I live in Houston which is known as a foodie city. I’m usually disappointed with Detroit area food. Well let me tell you, this place is all 5 stars for me! Everything was delicious - baked brie, harvest salad, fresh bread, and my pasta dish were exceptional! I love the atmosphere and vibe, and they had local wine which I greatly appreciate. We were celebrating my birthday and I received a lovely dessert so nicely presented. Our waitress was so kind and helpful. I cannot wait to come back next time I’m in town!

SHOUT OUT TO SAM!!!! We came in yesterday for the first time for my birthday celebration and everything was perfect!…the food was amazing! And even though we had a crazy toddler and gluten allergies, Sam was on it! Very accommodating and knowledgeable on our food restrictions and great hospitality! We will definitely be back😃

This is no AI write up. I am the real deal and so is Bar Verona. Where to start. Food was delicious and Chef Lindsey Connelly’s daily creations did NOT disappoint. Asian sea bass and farro risotto cooked to perfection. The butternut squash and asparagus were the perfect accompaniment to this symphony of beautiful food and atmosphere. Live music, knowledgeable staff and friendly people. Bon a petite!

Gabi was an amazing waitress! We are regulars at Verona Italian Inspired in Shelby and this place blew our minds! We will certainly be coming back! The only downside: some lazy idiot PARKED behind us waiting on the free Valet to an almost open lot (who was very tentative). Other than that, everything was fabulous from the food to the drinks to the service! (Tampons available in the women's bathroom for free which is great to see!!)

The food is great here! I got the bistecca pasta and it was phenomenal! The cannoli nachos were a hit also! Overall, the service is good and everyone is super nice! I went for a girls night out and I would go back!

This place is honestly the best restaurant I’ve ever been to not only to dine but also have an event. I’ve come to dine here many times and also had my bridal shower here. Their food is truly fantastic (every single person was stunned at how delicious and full they were), their staff is unlike any staff I’ve seen before, and their chef is amazing. I would time and time again have every event of mine here. Not only is the staff and food amazing, the prices are very reasonable as well. Shout out to Roger, both Ashley’s, and Chef Lindsay.. you are all truly wonderful.

We love going to Bar Varona! The food is so good and the atmosphere is amazing! I usually order the fillet and get the #11 Lemonade (swap the Bourbon for vanilla vodka)! We really enjoy seeing the server Laura! It’s very easy to book a table on Open Table, too!

I don’t even know where to begin. My experience at this restaurant was phenomenal. I initially wanted indoor seating but they were booked for Friday night. I was sat outside which was honestly very nice and the vibe was cute. We ordered the calamari & zucchini frita- this is a MUST HAVE. The calamari was tender and not too fishy. It’s also not the rounded calamari which I don’t particularly like. The truffle fries were also very good. We ordered the Giuseppe and Cremosi, adding chicken to both dishes. The pasta dishes were also very tasty. For drinks the espresso martini was a 10/10 and the Spicy Jo was okay (just not my go-to taste). Our server Sam was really knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations. Honestly can’t wait to go back for the amazing food and wonderful service!

A friend and I just met up for a drink , trying to find somewhere new and this did not disappoint. We sat at the bar around 6 on a Sunday and we were waited on right away. Food was SO GOOD, like comfort food but fancy. Drinks were on point and the bartender was super friendly and informative. Good music and a good vibe from this place! Bang for your buck :)

Excellent lunch here today for a customer meeting. I had the bourbon lemonade, ahi tuna for an appetizer and salmon for my main course, all of these were delicious. The waiter was very friendly and helpful with recommending. I will be back for sure.

While I can’t attest to dine-in as I did a carry out order, the restaurant was beautiful inside and out from what I saw when I picked up my order. My husband said he’d love to take me on a date there one day, but we wanted the yummy food at home today. We live across the street and it was our first time visiting after almost a year of living next door. We got the fettuccine Alfredo, the Giusseppe's and truffle fries. Our total was $53. We thought it was a tad pricy but once we tried the food, we were literally completely blown away. Worth. Every. Single. Cent. The Alfredo was to die for. I’ve had Alfredo from every other local place and chain place and none have come close to the taste of bar Veronas. The flavor is SPECTACULAR and the noodles are clearly home made. My husband enjoyed his pasta a lot and we appreciate that our meals still came with bread despite not eating in. The bread was super soft and FRESH! Phenomenal. The truffle fries were crispy, just the right amount of oily, salty, flavorful, and delectable. I could eat them every single day they are so good. I can’t say enough about how good their food is. I wish I had more words. I cannot wait to eat here again, I can’t believe I waited so long to try it! It’s nice to have such a restaurant right by our home. TLDR: LOVED THE FOOD!!
