fountain stations. Would eat here again.

Highly recommended.. the food is excellent.. seafood is always fresh and properly prepared. The greens are some of the best I've ever had. You can't go wrong with any of the menu items. Homemade cinnamon rolls and Blue Bell ice cream for dessert.. don't skip this joint

How the might have fallen…. We have previously only dined in the location in Magnolia. We were in Texarkana on Friday night and decided to stop in for supper. The employees were very interested in getting wrapped up for the night but didn’t seem overly interested in customers. We ordered fish and shrimp and the tilapia tacos. The shrimp were so small. The dish advertises fish filets but they actually use small fish strips. Two other strips doesn’t equal even one actual filet. Was pretty disappointing for this restaurant

None of the ladies working and preparing the food are wearing hair net or a cap! We had a blond hair in our shrimp basket and it’s very disappointing. The food was good till that point then we had to throw it out.

I stopped by there for lunch today, and when I walked in, there was only two customers inside, but every single table was dirty. I told the staff and she came out and wiped down two tables and then went back behind the counter. The rag she used was so dirty that it still left food particles all over the table she did wipe down. I had ordered a chicken sandwich combo, but the chicken was so flat and dry. I could hardly eat it or taste the chicken over the lettuce. I will not be eating here again.

Food was not good. I got the shrimp po boy and it had 6 small shrimp on it. The sauce on the po boy was very little and tasted bad. The fries looked like the leftover scraps. Waited 25 minutes for our food. The woman who took our order was rushed. The restaurant was clean but very bland. Thirty eight dollars for two small lunches plus the quality of the food was overpriced.

Food was okay not too bad but if you’re a person of color I’d advise you not to dine in and just do takeout. Being black myself I was stared at the whole time by old white people like I was an exotic animal, it made me feel very uncomfortable.

My food was really bad. So bad that I had to throw it away. Got the fish and chicken basket. The fish was cut thin and so overcooked that there was basically nothing but batter left. It tasted horribly muddy also. The chicken was cold and stringy. Ended up just dipping captains wafers in ranch dressing as my lunch and sacrificed my $13 to a lesson learned.

Bought 4 jumbo shrimp & 2 PC catfish combo basket 13.00+. Shrimps were ok but the fish portions were very SMALL. Tarter sauce was good tho. Fries outnumbered everything. I wasn't happy.
