Our visit to this Denny's was definitely one of the best experiences at a Denny's I've had. Our server, Alberto, was on it, and provided excellent service for the duration of our visit. The food was excellent, came out fast, and in very generous portions. Fantastic overall experience with food, customer atmosphere, and staff. Will return again when I'm in the area!

Good American diner. Been coming here my entire life. Love waitress Brenda... so nice to us. Today, Friday morning about 10am the restaurant was free of noise and food was amazing.

It was a holiday and almost everywhere else was closed. Very good service and the food was hot and tasty. Our waitresses popped by often to freshen up our coffee and make sure everything was good. She was very friendly and we had several little conversations with her during her visits. We were very surprised how good everything was figured being the holiday the staff would have been the C string and quality may have suffered but that was not the case.

Love this Denny's! They have floor not carpet which in my opinion is cleaner. The staff is friendly and courteous. The food is delicious. Overall it's a nice and clean Denny's (which not all are) and the staff seem to get along amongst each other which makes it a positive environment with a good vibe! This is my new go to Denny's :)

This was the best service I have ever had at a Denny's. It was extremely busy, and it was great to see the manager out on the floor, helping right along with the wait staff. This place those get busy since the other locations have closed but it is great pricing for good food or a family meal on a budget. Staff was very friendly and very helpful at making our selection of food. I do recommend trying their Horchata milk shake, it's amazingly good!

When I went it was around 7:30 in the morning. I ordered the chocolate chip pancakes with slice's of banana on top, it came with hash browns, scrambled eggs and bacon. The pancakes were excellent. Our server checked on us a few times and made sure we had everything, that we were enjoying our food. Price for my meal with a chocolate milk was a little over $13.

First time at this location and it is my new favorite!! Our waitress Lucia so was nice, friendly, and efficient. I ordered the $8 breakfast special. It comes with two eggs, two bacon, two sausage, hash browns and pancakes. It was so much food that I had some leftover for the next day. The best part about this location is it is 24/7 so you can eat at all times of the day. They had added some outside seating as well if you are more comfortable eating outside.

I would like to commend a specific staff member named Jose who sometimes serves and sometimes is a shift manager. I have known him for years. I've been coming here since 1997 to this Woodland Hills location off of Burbank and Topanga. Jose knows how to manage a very insanely busy restaurant without a lot of staff. Lately it seems like there are less servers, not sure if it's due to hours being cut maybe? No matter when Jose is working he keeps that positive attitude that beautiful smile on his face and everybody adores him. He is stellar and goes above and beyond for every patron that visits this location. I go to this location a lot and when he is working, I feel better from rough days. His positivity is infectious. We were in a bad car crash just before our wedding day so we got married just next to where we are staying instead at a park, and exhaustedly skipped over to Denny's just after with our very small wedding party to grab a bit to eat before retiring to our place to rest. We did not expect the lovely reception we got from Denny's. From the moment we walked in, both the staff and the customers warmly greeting us with kind words of congratulations and clapping, our waitress Lucia was super sweet and attentive, and even brought us a wedding cheesecake slice on the house. Later, when we were sorting the bill, it turns out a good Samaritan donated $20 to our bill! We were just so surprised and not expecting such a lovely time from such an unfortunate and unexpected situation. But the food was delicious, the service was great, and we had a wonderful time, thank you Denny's :)

For those of you who don’t know I cook for a living so after working on thanksgiving I wasn’t about to cook. So my wife and I decided to go to Denny's for dinner. They always seem to be open and they bring back memories. My wife and I first decided to try the location on Tampa and Nordoff. We walked in and there were several people waiting at the counter. They were there to pay or to be seated. We watched several employees walk past, look at the crowd and keep on walking. After being ignored for a while we left and began to look for other locations. That’s when I started to see that most Denny’s have 2 or 3 stars with one exception at least in our area. This location has 4 stars and it’s obvious to me why. We walked in and were seated immediately. Our server Angel was attentive and friendly. My wife and I both ordered the turkey dinner. I went with hash browns and seasoned fries for my sides. The gravy and seasoned fries are a perfect combination! Thank you Angel for great service!

This restaurant is being extremely safe during this pandemic. I was impressed with every single staff member that I interacted with this Saturday morning all super friendly, welcoming and genuine interest to assist customers. I phoned/ordered for pick up my fav 'Moons Over My Hammy' and the food tasted great. They currently have outside seating if you want to stay and eat your meal. Dennys is one of my go to breakfast places. They have held the line on the prices for their slam breakfasts through all the drama of the last few years making them now the best deal in breakfast around. The food is good, and the waitress and busboy we had today were GREAT! Plus the coffee is excellent, which is rare in coffee shops. Expect a wait on weekend mornings.

This place has great breakfast options for adults and kids. The only gripe I have about this place is that they mess up your order frequently. Other than that the restaurant is a good place to get some breakfast and they have Claw games to entertain your little ones and friendly service. Coffee is always hot. Final recommendation is to get more cooks to help with the orders and servers make sure to get the orders correct.

It's more of a 3 1/2 stars. The restaurant is clean and well taken care of. Most of the time is busy, due to it being smaller than other Denny's and the fwy entrance is right across. Which is good for business. The food is great. The service is okay, but you get to hear the employees argue back and forth right in front of your face when you're there to have some food with family and friends. The waitresses don't check up on you but once, most of the time you have to look for her/call her/ go and ask her for something and for the check. We're not the only ones that have gone through this. We see others asking for their waiters or waitresses. They need better employees with actual good customer service.

It's normally good work great service. However, this time the waitress was trying to be uber efficient, so wouldn't slow down and listen to me. She then rang me up for the wrong item. I noticed it when paying the manager. Told him I had the regular all you can eat pancakes, not the more expensive ones. He said he needed to validate it with the server versus just taking my word for it. I'm in there every Saturday and this was the first time it was such a marginal experience.

My server was okay, he told us to come find him when it was time to order instead of him coming to see if we were ready. When I went to find him the woman at the front was rude when I tried to talk to her. Definitely wouldn't come back for that

Our server was fantastic! Quick, helpful, nice, and funny. My food came out a little cold, which was sort of expected at a Denny's, but I forgot how bad it'll mess with your stomach. I didn't go to the bathroom for 3 days after, and not for lack of trying. I don't think I'll be going back, but I will say that our server should become the manager. I wish I remembered his name.

The food was average, the service was friendly and we were served at a reasonable pace. I ordered steak and eggs. The t-bone steak was better than my previous visit but not great. Others in my party raved about the pancakes. 15% discount for AARP was nice. Prices overall were reasonable.

I know it's not a Michelin start restaurant however they have good food and nice portions.....but when it comes to the servers it leaves much to be desired.....our server was more interested in her phone so she had to check her messages often and then talk to staff about it......how did that affect our meal? Ended up getting our salad at the same time our main course so the food got cold......and the server never brought over the side orders......its sad that it takes one person to ruin other people's time.....👎👎

Very standard Denny's location. They were very busy on a Saturday afternoon, as expected. I ordered the chocolate chip cookie dough pancakes with a side of cheddar cheese hash browns. The pancakes were good, but really sweet and very filling. The hash browns were okay, I was hoping for some more flavor/cheese. Also I would say that the service is mediocre here, the staff seems very busy and is just happy enough to give your food and leave right away.

Service is good, always love the coffee. The menu however has seriously declined over the years. Every item was served 24hrs before and now savory items are only served after 11am. Late night trips to Denny’s are over lol.

What started as a 4 star review quickly became 2 stars. Waited a long time to be seated, but they were very busy. Probably the busiest Denny’s I’ve ever been to. Once seated, Doreen took my order quickly. The food was served in decent time. No complaints on that. The mashed potatoes were runny, but tasted good. The corn was great. The Salmon looked good, but the bottom layer of skin was way overcooked. As busy as they were, there was no way I was waiting for another one to be cooked. It tasted good, just never expected to have to use a knife to cut salmon. So all of that inclusive earned a 4 star review. The knockdown came at the end of my meal. They allowed a pet to be brought in to the restaurant and seated the couple. It’s a clear health code violation in accordance with “California Health and Safety Code Sec. 114259.5”. I had to look it up to be sure. The dog did not have on a service animal vest. So it was merely a pet. These practices have gotten out of hand and need to be stopped! People should start bringing per snakes into restaurants. I bet that would be an issue, so why isn’t a pet dog? I’m not a dog hater either. We have 2 small dogs, but they don’t belong in restaurants!! I forgot to add that Doreen was good, but there was a waiter that was handling a large group. He was a rockstar. He wasn’t the manager as far as I know, but he was orchestrating a lot of the communication between the wait staff and the kitchen. He was also fluently bilingual. Even though he didn’t serve me, I could tell he was top notch with customer service and managing employees. I wish I had caught his name, but it still needed said because employees like that are very hard to find now. Hold on to that guy.

Upon my arrival, waitress Doreen blatantly ignored me as she was preoccupied with flirting with a male customer leaving the establishment. She only acknowledged me after another waiter intervened. I overheard her thanking the intervening waiter and explaining that she was trying to gather more information from the man she was flirting with. She also made comments about customers walking in and expressed a preference for a slower pace. I was taken back by her discourteous and complaining behavior, which was creating an uncomfortable atmosphere among workers and customers. Thank you to the waiter Francisco for providing excellent customer service and catering to my needs as a customer.

I asked to use a the ladies room. I was met with hostility from the manager. I have used the same diner before. I offer to buy a hot chocolate so I can use the bathroom. That was not good enough from him he said it was for customers only. I was the customer if I was buying a hot chocolate. Denny's has been a part of my life for safety reasons. Restroom are clean. Food is ok. Staff depends on time of day. I will never go back again. I eat at Denny's at least five times a month for the past 10 years. A white man with a ponytail to discriminate against me. I'm a breast cancer survivor thank you very much and I'm 61 years old. Learn to respect the elder crowds. I noticed that the restaurant was filled with over 50 crowd. Kind and gentle touch like our mother taught us young man.

Showed up enjoy breakfast while on vacation. The place is really small. There were initially 2 parties ahead of me. We were a party of 7 and expected a small wait for a table that size. As we were waiting more and more people began showing up and got seated. A party larger than ours was seated before us. When we went up to ask what was going on and why we were still waiting. The server stated he thought we had already been seated and gave our table away and expected us to wait longer. This was very upsetting and we chose not to stay. After PATIENTLY WAITING for nearly 45 mins for just two pancakes, my girlfriend and I raised a question regarding one of the prices on the receipt. He said out loud that we should know the price as "it's written right there in our face". Not once did Jose come to our table to apologize for the delay nor did he ask if we needed anything else during the extended wait. Shout out to our server Brian who was great and thanked us for our patience. Also, props to Doreen who unfortunately was belittled in front of dining customers by Jose as she tried to speak with us regarding the price dispute. The only thing Jose offered as a manager to paying customers and his hard-working staff is a disgusting attitude and traits of narcissism. Denny's must do better because you just lost two customers. had David as my server when I ordered a steak with sides and asked to change one of them. He was extremely rude for no reason, so much so that, after a lot of back and forth, I eventually had to leave due to his attitude. I’m not a sensitive person, but his behavior was beyond impolite—aggressive and disrespectful. I’ve been coming to this Denny’s for the past 20 years and have never experienced anything like this. I hope not to encounter such an attitude at Denny’s during my next visit.

around 12am on august 11th my partner & i placed an online order for 2 super slams. firstly, between the two of our orders, we found we were missing THREE pieces of bacon? my partner got 2 sausages & 2 bacon... & there was no bacon in his box. i had all pieces of bacon, & mine only included three. secondly, i had ordered my eggs sunny side up. as you can see from the photo, there is quite literally an obscene amount of egg whites there. sure, i can understand the presence of some egg whites, but the left egg has legitimately an inch of raw egg white surrounding the yolk. so, we had to drive back, which caused the interaction that lead me to writing this review in the first place. a gentleman with a buzz cut at the register heard our grievances, looked at the eggs, & proceeded to try to convince both my partner & i that the eggs were perfectly fine, & that sunny side up eggs have runny whites & if we wanted the whites cooked through we should've ordered over medium..? do your workers not know how to ensure quality control... or simply cook eggs? i didn't want to argue back in the store, due to customers being around & it didn't feel worth it to sit here & fight back with this guy over some eggs, so we took the (very greasy) over medium eggs & got the missing pieces of bacon. also! asked for hash browns extra crispy & only the edges felt the slightest bit crispy, with the entire middle being incredibly soft. it is abundantly clear you do not care about your customers nor do you care about the quality of the food you are serving. raw eggs & 3 missing items, & your workers want your customers to eat raw egg whites? either your employees are trained to gaslight, or are entirely clueless about what they're serving. unacceptable & beyond disappointing. tldr if you don't want salmonella ask them to overcook your eggs!

Today i wanted to redeem my birthday breakfast and i informed the waiter that was my plan. He did informed we could select from the value slam i ended up ordering something a super slam that was not incluided in the birthday promotion. The waiter Abner failed to inform me even after i statef it was my birthday. I dont understand why you advert the promotions and dont honor them properly.

I went there earlier tonight. I was there around 10:30pm on July 6. The food was great but the waitress mocked me to another server while getting me water. What happened was she came to my table asking for my water so she could refill it, but I wasn't ready to have my lemon water diluted, so I took 3 more seconds to quickly drink more of it before she took it away - which she did impatiently while grabbing it around the rim instead of lower on the cup, which is unsanitary. I then saw her refilling my water at the beverage station and mimicking me to another server the way in which I had just been quickly drinking through my straw. She shouldn't be making fun of a customer, but if she does, she should at least be smart enough to make sure the customer doesn't see her do it. That hurt my feelings and I won't be going back to this location. Most of the reviews I give are 5 stars and very positive, and I'm sad to have to give my first 1-star review here.

Server didnt want to take my order because he was alone and there wasn't enough staff. What a lazy server !! Bald headed guy around 6am .

I called in and asked before going all the way there if they accepted EBT, he told me yes they do I get there and ALEX G. looks me up and down and says No EBT!....people like him should be ashamed of himself.

Even though I wanted to eat there, they gave me packaged food, I didn't want to go, they didn't even put a spoon and fork in the package they gave me.

I always go in & get the same meal, sub pancakes. Today, I went in & it was a guy I've never seen before telling me I can't do substitutions... I walked out & will not be back.
