Salt & Lime is hands-down one of the BEST Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming, vibrant, and full of great energy. The restaurant is beautifully set up and perfect for dinner, celebrations, or a night out with friends and family. The food was absolutely incredible. Every single dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite. The flavors were authentic, rich, and well balanced — nothing too salty, nothing bland, just straight perfection. The portions were generous, presentation was beautiful, and everything came out hot and fresh. The drinks were just as amazing — refreshing, well made, and paired perfectly with the food. You can tell they take pride in what they serve and don’t cut corners anywhere. I also want to give a HUGE shout-out to the staff because the service was outstanding. The manager, Eduardo, was amazing — professional, attentive, and clearly runs a tight ship. You can tell he genuinely cares about the guests’ experience and the way the restaurant operates. Our waiter, Christopher, deserves special recognition. He was serving a large table and still completely held it down like a pro. He was attentive, patient, organized, and made sure everyone at the table was taken care of without missing a beat. His energy, professionalism, and work ethic truly stood out and made the experience even better. Overall, Salt & Lime exceeded all expectations — amazing food, great drinks, outstanding service, and a beautiful atmosphere all in one place. This is definitely a restaurant I’ll be returning to again and again, and I’ll be recommending it to everyone I know. We chose this place for a large lunch mean and it was a hit. The atmosphere is beautiful. The location is great The restaurant was well decorated and so clean. The staff went above and beyond for us. The food was amazing I ordered more to go. The drinks are divine. This is my new favorite spot. Everything was 10 out of 10.

Our experience here was really great! The atmosphere was nice, Elisa, Elijah, and Flo gave us great service and had bright energy towards everyone. The pictures speak for itself when it comes to the food. Its vibrant colors, flavors, and quantity was excellent and I can’t wait to come here again.

My friend and I enjoyed our dinner at Americana! The mocktails were great, and the chicken nachos were addicting. The Spring Salad was very fresh, and I loved the strawberry vinaigrette on it. The shrimp scampi entree was very tasty, but definitely quite garlicky! Americana had a great variety on their menu that really celebrates the diversity of American cuisine, and it felt like a good neighborhood spot.

Went here for a quick date night. We made reservations on Resy and was seated right away. We ordered the carne asada fries and the margarita flight. Both were excellent and packed with flavour. My wife ordered the enchiladas which was average but my carne asada steak was very good. If you like more California Mexican food I would check this spot out

Outstanding! Place looks fancy and casual at the same time but honestly it’s a place for any occasion. Staff and service was over the top. They were friendly and made us feel welcomed. Food and drinks were amazing. My husband and I had the spicy pasta and it really hit the spot. It was creamy and tasty. The spicy for me was mild but just right and the veggies…yummy!! The buffalo and bbq wings were mouth watering and finger licking. My daughter had the Americana Burger of course no tomato and was unbelievable. She’s 9 yrs old with a huge burger like that, she ate a bit more than half and was full. She wants to go back tonight for another. lol unfortunately we were busy enjoying our food I forgot to take a picture of her burger. A friend ordered the bacon avocado burger, she took a picture of it and it was also delicious. Both burgers were under $15 each. Americana grill and bar is our new favorite place!

Wonderful place if you feel like Mexican. The decor, the atmosphere is excellent - pristine, beautiful mix of modern and classic, cold granite and warm wood. Andrea, the bar tender, maces great, mean margaritas :)!you can get a spot with a view, which means a lot to me. Excellent food - probably the best nachos (made with a soul) that I have ever had. Highly recommend for a date out, a brunch, or a pit stop on your way along i84 or i91

Reservation was made on Open table. The food was fresh and tasty, service was professional, seating was comfortable, space was large and clean, and there was parking on premises with entrances in the front and back. I enjoyed the salt and lime shrimp and no buzz margarita. We didn’t feel rushed to order, eat or pay. We enjoyed our lunch time.

This place is great! The location has had a few different restaurants but this is definitely out favorite and we hope it stays for a long time! All the employees have been so nice to us, from the hostess, our server, bartender and manager. Food and drinks are great! We recommend the tacos and the fries and steak appetizer! 10/10!

The food was absolutely delicious and tasted so fresh. The nachos and carne asada fries are my fave and have gotten them a few more times since then. The happy hour was fun and very good deals. The service was 10/10. everyone is so nice and quick with everything!

This place is awesome!! Our server Lu was so sweet and attentive. The owner/manager stopped by several times to check on us. The food was beautifully plated. Clearly a lot of thought and care went into the menu. Packed with flavor. Large serving sizes. I came with three friends, we got some queso to go with the fresh tortilla chips (delicious). I got the Salt and Lime burrito. My friends got the S+L chimichanga, S+L enchiladas and the quesabirra. Everything was fantastic. We got the churros for dessert as well. Perfect size for the 4 of us to split without feeling overwhelmed at the end. Highly recommend. The place itself is gorgeous.

Salt + Lime is one of our absolute favorites! The food and cocktails are amazing every single time. Andrea is our favorite bartender... she only works on Sundays, so that’s our go-to day to visit. The guacamole and carne asada are our top picks, but honestly, everything on the menu is fantastic. Portions are very generous, the atmosphere is family-friendly, and the service is always excellent. Highly recommend!

Great vibe. The salsa is top notch and fresh. They have a great happy hour deal from 4-6pm and even taco Tuesdays. Great spot after work and for a fun night.

I split fajitas and tacos with a friend and got a margarita flight and it was all great. At one point the owner came over and checked on how we were doing and got us more tortillas. Also the chips and dips as a complementary starter in the beginning was great!

Eduardo and Elisa made this dining experience super incredible! Both were very accommodating and welcoming! They made sure they checked on our table. The atmosphere was fun and inviting! I was here celebrating with my cousins and sister, my second time here their 1st time. We will most definitely come again real soon! Thanks again Eduardo and Elisa! 🥰

Our pharmacy placed a catering order from Salt and Lime today for our Christmas lunch, and let me just say — the food was absolutely delicious! Every single staff member loved it. Everything was so tasty, full of flavor, and perfectly prepared. The desserts truly stole the show — especially the churros and the flan. They were outstanding and such a hit with everyone. I would honestly rate Salt and Lime as one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten from, and I will definitely be going back on my own personal time to try more items from their menu. This was a total win — a huge plus all around. You must try it. Awesome experience!

Our server was Flo and she was amazing. We had a party of 5 and Flo was knowledgeable about the menu and the questions we had for her. She also got our sense of humor and would show us her sense of humor also. The food came out quickly and was very good

We came out tonight to watch the University of Connecticut basketball game versus Providence. Our server, who was also the bartender, and her name is Celia, . Is very accommodating in making sure that the game we wanted was displayed on the main screen. She took our order quickly and brought the food which was very hot and delicious. We have nothing but good things to say about our experience here tonight and any other night we come here as well.

The staff was phenomenal very attentive and friendly. The drinks where amazing very well balanced I had a great time for happy hour. I tried the guc, ceviche, and a chimichanga. The ceviche was fresh very delicious the sauces on the chimichanga where great.

Tried Americana for the first time during happy hour and it was a good experience! The Nachos and sliders are delicious, the wings needed a little more flavor but not bad. The only thing I was disappointed with was my drink I had a mojito and it tasted nothing like a mojito the guy changed it but it still didn’t have that mojito flavor. The margaritas were good and strong! Staff was also very nice and welcoming.

Been here twice and both times were great! The margaritas are a little too sweet for me, but the flight is really pretty. It's chilly by the windows in the bar, so we much preferred the comfier dining room on our second visit. I got a salad with chicken last time and it was delicious.

We paid our first visit for HH and truly enjoyed the experience. Sat at one of the high tops in the bar area. Service was great - attentive, friendly, and respectful (none of the “hon” “darling” “love” business from 20 year olds and I can be their momma!) The owner came over to check on us too. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, made suggestions. The food was great, but the cocktails were even better - the bartender knew what he was doing 👏🏾👏🏾. We’ll be back!

My cousin turned us on to this place for dinner. It’s a nice little spot, we made reservations so we didn’t have to wait but there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The food was really good, had the chimichangas and burrito, both were great. The rice and beans were good as well. Service and atmosphere was good, would definitely come back.

Great experience here! The food was banging and there were so many drink options to chose from. There was a live mariachi band taking song requests and it was so much fun! They sang despasito and a few other Latin hits. My fiancée and I came here for dinner on a Tuesday night and we were met with wonderful and attentive servers. The food was a little slow to come out but that doesn’t matter that much to me because we had chips and salsa (free) to snack on. We enjoyed ourselves and got the tres leches for dessert - which was DIVINE. We will definitely be coming here again. There is parking in the back of the restaurant but there is also street parking available. There is indoor and outdoor seating as well. No complaints. Great food and vibes.

This was our first time eating at Salt & Lime. The food was really good. We ate in and took out for someone at home. The restaurant was comfortable, bright, with good service. The Chimichangas, beef, and pulled pork tacos, and table side guacamole with salsa and chips were very good altogether. Came back again. Was fun. The pork tacos were tough but tasty. The drinks were good. Tableside guacamole needed salt.

My friend received salt vs sugar with her coffee.👀 The situation was rectified. The Verdict: The happy hour menu is great. M- Th, 3-6 p.m. and Fri-Sat, 9 p.m. - 12 a.m. A Daily Diner 😊 12-17-24 Second visit was enjoyable- delicious food and drink. I ordered pechuga a la parilla and a frozen mango margarita. 12-19-24 Third visit was the BEST. My now usual, frozen mango margarita. 😋 I cleaned my barrita tacos plate. I shared a friend’s fried icecream. It tasted like it was rolled in coconut flakes. It was surprisingly firm for fried icecream. Nonetheless, it was absolutely delicious. The manager shared that they will start serving brunch, effective January 4, 2025. I’m looking forward to it. A Daily Diner😋 12-22-24 Yes, I went back again. Stopped on the way to a comedy show. I wanted my mom to try this establishment while she was in town. Once again, I enjoyed my meal- I tried the salmon today. However, the server had a bit of an attitude, although she lightened up a bit towards the end. While I will definitely return, I will not allow to ever serve me again. 1-15-25 Haven’t been here in about 3 weeks. To my disappointment, the size of the happy hour drink has shrunk. Also, there was a new bartender. She was pleasant, despite a failed attempt to convince me nothing had changed. I explained to her that I’d been coming here pretty regularly in December 2024. While the food, drink and service are good. I’m going to give this place a break:I’m disappointed with the change. I ordered the Barria tacos again (which cost $22 today, yet they were $18 on December 19, 2024.) I didn’t pay this trip, so no receipt but note the difference in the drink. A Daily Diner🙃

We stopped by Salt + Lime before the Yard Goats game. We wanted some tacos, and this place is relatively new, so we decided to give it a shot. We started with the nachos, and they were very good. Half beef and half chicken, they were just about perfect. I had the asada tacos and my honey had the chorizo. Both were quite tasty. One thing we wish was that they could have a mix of tacos on one plate. There wasn’t a way to get a variety on the menu. We asked our server and he informed us they could not do that. Seems a little silly… but ok. We opted to sit I. The bar and almost immediately wished we sat on the patio. If you’re going to actually eat, the small tables in the bar are way too small. We may give it another shot, like I said, the food was good, I just really wish there were some options.

Food here was great. We ordered take out and the food was still really good. Only issue was I had ordered a side with my dish and it wasnt in the bag. I should know better and check by now because this is not that unusual of an occurrence. I would still go back but just make sure to check next time.

Our server was amazing. He was handling front of house, serving tables and didn’t miss a beat. Great portion size and delicious as well. I didn’t get his name but he did an awesome job. My compliments to the entire staff an overall great experience.

Nice look, the decor, patio, and bar are impeccable. The service was good. The free chicken nachos were very good. The chips and salsa, tasty, however, the chips were thick and hard, not the same chips as the nachos which were thin and crisp, seemed odd. The 3 Enchilada dish came with the standard refried beans and rice, the refried beans were ridiculously watery and the rice had peas, not good. The enchiladas were wrapped in an oddly thick corn tortilla that were not right for an enchilada, maybe a tamale, definitely not for an enchilada. And the most ridiculous factor, they only have Tabasco hot sauce, lol!! That is not a Mexican restaurant hot sauce!! They need Valentina and or Cha Lula hot sauces at a minimum. They did have a house hot sauce that was yellow and tasted like Tabasco at best. This is a new restaurant so I'll go back for a follow-up review in 6 months.

Came here to eat after visiting the Rose Garden that was only a grass garden during this time of year. Although the restaurant was 3/4 empty they were only accepting reservations, no walk-ins (it was Mother’s Day). On the way out I noticed the bar and asked to sit there and after brief conversation between employees, I was allowed. I ordered a virgin mango margarita. It tasted like a weak soda with a hint of mango flavoring, not a fan. The Mexican street corn from the appetizer menu was ABSOLUTELY delicious. However, both my mother and I ordered seafood from their Main menu. Both meals were lacking flavor and the rice was clumpy and inedible in my opinion. The pros: They had a one man mariachi band come by and sing songs to guests. He sang three little birds… fitting I guess. My mother loves that song so it actually was nice to hear. And they gave her a rose for being a mother. Not me though for being an aunt.

If you are looking for a place for the ambiance and drinks this place is it. It’s beautifully decorated. They have indoor and outdoor seating and the place was lively for sure. Our only complaint was the food. I’m sorry.. honest review! My son’s steak fajita came out overcooked and dry. It was burnt right on the pan it came out sizzling on. My husband’s Arroz con pollo was the first of that version we’ve ever had. I guess every place has their own recipe but it was def different. The fish tacos were good.. no complaint there. And our waitress was awesome; very attentive. Overall, decent place for drinks and chip & salsa.

I really wanted to love this place, as the food was quite tasty. But as someone with an allergy, I’m afraid Salt and Lime fell short on their attention to detail. Despite indicating that I had an allergy prior to ordering my meal, and confirming that the meal I was to order was safe, when I received my meal, it contained dairy. I will say that the staff and manager were very quick to apologize and prepare a new meal for me. They came over several times to check in to see how things were. I’m not sure if this issue falls on the server or on the kitchen, and I do not want to place blame. Our server was kind, however not very attentive. If we wanted or needed something, we had to ask twice. So despite the food being good, the service and the attention to detail was lacking. I highly doubt that I would come back for those reasons.

I made reservations on Cinco De Mayo for this establishment and it was very packed. The staff were polite however due to it being busy it was difficult for them to come to tables more frequently. The drinks were good, and I loved the nachos however when it came to the main course there were some issues. The salmon was raw and had to be taken back 3 times to be cooked and the wait staff agreed it was raw. When it was time to pay the tab the manager just took one drink off the bill and the meals had to be wrapped up and taken home. The shrimp was also under cooked. I would be willing to give this place one more try considering the busy holiday may have been a factor for the meal not being cooked well

The drinks are not the best one. The food is like. 3/10 I ordered steak, the steak was burnt, the guacamole seems like old was make Last Week…. Omg I can’t believe…. The tortillas was greasy, very greasy…. It’s not really Mexican restaurant😵‍💫🫣 Very disappointed.
