It was very easy and convenient to order online and have my order ready to go when I arrive. Although I was late to pick up my order, I was pleasantly surprised that my pasta was still hot. Great local Italian food that is always fresh when I order.
Very nice! Had a Sunday lunch here and enjoyed the food very much - we shared a chicken parm and bruschetta - both were excellent. Their complimentary garlic bread was also wonderful, soft and flavorful. Our waitress was busy but attentive. Lunch for 2 with split entrée, salads, and appetizer ~ $45 w/o alcohol.
Small, intimate family restaurant. We came on a weekday during a dinner rush, so service was a tad delayed, however they made it up with charisma! We loved the food, the bread was extra garlicky just the way we like it. My husband got the baked pasta trio and ate every bit of it. He always complains about Italian places not having enough meat in the meat sauce, but he said they did a great job!
We decided to try a small Italian restaurant in downtown Wylie called Villa Vinci after reading some great reviews and we’re so glad we did! From the warm service to the delicious food and dessert, everything exceeded our expectations. We started with the calamari appetizer, which was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. For our main courses, we tried the lasagna, chicken fettuccine, and chicken penne arrabbiata, each dish was rich, flavorful and clearly made with care. Their homemade garlic bread was fantastic and the tiramisu was truly out of this world. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Villa Vinci to anyone looking for authentic Italian food in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.
We love the atmosphere, complemented by elegant decor with Italian music playing softly in the background. The windows offer picturesque views of downtown, making it an ideal setting for a dinner date, a girls' day out, or a father-daughter outing. The service is warm and attentive, ensuring a welcoming experience throughout your meal. We highly recommend it and are pleased we had the opportunity to visit.
Amazing food and service! We went the day after July 4th. Environment felt cozy and the staff made sure we were well taken care of. Ordered the lasagne and the calzone and … the tiramisu!! Everything was cooked so perfect, delicious and just how you think of a true Italian food. 100% recommend and will be back!
Quaint, little, Italian restaurant in the heart of historic Wylie downtown! Perfect atmosphere, service, and food. Yaya, our waiter, was courteous and very attentive, made the experience. Food was phenomenal. Got Caesar salad and meatballs for apps and chicken parm and eggplant parm (over mashed potatoes instead of pasta to make it gluten free) and they were all incredible. Tasty chocolate cake afterwards, too 😋
Relatively small Italian restaurant in downtown Wylie. Restaurant and restrooms are very clean and and in good order. Restaurant was very short on staff when we were there, yet they were able to provide our food in a very timely manner even though they were slammed. All of our food and appetizers were very good quality and very tasty. Subsequent visits were even better. Highly recommend.
The food was great and the staff made us feel very welcome! Service was excellent! Would love to go back again! Was in town visiting family, we had a good sized group for an afternoon lunch today :-) Looking forward to trying the dessert there sometime in the future! Lots of parking in the lot behind the restaurant!
Food: great. Service: great. Ambience: great. Our server was the sweetest person. She was down to earth and honest. We ordered the chicken murphy and pasta alfreno, both were really good. The bread was hot and tasted yummy. The chocolate cake was out of the world. Everything was perfect and we loved it!!!
Stepped right out of Wylie and right into Italy. We came for the craft show and left speechless by this hidden gem. This is not even close to average. Villa Vici sets the bar then surpasses it. The two gentlemen running the front have impeccable customer service. Some of these subpar reviews had to be on something. The waiter was excellent, my compliments to the chef. A touch of Parmasean and a sprinkle of pepper flakes and an explosion of delicious, my taste buds were having a party. We started of with the garlic bread. Warm olive oil, butter and a sprinkle of Parmasean. Soft and fluffy like the person who made this was ordained for just this reason. The Fettuccini Piemontese, there are no words to describe these noodles. The respect this place deserves for making these from scratch, if you know how homemade noodles taste you know. The steak was cooked to perfection as it it called the garlic, onions and peppers to join in on the festivities. The demi glaze and touch of cream accented this dish like a Maraschino does to an Classic Old Fashion. Last but certainly not least the Pasta Alforno was THEE best I've ever tasted. Fresh mushrooms, thick bacon and the chicken, the chicken was superb. The white wine sauce tied and Mozzarella tied it all together like Chef knew this dish was meant to be. There are different variations of this dish, this bar a landslide to me the Best 👌. Side note: Calamari didn't make it to the photos well because I ate it. The Tiramisu didn't make it either, guess you'll have to go in and try it yourself. And just to appease the haters, great food takes time, if you want fast food go to the garden. (OLIVE)
One of the many date nights my wife and I go out on. We live in Rockwall and like to travel around to find good food. We were walking the strip and based our decision on the people eating as we looked through windows. Everyone here had a smile on their face and even the servers looked happy, so we gave it a shot. WOW, are we ever happy that we did. Just an amazing experience all around. The food was fantastic, like, seriously fantastic. We got to chat with one of the owners, and he was so very kind and was very happy to be cooking great food and bringing smiles to peoples face. We will be back, without a doubt!!
We love Villa Vinci but either they have changed cooks or ingredients. Prices have increased of course, but appears ingredients are decreasing. Food did not taste the same and was dry. Pasta Alforno.
