Lobster roll was very good

East End Clambake catered my daughter’s and my mother’s joint birthday party in my backyard in July. I cannot describe how amazing and wonderful they were every step of the way. We ended up renting chairs and tables as well as went with the The East End Lobster Bake package, with fried chicken (the only catered who offered this as an addition to lobster!) Patricia coordinated everything and really made it so very easy. I can’t remember the two women who came to the event along with the chef but they really out themselves, our 60 guests were truly delighted and the food was incredible. No one left hungry, that is for sure!!!! They really know how to run a smooth operation and all of the staff were so lovely to work with. They are absolutely the best!!!!

Captain Phil serves the best fried clam strips in the Hamptons. Not a large portion, but the flavor and quality surpass by far more visible places like Lobster Roll and Clam Bar in Nappeague. A tidy quaint store with a nice al fresco dining area and astonishingly gorgeous girls with friendly smiles to take your order. Captain Phil has also penned an autobiography available at the counter on rising above adversity to reconcile and succeed in life. A great new find after coming out east for so long. Looking forward to more delish seafood next stop there.

May be good food but it is not a place to sit and eat. Even when they are not busy long waiting, not good service.

Had high hopes and they were dashed. On the plus side the Fried Flounder ($19) and the Fried Coconut Shrimp ($16.50 for 4) were decent, but felt slightly overpriced. And also on the plus side, the staff was very nice. However, the $42 Maryland Crabcakes as you can see from the picture were essentially burnt and dry. That was by far the most disappointing. Grilled Mahi Mahi at $15 was tiny, tasteless and overcooked. Altogether I expected much better food for a $105 total after tax.

the owner is a racist, horrible experience. they maybe be good at what they do but fail as a human being.

In your case I’ve got lots of fries and plenty lettuce on a side, lettuce inside the roll and just couple pieces of lobster…

This place was actively disgusting. Do not waste your money here. Everything we got tasted horrible and they forgot a bunch of our order as well. Literally inedible.

It was so disappointing that they were not prepared for Labor Day weekend. How is it possible that they ran out of lobster and it’s a lobster restaurant... completely unacceptable!
