Food was great! Our server Laci was very attentive and kind, some of the best service for a busy night. Good drinks too!

The food here is quite good. By all standards this is delicious BBQ. The brisket is always tasty and the sides are plentiful. The only thing that’s gives me pause is that the drive in line is super slow. Sometimes during busy periods the attendant will come out for your pre order but most of the time you are ordering and picking up at the same window. Expect the drive through to be slow and the food good.

Took my boys in on a weekday evening after a practice. Brisket was respectable, not craft BBQ level but good, beer was cold, service was good. Will go back.

Highly recommend the cowboy bowl - it was delicious - if you get the large you have enough for another meal. The jalapeño cornbread was the best I've ever tasted!

Outstanding customer service!! We ordered their catering service for 30 people for three consecutive weeknights (business related dinners- pickup). The food was consistently top-notch! Their managers were very helpful during the planning process as well as during the pickup. We will definitely use them again for any of our catering needs.

My family dined in tonight. I usually hesitate taking my kids anywhere in case they’re a little loud or my toddler cries BUT we had THE best waitress! She made us all feel welcomed and even interacted with my kiddos so wonderfully! The food was decent. None of my offspring complained haha. Felt very family friendly and that’s important to us. Thank you Jocelyn for not only giving us excellent service but for radiating such great energy! I hope you’re working every time we come back!

Been driving past this place for a while and finally got to check them out. Great service, great prices and good food. The Ribs were so juicy and tender. Good down home atmosphere. Glad I tried them out. I was thoroughly amused.

First timer and I WILL be back, thanks to Jocelyn. A friend of mine is a regular and told me to ask for her and I see why! She is very attentive and sweet and her recommendations were great. Give this girl a RAISE!!!!

Jocelyn was my waitress and she was hands down the best. So attentive and patient even with my littles. She never let our drinks go empty and was always there when we needed anything. Charismatic and personable. Will be going back simply to sit in her section again. 10/10

I had the brisket tacos at lunch and they were so good! I could eat them everyday. Service was fantastic. Cons: 1. The bar seating is terrible. The stools are so short compared to the bar tables. It's uncomfortable to eat. I'm a tall lady so I can't imagine a short lady eating there. Table would probably be at her chin. 2. The cost was $18 for 3 tacos and a drink with a tiny side.

Open on Christmas Eve for the first time and I'm betting they do it again. Service was great as was the food and my big ole margarita. I had a turkey sandwich - loaded - and they were very generous with the turkey. The gang shared a sausage and cheese tray prior to - jalapeno sausage - I could have made that my meal. Saltines served with tray were super fresh. The margarita was on the rocks with a floater of grand Marnier which is why you see that orange in it. Perfect.

This is one of the best BBQ places I’ve been to. The service is great. The ice cold Shiner Bock is waiting on me when I get to my table. I’ve had several things off of the menu and have been happy with it all. I believe on Sundays they have $6.00 burgers and fries and $2.00 schooners of beer. Several times that I’ve been there they have had live music.

Love their daily special. Great deal & great food! Had the chopped brisket sandwich with beans, fries & drink for $11. I also love their brisket tacos & cowboy bowls. Love going here when I'm doing Keto, I order a 1/4‐1/2lb of meat.

I want to say thank you to the management and the entire team at railhead barbecue in Willow Park. We had our 35th high school reunion there. The room was perfect and the atmosphere was great. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. The prices were reasonable for our group of about 30 people ended up averaging about $22 per plate With only a $100 refundable deposit. This is one of the most affordable places I found to have an event like this. we had plenty of food and many of us got to take plates home. The coleslaw is amazing. The brisket is good and the chicken is good also.

We attended a live music event last night (shout out to Cason Carnley and Clay Carter) and our waitress was Julia. I just wanted to brag about what good care she gave us! There were at least 6 different tickets at our table and that was just one table out on the patio. Who knows how many she tickets she had in at. Every time we ordered another drink or meal, she never complained. She remained nice and patient and got every single order correct! The food was delicious and I feel like everything was reasonably priced! 10/10 recommend railhead!

I tried a few of their options including the chopped beef and ribs; However, the nachos with smoked and then deep fried turkey strips was my favorite. Big portions with bold flavors. The nacho chips are thicker than other places making it easy to handle the dish without them easily breaking. Libations were on point and the service was outstanding!

We love going here when we're driving on I20. They have great food and great service. We had the ribs this time and they were awesome. Try the cobbler and cinnamon ice cream, you won't regret it. Our dogs love going here as well. When we pull up they are happy!

The brisket here is quite good. Second-tier quality at first-tier prices. But the service and atmosphere are pretty good. It is noisy, but i'm certain a lot of people like a noisy place more than i do. The band was outstanding. Travis and Cindy Jo, i recommend them too.

Fantastic nachos! They have a great patio area as well. Sunday's can be a wait after church times. Very cold beer on draft. I would say they need better stools in the bar area, some with backs, I think people would stay longer if it was more comfortable.

The food was OK to good. The sliced beef was tasty but very fatty so be sure to ask for lean if that is what you want. The staff did not as us if we preferred lean and the lean option is not listed on the menu. The jalapeno sausage has cheese in it but again it's not listed on the menu that way and I definitely would not have ordered it if I had known ot had cheese in it. The menu board is a little difficult to read. A more organized menu would greatly improved the process. Both my husband and I had the same feeling about the way we were treated while ordering; It was like they looked at us and treated us as if we didn't belong there. It was really weird. It was late lunch time and when I tried to order a dinner plate with larger portions the meat guy tried to talk me out of it. Whaaaaaat? We wanted leftovers for lunch the next day.

I had never been here before, so when I wound up out here for work, I stopped in for lunch. The sliced brisket sandwich plate was the special of the day so I ordered one. The brisket was very good with a nice smoke ring and good tenderness and flavor. The potato salad was not my favorite, though. My waitress was very pleasant and attentive. I will be back next time I'm in the area.

We did take out. Brisket tacos. Really wanted the Peach Cobbler, they were out. Disappointing. It was okay. Good amount of food. Just regular bar-b-que. It was near our RV park.

Had the Moist Brisket. It had just the right amount of fat, was well trimmed and seasoned. Pretty darn good, man. Staff was friendly, prompt, and polite. Nice and rustic inside, just like a good BBQ joint should be.

I sampled most of their dishes except the steak, but the star of the meal was undeniably the half chicken. The seasoning was mind blowing and I will return to try any dishes I missed. I will avoid the sausage in the future. It was over-smoked and had poor texture. I highly recommend their chicken

The 1/2 chicken Saturday special was great. The chicken was moist and had a little kick to the seasoning and BBQ sauce. At $10, you get good food, a choice of sides and a drink. That's tough to beat, especially for great BBQ. The server was friendly and prompt so the whole experience was great. Thank you Texas!

My friends and I were in town for a wedding and a handful of us stopped in here for a quick meal. Being from a city that doesn't have any bbq joints, we were on a mission to get at least one of our meals at a local place. Railhead Smokehouse BBQ didn't disappoint! First off, Fried Okra omg not something I would ever order but at the suggestion of the staff we did and we're so glad we did. I don't even know what Okra is, but this dish was a good starter. Most of us got the combo dinner so we could try out multiple meats. I ordered the brisket and the sausage and my only complaint was that I couldn't order a 3lb version of the menu item. Our group also shared the peach cobbler that was freaking big enough to serve all of us. Kitchen seemed slightly backed up and that's why I had to rate that 4-stars. I'm not certain I'll ever find myself in this neighborhood again, but if i do I will definitely come back here.

Brisket Nachos were amazing, service was great. We had brisket, ribs, potato salad and Mac n Cheese all were good but flavor just wasn't there for us but meat was tender and the bbq sauce was really good.

I had a bbq sandwich, fries, and an old fashioned. They all tasted exactly like they should have. I was able to exchange money for these products. It pleased me. I was not hungry when I finished eating nor was I overly full. I recommend eating a meal at least once at this place so that you can experience the same satisfaction.

We stopped in for a late lunch. Timing was great, the crowds had cleared out. The server was friendly and prompt. She took our order and had it back to us within 3-5 minutes. The food was very good. I had to have mine reheated because it was luke warm (Cowboy Bowl). My wife's two meat combo was fantastic. It was more than we could eat. The server brought us to go containers and to go drinks without us having to ask. We will be back.

Everytime we have visited we have encounter an issue, we were served old baked potatoes, sent back got another old potato, then we were served all the dry burnt meat instead of fresh. We have tried this place at least 4 times. We won't be back to the one in Aledo.

It was confusing on where to sit. We walked into a private party by accident. There was no one there to direct us. The waitress staff were nice, prompt and intuitive. The servings were huge!! The food was not bad.

We stopped by here while I was visiting a friend in the area. We sat on the patio and service was excellent. Our waitress was seriously amazing! The only reason I gave 4 stars, was the brisket was bit dry and chewy. Usually with good brisket you don't need BBQ sauce... But we needed it this time. My friend and I split our lunch. And neither of us finished the sandwich. Fried okra was great, potato salad and beans were also delicious. But when you're at a BBQ place you judge on the meat... Lol. I'd definitely return when in the area, just to see if it was a one off. Also when you have a nice breezy day in Texas... The patio is an excellent option to enjoy!

I had the Sunday special. Went through the drive through. (Which was hard to hear, volume was too low for the outside traffic) got my food quickly. The BBQ was decent for a fast food type of food and the sides were good also. I liked how they kept the sauce separate from the burger and all the sides. So it wasn't a huge mess when I went to open it up. For under 11$ this was a way better meal than most other fast food restaurants with a drive through. If im ever in the area again and want a quick bit to eat, other than a burger or taco. This is the place I'll go.

It was a really nice place to visit. Super friendly atmosphere, terrific waitstaff and even many places inside and out to enjoy yourself. My only issue is their process. Waitresses do not bring food to your table. That job is left to one person. All of our food was cold. Cold cold- like my baked potato was not even hot enough to melt cheese! Cold brisket on a cold potato? Not today. I'm sure it was just a fluke-a one time thing but still. We asked our waitress to nuke the potato...nope- still too cold to eat it. I'm sorry that it wasn't as enjoyable as it could have been. For a $70 bill, I do expect hot food.

I have the pulled pork sandwich with two sides. It's their Friday special. They only have one kind of barbecue sauce and it tastes like tomato sauce with I don't know, but it's really pitiful that a bbq restaurant has only one kind of bbq sauce. The sides had no flavor which were green beans and mac n cheese. However the mango margarita was delicious

Everything here is great but the food. Brisket is dry and bland. Okra was fresh, but hard. Also unseasoned (Little salt fixes that, no biggie). Sauce was average, not bad? Nice atmosphere, doesn't drown you out with music and noise. Unless you want live music over the weekends!

So this rating should be like 3.5 but that is not an option. This place has potential, could be one of the best, but falls short in the effort department. First, the food... The chopped beef sandwich meat was seasoned to perfection and did not even need sauce. But the bun was soggy. The barbecue sauce is watery. They make fresh chopped fries, the good kind, but they had no seasoning on them. The hamburger was good, but nothing special, and I do not prefer the ciabatta bun they put it on. Second, the service...this is where the place falls really short. So when you first walk in, it looks like you are supposed to go through the line to order. Well you can actually go sit at a table, and a waitress will come serve you if you are staying to eat. They have a sign, but we missed it. The people that were taking orders from those in line were packing boxes up for big orders, and would not even acknowledge us in line until they got good and ready. When I went to sit at a table there were like 4 waitresses standing around doing nothing for 10 minutes. They could have been helping the two that were taking orders from those in line. Then there was the runner boy who was running the food from the kitchen to the tables...He was so rude! My husband stopped to grab me a lid for my cup, and the runner boy nearly climbed over him to get by. He did not say excuse me or anything. A couple minutes later he came back through, and nearly run him over again. My husband is tall and burly. I recommend that boy slow down and get some manners. Third, the atmosphere...it is a really nice place with a fantastic patio, but hard to enjoy it with the staff's frowning faces and flies swarming us. The best thing about the place was the chocolate cake! It was outstandingly delicious! I would go back just to get another piece. My husband and I thought maybe they were just having a bad day. Then he talked to several guys at work...they all felt the same way about it. The place needs heart, someone to instill love and care back into it. It's worth trying, but don't let your expectations be too high.

Used to be great barbecue, but has turned to average over the years. I think with increased popularity and customer traffic, quantity has reduced in favor of quality. But food isn't horrible, still a doable place if other area restaurants are too busy.

Stopped here for lunch with my daughters on the way back to Ft. Worth. Our server was very attentive and polite and the food was served quickly and in pretty good size portions. Unfortunately, my order was wrong, as they brought my plate out with beef brisket instead of the smoke sausage I ordered. As far as restaurants go, this is a decent spot to stop for lunch but the food didn't have much of that tender smoky quality that I've come to expect with good BBQ.

I have eaten some of the best BBQ in Texas and I would say this is more like fast food bbq just not fast. We found a nice spot on the patio that was pretty full. The whole restaurant was pretty busy. Our waiter was amazing, shout out to Dillon, wife had a mixed drink, said it was well made. We waited for at least an hour to get our food, it was busy so I am not complaining about this. My wife had a loaded baked potato and I had a combo platter with brisket and jalapeño sausage, pinto beans, coleslaw and fried okra. The sides were good, nothing fancy but the meat was okay. Not a lot of flavor on the brisket and the jalapeño sausage was better than the brisket. The price for dinner was not bad and I didn't leave the table hungry it was just okay except for our service...Dillon is the man!

This place is always packed which is puzzling bc the food is hit or miss, miss, miss. They can’t get an order correct to save their lives. The meat can be amazing one time and horrible the next 4. Telling yourself never again, only to crave bbq and it’s the only place near. It’s a love hate hate hate relationship

Service was not very good at all tonight. Took over 45 minutes to be served out meal. Once we received our food my steak was way over cooked. Husband had to ask 3 times for tea. I asked for steak sauce and was brought an empty bottle. After trying to find our server for 15 minutes just got some sauce myself. Not real happy about spending $80.00 for a less than a mediocre meal. Very disappointed tonight. Need to find a new steak place.

We’ve been there twice and both times were disappointing. The meats were dry and lacking flavor. The Ranch dressing was just a little thicker than water. My wife asked for an extra ranch because the dressing would flow directly to the bottom. The second didn’t help. She left more disappointed than me and she’s pretty easy going. This might be a nice place to meet a friend for a beer but save your money. Skip on the food.

Probably the worst drive-thru service. The main location in Fort Worth does it so well and organized.I can never quite figure out what is so hard about putting together a to-go order when you have such a limited menu and, especially during the pandemic, with very few inside diners. At least the food is still good.

Decent prices. BBQ left a LOT to be desired…. Got turkey and chicken and we couldn’t tell which was which… one came in gelatinous spears and the other was actually smoked slices but still had a very weird fake texture. Brisket Nachos were dry and did not have flavor. Seems like people enjoy this place more for the drinks/atmosphere rather than the food. Would much rather pay better money elsewhere for quality BBQ.

First time customer. Ordered 2 lbs sliced beef, 2 lbs sausage, 2 lbs ribs and a quart each of 3 sides. Dry, dry, dry and brisket was burnt. It was my dads 90th birthday lunch and we threw most away. I have heard good things so we must have gotten Saturday leftovers. Don’t think we will return. $155 in the disposal.

Chopped barbecue had hard bone pieces in it. Waitress was pushy. The place was dead on Sunday and the waitress acted like she was ready for us to leave. She was in a separate room most of the time sitting down chatting with other co workers. This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend. Not sure if I’ll be returning here again.

Second time in recently and BBQ not good. What happened to your great cue? Brisket and ribs were dry, mushy and tasteless. Bark terrible. Not sure when they came off the pit but look and taste like they have been in the warmer a very long time. Slaw was also not quality. Too much competition out there. Please get back to where you were.

We've had great experiences in the past but this time was terrible. We were there at 1 in the afternoon there was nobody in line in front of me and there were three cars at the drive-thru and it took 25 minutes to get two sandwiches and the sides were wrong and the drink was forgotten until I went back in to ask for it. The person handling the food was also the person handling the money with the same gloves on! The smoked turkey had no smoke taste at all! The ribs were good and they were consistently good but the four or five people that were putting out food were either new or just had no interest in moving things along any quicker. We'll probably be back just for the ribs sometime but it'll be awhile and it definitely won't be around lunch time. Wednesday lunch at 1 with nobody in front of you and the experience was that bad, pretty sad.

Decided to stop in the Willow Park store on a road trip. Grew up eating at the FtW location. I was disappointed with the food. Ordered smoked turkey, but hardly any smoke, looked & tasted like cheap loaf style lunchmeat. Gross! Sweet tea was the best thing I had at lunch. Too bad.

I got a chopped sandwich with green beans and macaroni and cheese. For dessert I had the banana pudding. The chopped sandwich was just ok, it could've been better. Now for the sides. The green beans were very bland and I didn't taste much seasoning to them. The Mac and cheese to me was just nasty. Now to the banana pudding, this banana pudding had the worst bitter taste. For the money I paid to eat this lunch, I feel like it was way over priced for the quality of food I got

The service was amazing! Our food was served cold, and our waiter warmed it up for us. The ribs were extremely fatty. Not at all what they've served in years past. It HAS been about a year since we ate here, but have never been disappointed till now. I'm not sure if it was just a bad kitchen day or what, but I'm definitely not interested in going back for a while.

Terrible service. Messed up my order and acted like it was my fault. Never apologized and brought out the 3 wrong items in paper containers. Never seen her smile or interact with any of her tables. Definitely needs a new job. I so wanted to like this restaurant because of the very nice things I've heard of them doing for their community.

The meat was well cooked, but too spicy to eat for me and the rest iof my party.. The vegetables tasted like they had been sitting in vinegar. The potato salad was good except the pimento, which overpowered most bites. It was too loud to talk and they were super busy. The wait staff was good, but mine disappeared for about 10 minutes and we sat waiting. Food came out faster than anticipated.

My 1st time experience was not that great. Got to Table and had strong chemical smell to where all 5 of us noticed. Only food that was Great tasting was the Coleslaw. Lean Brisket Sandwich and Potato Salad was not decent, but barely okay. Not taste the BBQ Smoke in meat. Overall, I would only go back for Coleslaw and bring a nose clip to avoid the chemical smell. Waitress was on point. Onion Rings were Great as Appetizer.

We’ve had looots of BBQ all over the state. Some good, some GREAT (Hutchins in McKinney, Coopers in Llano ) and some not so good (this place). Had 4 different sides…all subpar. BBQ chicken was passable. Chopped brisket was some of the most undesirable ever. Poppers were the best part of the meal (even though they were straight out of a bag and not made in house). Should have sent the food back but decided to box it up for the pups. They will eat anything.

Potato was cold and leathery. Brisket was dry. Friendly service at the drive thu though.

Just all-around ok/not great. I got the sandwich special - which $11 for a sandwich, 2 sides, and a drink is a good deal, I must admit. However, the Dr. Pepper was not mixed well (which is a tragedy in Texas), the fries were burnt and lacking flavor, the Mac-n-cheese was a little oddly flavored (to be fair, I’m pretty picky about Mac-n-cheese), and the chopped brisket was dry, tough, and didn’t have much flavor. Waitstaff was also not very attentive. I’d love to go back if they are able to tighten the screw a bit.

Typical rustic BBQ house inside. Service was good. The Beer was VERY cold to the point it had ice floating in the frozen mug! The baked potato was old and barely warm. The chopped brisket the served with the potato, was very finely chopped and was terribly dry. Needed lots of sauce to make it edible. The Fish tacos were tasty but placed on a cold tortilla and the fish itself was barely warm. The cowboy bean bowl was just ok and again, barely warm with chunks of dry brisket on it that needed sauce to help it along. I also tried the smoked jalapeño margarita and while the heat was there, the mix they use was some kind of cheap, watered down, bottom shelf junk. There is much better BBQ and food in Texas

Waitress was awesome, Brisket was really overcooked and dry the sides were decent. The chocolate cake and ice cream was amazing! It saved the whole meal. In my professional brisket smoking opinion they need to wrap their briskets after the 1st 2 hours on the pit and slow smoke em at 200 degrees for 45 min a pound and don't trim the fat off.. that holds in all the fats, oils. 2 hours before wrapping on the pit will give you the smoke ring you need anything more then that can be over powering.

Best jerky ribs that I’ve had thus far. I mean. Dry is the word of the day. What makes you think that this is worth selling? Taking people’s money. Can’t be getting that much business and if you are you won’t be for long. The best thing in the plate was the coleslaw. It was unique and seasoned well. The Macaroni and cheese was giving off Kraft vibes. And the pickle spear was good as well. Not worth the time or money. They actually give you a lot of food, but still not worth it.

I had a ham sandwich and chocolate cake today. The cake was dry and my Ham sandwich bread was hard and dry. The guy only put a small slice of ham on it. The other day the food was excellent but not today. I drove from Arlington so I’m pretty disappointed.

They have good food but wait staff is too busy sitting and talking amongst themselves in the back room, you can see them. Service is always slow but today non-existant. Waited 15 minutes and no one came to our table. Mgmt was out walking but didn't care to come by either. We called and talked to management last this happened and they didnt care. Hopefully Dayne's will take over their customers. We are done.

Felt discriminated due to our race! The servers did not seem to want to attend us, and when they did, the server was not providing the service they provided for their own race. With that being said, food was dry and would rather go to Hard Eight BBQ. Price was fair cheap BBQ cheap and low quality food.

We have been sitting here 45 minutes - finally get a salad served to the table BUT NO SILVERWARE - REALLY!!! WOW - FIRST & LAST VISIT IN ONE NIGHT - EVERYONE IS RUNNING AMUK WITH NO CLUE!!! Took an hour and 4 minutes to get our food The waiter was the worst we have ever had - salad no knife, 1 paper towel provided for the 2 of us - we asked for Sweet & Low before our food arrived - we had to go find our own. We asked for a box - we also had to go find our own - we asked for the check - took forever to get and then the waiter never came back for the ticket - another waiter came and took the bill for us. Requested a Manager and have waited 15 minutes for a manager In trying to speak to the waiter I was cut off and told “I do not appreciate the negativity”!! 2 hours and 10 minutes later

I don't usually leave posts but this was the worst restaurant experience we have ever had. I have been here 1 time before and thought it was great so I suggested that this be the place we take our family of 5. We don't get to go out as a family very often but when we do we expect better service than a fast food restaurant. 1.) Our appetizers came literally about 2 minutes before or meal came. 2.) They had no baked potatoes (I'm not picky fries are fine) 3.) We got our food and the burgers that were supposed to have bacon didn't and when my husband asked our server about it the reply he got was "if it's not on there we probably don't have any." 4.) Our girls chicken sandwiches (which were supposed to have bacon) were extremely dry and tasteless. 5.) The buss staff stood right next to our table cussing and goofing off in front of my 6 year old Grandson. So $80.00 later with no apologies or even a how was everything and a ton of disappointment I have decided that staying at home and cooking is the way to go. End of rant. P.s. you might ask your server if they have everyrhing prior to your order because you won't find it until it's to late.

Not sure I’d call it Smoked Turkey. It tasted like fake, processed, pressed meat. No smoke flavor. AND, I was sick to my stomach for the next 3 days. Not going back, sorry to say. Sad because it is a neat place, and the Cowboy Bowl is kinda good. Oh well🥺

Over the past 2 or so years, the food here has become unedible. With the addition of new and pending BBQ joints in the area, I want this fixture to make it but I think I'm done with Railhead personally until something changes.

The bartender was so rude! After ordering a beer 3 times from 3 different people and 15 minutes later, Lily R. finally brought my beer… if she could of slammed it any harder on the table, she would have! I said thank you and she just glared at me and walked off! I have never had a wait staff treat me or us with such disrespect! The tables around us said they were having issues with Lily R. too… Some were regulars and were not happy! We will stay at the Montgomery St location!

What has happened to the RailHead service/waitstaff team. My family and I have routinely gone to the Railhead the last 10 years and always have had excellent service. Approximately 3 months ago we stopped in for dinner on a weeknight, sat on the patio like usual and was never greeted by any of the wait staff as they passed by. Keep in mind they were not busy. After 10 plus minutes we simply got up and left and just chalked it up to maybe a off night. Fast forward to last night and the same thing happened again. The sad part was they were not even busy like they usually are on a Saturday, but this time someone did yell as they were walking by they would be with us and never showed back up. After another 5 or minutes we walked out and went down the street and had the absolutely best service I ever had. Please management get your service back to how it use to be, we love the food! We'll try again...

Cannot give a review on food since we were not served. Felt like Ismael Guzman’s review 3 months ago. NEVER felt so discriminated against in the 40 years I have lived in Texas! Waited and waited for a server. As soon as another couple of white race walked in a server was at their table in 2 seconds (no exaggeration!) guess they do not serve our type. After 15 min and noticed no one was going to serve us we left. Thanks Railhead we know where we are NOT welcome!

My 2nd time to eat here. Disappointed both times. The sliced brisket was dry a tough both times.

Great food, great live music! **Review a year ago. ** Review 9/22/23- We had family come to town last night and wanted to take them to Railhead because the food has always been amazing. We got the chopped beef and slicked beef with a bunch of sides and they were not good. The sliced beef was almost inedible. The green beans had zero flavor and tasted like they came straight out of a can with no seasoning at all added. It makes me sad to know I won’t be eating here again. The live music is always fun, so I’ll probably come back just for that, but will eat beforehand. This was a huge disappointment. What a lousy meal for all of us. I’ll keep checking back for better new reviews to see if anything changes before I try the food again. Step your game up, Railhead.

The Brisket was fatty and difficult to eat. Everything else was really good. Do not buy the brisket. Buy the smoked chicken and all the sides. Then you will be happy.

Not the place for good brisket. We have never really been fond of the food. I guess the appeal is the atmosphere maybe. Figured we would give then another try since they were only place open on Sunday. Hit drive thru for 2 lbs of lean brisket, green beans and okra. Got home to enjoy but thoroughly disappointed. The green beans were the blandest things ever and instead of lean slice brisket we got this pile of fatty, greasy and burnt meat. Couldn't even find a real slice. But at least the okra was good. Really only good food they have. I recommend these "cooks" go check out Cousins for real brisket and to learn how to slice meat. Or take a road trip to Hard 8 or Black's in Lockhart for authentic Texas brisket.

First time and last to eat there. I have had better Texas BBQ in Boston. Cold and old Okra. Cold soggy frys. Cold baked potato, wouldn't even melt the butter. Ribs were not bad but average at best. The kitchen staff know they are plating old and Cold food. The wait staff know they are serving old Cold food. The problem is nobody cares! Ha owner, replace or train your kitchen staff. You set the bar for your staff and make sure they care to exceed expectations. One more thing, even the pickle on the plate was old and soggy. If you can't buy good crispy pickles then make your own. Its not that hard.

Horrible if could give zero stars we would. Husband got buffalo tenders but they came out and were more like chicken nuggets. I ordered the turkey sandwich and it came out in 2 thick slices of turkey that was like black stuff on it. It was so thick and fatty. Also I noticed a smell to it like bad meat or rotten. Couldn't even eat it cause the sour smell to the turkey We will not go back at all.

Walked in to place a to-go order. Order sliced brisket sandwich and a peach cobbler. Came home and had a chopped brisket and no peach cobbler. Why give the customer the option to order what they paid for if you’re not going to place said item in their bag? Hire competent staff.

If I could give no stars I would the chicken was dried out and cold my baked potato was old it had been baked but not today because it had been microwave to warm up. The onion rings were burnt up and 🥶 cold I couldn’t eat anything. Bad experience I will not return! And this is the second time with cold bad tasting food……. The slice beef sandwich was all fatty and cold the baked potato was the same way old microwave potato. If you complain they don’t care very bad business practices

The food is absolutely trash. Tastes like smoke and has no flavor. The sides for sure were reheated, not good at all. This place was good years ago but now it is so gross. Do not recommend spending your time or money here.

this was my first time coming to the restaurant they charged 4.99 for a small cup of banana pudding that was halfway filled. The ribs were old they were like dried out, like ones that you did not sale No so you warmed them up the next day and put out this was a horrible first experience and it was really overrated and the man in the window was nice but he told her a nice lie. The food was not good nor was it fresh. This was definitely a lesson learned. Do not try new places.
