My first time to a Brazilian steakhouse this place was awesome all the meat was cooked just right

We love Fogo. We have been to the Portland location many times. We were excited to see this one open. We went on a Saturday at 1:30. It was very busy, but the staff was very attentive and the restaurant was very clean. All the meats were perfectly cooked and we had a wonderful time.

Everything was great minus the fact we was seated near the door and they let about 30 people stand inside the door and wait instead of telling them they had to wait outside. People was waiting around our table and you had to walk through a crowd to return with your food.

Update: I want to update my original review because the management team at Fogo de Chão Tigard reached out immediately and truly took our concerns seriously. They made us feel heard, valued, and genuinely cared for. When we returned, the experience was completely different. The team was attentive, professional, and especially mindful of our baby. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and safe, which means everything as a parent. It’s clear they are committed to improving and delivering the standard Fogo experience. It was a soft opening, and you can absolutely see that they are putting in the work to refine everything. I’m really happy to have this location so close to home, and we will definitely be coming back.

Taja was such a great server. She was super kind, checked on us at all the right times, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. She had such a positive attitude and really made our night better. Thank you, Taja!

It was such a magical experience! Sarah was wonderful, patient, and incredibly accommodating getting everyone in. We also loved how attentive the servers were, especially Kelsy and Sebastian, they are our favorite! Even the support staff was excellent, Aiden did a great job ensuring our table was well-attended. The seafood tower was delicious, and I especially loved the lobster tail. We have had countless wonderful experiences at the Portland location (the staff there are wonderful) and are excited for future visits to your beautiful new Tigard location, which will definitely be a success, especially under Patrick's leadership. My sister & I will continue to spread the word about both locations. I can't wait to go back, I've been dreaming about the cheese bread, the crème brûlée & the brûlée cheesecake!

An amazing first day! I was welcomed by such wonderful people—starting with the manager, Bre, and the best servers, Kaitlyn and Patrisha. They made the experience feel warm, friendly, and memorable right from the start.

The salad bar is cramped and it’s awkward to navigate the flow of the salad line. That said, everything else here is amazing. We Had a group of 8 and Liviya was an absolute 10. Only a week into it and she is a pro. We will definitely be back soon!

Been to the one in Portland many times. I’m going to the one in Tigard soon. I really hope to have a good experience at the Tigard location. Update: Wow, experience was fantastic! I wasn’t disappointed at all. Service was excellent, they paid attention to all the small details. The waitresses took good care of my friend and I. I was really impressed with how often they came around with different cuts of steak, lamb, chicken, etc. I will definitely return again with friends and family! For those who are reading this post, I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you like your steak well done… The salad bar is a bit narrow and one way if it gets too crowded but what’s is the rush? You can stay there as long as you want to enjoy the all you can eat salad bar. There are a lot of cry babies putting negative reviews… If you think the Tigard location did poorly then go to Portland, it will be less crowded for my friends and I when we visit again. :D

Came here for a late Valentine’s Day dinner with my girlfriend and it was just amazing, our server Olivia was so nice and helped answer every question we had

First time at Fogo de Chão and it lived up to the reputation. Warm, welcoming atmosphere, attentive and friendly service, and consistently mind blowing flavors throughout the meal. Dessert was balanced and well done, not an afterthought. Definitely a place I’ll return to. Thank you Fogo de Chão, you have a fan for life.

Beautiful decor and the service far surpassed my expectations. Have been to Fogo before but this location had better quality cuts of savory meats and had more variety of options on their market table. So glad they opened one closer and at a much more convenient location. Make sure to come on an empty stomach. You will not be disappointed.

The service was top notch even during the busy dinner rush, the staff remained calm, attentive and friendly. The food was delicious with a variety of meats and options for everyone. Overall I had an amazing experience. I would definitely come again.

Wow, what a great experience! Friendly and attentive servers, always available and quick to bring service even though it was a very busy evening. Lively and sparkling atmosphere! The cuisine was amazing, from the steak to the sides to the cheesecake brulee. Definitely recommend!

The new location is absolutely exquisite. The staff incredibly friendly hilarious, and made Great drink drinks! We did not have a reservation however we only waited 10 to 15 minutes before we were seated and had steaks around our table shortly after sitting down. We were surprised when they said they no longer carried the mashed potatoes, but other than that, it was an exceptional experience at the Fogo de Chão! The valet parking for Fogo de Chão was also very kind and friendly!

The decor and atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The food was delicious and top notch quality with perfect presentation. Everyone was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Definitely we will return again soon.

We went on Valentine's day mid-afternoon and was excellent. The new location is gorgeous and the atmosphere was impeccable. We sat in a little cute corner, and we were offered caipirinhas on the cart which was amazing. The staff was great and we had a good time.

Everything was fire-roasted over an open flame with simple, perfect seasoning that let the high-quality meats shine. The sides, like garlic mashed potatoes and polenta, were pillowy perfection and complemented the meats beautifully. Service was top-notch throughout—our server kept everything flowing smoothly without ever making us feel rushed. We left stuffed, happy, and already planning our next visit. If you're a meat lover or want an epic all-you-can-eat feast with genuine Brazilian flair, Fogo de Chão is worth every penny. I so appreciate for everything like some beef drinks and service some people the staff “Liviya” she so The service was impressive. I had to wait quite a while for my ribeye steak, but she kept checking on my table. She was very attentive to us. There was a child at our table, and she even brought extra plates for my friend who was holding her baby. We will definitely come back to this restaurant.❤️

It's nice that they just opened another location in Bridgeport Mall. I feel like this location is slightly smaller than the one downtown, but has a nice layout to it. The salad bar also seems a little smaller, but maybe it's just me. I did notice that they had a couple of different things than the downtown location. They did offer a lamb picahana and a bsr cart person making caprihanas tableside if you wanted a drink. The food is consistent with the other location. We knew that one of our servers was new by the way he carved the meat out for us. Overall, pretty good experience and will come back.

The salad bar is the Achilles heel of this location. Extremely awkward one way flow, tends to get bogged down by people who appear to be discovering the concept of a self serve bar for the very first time. And it’s so narrow that you can t bypass the slow folks without an uncomfortable encounter. This has to be redone. There is no saving this salad bar layout. The downtown location has a much better salad bar flow/selection. Meats were fine, lots of medium to medium well cuts, though, and some pieces lacked flavor. Service was great. Drinks were refilled timely. All extras were delivered. Hostesses were excellent. I imagine after the new location issues are worked out, it will be as great as the downtown location. Will be back, but, please, re-do that salad bar asap. It will sink you. It’s that annoying.

Have been going to the downtown one for years and have always had great experience. This one you can just tell it’s new, the layout of the restaurant is kind of crowded and people seem to be running into each other. The salad bar area has no real flow to it and is very tight when trying to make your way around. Our waiter was nice but she lingered for longer than necessary after asking if we needed anything almost staring. She first asked if we had been there and we all said yes we go frequently. She then proceeded to tell us how it works and everything like it was our first time even though like I said we have been over 20 times and told her that. Maybe she had to go over it since they are new so I get it but definitely unnecessary for our group. We were seated at the first table behind the hostess area, this was an extremely busy area for people and employees they all huddled up there multiple times kind of surrounding us so it was kind of uncomfortable. The decor especially those pillows were a lot we had to ask for them to be removed because they took up the whole seat. The staff looked confused when we asked for them to be removed because the people on that side could not fit with it in the way. The meat servers were all super nice but you can tell they were learning how to cut and a couple kept asking do you want this piece take this piece even after saying that was enough. Some of the meat was overcooked or super dry as well something I’ve never seen experienced at the Portland location. I know I will be back maybe once they get the flow down a little more, you could just really tell everyone was new and learning so I don’t hold that against the employees but I hope they get there soon because they location is so much more convenient to come too.

We had a reservation for 1:45 pm and we're seated promptly inspited of the restaurant being packed. The service was efficient,friendly,prompt,and professional. As first time guests we ordered the salad bar. The selections were plentiful many quality items which to choose from. We also ordered desert- the creme brulee and Brazil coffee both were excellent. Fargo is a class act offering quality food & service for a reasonable price. We will definitely be regular diners and highly recommend a dining experience @ Fagode Chao. Please to have them in the Lake oswego neighborhood

We were seated within 5 minutes, the service started a little slow, but picked up after about 15 minutes. Building temperature was cold, our guests mentioned it to the server, and I noticed that the tables around us had their coats on all through the dinner. Food was as expected, meats are the star of this resturant, and the flavors are delicous. Server asked if there was any allergy restrictions.

The restaurant is beautiful intimate not loud. I believe that the staff are in training by other professionals but the professionals are too busy not fine tuning the details that make dinning here 5 stars. We were a party of four we didnt have a reservation but only waited 5 mins not bad at all. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. Our server was good but not great as we asked for additional items for sides that were extra. The server totally forgot to bring them out and had to be reminded. The meat that was served was delicious but we told our server before started that we didnt want any pork. The first 3 people that came to offer meat had all pork. Whats the point of our server asking us what we prefer If there is no communication. We would love to go back when it seems the staff are done with their training. Also some meat cutters were very rude which was unacceptable. Not a great first impression

I honestly don’t get the hype about this. Food is mediocre, even for an all-you-can-eat style, especially at that price.

The atmosphere was nice but the building is small so people have to wait for others to go around one another. Salad bar small and items were ok. Bone marrow was amazing. Server was fantastic. Bathroom ran out of supplies and not enough of them so had to wait awhile. Did not have full churrasco so not sure of meat quantity. Will continue to go to DT location.

Food was nice, service same as in McDonald's. Not recommended.

I was excited to have this fogo de chao location open up closer to home. We’ve been to the Portland location several times and have tried other locations throughout the country. We wanted to treat my cousin and her husband to dinner and decided have them try the full churrasco experience. My cousin and her husband has never been to a Brazilian steak house before. Before getting to the restaurant we raved about the cheese bread, pork belly with hot honey, and many other steaks. Unfortunately the experience was not as expected. We were not served the cheese bread and plantains until we asked for it. Which came 30 minutes well into our meal. When it did arrive, we commented how we were looking forward to it and to please bring us more (our table of four was only served four pieces). More cheese bread never came. Each time we asked we were told they were in the oven and will bring out some. At the end of our meal we were asked if they could get us dessert and we just asked for more bread which eventually came but we were pretty much done. It was also a challenge to get our waters refilled. My wife’s cousin even made a comment that he is purposely drinking smaller sips to make his water last. When we were served our first round of meats, we requested the pork belly and was told they are sold out. Everyone was very friendly and the meats we did try was great. The alcoholic beverages were also really good. I’m disappointed my guests didn’t experience what my wife and I were bragging about and considering I spent over $500 for dinner I don’t know if I’ll be coming back to this location.

Everything was good except for one specific interaction. Lamb rib was completely uncooked when we cut into it. Brought it up to manager and they said they would come back but never did. Good for drinks but definitely not the $70 price point

We were excited to try the new Tigard location as we’ve been to the downtown location several times before. While our server was nice and attentive, the rest of the service and food was very disappointing. We had to wait over 40 mins before any cut of meat made to us. They would even serve a few of the tables around us, but we had to ask pur server a few times before meat finally made it to us. And when they did, we had to wait another 10mins in between servings for more meat to come by. It seems like they need more meat servers in general and they are short staffed compared to the Portland location. The market salad bar is also half the size of the Portland one… it definitely has less options. For $70/person we would have expected top notch service and foot. Unfortunately it was a big disappointment. We wont return to Fogo anytime soon, and if we do it will not be to the Tigard location.

Horrible service and lots of food/drinks not available. Our waiter promised us items that never showed up to our table despite asking 3 times. Ordered a couple of Brazilian limonadas then they brought one to the table after a long while and I asked where’s mine and they said they ran out. No alternatives asked for drinks. We requested lamb, but they never brought it to the table. Gave no other options. Didn’t bring sauces, bread, mashed potatoes, polenta etc for sides. Asked multiple times for all those. The market table was out of bacon, fruits, meatsand certain salads. Most of the meats were rare even though we asked for medium well. Atmosphere is great and a very nice environment. I understand it’s a new restaurant but paying hundreds doesn’t justify it. Very disappointed as I love going to Fogo. The photo shows how empty it was.

You have a reservation? Doesn't metter you'll wait for 2-3 hours. This is not a restaurant it's a cheap buffet, food not bad, service 1/100. Worst experience ever.

The service is just not good, we were greeted and served our drinks within 10 minutes of sitting down but then did not see our server or were checked on for over a hour. Was very excited for this new restaurant but probably won’t go back.

Absolutely terrible experience. We had a reservation but still had to wait for a table. We never got a server. It took about 10 to 15 minutes for us to even get our drinks. All the meat cuts were under seasoned and tasted exactly the same. The salad bar had hardly anything I wanted to eat off of it. The soup was lukewarm, the bread was stale and the fruit was under ripe. I even had a free coupon for the meal but I wouldn't come back even for free.

So excited to go on Valentine's day. My partner has never been to something like this so I asked the server to explain how it works. She left out you have to get your own plate from the salad bar area to get served. With that said, it's very crowded and hard to navigate through the restaurant around the tables, servers and customers. When the servers came around with the meats, we were offered the same meat multiple times and not offered other meats that were available until we asked. Even then they told us it might take a while for them to come and bring it to us. We ordered lobster as extra and when we got it, it was undercooked and butter did not come with it. All of the pork was very dry. The chicken and beef were good. I ordered a couple specialty cocktails from the menu and it was decent at $15.50. I expected that. However, my partner ordered a couple Maker's and coke and it was the same price! Kinda surprised at that. The other issue was we were sitting at our table and a server brought bread to three tables where nobody was sitting at that time and didn't bring any to us. We had to ask! They just opened recently so hopefully, they just have to work through the bugs. Needless to say for a $300.00 dinner we were extremely disappointed and will not return.
