Cute little restaurant offering both indoor and outdoor seating. Nice large parking lot. Nice wine and beer list, plus some house cocktails. The black martini was great. Housemade bread arrived shortly after my cocktail. I ordered two appetizers because I want terribly hungry. The artichoke fritters were AMAZING! Definitely try them. Nicely seasoned, great texture and a perfectly crisp, crunchy coating. The lemon aioli they were served on was delicious as well. I also tried the stone fruit salad. It was also very good. Nice ripe peach slices and juicy cherries, walnuts, greens. I did save room for dessert. The strawberry shortcake was comprised of berry compote spooned over light, airy, slightly set biscuits with whipped cream. Delightful!
Thyme Restaurant offers a memorable dining experience, marked by a sophisticated atmosphere and meticulous service. The culinary team takes pride in crafting dishes that meet individual preferences, highlighting attention to detail. The premium prices are justified by the exemplary service, setting, and meals. The garlic oil fries are a notable highlight, demonstrating the chef's expertise. Thyme Restaurant's dedication to perfection is evident throughout.
My wife and I had our anniversary dinner here a few days ago! The gentleman was kind and humorous! The food was top notch! They made me a wonderful lemon cello spritz!
Amazing food. Very nice atmosphere. I give this place five stars. I had a wonderful dining experience. The meatloaf dish was out of this world. So tasty. Very unusual but quite delicious & fresh. I would definitely return to this location when I'm in town again. Friendly staff and a beautiful, a cozy warm lit room. Spacious and inviting...Thyme gets a stamp of approval !!
I've lived in the area for a short time and we have tried to experience all of the local cuisine and this was our first time into Thyme. The space quaint in the ambiance was perfect for a mild dinner conversation. Gary was our server and was very knowledgeable and attentive. One of the main things we loved about Thyme was how much we felt like we were just in our own home taking our time enjoying the food and experience. We cannot wait to go back!
Good fine dining. Their outside patio is a good place for Fall dining. 🍂 🍁 Their shrimp fettuccine was a little under salted, but it was tasty nevertheless. On our second visit, took the sesame pork and ginger meatloaf which was also very tasty. The meat was tender and tasted absolutely delicious with the red wine demi. Special shout-out to Gary for being such a warm person! :) He saved us an apple crisp, which is a delight tbh.
Well prepared plates, super service (from lovely Gary), and an easy access location, make Thyme worthy of the patronage. My partner and I enjoyed fries with garlic aioli, beet salad, spaghetti squash with perfectly cooked asparagus, spinach, and an amazing tomato sauce topped with pine nuts, and a tender halibut plate. We ended our dinner with their warm chocolate chip cookies with Stafford’s organic ice cream and amazing organic coffee.
We were in town for business and heard our dear friend Garrett was one of the chefs so we thought would give Thyme a try! We were pleasantly surprised at the complex and delicious flavors. The Caesars salad was probably one of the best I've ever had. The peppery poiver Steak was the definition of savory. The Atlantic Char was nestled in a subtle white cream sauce that boosted the experience without overwhelming the flavor of the fish. For dessert, we shared a lemon blueberry compote trifle and a rich chocolate tort that was just enough to satisfy that chocolate urge! If you're in the area, we highly recommend stopping by Thyme. Thanks Chef Garrett!

We love this restaurant. Every year we visit, we make it a point to visit this place to dine. This is a gem of a place! The food is absolutely delicious. I normally get the meatloaf and it never disappoints. The meatloaf is so flavorful and moist-delicious!!! My girlfriend had the scallops and she loved her meal. The service was excellent. They took care of us immediately. The atmosphere is really nice. We just love this place.
Such a lovely place, with good food, nice people and wonderful service. My husband and I did not have a reservation here, but they were so kind enough to still let us dine in. And the food was nice as well. We like that they were vegetarian options on the menu. Each of the sauce that came with the dishes were so good !
After a long day of traveling all we wanted was dinner but there wasn’t a place in town that would accept us. Reservations totally maxed out. A lot of places are closed a few days a week and are seating at limited capacity. So if you plan on coming to NH or VT book reservations! This place took pity on us and sat us. It turned out to be the most incredible dinner! Excellent and friendly service from our server. We split the pear salad and the swordfish. They even split it on two plates for us which was nice. The swordfish was so unique and buttery soft. Loved both dishes. Also a good drink selection. Highly recommend this cozy joint!
Enjoyable evening. Small menu with delicious food. Appetizers were amazing, including the seared scallops. I had the beef as main. I would say it was ok. The cut was not the best, and the sauce overtook the meat flavor. Nice ambience, friendly service. I would visit again.
Loved this little spot- the menu rotates weekly from what I understand. The artichoke fritters and garlic fries were phenomenal. I got the steak which was cooked to medium rare just as I wanted, with a gravy sauce and roasted vegetables. It was delicious. The mushroom edamame dish, however, was a disappointing considering it was $21. It was definitely good, but felt like more of a side dish than entree. Drinks were delicious- we got the cucumber grapefruit spritzer and key lime martini (I believe it was a martini- definitely was key lime) Service was quite busy and a little slow which we did not mind. The waitress was transparent about things being a little behind & kept apologizing which was appreciated. Definitely a must eat if you’re in town! Only reason I took off the one star was the veggie dish. Maybe stick with the meat and pasta!!
I have lived in this area for five years, but it was my first time to visit this great restaurant today. The French fries starter was fantastic, crispy and delicious. We ordered two entrees , the duck leg and the steak. The steak was average but the duck leg was great though a little bit small. BTW, the sauce which went with the free bread was a must-try.
Overall good experience! Went with a group of 6 and they were very kind and did not rush us as some of the reviews suggested. The bread and homemade chimichurri was delicious, as were the fries with garlic aioli, but all of us found our meals to be just average. No one had any complaints and dinners were all 20-25 dollars, but nothing extraordinary! Beautiful presentation, but lacking flavor all around.
The restaurant has a contemporary and elegant decor. The food was good and service was pleasant. The menu choices are well balanced with a couple of vegan (or easily adjusted) dishes. The place has a bar but no beer taps for those looking to indulge in a local craft brew. It is well worth checking out. Also their garlic fries are a staple not to be missed.
I was very excited to try out this new local restaurant with some friends who traveled across the country to visit Vermont, but unfortunately I did not have the same experience like most recent reviews said. Service was fine, the waiter was very nice, but the food was subpar. The bread/chimichurri was the one thing that was pretty good. Entrees took 20 minutes to come out. We ordered the linguini, which tasted like there was no seasoning at all, and the pan seared cod was underwhelming: panko/sunflower seed coating tasted burnt, fish was dry, there’s exactly 3 tiny potatoes cut in halves, and a few undercooked broccoli florets. For the price they charged, I was expecting a lot more for the quality. Very cozy atmosphere and friendly staffs, however would not recommend and will not return.
Came here on recommendation of work colleagues. Beautiful aesthetic and decor inside the restaurant. All of the menu items looked really appealing, it was hard to make an initial decision. I decided on the prosciutto sandwich with a side order fries with garlic aioli. My friend ordered the chicken salad with a side order of fries. The fries are DELICIOUS and its also a large portion, recommended for sharing. My friend liked the chicken salad as well. The main entrees come with a simple side salad that was very good too. What was NOT good: the prosciutto sandwich (reason why I took off 2 stars). Somehow it tasted very bland. It could have used some type of tangy sauce on it. It only had arugula, tomato, mozzarella and a very small amount of pesto to go with the meat. I had to use the garlic aioli that came with the french fries to give the sandwich some amount of flavor. I will return to this restaurant, but absolutely NOT for that particular sandwich!! Service was very good and food presentation was great if you see the pictures I posted.
