I accidentally ended up here. I was totally happy with the whole experience. The food was as generous, fresh and delicious as I will be back soon!

A birthday group of 14 and we had no trouble sorting bills. Orders came out quickly and fresh cooked. Service was great, she was on top of everything and my glad never went empty.

Definitely better and less expensive than the other Japanese and Chinese restaurants in this town. If my family had more company out of town that liked this type of food I would definitely bring them hear. The atmosphere was calm and quite, and the staff was lovely. I can't wait to come back and eat here! It was simply amazing!!!

I eat here at least a couple times a month if not more. I've never had anything here that wasn't great. The sushi (lunch specials are amazing) is wonderful as is the Chinese side of the menu. It's always fresh and the staff is friendly. I usually order to go and I've never had a problem with any order. It's a great place.

My waitress, Lynn provided the best service. She was attentive and professional. She did a great job making me feel better. I had the Happy Family meal and it was excellent. I recommend highly.

The Kung Pao Chicken and Orange Chicken were some of the best that I have tasted in a very long time. The vegetables with the chicken were crisp, fresh, and tasty. The food arrived hot and was served with hot won ton soup and hot fried rice. The fried rice was cooked perfectly and the won ton was not too soft and again dead on. The portions were generous as well. We ate at 9 pm on a Friday night and if the food is this good at this time, it must be even better during the day. I recommend this place highly!

Some of the best Chinese food in the state I would have to say. If your going to visit this restaurant try the moo shu pork, it's very good and I have good moo shu pork before and this tops all of them. I let my family taste a bite and they all wanted more, wished they has ordered the same. The portions are large and worth every penny spent. For a family of 5 I spent 75 dollars and gave the waitress 15% because she was wonderful on serving my family and very polite. I would not hesitate to spend that much again over and over to eat here. 5 🌟 amazing

While there are slight differences in the staple dishes like Mongolian Beef, General Tso's chicken, and Kung Poa Chicken from restaurant to restaurant, I have eaten these across the United States and the make up and sauces here at this amazing little restaurant are quite different. But absolutely wonderfully made, and presented with taste buds tantalized and satisfied. Staff is very friendly and always greets with a smile.

I ordered the combination tempura appetizer, and it came out quickly, very crispy, and tasted great. I had the chicken teriyaki box for me, and it looked very appetizing. It is very filling and worth the price. The only issue was the atmosphere, which was a very tacky buffet style with noticeable clutter and packaging up front. Honestly, a great experience will definitely come again.

I live in Austin but every time I come to Victoria to eat this is my go to spot. I love the food and friendly staff. I hope this place stays open for many years. Such a treat.

Very delicious food and very kind wait staff. They always remember what I like to drink and are very courteous. The menu is what makes this place EPIC to me, it has Chinese and Japanese selections. They do not have habachi where they cook in front of you as entertainment, but they do offer the habachi dishes already prepared, and they do taste great! Lots of sushi options, unagi, unadon, comfort food such as donburi and soups such as tempura udon. Pretty towers as well. Subarashii! My photo here is chirashi, which has the unadon. Definitely give this place a try if you want to try Japanese food, or want to have comfort Chinese food! (The lemon chicken is very good, it's more of a katsu type I think.)

*update nov 2022. ~ Still the best Chinese food in town! A little secret I'm from MA and we LOVE our Chinese food and put duck sauce on everything!! I sub duck sauce for sweet and sour chicken. The food was really good! Best fried rice in town! Bento box chicken teriyaki was great. Best crab puffs. Waited a while but was worth it! Will def be back. Lo mein was amazing too!

I ordered the lobster tempura roll and it didn’t disappoint. It was the first time having a lobster tempura roll and it was delicious. Wish I had been hungry enough to eat it all. My husband had the General Tso and it was also delicious. We will definitely be back here.

STAGFLATION is in effect here. The Sushi has taken quiet the fall in quality and size. Prices are up a bit however, everything is up. Go for cooked Chinese plate/bowl meals, GOOD quantity and GREAT quality was very good. Don't know how sushi got so bland with expensive rolls seeming almost half the Gerth. Picture is beef teriyaki 18$ but good amount and VERY GOOD. Dragon Roll (Bland and small roles compared to before absolutely corrupt liberals took power), Philadelphia Role x 2, Smoked Salmon Roll, 4 Teas, 5 Crab puffs(Crab meat & Cream cheese at this place but bland)Teriyaki Beef plate, 2 plates of "Happy Family" $14.95 each VERY GOOD and decent amount for price (Sakura usually does have much larger portions across the board, the bland sushi especially a main 15+$ Roll is frustrating especially at half the width and height)

Pad Thai was great portion but mostly noodles, shrimp were small and not deveined, bland and missing peanuts, cilantro and usual ingredients. Hibachi scallops were great. Calamari were big and bland. Not smaller calamari you usually get when out. Server was great even though dishes were served 15 minutes apart.

Fabulous food, so so soo God. Good cuz I've been without ideas what 2do... what to eat -/ My friend shared hers, soup, egg drop. Also a plate that had a great sauce involved And a bit of spice which helped my throat. Broke tooth made it very comlex to chew It's Grate to have lovely friends, taken care of our Real needs Nice - great place to do so Side story: my Favor position of delivery calls me to SakurA quite a bit. Was not my absolute favorite. Often chose not to do the run at times.. This was a nice way to find out why others eat@ more expensive places!!! Made a memory 😁

The quality of the sushi here is very good, although it's quite a bit overpriced. My biggest complaint is that the service is ridiculously slow. It took 30 minutes for me to get a take-out order, and I only ordered 3 items. If they're so busy, then it makes absolutely no sense to only have one chef working. I did appreciate the fact that the person who finally gave me my food apologized for the delay and thanked me for coming in. Based on that, the service seems to be good.

Good food overall, a large menu offering for those who like options or for groups with some less adventurous eaters. Service wasn't super fast, but we have always been able to have lunch and get out in a timely manner. Courteous staff and clean environment are definite pluses.

Good food and very attentive service! The straws tend to dissolve and become useless. Also, the fried rice just seems to have soy sauce thrown on it, then put on your plate. Other than that, it's very comparable to Yamato. Only, faster service, and faster food! The service speed makes this place stand out like any other restaurant in Victoria! Had the rice been more tasteful, ya'll would have got 5 out of 5!

Very nice place inside, kind of rude staff.. Now if you're delivering food for companies like doordash like myself they take a long time and doesn't bother them that we have an expected/approximate pick up time. Each time I've been here it's taken more than 8 to 10 minutes sometimes past the expected pick up time. Even 13 to 15 minutes quite a few time. These places don't realize that the delivery drivers.. at least for doordash drivers...our ratings suffer for deliveries suffer cause we have an expected time for it to be delivered to our customers. That's just my opinion from personal experience a few times I've been in there

Service is good but the food wasn’t great. Spicy tuna roll was primarily rice, egg drop soup tasted off, the seaweed salad was good and a bigger serving than most places.

My god, where do I begin? The food was absolutely vile. Half of it was imitation crab and it wasn't specified on the menu. the soft shell crab was 95% bread to the point I couldn't even taste it. the egg omelette was sweet when I expected salty. It was no specified that it was SUPPOSED to be sugary, and it tasted like i was eating a sponge scrubbed in sugar. He got the drinks and foods mixed up, and I paid nearly 50 DOLLARS for that disgusting mess. The crab ragoo was almost entirely cream cheese to the point I nearly choked trying to eat it, and it was so loaded with cream cheese, I would've had a better time eating a crusty burnt rag slathered in a full tub of off brand cream cheese. 10/10 would NOT dine again.

My first visit… Rating 1-5, 5 being outstanding FOOD-1, no flavor, served warm, pepper steak dish was flavorless, not sure what they substituted the meat for, but was definitely NOT beef. Other dishes we tried were also flavorless. Probably not actual Asian cooks. Egg rolls -2, again no flavor; Fried rice-2, again no flavor including the sweet & sour sauce. I believe the soy sauce was also watered down. NOT DELICIOUS as others have reported. SERVICE--2, Large heavy set waitress was kinda gruff, not real pleasant, and didn’t even ask if I wanted change back, just assumed ALL the change was all hers as a tip, not very service oriented,if you don’t like your job, go get another one. ATMOSPHERE - dirty, floors, tables, and especially the bathrooms. SORRY, I will not be returning to your establishment. The owners obviously don’t care about their business. The ratings are obviously from oatmeal and bologna fans. All of this and I didn’t even have my TRUMP hat on today. Reviews are apparently rigged, I have discussed this place with others and they gave me the same reactions, poor all-around.

We had a party of 11. The servers were very helpful, however the food was not made the way we were told it would. The chefs made the food the way they wanted. I asked for an egg with my fried rice and didn’t get an egg. I asked for no bean sprouts and bean sprouts were inside my fried rice. The manager refused to issue a refund. On top of that, our food came out several minutes apart.
