Excellent sandwiches, high quality ingredients, but the staff is what stands out here. Having fantastic people delivering an outstanding sandwich is what keeps me coming back. Never had a mistake and always addressed in a friendly and respectful manner. While you're waiting read the story about the owner. It tastes good and feels good to support local, community based, family owned businesses.

The shop was very busy. The line was 10 people deep upon arrival. Menu was very easy to read. May be a bit pricey compared to other sandwich shops. $10 a sandwich. Lunch for 4 with chips and drink was $60 total. The food was good. Their house made sauces sent the sandwich to a whole new level. One of the best deli sandwich I've had since the Anchor Deli in Santa Cruz which closed 20 years ago. I will be going back when my budget allows me to afford this particular luxury.

These folks were great all around. Last minute large order for 30 and they had a delicious sandwich tray out in 15 minutes that was a huge hit. They even served me excellent pineapple soft serve while I waited. I highly recommend this place.

What a fun little place! I've been twice and the food is constantly great. I had my sandwich without the bread. It was made into a salad with the condiments on the side. They use Boars Heads meat, so great quality there too. Go, you won't regret it.

Just moved to the area, craving a good sando and ran across this place, got the mesquite turkey loaded up and it was awesome! When I got the very friendly and ready to go. Grabbed some red potato salad that was awesome.

Roast Beef + Provolone on Dutch Crunch with everything plus sprouts minus mustard and pickles and adding a little extra mayo. I love how they also add the garlic and jalapeño spread. This is probably the only sandwich spot I go to in Vallejo.

Great menu, will be back to try the other specialty sandwiches! Soft bread and heavy but not messy :)

A review randomly popped up in my feed with a glorious photo on a turkey sandwich on Dutch Crunch bread and I was smitten! I was their first customer a few days later (I didn't want to miss the bread!) And got a tuna fish with avocado, sprouts, garlic spread, jalapeño spread, hold the pickles 😋 OMG it's indescribably DUHLUSHUS!! I was full all day long! But somehow I had room for my cool, smooth Pineapple Whip 🍍! If you haven't been, you're missing out!

I tried calling ahead to order, but they said they don't take orders by phone. No worries, I placed my order and it was ready barely 5 minutes after, just in time for their closing! I ordered the Italian combo, which they said they can not make hot for some reason. Even cold, it was tasty, with nice dressing that complimented the rest of the ingredients without distracting from the cold cuts. Cold cuts were good, bread tasted fresh, and overall the sandwich was good, if a bit expensive at $16. Still, it was so large I was satiated with just a half, so overall it is decent value.

Great sandwiches, I am making my way through their meno. Haven't had one I didn't like. Today was The Sausalito on sourdough, yum!

Great deli sandwiches, they are a little slow but I think that is because they are doing on line orders as well. But if your hurry it's good to know they are not super fast. If you buy a salad side dish just know they are a little pricey but they taste good. Very hard to find a regular deli anymore and so glad they opened up, there sour dough bread is super soft and taste really good! Everything is really fresh also bring good quality.

Good selection of Sandwiches which consists of classic ones like the BLT and some looks like their own. All are really tasty. We liked the potato chips which you don't usually find in regular grocery stores and their deviled eggs were also good. Prices are not cheap though, specially if you will come as a group/family and each will eat a whole sandwich with drinks and sides. We were a group of four when we went there and paid more than $60. But for the taste, it's worth it.

The best sandwich shop in Vallejo. We have been using them to cater for up to 100 people for years. Always consistent quality. Order online to avoid the wait as they do get pretty busy around lunchtime.

First time trying. I did enjoy my sandwich. $15 is the new normal for a sami nowadays. Got “The Caveman” with everything with provolone and Dutch crunch. The bread wasn’t even close to crunchy for being Dutch crunch! Main thing that was a bit disappointing. Pretty soft if you ask me. Overall ingredients were good. Good amount of meat and the spreads are good. Maybe next time I’ll try it toasted and warmed. Would come back again!

Sandwiches are great. In store service is atrocious. Make sure you order online to get the best service. I ordered a single sandwich in person. Waited over 20 minutes, watched someone get their order even though they ordered after me with 3 sandwiches. The cashier finally noticed my sandwich was sitting on the back counter, un bagged and called out my name. Why couldn't the guys making the sandwich call out my name? Be better, and train your staff better.

Sandwiches were not ready at the time they said they would be ready when I got there to pick them up. I still had to wait. Staff was All looked very sad and not happy to be there

Got the "El Chavo" but on Dutch Crunch bread. Taste is good but bad value for what you pay for $13.50. They gave very little meat and the sandwich was flat.

This place has gone downhill and it’s a shame it used to be so good. I ordered a Reuben the other day and it was 90% French dressing and 10% sandwich - just a soggy mess I had to throw away it was inedible. The Mac salad isn’t even seasoned just mayo and $4 for those tiny sides is a crime

Rueben thousand island too sweet, Caveman is pathetic with their skimpy meat portions, and the red potato salad is actually disgusting. I just don’t get how people like this place?!

There's no bacon added as I ordered, and paid for. Also, Theres's more bread than ingredients. I couldn't taste avocado nor garlic spread on the second half of the sandwich! Very disappointing as I have not ordered from them in years.

The Caveman should be called the slim man. It has good flavor but my sandwich had one slice of each of the meats. I expected more meat for such an expensive sandwich. The Ruben was ok. There was plenty of meat however they use a sugary dressing for the sandwich and it really throws the flavor off. The red potato salad was actually gross.

I love the sandwiches I've been coming here for years but I got to say the past few times I've been there. The service is just very poor. On my last visit I ordered online because my family was in a hurry and I know they think can get pretty busy sometimes. When I arrived in the shop there was a line of people waiting to order. I stood at the side counter where they hand out the sandwiches and I waited. the man taking orders. Not sure the names Even after finishing someone's order never stopped to acknowledge that I was there or even ask if I had placed an order or was waiting. Instead of saying something I waited as he took three more people's orders and he still never acknowledged me, including the two people making sandwiches who both looked at me and saw I was there. When the line was gone he finally turned to me and asked if I had been helped. When I mentioned I had already ordered ahead, he asked me my name and grabbed my sandwiches. I could have had my food and been on my way much sooner. There's a reason that people order a head online that's so you don't have to wait in the line to place your order. I think the owner really needs to work with his crew and making sure they're giving good customer service. Another bad experience like this and you'll be losing my business
