Best Italian food in the area! They have options for regular serving sizes which are pretty large or family style to meet everyone’s needs. Food was delicious! Definitely go upstairs to dine for a more a cozier atmosphere. The chicken parm and penne vodka was my favorite .
Always amazing always consistent.. Always yummy..
I recently hosted my parent’s 50th anniversary party at Carlos. It was an amazing event! Everything went so smooth and all the guest were raving about Carlos! The food was beyond delicious! Everything was so tasty and everyone truly enjoyed the meal! The staff was exceptional! They were so attentive and accommodating! They went above and beyond to make sure everyone had what they needed. The staff were so friendly and helpful which truly can make or break an event. I would love to host another event there would highly recommend it!
They serve pizza take-out downstairs and Italian dine in upstairs. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. We went upstairs and ordered pizza from the downstairs menu. It was amazing! Thank you for a wonderful dinner!
Very tasty pizza , the sauce , the bread , the cheese . Carlos knows what he is doing .
A Great Pizza Restaurant I have been frequenting for years when living in Yonkers. I make it a point now to stop by the takeout side of the building when in the area. The restaurant has great food but can get crowded seating wise. I recommend stopping by to try it out.
Only been to this place twice, and I have a feeling that it'll become a regular lunch spot for me. First time I came, it was a recommendation from a friend to try their drunken chicken parmigiana. Today, I dropped by to see if I could get that same thing, but on a wedge. While it wasn't in the menu, they were willing to make it for me. That being said, it was exactly what I was hoping for! The sauce is just like I remembered, and the chicken is cooked fresh, so it's still crispy despite the sauce and cheese. Definitely check it out if you ever get a chance! I know I plan on being a regular there!
Our waiter, (unnamed) was very polite, prompt and attentive. His assistant staff were also of the same caliber. This was a party of 4. My second time there, the others quite more frequently. Our meals were superb just like my first time. Our other quests have praised everything on the menu that they have ever had. The portion sizes were very satisfying. My guests noticed several people that they have seen previously at Carlo’s. Apparently they have a cult following. Add us to that list.
They are a consistent great quality restaurant. The food has been and is delicious. The customer service is always professional, warm, and helpful. Proud to support this long-time business!
The best Italian food and great service and warm welcome always from the owners
I've been coming here for as long as I could remember, never disappointed with the food. We come all the way from long Island for the chicken parm.
Chicken parm was sooo good! And service was amazing (shoutout Charlie!)
The experience was wonderful. The food is super delicious and the servings are huge, so make sure you're really hungry 😉. Our server was excellent. Will definitely return.
A relaxed atmosphere, servers that are not only consummate professionals but also, and I mean this as the very highest compliment...they're nice and helpful. The food: I ordered a shell steak and it reminded me of why some cultures venerate the cow. To say this steak was perfection would be an understatement, it was both perfect and 2x as big as I would've assumed. No need for a side dish this steak is BIG.
I really enjoy this place. The food is delicious. I really loved the lasagna, and the Sicilian slices are also delicious. Try the chocolate chip lava cookie for dessert. The service was good. There is a big parking lot at the rear.
The food is excellent! Even the house salad that is made with their own dressing is great. The portions are big and you will most likely end up bringing half your entrée home to enjoy later or the next day. Service was very friendly and the restaurant has a cozy atmosphere.
Order takeout for Christmas for me and my husband and son. We tried to be healthy and stuck with grilled chicken three ways. One was with escarole garlic and oil, the other two were broccoli rabbe and regular broccoli with garlic and oil. My only complaint was that my request for three side salads was not followed and we got three pastas instead which none of us ate. But everything we did eat was delicious. Including the baked clam and stratocelli soup appetizers.
The exact dinner we needed. Chicken parm made my child happy and the Shrimp Fra Diavolo was excellent. I've lived out of the NY area for a while and missed real Italian food. Server was kind and accommodating. They were very busy because of graduation and a private party but the service was still fairly quick and definitely courteous. It felt like being home!
I love Carlo’s. I’ve only ordered delivery (though the place is always packed when I pass by) and I’m never disappointed. Baked ziti and chicken parm are my standbys but the pizza is great too. Just to illustrate something, I order two hot dishes and a salad and they put a plate in between the two when they packed it so the salad wouldn’t get hot. It’s the small things that add up with this place.
Best Italian restaurant in Yonkers. I've been going to Carlos for most of my life and they are consistently delicious. Meals are amazing and big portions. Great pizza too! Special shout out for my chicken franchise. Best in the city! Specials are always changing and delicious. Service is good. Plenty of parking but you might not get a spot that close and will have to walk a bit. The restaurant is on the top two floors and their pizza delivery service is downstairs by the parking lot. They have a ton of seating and a party room on the top floor. Great for parties, dining in or take out. One of my favorite restaurants. It's such delicious comfort food!
So after Covid started haven't been able to go out with my son he's 13 and this is his favorite place so finally we went on a date and he was very happy, he said at Carlos Restaurant they have taken all the measurements and precocious to be covid safe from the moment you walk in plus Christie is an Amazing waitress there she knows him since he was little he feels like home here and the food is amazing we always end up taking home. Love this place ❤
We had a delicious dinner at Carlo’s Restaurant in Yonkers Norm was our waiter and he was not only gracious and professional but he recognized one of our friends and described him as the best high school music teacher he ever had! We were blown away by their family style chopped salad and everything we ate was exceptional. I had the citrus seasoned sesame salmon that was so good that I begged Norm to try to get the recipe from the chef! It’s a very casual restaurant with exceptional food at affordable prices. I was pleased to have our table surrounded by plexiglass! We felt safe and socially distanced while we celebrated our fantastic dinner.
Bottle that sauce and take me to heaven! Best family dinner/birthday celebration we’ve had in a long time. I had to take one start away because there was only one waiter for the entire second floor. He was amazing! However we had to wait at times. Be back soon for that amazing sauce.
My family and I have been dining at Carlo's for as long as I can remember. When it came to choosing a restaurant for our daughter's communion, Carlo's was our first choice. We celebrated her communion this past weekend, and it was absolutely incredible! The Carlo's staff were amazing, we felt like they were part of the family. My entire family couldn't stop raving about the food, especially the arugula salad. I can't say enough good things about Carlo's and the wonderful party they helped create; all I know is that our daughter was truly happy.
Phenomenal. Some of the best Italian food I've had in a while. It has a rustic, homey flavor to it, which I absolutely love.
I moved here recently, and I didn't really know what all the good places around me were. I'm so glad I noticed this place on Google maps. Already had great reviews, so I knew I wasn't taking much of a risk. Awesome pizza here (the pic is their Carlo's combo, I think that's the name). Their pizza is the only thing I've had so far, but if its taste is any indication, I'm sure they make everything really well. You won't regret getting food here.
This is an amazing family restaurant, excellent service and their food is amazing ❤️
Peter and Sheila have a hidden gem in Westchester. I have been going 15-20 years now. Great food. Fair prices. A throw back to the older restaurants. Excellent service. Best part besides the food is the actual service. Run smoothly. When I am in town I always make to stop in. Hard to find a place that is worth the price. This place feels like family. Highly recommend trying it out.
We came with friends. This was our first time. It was like dining with family. The owner was so friendly. If you read reviews that say it's slow..then they aren't used to this type of dining experience. We were there 2 hours and I found the pace of the courses to be perfect. We had appetizers and a main course and were able to enjoy conversation without being rushed. The food was amazing and the service attentive. We truly enjoyed our first time there and will be back!
This truly is the best pizza in Yonkers. I frequent the downstairs restaurant where there are a variety of slices from plain and Detroit, to Chicago and grandma. All sorts of great combo slices downstairs. Upstairs is a main dining room. Not sure why Carlo’s doesn’t rank higher. Never a bad experience, always fresh, and friendly staff. Salads are great too. Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed.
No matter how busy this place is and sometimes it is packed out, the food and the service are always excellent along with the prices.
Massive portions, incredible flavor, and amazing service! Loved everything they brought us. Some of the best homestyle Italian food I’ve ever had. Up from Phoenix on an official visit to West Point and I picked this out of a hat. Perfect choice! Give it a shot.
Best Italian place in Yonkers, from pasta to grill everything taste so good, our favorite dish is pork chop campagnola ffom lunch menu. Best tiramisu in Westchester county.
Went to get pizza on a rainy, chilly night. It hit the spot, I recommend the margherita and plain cheese pie! Their garlic knots are phenomenal, very soft and garlicky!
Hubby's sister wanted to take us out to her favorite restaurant. She insisted we meet her here for lunch. Was pleasantly surprised. The outside does not look like much. It just looks like a local pizza joint. The upstairs is the sit down area and it was packed! There's a 3rd level that has tables and a full bar. Alot of groups of different sizes. 2 Birthday celebration happened while we were there. :) We were a party of 6 and placed reservations ahead of time so we were seated immediately. The hostess was friendly and helpful. The waiter was friendly, helpful and patient. She and her hubby had their favorite meals that were no longer on the menu but they accommodated us, the Filet of Sole and Flank Steak. Cheesy Garlic Bread that everyone loved. Antipasto was good but becareful it's on a cutting board so no edges to prevent spills and the oil dripped on my blouse when they came to put it down on the table. (Dolop of Shampoo and a little rub, it came right out!) Spaghetti with meat sauce, Plain Steak and Steak with Mushrooms and Onion were the family order. The basics ;) Hubby and I are more daring with food. We had Pasta Fagioli and Lentil Soup. We thought it would be a cup or small bowl but we got 2 large bowl of soup which would have been a meal in itself hehe. Both were good. The specials of the day included Pork Shank and Black Seabass. Pork Shank was so tender you don't need a knife. Seabass was amazing! Definitely recommend it! It's been a week and I'm still remembering it 🤤
The Yonkers Nostalgia mandated a 5 star rating. Is it perfect, no. Is it delicious, savory, generously portioned Italian food? Absolutely. Growing up cruising central ave this was a great spot for pizza downstairs in their lower level, or a Yonkers staple such as a chicken parm "wedge" upstairs. Ive gone back a several times over the past few years. Their red sauce is still of high quality and i was very satisfied with the meal overall. Great stop off heading home after a Yankee game, just minutes from the Sprain Pkwy, or any trip to the city. Nice to support businesses that have been around so long as well. Very nostalgic dining experience!
I've had take out before when I visit my uncle in Yonkers. Finally had a sit down experience on one of the busiest nights of the year NEW YEARS EVE. Not only was the food amazing and the service phenomenal you can feed a family of 3 with 1 dish (with chicken dishes under $30). This place is top notch to say the least.
Had the braschiole and mussels. Both were seasoned well and the sauce had a great consistency with great flavor. The bread was also high quality and tasty with a moist inside. Classic Italian American joint.
A longtime local favorite that truly feels like home. I used to attend RHS in the ’90s, back when Pete Sr. was running the show. Not many people could get Pete to crack a joke, but I was lucky enough to be one of his favorites—and I wore that badge of honor proudly. He would be so proud to see how Carlo’s is still going strong today, expanding in ways this community truly couldn’t live without. The food is always on point. Some of my personal favorites include the fried burrata over pesto, chicken scarpariello, Valdostana, arugula salad, cutlets, and their espresso martinis—just to name a few. Carlo’s isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a piece of local history done right.
Classic Yonkers staple of Italian American food. Reservations strongly recommended for dinner, as we went for a 645p reservation and the place was packed. Food was great, only problem was the wait for the food to come out. 1/2 off wine on tuesdays & they also have a pizza spot at the bottom of the building. Would recommend
My friend and I were in the neighborhood looking for another restaurant, but decided to stop at Carlo's "just to give it a try."No regrets whatsoever! The food is delicious and plentiful. The service excellent. The atmosphere was familiar. Rebecca took our order and checked on us while we were eating to make sure that everything was fine. We will definitely go back to Carlo's soon. It's the kind of place that makes you feel right at home.
SO good! I love chicken francese and it is the one thing I just can't get right. Have been searching for a place since Francesco's in White Plains closed and omggg I wish I went sooner. Baked clams- 0 fish flavor. Chicken francese- exactly how I love it. BF's chicken parm with vodka- too good. Portion could have easily fed 3 people. Free bread was also so, so good! Will definitely get the garlic bread next time. So excited to add this to the rotation. Added bonus- the meter on Tuckahoe Rd closest to the restaurant was broken, so free parking
July 13, 2025: Back to Carlo's again last night! I've been coming here for 40+ years. I have been taking my own boys here the last 16+ years. They love it. The food is always delicious, the service has been great, and we love the atmosphere. Charles is one of the best waiters ever! Just went again tonight. Order the gnocchi bolognese again! Went again last week! The gnocchi bolognese was amazing. Carlo's never disappoints. The food is delicious and the desserts even better! We tried a new dessert....it was really good. Our waitress was great as well.
I’ve been three times, and each visit to Carlo’s in Yonkers has been a delight! As an Italian (living in NYC for just over three years), I hold Italian food to the highest standard—yet Carlo’s American‑Italian twist wins me over every time. The cozy, warmly lit dining room feels like home, and the service is friendly and attentive without ever being intrusive. Highlights include their braciole simmered in a rich tomato sauce over rigatoni, stuffed clams, and the cannoli. Pair any dish with one of their carefully curated wines, and you’ve got a meal you won’t soon forget. Highly recommended!
How this place doesn’t have all 5 stars blows my mind. This is the definition of an off the charts restaurant. The food here is excellent to say the least, and on top of it, VERY reasonably priced. The drunken chicken parm (chicken parm w/ their house made vodka) is seriously the best thing I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend making a reservation here as it does fill up.
We had our family repass gathering. Lunch was served! Everything was excellent. Chicken Marsal, Eggplant /Parm pasta & vodka sauce, house salad, & salmon with roasted potatoes. The accommodation were great. We confirmed at the last minute & they were happy to assist. The large party staff was very polite, service was professional, the atmosphere was great. We could talk to pur loved ones. Bathroom accommodations good & clean. My personal thanks to the staff.
An unpretentious old-school Italian ristorante serving generous portions of traditional favorites at very good prices. Their arugula with gorgonzola salad is beyond scrumptious. The raspberry dressing, I was told, is made with fresh raspberries. You can make three meals out of their veal (or chicken) sorrentino. But it's not just about portion size. It's about quality and taste. Carlo's has it all. Look at the photo I posted of their tiramisu.
Amazing service!! Delicious food and portions are HUGE which was perfect because we were starving after walking all day. We called 3 places to request seating for 13 but other places said no. We arrived 5 mins before closing and our table was ready. All the staff was friendly and welcoming. Thank you for Voula, Max & Antonio. We have a wonderful memory!!
Food was so delicious and HUGE portions. Staff was amazing. The manager keep the restaurant open late for is because we were coming with a big group right at closing time. Everything we tried was tasty. They even have Fettuccine Alfredo, you just have to ask for it (not on the menu) but SO delicious.
I was in the area and came in for dinner. Food was excellent. They have all the Italian classics you would want and dishes can be ordered individually or family style. The pictures I took are of individual portions, which are generous! Cesar salad was fresh and well dressed. Chicken parm was delicious. Cannolis were perfect. Staff was very friendly. Overall a great value. Our table did not order this, but I saw many other tables order the NY strip steak, which was very large and came sliced. The steak seems to be a very popular dish and looked delicious.
Delicious Italian cuisine. Great neighborhood joint, generous portions and the servers are very professional. Also, the food tastes exactly the same every time I have eaten there. The Chicken Scarp is my absolute favorite. Worth the trip.
Went here for lunch with my 2 neighbors. Food was very good. There was a mixup with our entrees but they made it right. The best part was the service. We loved our server, Antonio! He was extremely attentive, kind, and made sure we were happy with everything. I would definitely come back and ask for him to be our waiter.
I'm from the Bronx and I have been eating Pizza all my life. Carl Pizza wasn't impressive to me. Sorry! I even had a slice of the Chicken Marsala and I still wasn't impressed. The regular slice was kinda bland and Chicken Marsala had flavor but, it just wasn't impressing me. Aether Avenue in the Bronx has impressive pizza.
Just a great family style restaurant I had the chicken Francesa sauce was excellent and the chicken was very tender. Could have been crispier with the breading but still good. The fried barrata was excellent with many contrasting flavors. You get creamy flavors from the pesto sauce acidity from the tomatoes, and sweet flavor from the peppers it's plated very well sad that I didn't take photo. I highly recommend eating upstairs due to how much traffic down stairs gets. Overall a really good Italian style restaurant and their pizzeria is my local choice.
Carlos is good Italian food. The wait Service is good, prices reasonable. The problem is they pack you in. Tables are very close to each other, you have no problem hearing other people's conversation. Most times that we've been there the food has always been very good, problem is it takes a real long time for it to come. Last time it took about 40 minutes to get our food.
This place has a pizzeria downstairs and a restaurant upstairs. I didn't have their pizza, I ate upstairs and was very happy with their food. Loved the penne ala vodka and the chicken parm. The staff was very friendly, and best of all, the food was very reasonably priced. I will definitely be going back.
Went here for a Birthday party in the upstairs room. Wait staff is great. Very attentive. Cocktail was ok but I think most people here get a half carafe of wine . Pretty good. I had the Shrimp FRA Diavolo with fettuccine. Very tasty and brought leftovers home. There's complimentary bread with butter or oil . They are wheelchair friendly. And when you bring out the Birthday cake the waitstaff plays Happy Birthday to You by Stevie Wonder. Friendly place. Good for parties. Old school menu. They have a parking lot.
Food is good, atmosphere is nice. Place gets packed! Definitely reserve a table if you can. Chicken parm was delicious and penne with vodka sauce was good but darker than I'm used to and they left out bacon bits in it. That garden salad with their homemade dressing 😍 They also accommodate big parties of 20+
I went to Carlos twice over the past few days and the food is good, wouldn't say it's great. It's small and cozy inside. Great bread for the table. House red wines are better than expected. Some issues we had were that they served us water in plastic cups and one of the cups was cracked and leaking - really weird that the person who brought them over didn't realize that - ended up with a big puddle on the table after we realized where the water was coming from. They took our order and got one person's completely wrong. By the time they brought the right dish out everyone else had finished eating and we just took it to go. Not cool. It's worth a try but don't think I'll be a regular. They do have delicious NY cheesecake though - I'll order that to go!
I love Carlo’s food but the delivery can ruin your meal. I ordered online and was quoted a 60 - 75 minute wait time, when the good didn’t arrive after 80 minutes I called for an update, was told it was about to go out… 45 minutes later I call back and the food has not left the restaurant. Unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened, service is typically slow for delivery but this has now happened multiple times. I’m sad to say this might be my last order from Carlo’s.
Food is excellent - waited 35+ minutes for olive oil & parm for bread, waiting a while for food to come out - but we DID order family portion, food makes everything worth it. They have a lot of staff but in my experience, are not that attentive. Take out is 110% always on point - worth it! Dining is great if you have time & patience <3 I k ow this sounds silly because it’s such a simple dish- but penne ala vodka is NEXT LEVEL - not only just the best in NY
Hi - I usually don’t leave negative reviews like this but this was super careless. The food is good but whoever packed me to go order did not close the oil dressing all the way. When I opened it the ENTIRE container went all over my phone and ruined my cell phone.
Why did the pizza thickness change so much? The pies are so thin that my gf and I finished off an extra large pie no problem. We're average weight folks. 😂 It's so thin that the crust explodes into hundreds of pieces and the carriage flops down. I'm constantly having dinners ruined by inconsistencies. One day I'll get a nice chicken roll, the next I get an absolute flat mess that the dishwasher put together. Very inconsistent. Nonnas sauce is definitely keeping them in business.
Food was good. The vibe was weird at first. They sat us right next to where the servers hang out, and they were literally on top of us, and were so loud I couldn't even enjoy. Wasn't even crowded so they should not have sat us at that terrible table. But we asked them to move us, and they did, and it was fine after that. Still, it's annoying that they put us in that position to begin with.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the staff, especially Sheila, was quite rude to an elderly couple sitting next to me waiting for their dinner for over 75 minutes, apparently the waiter gave the elderly couples dinner to the table next to them. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Sheila the owner, roll her eyes and dismiss the elderly couple impatiently when they were simply trying to find out about the order. It was uncomfortable to witness such disrespect, especially towards seniors. Customer service should be about kindness and patience, and this place clearly missed the mark. You need to do better !
Horribly long waits for take-out. The food is good, but they can’t handle the volume of take-out orders. Arrived 50 minutes after ordering online and waited an additional 35 minutes until food was ready. Five minutes after leaving we get a call they left a meal out, so we return to pick it up. Only to get home and realize there was another dish missing.
I always loved their chicken parm dinner, but this last time I got it the sauce was bland, the pasta was overcooked, and the extra garlic I asked for was raw. I asked for grated cheese for the pasta and they wanted to charge me extra for it. I wasn't pleased.
Made reservations for 7pm didn't get seated to almost 8pm on a Friday, and drinks were 20min
This is a review of the pizzeria not the restaurant,,yes they are same owner but separate kitchens and spaces. Our relationship is over with this establishment. I mean really,,I’ve been a customer since before they opened the pizzeria and your gonna sell me a day old slice that probably wasn’t refrigerated and not wrapped up properly but regardless any real pizzeria would NEVER even think of selling day old slices much less at the regular price AND charged me for the side of sauce as well to boot. For the record I did ask the individual who was attending the counter if she could do me the courtesy of selling me the Detroit style slice for 5$ because I was in the night before(when I asked they said “probably “ were)and the same two ricotta topped Detroit slices were at the display area again today at lunch time and she just disappeared. But this is an accumulation of just lack of quality and consistency of their products going on multiple years now. From selling regular slices for 4 plus$ that should be sold at dollar slice shop and I haven’t ordered other food products they sell for quite sometime due to the same reasons. The Detroit slices brought me back but now with this experience we are done and I want to inform everyone about this so you don’t waste your time and hard earned money on a product that has no care or consideration for that fact. But yet still advertises the fact of a superior product but the actual fact is it’s barely mediocre. I do not like doing this sort of thing but something has to change or think about finding a place with a better handle on their quality control. A good alternative and they are close by is Gino’s on Pondfield or Full Moon(best knots in town)on Palmer road across from Lawrence hospital. Thanks for all the years of great slices from the restaurant while trying to scrounge up money to buy an Lp from Rocking Rex,,yeah I go that far back,,,
I love their food, but they've messed up my orders enough times times for it to be an issue. I'm only making this review though because they had the audacity to be rude about it too. There's tons of other great Italian places in the area, not worth the grief of coming here again. Crazy long waits too.
I’ve been dining in and ordering takeout from this place for over 15 years. However, my last two online orders were lost, and I had to wait over two hours for my food. Despite the delay, I was never offered any compensation. Both times, if I hadn’t called to check on my order, it would never have been delivered. One of the reasons why I stopped ordering from here for a while. I placed an order today at 5:30 pm and it is 8:30 and food is supposedly still being made. I was offered a $20 credit for the inconvenience.?? A little ridiculous to be honest. I was told the food was given to the WRONG APARTMENT ON MY FLOOR. After calling the restaurant and telling them I never received the order, they decided to show up to where they dropped my food two apartments next door. They didn’t want to remake my food without the driver and another person from the restaurant coming back and confirming where the food was left at… EVEN MORE TIME WASTED they didn’t believed me and wasted another 40 minutes “ investigating”. After all that, they decided to start working on my food again…., And it’s been 3 hours now since I ordered my food. I had ordered a chicken parm and a steak for two which was about $90 with tip After all this trouble I was offered a $20 credit by Sammy. Which is ridiculous. This will be my last order from this restaurant.
We found a large black beetle in my wife's dish. Never again you have been warned. I don't appreciate eating bugs in a fine Italian restaurant nasty.
Ordered dinner for pickup for a special occasion. They said 30 minutes to be picked up. Once I got there, I had to wait an additional hour. No comp, no apologies, not acceptable. Carlos has been going downhill for a while now…
Place is severely overrated. it's essentially pizzeria level type food. won't be returning.
Love the food upstairs in the real restaurant. Will go back again . But the service & the pizza downstairs was horrible. The are so disorganized. I ordered Sicilian & when I got it home it was terrible , barely any sauce & cheese was burnt. I will never go there again for pizza Ate upstairs the week before , lobster ravioli baked clams & shrimp parm were all excellent. Eat upstairs. !
the food is great thats not the problem. im latinx and i notice every time if we have a waiter who is white they treat us with a short rude attitude and barely make eye contact. one time i went with my parents and my boyfriend at the time and they sat us on the second floor which only had us even when the first floor which is where they have the kitchen and several tables which were at the time empty. it sorta felt like we were being hidden. and i just left from a really rude experience with a waiter who was short with my girlfriend and i today. we didn't even stay and left before she could bring out our drinks. thats the last time ill ever step foot in this establishment.
The woman in the pickup area acts like she doesn't want to be there, she treats customers poorly, and I don't think I'll buy anything there again. I've been buying from them for years. I didn't enjoy my food today.
Its a shame what happened to this place I have been ordering from this place for over 20 years food was good price was decent but the past couple of years its been horrible the service is horrendous delivery time is an hour or more food gets delivered cold and some of the food is unfit for human consumption i think tonight was exceptional in bad food and service I can swear my French fries was so hard it was probably a couple of days old and dried in the Arizona sun it was like nails the steak was cold and like rubber I called to complain and they offered to give me 10 dollars credit instead of offering to make it right I wasn't so concerned about the money mind you it was a 100 dollars for 2 RUBBERY COLD STEAKS AND NAIL LIKE FRIES what got me steaming mad is how they approached the situation and how they insulted me by offering me 10 dollars like I need 10 dollars when I paid a 100 for a simple dinner its not the money its the night they ruined i will never order from CARLOS RESTAURANT AGAIN don't wast your money its not what it used to be
Not one, not two, but three times they messed up our order for a pick up. On the third time they gave my order to someone else. They didn’t even have the courtesy to tell me or even ask me if I was still waiting on an order when I was the last waiting for their order. When I finally ask how my order was coming along, they realized I was the order who was given to someone else. To top it all off, when they knew I was unpleased about the whole situation, they rush to heat everything up and my food was lukewarm at best. Not that losing my business makes any difference nor will they change anything about their service, but maybe this review will at least help someone else out when they are thinking about ordering here for pick up.
I’ve ordered from this restaurant twice, and unfortunately both experiences were very disappointing. The first time was about a year ago when we dined in, and it was a terrible experience. This past weekend, we decided to give them a second chance and ordered takeout. We ordered shrimp parmigiana, penne alla vodka with chicken cutlets, and a side of calamari. After waiting an hour and a half for delivery—even though the restaurant is only 10 minutes away—the order arrived incomplete. The shrimp parmigiana was missing. When I called the restaurant, the woman I spoke with insisted the order was complete. I even offered to FaceTime to show her that it was missing. Eventually, she said they would send it out, but it took another hour to arrive. We had planned to eat dinner together as a family and ended up waiting so we could all eat at the same time. To make matters worse, the next day my boyfriend became very sick with stomach pain, a fever, and constant trips to the bathroom. We had to go to urgent care, where he was diagnosed with food poisoning. Between the long wait times, missing food, poor customer service, and getting sick afterward, this will definitely be our last time ordering from here.
