Best local Korean BBQ restaurant! Tables have plexiglass separation, and no smoke (I was worried about that, since you're BBQ-ing inside.) Absolutely try their beef kalbi soup (awesome!). Favorites are kalbi beef, bulgogi beef, lemon chicken. Get the Japjae noodles, too. This takes some getting used to, coordinating the tongs in one hand and the sheers in the other, but you'll get the knack. A 'must try" place in West Hills in the ever-expanding Fallbrook Mall!

This place has a lot of different options to order for the price. It’s a big place! There is enough room for everyone. The service is fast! Our server is very nice. Thank you, Jelescia sorry, not sure if that is how you spell it) 😊

Once you walk into this place. The size, seating, and the vibe is amazing. With a full whiskey bar (great old fashion! You gotta try one). To the pinball machines in the back. The service is amazing. But more importantly, the food tastes amazing! As a true home Korean and eating mom’s food which is freshly made everyday. I gotta say, the Kalbi was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. The kimchi fried rice was made with the right amount of sesame oil and kimchi to rice portion. Egg nicely cooked over medium easy with yolk just flowing over the rice once I popped into it. Washed it down with an old fashion. I was in heaven. I don’t live in the valley, but if I did. I would come here once a week for dinner. It’s that good! You gotta stop by and try it. You are going to love it and want to keep ordering more….

The wait was 45-60 minutes. The waiting area was cold. Dress warm. The place was clean and modern. The staff were amazing and great teamwork. The wood was great. I would come back.

The server was great. We had to wait 45-60 minutes to sit down. The food was great. I would go there again without the kids. They charge for kids $10 less if they are over 40 inches. Which means $29 per kid. Kids don’t really eat much.

Definitely coming back here as much as possible!!! The food is FANTASTIC and so is the service. Apple Pork and the Kalbi (short rib) are by far the most superior items on the menu. Definitely try that, because it's probably the only thing you should order. A close second would be the black pepper beef, which was recommended to me by our sever--it was so good, but apple pork and Kalbi are to die for!! The glass noodles, chicken fried rice, and spicy ramen are also something you should get, but one order of each for 2 people is more than enough--you gotta save room for the meat! :) I also really like all of the little sides that come before the food, like the "fish" patties that are made of soy, but taste soo good, and the little sides of bean sprouts. Also, don't forget to order some kimchi to fry up--it goes so good with your meal. You should definitely come here, it is worth every penny (But before 3pm is almost $10 cheaper per person, so maybe come for lunch!) :)

Went here on a Sunday around noon and did not have to wait long for a table. The tables are far apart from each other and sanitized after each party leaves. Our server was very efficient, kind, and helpful. The food was great and surprisingly it was not too hot underneath the tent that they've set up in the parking lot.

Finally have this AYCE close to home ! service was out of this world attentive! especially for lunch time hours ! Food and sides are always satisfying especially if you know your orders ! Ambiance is nice and open and inviting ! cant wait for the pinball room to open !

I could not have been any happier with my time at this restaurant. I've been to many bbq places on both the east and west coast and this place is by far one of the best. Service was impeccable and quick. As soon as we finished a plate of meat, it was taken off our table. Side dishes were delicious and abundant. You can order up to 4 meats at a time and they come out quick. They are also very well portioned. Multiple staff were quick to notice if we needed to change grill tops. We got a couple rounds of the kalbi, brisket, pork belly, and bulgogi. To top it off, a small frozen yogurt at the end of your meal which was so delicious and refreshing. Definitely need to come back here again.

This place is fantastic.! I used to always go to a place that's here locally in SCV called Gogi house and this place just blew it out of the water!! The service here was above and beyond compared to Gogi.! Definitely my new place for Korean BBQ..!!! Wish we had one closer, I'd be there at least 3 times a week! A must try.!

Great Korean BBQ! Definitely our favorite Korean BBQ place since moving to the valley a few years ago. Haven't tried them all yet but we're working on it. This is the part where it would be good if I could mention a couple items off the menu that are particularly good but honestly I have no idea what I'm eating. Wife and kids order a bunch of things, I put them in my face, and I'm happy. Oh and they have deep fried Oreos and pinball machines! Go there, put the yummy food in your face, be happy. (update - still good)

Loved the many banchan options. Meat came quickly. Service was attentive. Food was DELICIOUS. From the fish cake banchan to the beef belly to the fried rice to the shrimp that's already peeled to the frozen yogurt they give you for dessert. It was AMAZING. If we had one of these in Ventura- it would kill Gen BBQ. I'll drive 37 miles for this place any day.

We've been here several times before. We love the experience every time. This time we had brought a cake in to cut for my brother as we were celebrating his birthday. While waiting for our table the attendant up front- Thomas- asked if we'd like for him to put the cake in the fridge, I was surprised but I said yes. We went on to enjoy our dinner we, were finishing up when suddenly my 2 year old nephew started having a seizure while seated in the high chair. It was one of the worst 1-5 minutes of my life. Of all the people who tried to step in to help, there was Thomas again clearing the way for us to get out of the restaurant. It's rare to find people in this world now a days who go above and beyond, Thomas really did that for my family on this day. To the restaurant manager: take care of this man, he's a good one.

Absolutely the best Korean BBQ experience you can find—no one else even comes close. The quality of the meat is top-notch, everything is fresh and perfectly marinated. Portions are generous, so you’ll never leave hungry, and the prices are surprisingly affordable for the amount and quality you get. On top of that, the service is outstanding—fast, friendly, and always attentive. This place sets the standard for what Korean BBQ should be, and it’s simply unbeatable.

This Korean BBQ all-you-can-eat spot is one of the best places to hang out with friends, eat great food, and enjoy some drinks. The vibe is super chill, and the staff are all really friendly and on top of things. Compared to other AYCE and Korean BBQ places I’ve tried, this place stands out. It’s clean, has a huge variety of meats and sides, and everything is packed with flavor. You can really tell the food is fresh. Service here is top-tier — fast, attentive, and never rushed. Sean especially runs the place like a pro. He’s always around making sure everything’s running smoothly, and it shows. Whether you're going for a casual night out or a full-on feast with friends, this spot hits all the marks. Definitely coming back!

The Baseline

The Baseline: For Korean BBQ restaurant the grill meats must be quality, the table set up must be functional, and the accompanying sides must work with the meat. Food: AYCE = All You Can Eat and all I want is protein via meat. The selection of meats at AYCE is wide and varied but we stuck to pork and beef. Garlic Beef was my surprise favorite but the spicy bulgogi was also competing for top spot. The sides were nice but you need to ask for kimchi and radish papers by request only. The meat selection I wasn’t a real fan of was the kimchi sausage and I didn’t get any chicken or seafood. The pork belly and spicy pork belly are awesome on the grill. Service: Great service with constant water refills and we got 3 grill change outs. The entire staff helps out their colleges which makes for better service. Love the teamwork on display. Ambiance: The tables are laid out nicely with good space in between. The restrooms were clean and serviced but they are high traffic so that makes for a constant upkeep task for staff. The real star is the pinball game assortment which is awesome fun while you wait and after you eat.

Our visit here was fantastic. We were greeted once entered. Once assigned a place to sit. Our server continously checked up on us. Occasionally asking if everything was okay, or if we'd like more to drink. Made our whole visit a lot better. Now the food is quite flavorful. We enjoyed everything on the menu except the spicy noodles, they needed a bit more flavor to them, maybe even a bit of salt. Their shrimp dumplings were delicious! Try them out! The special drinks are what you expect at a restaurant. Beers (IPA) $7 , a mojito $17. There is also a section for pinball, quite the choices in there to play and wait the alcohol out. $.50 a game. A nice little touch. Overall our experience was great, it is on the pricey side and there is a 18% additional charge for parties of 6+. We will occasionally be returning.

With our dojo celebrating their belt test as a party of twelve, we went to the all you can eat korean barbecue at this restaurant. We had a great time. It was a nice restaurant and the price was very fair for the amount of food you get. The quality of the meat was very good. There was a little bit of meat that was a bit fatty, but that's okay. My family has gone to koreatown in los Angeles for all you can eat Korean Barbecue quite a few times and I have to say this place was par with these authentic restaurants. I don't usually like "all you can eat" restaurants because I feel the quality of the food is low, but I have to say this place is terrific! I saw reviews were mixed but I found the service really good! We went on a Monday at 5pm so they were just starting to get busy but our server was attentive and we didnt have to wait long to get the grill top swapped or order more food. It was a nice experience coming here for my friends daughter birthday 🎂 and I believe everyone really enjoys it. It was a party of 9 and we were easily accommodated, not a long waiting time. The food was delicious as expected, and the service was on point. The waiter's were on point, no wait time to order more food and deliver to our table. Believe me, we ordered so many times, and the staff always had a smile and expedian. The only issue we had is for the table they should have two burners to cook on because it was a big group and waiting on the food to be cook took time and some didn't want to mix spicy meats with regular. Still I recommend this restaurant and I'm sure your experience will be a wonderful one as well.

Stopped by to dine outside on a beautiful October evening. The wait was short and the service was very good with three servers stopping by frequently to see if we were ready for another portion of tasty meat to grill up. The only downside to their re-envisioned social distancing friendly setup is/was the fact that the pinball machines, which are also set up outside under a tent like the dining is, are only in operation from Wednesday to Sunday... and of course we were there on a Tuesday.

It’s a good kbbq for the west valley. There is a lot of good choices for the whole family. The best part is the frozen yogurt at the end. It always gives our kids a smile and refreshes the pallet

This is probably the better location in the area. I’ve been to their other one in Van Nuys and it’s not as good. Went one time and never went back. I only came here because a coworker recommended it. I was skeptical when he said it’s his spot lol. I’ll say food and service was great. Sides tasted good, AYCE price was quite fair for dinner, portions were not over the top, but just enough to handle with two people. One of the pork options was too salty and got me having to drink lots of water after eating it. We were able to get most of the saltiness off thankfully. Rice paper wasn’t amazing, but typical for the price of the menu. Other than that everything tasted pretty good. They give you a lot of beef tongue which is quite nice for AYCE if you’re into that. Probably won’t return unless I have a friend wanting to go. Not really my spot in the area. Last thing, their complimentary ice cream/sorbet was not good at all. I was so excited only to be let down. I think they make their own, so that’s something they can work on for sure, too.

Friday night dinner at AYCE Gogi was a complete success! The food was delicious, and the service was attentive. Despite the place being packed, we were seated quickly. The ambiance was great, everything was clean, and the convenient parking was definitely a plus!

Pricey in comparison to other places. There was a 20 min wait at 5pm on a Sunday, which is ok, bit surprising considering the area. Plenty of parking in a huge lot. Scale size Chewbacca was neat. Overall, it was good but the price was steep and I feel the same quality exists at other kbbq places. Limited banchan. Sauces were just ok, a bit skimpy.

Lots of tables to eat. We made zero reservation and was seated within 5 minutes. The beef bulgogi regular and spicy is amazing. The fried rice is amazing. Lots of free parking. Military discount offered. Friendly waiter. One star off for discontinuing complimentary frozen yogurt at the end of a meal.

Love this place, their meat choices and chicken fried rice are really good. We would always look forward to the yogurt cup they would give at the end, but they said the yogurt was discontinued which was literally the reason why we would choose to always come here even though it was far. :(

Everything here is still delicious as always — but we deeply miss the complimentary frozen yogurt 😭 It wasn’t just a freebie either — the froyo was so good that we often bought a large container to take home on most visits. Ending the meal with it was part of what made this place feel special. We’re not sure if the machine is down or if it’s been permanently removed, but we really hope it makes a comeback. It might seem small, but it made a big difference

We had high expectations for this place. The food was very subpar. It was fun though because you grill it yourself. So why is the food subpar if you grill it yourself? They season it and it did not taste like Korean food! The japchae was extremely bland with almost no flavor. The bulgogi was pretty awful also. No onions or green onions, way too much salt. And the most blasphemous thing was you DID NOT get any traditional kimchee! The service was good and like I said it was fun.

Ok place for Korean bbq. After sampling several of their meats, I was not blown away. The basil chicken for example after cooked tasted relatively bland. The grills at this location also seem to burn half of the meat ordered. The drunken noodles were also good although not as spicy as one might think. Would probably recommend coming with a large appetite or with big meat eaters. Also note that certain meats ie shrimp are restrained to a certain number of orders per customer. In terms of ambience, it’s really loud and a bit hard to make conversation

Looks like Korean bbq, smells like Korean bbq. But, doesn’t taste like Korean bbq. No flavor!!!

For the price this place should be better. The decor is sparse, the meats were not bad, just not great, the service was good, not great, the side dishes we meagher. I have had a lot of korean bbq, love it as I am a carnivore. GEN is better, cheaper and service is just as good. If you want to stay local and have to drive to GEN, and are willing to pay a little more for a little less, then try this place. The good thing is fried rice and other bowls are included in the all you can eat price (this is a plus) but you go to korean bbq for the meat, the bullgogi (which is not bad here) and the side dishes (which are sparse here). Try it once and make your own judgement of whether it is worth it or not.

Service is OK but takes a long time to clear dishes. Fairly attentive staff. Food was alright quality could be better.

Don’t go in big groups. Food was mid, most sides didn’t taste good. Service was horrible, they all looked like they hated working there. They slipped in a random $34 service charge just for having 6 people

We came out of state to visit some family in town and they took us to AYCE GOGI. We have an all you can eat korean bbq where we live back home so we knew what to expect. However, this place did not meet our expectations. The menu was significantly smaller that what we are used to and we were suprised to see that you couldn't order any veggies. It also took some time to get more food as you have to flag down the server and place an order each time and they don't check ip on you (thr korean place we frequent at home allows you to order from a tablet and your food gets brought to you- much more streamlined). The server was kinda rude to our grandpa as well- not patient at all and very short with us. We couldn't wait to go back home so we could go to a GOOD korean bbq spot. Not impressed and would not return.

This place is new and very disappointing. The portion of the food is very limited. Everything here is very small portions. Check out the meat I ordered and the meat my brother and his girlfriend got. Big difference. No seasoning, no salt, no taste on the miso soup. Rasberry drink was deluted no flavor. You do not eat as you think you will. All you can eat menu is not what you expect.

I’ve been here several times over the past few years and can say the quality of this place has gone down hill. The first couple times I’d come here, I would have told you it was my favorite local Korean bbq, but now I’d say you can get better elsewhere. Their prices continue to go up and the quality of the food has decreased exponentially. It’s a bummer

The meats are good but they all taste almost the same because the variety of sauces they come with is very small (so 90% of the time you’ll keep getting spicy/apple/garlic/black pepper flavored meat). The side dishes are okay. The biggest problem with this place is that after a few minutes the meat you’re grilling starts to burn on the BBQ as seen in the photo (because of the sweet sauce it’s in) and that sticks to your hair and clothes really bad! The hostess was rude and we had to ask for the check three times! We paid $81 (including tax, excluding tip) for all you can eat dinner for a couple. I’m sorry but it’s definitely not worth it…

This place is a joke. Terrible interior, dirty metal chairs like at street tacos place. There was no designer there at all. No any indication of interior or comfort. Meat isn’t good, gyoza taste like cheap French fries cooked on last year oil. Most horrible is there you’ll see in menu Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. I’m so disappointed, worst Korean style restaurant I have ever been. I believe they just pay for its reviews and rating on google. If you expect a real Korean bbq - avoid this place

We expected to be served promptly, but that was not the case. We initially ordered brisket, pork belly, bulgogi, and galbi. The brisket arrived after 20 minutes, but the rest of our order did not follow. We never saw our original server again, so we flagged down another server to inquire about the missing items. He assured us the rest would arrive soon, but instead, 10 minutes later, they brought out two more plates of brisket, which we hadn't ordered. Once again, we had to get the attention of another server to correct the order. The rest of the meat finally arrived 15 minutes later. We spent more time waiting than eating. To make matters worse, other parties who arrived after us were being served while we were still waiting for our food. Throughout our meal, the servers rarely checked on us or offered refills on the side dishes. One server even gave us attitude when we ordered more galbi, questioning our request even though we had barely been served any meat for our table of eight. Policing orders at an all-you-can-eat restaurant, especially with such slow service, is unacceptable. Overall, the service was terrible. The staff needs better management and training on providing adequate service. Additionally, the quality of the meat was subpar and did not taste fresh. I would not return here again or recommend anyone to dine at this establishment.

Ok. This has more noise than a space X launch if your 5 feet away from the rocket. The wait staff is really deliberately avoiding dealing with anyone. They run practically from one end of tables to another. The Shumai is absolutely disgusting. It's like burned eggs cube that looks like a tater tot. The oil is rancid and hasn't been changed in a week. The fried rice is ok, but kinda greasy. Don't expect low sodium soy sauce...they don't have it. Don't ask for Saracha sauce. They don't have that either. Watch out for like 4 people with trash carts THROWING METAL UTENSILS, PLATES, AND VARIOUS. SUNDRIES AS LOUD AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE as if they hate their jobs. The management is totally clueless and complacent to any of these goings on. Bill was: $156 plus tip for this lesson. Never again....

Be careful! they don't remove the crap vein from the shrimp🤮. I Fully expected I would have to pluck the feathers out of my chicken. I will not be returning for the food. On the other hand I will return for beer and pinball.

It wasn’t our first time at this Korean restaurant, but this visit was disappointing. The food and service were far below expectations. The chicken seemed old and frozen, turning dark after grilling. The beef had a strange smell, and the soups were poorly prepared. Service was slow and confusing, it’s supposed to be all you can eat, but orders were delayed, and we waited with cold rice on the table while trying to get more meat. The kimchi wasn’t fresh, and the cucumbers tasted old with too much sauce and seasoning to cover it up. The supervisor did try to help and speed things up, but by then we were already tired and ready to leave. The ventilation was poor, the restaurant was smoky, and the air conditioning didn’t help, not a good environment for children. If things improve, we might give it another chance. Otherwise, we don’t recommend it.

Expect to wait twenty minutes between rounds. You're only allowed to order four meats per round and this combined with the small portions made for a sad experience for our party of four. The food is not bad, and the atmosphere is great. I would be willing to pay instead of whatever it is they're trying to do right now
