Good local for tapas and drinks. Excellent food, great service and a reasonable price. We are not locals but were treated well and enjoyed being away from tourist central. We stopped for tapas while waiting for a nearby restaurant to open for dinner.

Friendly neighbourhood bar with a good menu of the day. Service is friendly and the terrace seems to be ultra popular, with limited tables without reservation. English wasn't an issue. Dishes were pretty simple and rustic, but tasty and good value. The menu of the day consisted of bread. starter, main, dessert or coffee. The place seems like the clientele are mostly regulars.

We highly recommend Bar Pikos. Without realising it, this is what we've been looking for since we arrived in Spain. An incredibly affordable menu del dia, around €12.90 for two courses, with drink and a choice of coffee or dessert. The food was fresh, tasty and plentiful, the staff and service was amazing, time for a smile and a chat even though they are very busy. We highly recommend going to Bar Pikos for a meal while you are in Valencia.

This lace is just another level. I tried calamari, cuttlefish and snails (my guilty pleasure). All was just incredible. Service was just great. Nelly rocks especially! Bull’s-eye recommendations and just in time food appearance. She is #1! Overall, it is not about price/quality. It is quality itself, though the price would surprise in a positive way. Incredible experience. Highly recommend!

We were with five guys and only had to wait about 10–20 minutes, but it was absolutely worth it. The tapas were perfect – served in under five minutes and simply delicious. The steak was also fantastic. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this place!

The food was tasty and cheap, the portions were large, the service was exceptionally good (and fast). All the compliments! Sangria for cca 2.5e is insane! Will certainly come back to this awesome bar.

Even though they don't speak English, they are helpful and provide a fantastic local experience. We tried padron peppers, grilled baby squid, small chorizos, and zarajos. All are delicious, definitely check it out.

My wife and I stayed just around the corner from the bar for 4 nights, and I think we ended up coming here 4 times! After having tried other bars in the city (which were more expensive), Piko’s couldn’t be beaten. Expect a traditional no-nonsense ambience, surrounded by locals, with cold reasonably priced tap beer. You can stand at the bar or grab a table. We tried a lot of food but the puntilla, padrons and black pudding with eggs were favourites.

The food was great and prices were good. My favorite traditional restaurant in Spain so far. We tried 6 dishes (Tapas) and every one was delicious. You can't go wrong. Don't be shy though - it's a busy place and you need to be assertive to get the server's attention.

We were about to enter another bar about a hundred metres away from this bar, sat down and asked for a glass of white wine, the waitress told us about 15 different choices and all we wanted was house wine, we left, walked 50 metres down the road and found this place . Basic, nothing special, but the attention to detail was over the top descreet, 6 waiters- waitresses , you never had to call any of them, they were so attentive it was as if they knew what you wanted before you did. The tapas was amounst the best I have experience in Valencia. I could not recommend this place enough. As an example, we ordered steamed mussels and waited 25 minutes, this was reassuring that they had been freshly cooked Going back tomorrow. Prices, moderate, but we were happy for the price for the quality.

If you see Spaniards standing at the bar to eat, then it must be good. So it was. One of the best Tapas I ate since long. Maybe there are better ones about but I am sure that they lack the atmosphere of this one. It is a pleasure to be surrounded by locals and it is just full. Just order a beer on draft and some traditional food, you're set for a nice lunch. Certainly worth going a bit out of your way for it.

Las tapas buenísimas, y calidad precio en general bien, pero el chivito no lo pidáis porque es muy escaso, no lleva huevo, ni queso..y además yo lo quería de pollo en vez del típico de lomo y tampoco. Llevaba lomo con lechuga, tomate y bacon y au. Les pregunte y dijeron que ellos lo hacen así y se quedaron tan anchos 😅👍

La comida es buena, y el lugar es acogedor tiene su ambiente, la comida es fresca solo se nota que le falta personal, cuando fui había solo un mesero para todas las mesas, ordenamos alcachofas y se le olvidaron al mesero.

We visited Piko's Bar twice this summer. The service could have been better but the tapas are a very good price and the food is excellent, one of the best in the city. My husband wanted puntillas and they were so good that he ordered more. The situation right near the Cuart towers and Botanic gardens is ideal. I would like to give 5 stars overall but the indifference of the waiter the first time and ignoring us when we went inside on arrival it has to be 4 .We had booked for the second visit but no tables were prepared for us with a cloth which we had seen the first time. Despite the service I recommend this bar for authentic well-priced tapas.

Las clochinas no me han gustado, el resto de la comida sí estaba buena. Servicio rápido. Personal amable. Servicios no aptos para personas de movilidad reducida.

Bar más de tapas que de menú. Pedimos el menú y las raciones son algo escasas, los canelones cortos de sabor, en cambio la carrillada muy rica. Buen servicio y precio aceptable.

The service was good and the tapas were tasty. We ordered calamares a la plancha (grilled squid), pimientos de padron (fried peppers), patatas bravas, albondigas caseras (meatball in tomato sauce) and choricitos (mini sausages). Everything was good, but the squid had sand and needed to be cleaned better. Also, the English and the Spanish menu slightly differ (eg. a glass of wine is 2 euros instead of 1.90, or a tapa is 4,50 instead of 4). For our order the difference was 1 Euro, so we didn't bother correcting it.

La comida bien, sin tirar cohetes pero es correcta. Cuando llegamos el camarero ni nos miró y tampoco nos respondió cuando intentamos captar su atención en la barra. Fuimos pronto y nos sirvieron todos los platos en menos de 5 minutos, todos a la vez. Las bravas llevaban una salsa de bote muy fuerte, en la carta no aparece marcada con una guindilla (tampoco tienen ningún alérgeno). En las croquetas el jamón brillaba por su ausencia. La ensaladilla tenía muy buena pinta pero llevaba demasiada patata y poco acompañamiento. La puntilla estaba en su punto. Los baños extremadamente sucios y de imposible acceso para una persona con dificultades en desplazamientos. Calidad precio bien para su ubicación.

Mi experiencia fue bastante desagradable, la atención lenta y un mesero con los pelos parados con una mecha blanca, me vendió lo más caro, le pedí un juego de limón y me vendió uno de melocotón pequeño y caro, me di cuanta después cuando me fui y le prefinte y me dijo que me olvidó, pero la verdad fue que quiso cobra más caro debido que con la persona que estaba hablaba solo en inglés. La atención lenta en dónde se demoraron más de 1 hora en la atención fueron dejando las tapas de apoco, las de camarón estaban buenas, las demás nisiquiera las pudimos comer en especial una de cerdo. No lo recomendaría, son abusivos con los extranjeros, atienden mal y los baños sucios y sin papel higiénico. Además que los cubiertos te los tiraba en un costado y si le preguntabas algo te decía no se y te miraba con cara de odio.

Caro y malo. Pedimos tostadas de tomate y jamón. Jamón de sobre y un pan mojado. El café quemado. No volveremos

En resumidas cuentas mi experiencia es desagradable. Lo más Rubén y cochambroso es que pidas un bocadillo de blanco y negro y te pongan una longaniza perdida en un mar de pan que básicamente es a lo que sabía el bocadillo a pan.. desaconsejo totalmente a cualquier trabajador que venga este bar a almorzar

Estaba por la zona, y después de estar andando bastante me apetecía una buena cerveza fresquita, y me decidí por este bar, no lo conocía, me senté en una mesa, habían como diez y dos solo ocupadas, y a los 15 minutos, entere a pedir en barra porque no salia nadie, pedí la cerveza, un tercio de estrella, no tenían otro fresco me dijo, y al pagar le dije que me salía fuera, de los 2.50€ que me pedía de la cerveza fueron 3€ ya que me dijo que en terraza hay servicio aparte, me rei pero le pagué a la chica, servicio?, si entre yo y coji y pague en barra, que servicio, en fin, para colmo la cerveza tampoco estaba fría, mala experiencia y no volveré, precios abusivos, y servicio realmente nulo.

Hemos estado cenando en este bar y los camareros nos han tratado con mucha falta de respeto. Llegamos preguntando si podíamos cenar a las 23:10 de la noche y nos permitieron sentarnos. Pedimos una ración de verduras y la calidad ha sido muy deficiente y los chipirones no estaban buenos. Al decírselo a los camareros, se han reído y nos ha contestado el dueño, que a las horas que íbamos no podíamos esperar otra cosa. Risas de los camareros, dueño y se iban sin escucharnos. Comida mala y servicio desagradable. Nunca me habían tratado así en un bar nunca.

Llegué a las 15h y me dijeron que ya no había menú. Para mí sorpresa entro un hombre con su hija 5 minutos después, sin reserva oí toda la conversación, les atendió otra persona y vaya si que había menú. Aunque no sea un bar muy ruidoso. Al estar las mesas pegadas se oye todo.El acceso al baño es un poco complicado por una mini escalera, pero es lo que hay ... La comida está bien. No tienen medias raciones y sin menú está un poco complicado elegir para comer una sola persona. 2 tapas te las sacan sin pan y 2 tercios 16€. La ubicación merece la pena si consigues aparcar, en eso ellos no tienen la culpa. Volveré otro miércoles o jueves a ver si tengo suerte y me llega el menú. Me quedé con las ganas de probar el gazpacho manchego.
