Mito Albans Reviews
Everything was delicious! Their fish was super fresh and have a great selection of dishes. The plating was beautiful. The interior was comforting, spacious, and cute. Great price for great quality. The staff members were all very kind, and helpful. My fav was the Sashimi salmon pizza (on top of scallion pancake). Perfect crunch texture combination.
Mito is definitely a must-visit spot in Brooklyn! ✨ The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a colorful, modern atmosphere that feels both stylish and full of energy—perfect for a date night or a fun evening with friends. The food is absolutely delicious ,every dish is beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The menu is very diverse, offering everything from classic sushi to creative Japanese fusion dishes, so there’s something for everyone. The cocktails are another highlight —unique, well-balanced, and stunningly served. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get, and their weekday 3-course menu is such a great deal. Overall, Mito combines amazing flavors, variety, and a vibrant atmosphere at a fair price. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Brooklyn!
Wow, what a nice Surprise. If you are going to BAM, the Polonsky Shakespeare Center or Barclay's Center you need to add Mito to your restaurant list. I will be back for the Lunch special, my $33 dinner special was plentiful and delicious. They have a space that can hold up to 40 people with privacy.
Must orders: sashimi, three way tartare, kani salad. The garlic shrimp was also really tasty! The environment inside is super cute and service is attentive.
Run, don’t walk here. Fresh delicious sushi in Downtown Brooklyn at an incredible price! Don’t sleep on the calamari, the Joker Roll or the vanilla mochi desert. I absolutely enjoyed it and will be back for a sashimi meal as their fish is very high quality and fresh.
Spent an excellent dinner with the family after a long train ride from my Long Island office. The atmosphere was cozy and made all of us felt at ease. The staff was attentive, courteous and seemed to know when to fill our water, serve, or replace plates and utensils without being overbearing. Then there was the food. Wow! We ordered different appetizers and entrees to share and the large portions were a pleasant surprised. Sashimi was fresh and had a good variety of fish. The pan fried snapper was a delight, and we finished on a high note with mochi and tempura ice cream. It was such a good experience that we've told friends about it, and are planning to go back again.
Today we stumbled upon a culinary gem in the heart of Fort Greene, Brooklyn, Mito! This gorgeously decorated and swanky Asian fusion restaurant and lounge offers an elegant and elevated dining experience. The beautifully crafted cocktails and inspired menu can only be described as art. We began our meal with two stunning cocktails and the Shrimp Shumai and Crab and Cheese Wonton appetizers. The presentation was outstanding and set the stage for absolutely delicious sips and bites. The Shumai was flavorful and light served with a slightly sweet and tangy sauce. The Crab and Cheese wontons were creamy, rich and indulgent but not too heavy. Next we orderef the Salmon Teriyaki and Mongolian Beef entrees. When they arrived at the table we were so excited! I believe you eat with your eyes first and both dishes were a feast to behold! The Mongolian Beef was served on a beautiful elevated dish with a heat source below to keep the dish warmed throughout the meal and came with perfectly-cooked fried rice. The meat was tender, flavorful and not overwhelmed by sauce. The Salmon Teriyaki was probably the best I've ever tasted. A generous portion of Salmon grilled to perfection and subtly seasoned alongside a medley of beautifully charred vegetables and white rice. A notable feature for me was the Teriyaki sauce being served in a separate vessel which allowed me to control the amount used and I really appreciated that, as some tend to add too much for my particular taste. Finally we shared the Tempura Green Tea Ice Cream. Another gorgeously presented dish! The Green Tea Ice Cream was delicious, not overly sweet and enveloped in a tempura batter that became very “cake-lile" as it melded with the ice cream…a very unique and satisfying dessert! Overall, Mito is a fabulous find! The service is impeccable, the atmosphere is upscale and the food is perfected. I highly recommend Mito the next time you find yourself in the Fort Greene section of Brooklyn!!
Mito just opened another new spot in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, adding to their growing list of locations. This spot bringing sleek, modern vibes and beautifully crafted Japanese cuisine. From ultra-fresh sushi and sashimi to melt-in-your-mouth short rib and an incredible filet mignon with lobster, every dish is a must-try. Whether you're stopping by for a casual bite or a special night out, Mito delivers on flavor and style. Who’s down for a sushi date? 🍶🍣
I have been here twice and have ordered for pickup 3 times in one week. The sushi is soooo fresh. The beef dumplins are divine. The wagyu burger is magnificent. The service is fantastic. The portions are just right!!!! This is basically my new favorite lunch spot at work. AND I had some free mochi!!!!!! Also delicious!!!!!!
The best ever restaurant in nyc! Hotel restaurant quality with great price. After I tasted food here, this became the only restaurant I go. My boyfriend could not eat fish at all because he is sensitive to fishy smell but he came to like fish after tasting mito's fresh fish without any smell but rich flavor. I come here at least 3 times a week... so many different dishes and I need to taste them all!!
My takeout from here tonight was so incredible. the packaging was so cute and kept all the sushi perfectly placed and fresh. I loved the spicy tuna balls wrapped in avocado. I’ve never had these before and they were delicious. The toro roll was also AMAZING. The salmon dinner was so fresh and i really enjoyed it. You can’t go wrong with anything here. it’s all so good and travels so well.
A friend recommended us to get lunch menu, it’s one of the best values in the area. The portions were huge, tasted amazing, and had fantastic presentation. If you want an easy way to try a varied assortment of what this restaurant has to offer, I can’t recommend it enough.
Good food and ambiance. The service was quick and great too, they were very quick to make sure our party was comfortable and hydrated, as well as ensuring we were well taken care of. And this place is honestly beautiful. I came for happy hour with my friends and it's honestly pretty hard to beat with the prices. Solid good food.
I got the miso soup, hot mama, and then I saw someone eating a burger with fries so I decided to get myself some mito fries too. And they were piping hot!!!!!! So deliciousssssss. Miso soup was tasty, and the sushi was incredible. Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. I will definitely come back to this place again and make sure to try the desserts. Restaurant ambiance was very elegant and comfortable. Waiter service was excellent. The only thing I would suggest and this is my own personal individual bias but if they had Dijon mustard because the fries were so heavenly.
Ordered take out from them and I would recommend from this selection…. The pork dumplings! The California roll was good but as we know there not much that can make a California roll outstanding, but that’s just the roll, it was still really well done. Edamame was well cooked, I wish I had a bit of salt for it tho. The Mongolian chicken wasn’t my favorite, but not because it was bad, I could tell that some would definitely like it. It was spicy (pepper spicy) and juicy, the veggies were well done too. I just prefer when spicy food has more than just spicy flavor. The multigrain rice was definitely unique, I liked it. Overall really nice place in a great location.
I’ve been to Mito twice now, and I’ve been blown away at how sweet the servers are, and how fresh and absolutely delicious the food is!! It’s a true new neighborhood gem, and I was shocked just how good everything was. We started working wonton soup, which had a super unique spiced filling! And then we ordered the spicy tuna roll (which had delicious tempura flakes mixed in), the salmon avocado, and the yellowtail scallion (which was literally to die for, so simple, but so so fresh!!). We also got the black truffle chicken fried rice which had just the perfect amount of truffle flavor!! We cannot wait to come back again and again!! Definitely our new favorite neighborhood spot!
We had the burger, steak, two sushi rolls—Ultimate Toro and Eel Avocado—and a dozen oysters. Honestly, everything was incredibly good, and I don’t have any photos because we started eating before I could even take one. Daisy was attentive and helpful with recommendations. We’ll definitely be back!

Love this spot! they have a great happy hour with $5 rolls and $8 cocktails! such a good deal and the quality is great as well. will definitely be back!
Wow, this definitely exceeded my expectations. All the dishes that we got were terrific. The spare rib was tender and fell off the bone and nicely seasoned. The hibachi chicken was juicy and had lots of vegetables and came in a large portion. The chirasi sashimi was amazing with lots of unique treats mixed in like a bayberry and fermented olive. That was the best olive I have ever eaten! The spicy wonton had a very tasty hot sauce
I came here for dinner on a Thursday night as a group of 7 and we had a wonderful experience! The restaurant’s ambiance is welcoming and feels high-end, with a spacious table layout and nice decor. The staff is very friendly and service was impeccable. Additionally, the food was delicious, portions generous, and prices reasonable. We each got the weekday special (available Sunday-Thursday) - $33 for appetizer, entree, and dessert (+$5 if you choose the chirashi main), which is an incredible value considering each course was the normal size you would receive if ordering a la carte. We also shared a few appetizers and ordered sake and beer. Everything was great! We were completely stuffed by the end of the meal. Will definitely be back to try many more things on the menu!

This was my first time coming here, and for the most part, I had a great experience! The food and drinks were both really good, and my server Doris was AWESOMEEEEE! She gave such great service and made the visit enjoyable. Unfortunately, while Doris was on her break, I asked the hostess for a chair (in an empty restaurant), and she was surprisingly rude and said no — which caught me off guard since the place wasn’t busy at all. If it weren’t for Doris’s amazing service, I honestly might not come back.

I really wanted to love this restaurant the ambiance was beautiful, its conveniently located and the food had potential however the service left a lot to be desired. For starters the servers didn’t seem “colored ppl” friendly & we felt as though our entire meal was rushed. The server came to our table 3 times while we were still deciding what to have. The second time we gave her the apps and she stated she had to put app, main course and dessert all at once since we were doing the 3 course meal promo, so we had no choice but to send her away again. We started with a few apps in addition to the apps included with the 3 course deal. The cocktails we ordered were really good. Our entrees were brought out while we were still enjoying our appetizers. I ordered the duck and ended up sending it back because it was obviously not fresh and extremely cold it seemed like it had been sitting there and they just plated it once I ordered it. We were chatting with our plates in front of us (not to the side) forks were not down and the server came over asking if we wanted any to go boxes for our entrees. We let her know we were still working on our meals and she left the table. We later saw both servers browsing the area waiting for the opportunity to clear our table, there was a table of about 7 ladies directly across from us who seemed like their dining was complete once we arrived and they were there throughout our entire dining . i then asked her was there a time limit on the tables because we were so uncomfortable at that point. We then placed our dessert order and left. The dessert was not desirable at all. I definitely do not recommend the 3 course meal promo as it seems precooked. just go with their regular menu items as everything is fairly priced and youre guaranteed fresh items. I also dont recommend visiting if youre there to dine and chit chat maybe a quick lunch break.
This place is trash. All they do is microwave the food. Pretty much disgusting. Not fort Greene quality. It’s a location play for them. I could have ordered some food from fricken moon wok better than this. Like look at this below Trader Joe’s quality microwave shrimp. Booooooo!!!
