Absolutely phenomenal place the only issue was having to leave. Through my 62 years of living I have never felt so welcomed and at home within an establishment. Wish I could give you six stars, truly an Irish pub for the ages

Great spot for a casual drink with locals. Had been several times but only truly received the best experience when Tara was working. Of the bartenders I’ve encountered at this spot she’s the most personable and provides amazing fast service. The drink prices are reasonable and consistent with the remaining pubs in the area. Hopefully the new spots opening up don’t ruin that for everyone. Atmosphere is unpretentious and the bar is frequented by locals. Good way to get to know the people in the neighborhood. Location is perfect for after work drinks as it’s close to the 7 and LIRR stations. Stop in for a swifty!

Cold afternoon. Empty stomach. Best decision I made all day was walking into F. Ottomanelli Burgers & Belgian Fries 🍔❄️ Sal, the owner, was there like an old-school NYC legend, telling stories while the staff treated me like family. That already put this place ahead of the game. I ordered the Double Otto Butcher Burger — double brisket & chuck blend, bacon, Otto sauce, lettuce, tomato. Absolute beast of a burger. You can taste the beef blend, cooked perfectly, no nonsense, no shortcuts. This is how a real burger is supposed to hit. Belgian fries? Crispy, hot, flawless. No notes. Old-school atmosphere, genuine hospitality, and serious food. Next time I’m going for the steak and bringing a tomahawk home like a grown man 🥩 📍60-15 Woodside Ave, Woodside, NY This spot earns respect.

I really can’t overstate how good the burger is here. Seriously incredible quality meat and expertly prepared. Truly the best burger I’ve eaten and I normally prefer smash style. No condiments needed, I will permanently be changing my route to the LIRR so I can eat here as often as possible :) Nice old school atmosphere and very friendly service

The steak (also burger) here is super good with reasonable price. The taste of the steak and the smell of the flatiron pan is so blessed. The lamb burger is also surprisingly delicious. The staffs are super nice and friendly :)

I am so glad my son found this place and we went there to eat the owner and the employees were so kind the people the customers were unbelievably polite. This is a place. I would love to go again and I recommended to anyone who goes around there the meat was absolutely delicious. also, they give you these two unbelievably delicious pieces of thick bacon and it was just amazing. The salad was delicious. The french fries were great.

You absolutely can’t go wrong with steak from the legendary Ottomanelli family cooked to order. The sides were solid (especially the truffle fries). My group dinner was a huge hit. It’s a very casual, non-stuffy atmosphere. If Frank Ottomanelli is around, say hello and ask him to show you around the meat. BONUS: you’d pay way more for the same steak dinner in Manhattan or Peter Luger.

One of the best dry aged steaks I’ve ever had. It truly rivals those from much pricier steakhouses. No need for extra seasoning or sauces, just ask for salt and pepper! I asked mine to be medium rare and it was perfectly executed. The flavor of the meat really shines through. The lady at the cashier and the butcher at the back were so kind and accommodating to me. I ended up buying raw meat to bring home via train! It’s that good. I definitely will be back to try the burgers and get some more steak for home.

Eating here was a great experience. Being able to point out what cut of meat you want to eat is a next level move. Everything was cooked perfectly and it’s honestly better than a lot of steakhouses I’ve been to.

A gem for years. The owners were butchers by trade, but people liked the ground beef so much they decided to start selling burgers. Fantastic value for a reasonable price. Might be my favorite burger in Queens. There’s a butcher’s counter in here, and they’ve got a special where you pick a cut of meat and the cook it for you on the spot. Comes with sides too.

This is the best burger in Queens, I’ve been wanting to come here for a while. But it’s always busy. I walked in around 4pm on a Monday, I just wanted a burger what I got was much more. The person working the counter was suggestive and kind. She recommended the jam burger. It was perfect. I got a sauce of fries they were hot and delicious. I topped it off with a Diet Coke. I highly recommend this place. Try time come when it’s quiet. You’ll have the place to yourself. It’s a restaurant style burger without the fuss and with faster service. 🫶🏽

A butcher shop serving fresh burgers, fries and yes even steaks by the ounce. You know for sure the meat is absolutely fresh and they do cook everything you order to perfection. They even have burger and steak lunch special which is an absolute steal. They also offer dining in area where table service is provided and the employees are just a delight. This establishment has been in the Woodside community forever but really exploded in widespread popularity recently due to social media. I can’t wait to revisit for a juicy custom order by weight steak.

We visited F. Ottomanelli Burgers and Belgian Fries for our Valentine’s dinner since my roommate was craving for meat. The decor is narrow-spaced with limited tables but I love how they prepared for Valentine’s Day. They serve a great variety of poultry options. We had their Porterhouse Steak for 2, Cream Spinach and Belgian Fries. The prime steak was dry aged for 21 days with reasonable price. The steak was grilled properly, soft and extremely tender. It might not be the best steak we have ever had but really decent with its great price so we definitely will visit again.

This is a great family owned business. The owner (aka the butcher) does an amazing job with his meats and all the burgers are top notch. I will definitely go back here. The Belgian fries are great! The store is clean and everyone was friendly. I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting a quality burger or other meats to take home and cook.

The staff is always pleasant and accomodating and donuts are always fresh even late at night. The coffee could be better, I don't know if it's because of the water or the styrofoam cups, but it does not taste the same as in the city.

Friendly, affordable. Super close to train. It's pretty clean and has one of the better outdoor cafe areas of any bar in Woodside. This is a good place to meet your friends coming in on 7 train or LIRR. Queens local vibe

This is an amazing burger! You can taste the blends in beef that they use, cooked to perfection! Next time I’ll try the steak & bring a tomahawk back home! This should carry the title “Best Burger in Queens”

It stopped in with a friend to grab a drink and maybe get a quick bite to eat. They don't serve any food (I'm only assuming that because the bartender never approached us) so we left.

Quintessential neighborhood bar. If you're looking for something more than around seven mediocre taps and sports on cheap tvs, look elsewhere. The bartenders are lovely and welcoming in my experience.

I have been to this restaurant a few times, and when it comes to steaks and lunch specials, I have no complaints — everything has always been solid. However, today we decided to try the burger lunch, and it was disappointing. First, the cashier was unaware they even had a burger special, despite the advertisement clearly posted at the entrance. Second, she rang up two identical orders at different prices, explaining that one had fresh onions instead of grilled — even though both burgers were exactly the same. As for the burger itself — it was completely flavorless. The meat seemed to be unseasoned, with no noticeable salt or pepper. It tasted bland and unfinished. In short: stick with the steaks, skip the burgers — not worth your money.

Steakhouse in the city are cheaper than its place and tastes way better. They said the steak was 48 oz no way was 48 oz I've been to a lot of steakhouses I can't even finish a 24 oz. They ripped me off I think it was a 16oz. They charge. The flavor of the steak was good but not as juicy as a steakhouse. steakhouse prices and it's a little butcher shop it should be half. Osso steakhouse uses cast iron pan and the outside is nice and charred in the inside is juicy where over here it looks like they made it on the barbecue. the price that I was charged.

I used to have a French fries and burgers from there since long time ago Today I stopped by and order a veg burger and French fries to go And French good but veg burger is not proper cooked So disappointed

I honestly don’t know where to begin I stopped in last Friday for the steak special it also happened to be my birthday so I figured why not I pass this place all the time when I walked in no one greeted me the seating setup was awkward two guys were taking up the big middle section another customer sat in the back and the only other seats were right by the door with no real comfort or atmosphere I probably should have left but I decided to give it a shot after I ordered the food started coming out in random waves first a side dish appeared with zero explanation and trust me you wouldn’t have known what it was either a few minutes later came the loaded baked potato which was basically a gluey mess of cheese and bacon then finally the steak supposedly the star of the show it was cooked fine but only one side had a proper char I’ve had better beef but at least it wasn’t overcooked I ordered a ginger ale and some water but they didn’t have any ice not sure what that’s about a steakhouse with no ice and to top it all off I spent half the meal swatting at flies one even landed right in my potato mess I finished my steak skipped the sides and still tipped the girl at the counter because none of this was her fault she did what she could she just wasn’t trained to deliver real quality service trust me I don't normally write reviews like this but this place just rubbed me the wrong way at one point this might have been a good place my the care and love it gone!!!

I used to come here during my college year in 2023 but I visited today as my friend wants some good burgers and it was so disappointing. Bun was worst than supermarket one and taste like old bun and they didn't ask about my meat and gave me a dry all well done meat plus my friend said it's the worst bun they had. Not coming here again and sorry that you business is going down 👎
