Food and service were both great even when it got a little busier. Definitely recommend their desserts. Overall a great experience!

They have complimentary bancha now, simple but delicious. The Kalbi Tang was delicious with very tender and flavorful beef short ribs. Traditionally, it is clear, but they were able to customize it into a spicy version. I also like the kimchi fried rice, just wish there was more Bulgogi.

EVERYONE DON’T RUN TO KUUN. FLY. The foods are scrumdiddlyumtious. CHICKEN NOODLE (닭 칼국수) is crazy 🤩🤩🤩 The food shown in the image is so crispy and sweet and full of meat. Just go 😭😭

Love their food! Clean and legit and tasty!!! The homemade kimchi is a must. Cannot wait to be back again to eat the rest of the menu 😋

KUUN is located in Brooklyn. The food was very good and I was satisfied with their variety of options including vegan. The plum limeade was very good and I would recommend it. 10/10

They’re not stingy on ingredients! Pretty authentic and really really great portions, great service too!

Food was great. Ordered seafood jeon, kalbi tang, and tang soo yook. Portions were surprisingly good! Staff was nice and accommodating for us even though we didn’t have a reservation. Will definitely be coming back!

Pricey for Korean food, but you get what you pay for. The food was excellent, very flavorful, and the portions large. Can easily get 2 meals out of each entree.

This is a very friendly, and aesthetic place to dine. The place is not too big but cute to go dates and hangout with friends. Staff is very kind and understanding. Ever since my friend took me there, Kuun has been one of my favorite places to go. Food is good, staff is cool, place is cute why don’t you give them a try?

My husband and I stop by for a late lunch without reservation and we were seated right away. The atmosphere was nice and they made good use of the space without it being overcrowded. I got the ginger lemonade and kalbi bbq and both were very delicious! My husband got the bulgogi fried rice and that was good too! We would h go back again!

Pro: our waitress was great, food came out in reasonable time, food was authentic and tasty (got galbi tang, friend got pork kimchi stew), good music playlist, helpful and kind staff Cons: wish they refilled our banchan! Not a huge deal though - it was good so we wanted seconds

Excited to have a new Korean restaurant in the neighborhood. We had the Pork Jjajangmyun and Seafood Jjambbong, and for a drink, the Asian ginger pear. Everything was very good and authentic. For those of you who are not spicy eaters, the Seafood Jjambbong has a very spicy broth for those who has an affinity for hot sauce. It's excellent and measures up with other Jjambbong I had in the past.

This gem never disappoints. I've been ordering delivery from them for months but finally made a trip into the restaurant today. The wings are a great starter, not super spicy but have a great crunch. The bo ssam is the real star and the fresh ssam box is something we always order. This time I also tried the tongsooyook and highly recommend. It's an elevated sweet and sour pork with an amazing crunch.

Delicious Korean food. Traditional pickled pre-meal snacks included. A bar. Friendly staff and clean bathroom. Fair prices.

The appetizer are amazing. It’s like an assortment of pickled items. The chickpeas (not sure if pickled but super delicious) ginger tomatoes (of so yummy and sweet) kimchi and broccoli. My partner and I shared the Ssamm box with bulgogi. WARNING : The garlic and jalapeños cup is not for the weak!

This place is worth to go in downtown Brooklyn. In a neighbourhood where restaurants are less friendly or overpriced, Kuhn offers a very nice interior for a meal where with affordable prices. We got the stone bimbimbap and the grilled pollack. Not tasted great, but I liked the bimbimbap more

J

The soondubu hit the spot, the seafood plenty and the ban chan a good appetizer. The sparkling yuzu was refresing on a hot summer day. We never felt rushed as my friend and I played catch up. Will go back to try the other items on the menu.

Delicious Korean food!!! Ordered the chicken wings, kimchi pancakes, galbi tang and honey pork belly bbq for two. Packed leftovers. Everything was 💯 and would definitely come back! Thank you Gina! The only bad thing was there was a lot of bugs around even with the bug zappers hanging up so next time will sit indoors.

I grew up in Seoul and recently spent nearly a month in New York. I absolutely love it here! ☺️For those who enjoyed "Jjapaghetti" from the movie "Parasite," I highly recommend trying "Jjajangmyeon," the original dish of the ramen “jjapaghetti”with black bean sauce. It tastes even better than the expensive Chinese-korean restaurants in Seoul! If you're in New York and crave authentic Seoul flavors, this is the place to go. My daughter, who has a Koreanman palate, made us visit at least twice a week.very close from Ace hotel…The kimchi stew tasted just like my grandmother's!! Don't miss out on Jjajangmyeon, Jjamppong, with Kimbap together Or with tangsooyook- it's like stepping into a Korean drama.

Loved it!! Went with my friend last night for a late dinner and had a great experience at Kuun. The restaurant is so pretty, bright and spacious - great atmosphere! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing! Exactly what we were craving. Huge portions, you can easily share. Will definitely come back to try more

We discovered this downtown Brooklyn gem on new year’s day and it was so good that we came back less than a week later. Delightful atmosphere, soul-warming comfort food, fantastic service! Loved the seafood soondubu (tofu soup), seafood jjam bong (spicy noodle soup), and gang-jung (chicken appetizer). They also have a cute soju-influenced cocktail menu. Doing dry January so haven’t tried it yet, but can’t wait to come back.

I’ve personally never dined here. Although, I found this place on Uber Eats and when I tell you, I’ve been eating here 4 days straight in a row; it’s AMAZING. The beef stew is so fresh, the only thing is, I believe there’s a pear(?) that’s kind of adds a bit of sweetness to the broth yet it’s not strong to the point it’s unbearable. The broth is really delicate. The seafood jjambbbong was SO amazing!!! the seafood was fresh, maybe because I ordered takeout; I only received one fresh shrimp. It was spicy, yet it wasn’t spicy to the point it’s overwhelming. It was the perfect touch. I loved the texture of the noodles. The seafood tasted like it was cooked in the broth first(that’s how it comes for takeout) The noodles were separate. Now, onto the kimbap. This was actually the first time I ever tried kimbap, it’s fresh, I love the vinegar taste from the radish mixed with spicy from the spicy tuna. It’s literally so perfect and I highly recommend everyone to try it. I’m currently recovering from foot surgery and honestly, I can’t wait to be able to walk again so I can go dine in and see how it is!!

Great Korean food, packed with flavor and spice. The Korean Gang-Jung (boneless spicy chicken) was decent, but the Jaeyook Bokum was AMAZING. So much flavor and tender meat. Highly recommend that dish.

The restaurant had a clean environment and a great atmosphere, which I really enjoyed. The food was just as good as Chodanggol, my favorite Korean restaurant in NYC. I ordered Galbiggim and Sundubu Jjigae, both of which were excellent. If you're looking for a good Korean restaurant, I highly recommend giving this place a try. It was a bit pricey, but definitely worth it, and I’ll be going back for sure.

8pm on a Monday and it wasn't busy at all. We got seated and ordered food. The servers were very helpful with helping us pick. The alcoholic drinks were pretty strong. The seafood pancake was pretty normal - a bit softer than I would've liked but still good. The bulgogi was delicious both in taste and texture. The galgi tang was so fatty and tender. I loved those. The portion sizes are pretty big.

Omg!!! This place never fails to surprise me with its great services and authentic food. "I recently dined at KUUN and was thoroughly impressed by both the delicious food and the attentive service. The jokbal was incredibly tasty and a definite must-try for anyone visiting. The servers were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for a fantastic dining experience!"

My friends and I picked this place because we wanted to grab a family style dinner with shareable plates. Kuun hit the spot and then some. The shareable apps were absolutely delicious, especially the tteokbokki. The mains were pretty good, and were elevated by the combo boxes which also added several more yummy small sides. An unexpected but tasty surprise were the fruity soft drinks. I’m not usually big on soda but a friend told me to get one, and it ended up being refreshing and delightful. The outdoor seating area was spacious and nice, and we really appreciated the bug lamps. Shoutout to the fast and helpful service as well.

Surprisingly good find in Downtown Brooklyn with a beautiful, modern interior. Food was very fragrant and tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed my japchae, which had the most flavorful sauce. However, the portion size is rather small as it is meant to be served as a side dish and I got hungry within an hour. My friend had the kalbi jjim which had the thickest sauce with intense depth of flavors. The meat was also quite tender. However, this dish took about 20 minutes to be served. My japchae had gone cold by then. The service was not the best, though. The staff, while nice and friendly, were not the most attentive despite it being a slow Tuesday evening. It might also be due to our being seated in a corner that seems to be a blind spot for them. Prices are also a little steep for the portion sizes. Nevertheless, really enjoyed my meal here and would definitely be back for more! If they launch a lunch menu at a slightly discounted price, I'd have to pray for my wallet.

Update: I have to also admit if i was wrong. I have since placed a few deliveries and the care for packaging and condition has been perfect. I can appreciate the attention to detail. Well deserved edit to 5 stars. Come on, the person packing this could have done a much better job. Coming home to this is very disappointing.

I’m thrilled to share a recent gem I uncovered in the heart of Brooklyn: KUUN. This isn’t your average restaurant; it’s a culinary voyage to Korea right here in NY. Every dish at KUUN is a masterpiece, meticulously prepared to bring out the rich and authentic flavors of Korean cuisine. From the sizzling bibimbap to the savory kimchi, each mouthful was a revelation of taste and tradition. The atmosphere is just as inviting, making you feel like you’ve stepped into a little slice of Korea. Whether you’re a Korean food aficionado or new to the cuisine, KUUN is a must-visit spot. Don’t miss out on this incredible experience to indulge in genuine Korean flavors.

There’s this super cute and handsome Korean oppa waiter — like, seriously, SO cute! Even cuter than my rich bestie’s secret boyfriend who gets a monthly “allowance” from her. Maybe that’s why the food tasted extra delicious today. AND — plot twist — he can even speak Chinese!!! Do you know how expensive it is these days to have a cute, handsome boy spend time with you? And this one even calls you cute with those sparkling eyes… and it only costs a meal! Totally worth it. Oh, and the vibe? Also a solid 💯.

J

Ordered bulgogi bibimbap for take away and it was so delicious, perfectly packed, the ingredients in bowl and rice in separate container and came with gochujang sauce and even one banchan for takeout!! The portion is very generous, I was happily full afterwards and it was so tasty 👍🏻👍🏻 will definitely go back to try their jajangmyeon next!

I had Seafood Jjambbong for lunch today by a server’s suggestion and it was absolutely amazing. I usually have Seafood Soondubu or Jokbal there! The restaurant gives 10/10 foods and the servers are also very friendly. They serve food in timely manner and I bet their food suggestions can never go wrong.

The servers were so attentive I was a little shocked at how quick they reacted when we ran out of water and I dropped my spoon lol My second time here and the food is always solid. I usually don’t like kimbap but I enjoyed the Spicy Tuna Mayo kimbap think that’s what it’s called. I remember the pancakes were good last time I came too.

Tasty dishes, great service and atmosphere. We were (barely) able to finish all the dishes we ordered but it was good to try a few different things! Gimbap and wings are good appetizers to start with. Seafood soup with noodles as well the bulgogi entree were shared. They were out of the cheesecake that we initially wanted (I think the green tea) so we tried key lime and we do not regret our decision. Would definitely come back with more friends.

Kuun is an absolute must-visit for the best Korean food in Downtown Brooklyn! Our dinner was amazing. We started with crispy mandu, delicious kimbap, and savory jeon. The main dishes were spectacular: perfectly grilled LA kalbi BBQ and a rich, comforting seafood tofu soup. Highly recommend this fantastic restaurant for its authentic flavors, cozy atmosphere, and great service!

Sunday night the restaurant was very busy, with only three servers working. Despite that, the staff made sure everyone was seated and able to enjoy their time. We waited about 10 minutes, but it was definitely worth it. We ordered LA kalbi BBQ, donkatsu, jokbal, and a seafood pancake—everything was delicious. I would rate this place 10/10.

A wonderful experience overall! The Power of Innocence drink was absolutely perfect for chilly weather—so comforting and flavorful. The hot stone bibimbap with spicy pork was honestly too good to be true, and the seafood soup was just as impressive, rich and satisfying. The servers were very attentive and clearly knew what to recommend, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place!

Ordered the kalbi tang, seafood pancake, and Ginzu, and every single item was spot on. The kalbi tang was rich, comforting, and deeply flavorful — tender beef, perfectly balanced broth, and exactly what you want on a cold evening. The seafood pancake was crispy on the outside, soft inside, and generously packed with seafood, not oily at all. Ginzu was smooth and refreshing, paired really well with the meal and rounded everything out nicely. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the food and the experience. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.

Went for Christmas Eve dinner and walked in even though the restaurant was a bit slow — best decision ever. Hands down the best Korean food I’ve had in downtown Brooklyn. The food was amazing, but what truly stood out was the top-notch service. I accidentally spilled water, and the staff were incredibly kind and reassuring. They helped clean everything up right away and never made it awkward. Our server was so attentive throughout the meal. Great food, great service, and a genuinely welcoming experience. Highly recommend

We tried many dishes: the dukbokki, the jibap box with kalbi, a soondubu, and the tangsuyuk. All dishes were solid, but we found the dukbokki had more fishcake than rice cake, which was unexpected. The soondubu was ok if you're craving that, but I probably wouldn't order it again (BDC tofu kits are cheaper and have more tofu). Service was friendly but we did wait longer than I feel is typical for our order to be taken. A couple next to us actually left because no one was taking their order, I felt their pain as they were probably waiting 15+ minutes for someone to help them. It is a shame because the food here is good.

* Seafood Jeon (Pancakes) The pancakes weren't aromatic enough. It would be much better if they add some scallions, onions and chives to season the pancakes (these ingredients are the soul of Korean jeon!). My aunt appreciated the dish but I would give it a pass. * Kimchi Fried Rice with Bulgogi The fried rice came with a sun egg. The raw egg yolk melanged perfectly with the rice. The grilled barbecue bulgogi was undoubtedly the highlight of the dish. Sometimes Korean beef could be rough or overcooked easily. Apparently their bulgogi made the kimchi fried rice even more satisfying without being too dull. The portion was too hearty to finish that I took away half bowl of it for my dinner. FYI the banchan (side dishes) are complimentary and refillable. They provided 3 kinds of banchan: sautéed fish cakes, broccolis and kimchi. The taste of banchan was nothing impressive, plus a lack of variety comparing to local Korean restaurants. I prefer traditional banchan like yellow pickled radish, dried shredded squid or seasoned spinach. My Recommendation: Kimchi Fried Rice with Bulgogi

Good flavor good sauces, especially for the price point. but here’s a helpful hint. Please do not over boil the noodles. It totally changes the taste. Under cooked is way better than overcooked. - to chef Jjajamyun has great flavor. Noodles :/

Excellent food but a bit expensive and very tight on space. The waiters are also a little slow because its so busy. The food is authentic and is exactly what you expect from an excellent Korean fast food restaurant.

There are dishes I love at Kuun, then there are ones I'm disappointed with. The kalbijjim is SO freaking tender and flavorful here (must try!), but the honey pork belly is consistently too fatty for my taste (see photo). Seafood jeon and dukbokki are delicious, but nothing life-changing and overpriced vs portions you'd get in Ktown. Tldr; Kuun wonderfully delivers homestyle Korean food in an upscale environment, with some variance in price vs. flavor ROI.

Came here with hubby for a quick lunch on a Monday. We liked the decor, chill vibe and good service. I’m vegetarian and ordered: - Dukbokee (rice cakes & vegetable simmered in KUUN sweet & spicy sauce) - Jeon (kimchi pancake) Thankfully I asked the kind waitress to identify something in the Dukbokee (which looked similar in shape and texture to the fish cakes from the free appetizer we received), because it indeed was fish cakes, which wasn’t mentioned in the menu/dish description at all. So, my personal critical feedback/con to KUUN is that they should improve on pointing out vegetarian/vegan dishes on their menu, hence the 4 stars out of 5. Other than this, I truly enjoyed this lunch and I recommend everyone giving KUUN a try. My hubby had the pork belly w rice (which was a good size, he had leftovers) and he really enjoyed it.

Decent korean food in the Brooklyn area. They seem to try and elevate the food a little bit but it still has the Korean flavors that people are familiar with. The prices are a little high for the portion sizes. The galbi was the favorite dish I had here.

N

I had the Tteok-bokki, and chicken wings. Everything was okay. The Tteok-bokki what's good but it was kind of thick and I wish I would have had more green options like spinach or bok choy.

Went out with a friend on Saturday night. Chill atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the chicken wings (sweet and spicy sauce), LA galbi, and the spicy beef soup. The LA galbi was definitely the highlight. The wings were tasty, but I was expecting more after reading the reviews. The beef soups was good, but not great. Drinks were INCREDIBLE. Some fun, creative twists to traditional cocktails.

The service here was excellent. Even though it was busy, the staff remained patient and kind. When my baby accidentally spilled water, the server handled it so nicely and reassured us, which we really appreciated. We ordered the kimchi stew and kalbi tang, and both were absolutely worth trying—comforting, flavorful, and served hot. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience with thoughtful service and great food. Would definitely come back.

My partner and I ordered the ssundae special, jjampong, and bossam, all of which were delicious and quick to come out! The jjampong was generous with its seafood and the bossam was soft and flavorful. The ambience was nice and relaxing, with good lighting and wall art. I am, however, knocking down a star for poor service. On a rather quiet Sunday night, the staff took forever to take our order and give us the check (they were on their phones and we had to flag them down when they finally looked up from their phones). They were also not very friendly and did not check in with us once during the dinner.

I have come here twice, the first time was in December and the second time was yesterday. The first time I went the atmosphere was beautiful and great decorations. The person who serviced us was great. The second time I went we had two different servers, one of them while I was still looking at the menu tried to take it away from me. It also felt like they were trying to rush us to order even though it was only three people in the restaurant. The food the first time was great, the second time the rice and meat we got was cold. This is all to say maybe we just came at a bad time the second time, it is a cute place to meet up and chat with people. For the price I wouldn’t say it is the best restaurant in the city.

Daisy Rincon

The food was delicious, the drinks were good definitely enjoyed the Ginger Asian Pear. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because the staff was constantly on their phones easily distracted, we went on a Thursday night so it wasn’t too busy so I understand it was a slow night for them however we had to try to get their attention to get the bill.

good neighborhood korean spot. it was suspiciously empty when i went in on a saturday afternoon but i appreciated the peace and quiet. service is attentive and not in-your-face. the food is what you’d expect from a casual korean spot - reliable but nothing really exceptional. ordered the fried chicken (soy garlic, upon server’s recommendation), bulgogi hot stone bibimbap and seafood tofu soup.

Nice and clean Korean place in the neighborhood, @kuun.brooklyn has quite a variety to choose from, and the staff was friendly!

Service was very friendly and nice, however food lacked flavor and was a bit greasy.

Came here for a birthday dinner with 5 other people and can’t say I’ll be back. The staff were friendly but they forgot parts of our order, switched our order up with the table next to us, then brought us the check without even asking about dessert (which we did want). In terms of the food, the entree was just ok — i had the hot stone bibimbap with chicken and the chicken was tasty but there wasn’t enough and all the other components were kind of bland. I did really enjoy the pear korean soda (note: it has pulp), the sweet and spicy boneless chicken (appetizer), and the desserts were delicious. The portions were small for the prices though, esp the desserts.

I like the rice noodles but not jia jiang mian. The food is good but the service was not as good. They didn’t even serve us water until we asked twice and it was way past 20 minutes after we have sat at the table. Maybe it’s because the restaurant is short stuffed.

The food was delicious no doubt but the service wasn’t great.. we were ignored and brushed over. It lowkey felt like we were unwelcomed there.

The staff were very nice and the place itself is beautiful—great atmosphere. I ordered the business lunch for $30. Honestly, the price felt a bit high considering the food wasn’t very delicious. If the taste matched the price, I’d be happy to pay it, but unfortunately it didn’t feel worth it. I’d recommend trying something else on the menu instead of the lunch option.

We heard great things about Kuun and were excited since good Korean food is hard to find in NYC, but have to say, this is getting added to the list of mediocre Korean food 🥲 We got the galbi tang and the bossam jipbap bento box and both were okay at best. The galbi tang flavor was pretty bland and the bossam had no flavor and it came with a soy sauce but it was weird that there was no ssamjang? This meal ended up being around $75 with tip for lunch…I wouldn’t recommend coming here as it’s pretty overpriced with small portions. Service was good as the waiters are nice, but the food was just not it.

The food was good, the portions reasonably large corresponding to the high prices, but nothing stood out. It's Korean, but it seemed adjusted to the American style of cooking. The shredded beef soup was pretty bland, and didn't taste Korean at all.

My friend and I decided to come to Kuun around 1:30pm on a Tuesday. You can make reservations online, but they were not necessary, as there were only two other parties in the restaurant while we were there. They make good use of a small interior, and the aesthetic is simple and zen. I ordered mandu guk with beef dumplings ($20) and my friend had bulgogi bibimbap ($23 - $18 for the bibimbap, $5 for the bulgogi). I would say pricing is fair for the location and ambiance, though definitely on the higher side. The meal came with a small selection of banchan - the kimchi had more of an acidic/sour taste, but the beans had good flavor! My friend enjoyed the bibimbap and also has a smaller appetite, so she was able to take part of it home. For the mandu guk, I thought the flavors could have been more elevated. The waiter asked me if I wanted beef or vegetable broth, and I said beef broth, though I have never been asked that before! I just assumed all stock was made with anchovy. I really like the anchovy broth, so I felt like the beef broth lacked a level of depth, as did the flavor of the dumplings. Service was very attentive regarding check-backs and water refills. I do selfishly wish places would offer banchan refills, but I get if it's a cost issue. If you have a major Korean food craving in Brooklyn, Kuun is enough to satisfy it, but I would not go out of my way to return.

Bought off Ubereats. The soup was good but it soaked through the ride. I get that it might be more ecofriendly, but for delivery please consider using plastic cups? A third of the soup spilled/soaked through, and the crispy skewer had really little sauce unlike the picture on the menu.

Was excited to try this place. Ordered the japchae and added the bulgogi for an extra cost. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. The portion size was small given how pricey it is, and got maybe 3 pieces of beef. The noodles were okay, but not so good I'd crave it again. Maybe dining in would be a better experience but the takeout was meh and will not be ordering again.

I ordered a soup and some chicken and rice through grubhub. I would assume it's common sense not to put soup in a paper container, but here we are. By the time my order arrived not much was left. The container got completely soaked and the soup spilled outside of the bag contaminating the entore order. I had to throw out the whole thing. $45 went to waste and I am still hungry. Whoever packed my order I enourage you to use your brain next time - paper and luqiud doesnt go well together.

This place, KUUN was terrible every dish I ordered was disappointing. I’m Korean, and nothing here resembled authentic Korean food. Fusion is fine, but this wasn’t even good fusion. The meat seemed frozen and simply reheated; the texture was dry and the smell was unpleasant. The soup was overly oily and salty, as if they were trying to cover up a bad taste with strong seasoning. The bibimbap was extremely bland, and the vegetables didn’t taste fresh at all. The jokbal was honestly inedible. They charge nearly three times the average price for Korean food, maybe thinking it’s a high-end experience but it clearly isn’t, not for me as a Korean, and likely not for anyone. A restaurant’s job is to serve good food. This one didn’t. I’ll never go back or recommend it to anyone.

We were served SPOILED chicken in our bibimbap and the owner/manager was hiding in the kitchen while our waitress was trying to make things right. They would not give us a refund or exchange the dish. TERRIBLE

Edit2 (09/23): i got take out but they didn’t pack utensils. I asked for them but they forgot as they do all the time. Now I can’t eat my food. Edit1 (09/03): i find myself coming here to eat because their delivery is bad. Their food is decent but def expensive than other spots. I like the food here but I cry every time because I’d rather order delivery if their delivery was actually good. Cold banchans are so good thank god. Original: 반찬좀 제발 따로 포장.. They always package the side dishes WITH THE HOT soup making the side dishes inedible. I asked them multiple times and made notes on delivery to not do this but they keep doing it. Lost hope. Will no longer order from them. Over priced and can't follow simple ask.

Decent food, but the lone female server tonight was just straight-up rude to me for some reason. She didn’t properly hand me the menu, kept smirking, and the only thing she said the whole time was “Done?” lmao. Obviously, I tipped accordingly. :)

Craving bulgogi Kimbap, I researched this restaurant and after the reviews and images of the item, i walked over to enjoy a late lunch. Confirming with the host upon entering if they had the item, I asked to sit near a charger, so I could charge my phone, which was directly next to an Asian female manager. Not needing a menu, I placed my order with the server. the manager then spoke with the server and told him that item was unavailable, and if I wanted it I’d have to have it to-go— meaning that I wasn’t welcomed to dine inside, but I can order and leave. I feel discriminated against as a 30-something African American woman and ashamed of her flagrant behavior.

Ordered for pick up and the order said it was ready but ended up having to wait at the restaurant while they completely remade it

Weird korean food. We are koreans btw. Seasoning is all off on the dishes they presented. Soontofu tasted as if made from one of those meal kit they sell at hmart with a bit of their own veggie mix thrown in for a good measure and to charge 20bucks for it and the portion was that of appetizer portion. The worse offensive dish was the jaeyook stir fry dish and there was absolutely no hint of flavor that would make it jaeyook. Drinks were OK although we didnt see any hard liquor bottles on shelf at the bar making us think it could have been a pre mix. Not sure if this establishment is truly a korean restaurant run by korean owners or rather run by Chinese owners taking on korean food popularity. We wished we had just gone to a korean steakhouse like two doors down. This establishment was too casual like a cafeteria vibe for quick lunch crowd

I ordered take out from here - was so excited to try this spot based on the good reviews. I found a staple in the side order of kimchi i got and the best resolution they came up with was “contact DoorDash” lol def won’t be ordering again

Overpriced, small portions, and mediocre food quality. The honey pork belly had barely any meat, was mostly fat, and felt it was from the poor quality cuts, so we exchanged it for the stir-fried pork slices — which were way too sweet and lacked depth. The seafood jjambbong had good flavor but barely any noodles; it felt more like a soup. This place seems to look authentic, but the flavors say otherwise. I probably wouldn’t come back again.

Kuun has been my go to Korean food in the area ever since I moved to the neighborhood in 2022. However I've noticed a very apparent decline in the quality of food over the last couple years. I no longer dine in person but occasionally do order delivery. The last few times I've noticed that the protein dishes which are $30+ now come in very small portions. The worst was the pork belly dish. In the past the container used to be full but now it's barely half. The one thing that's consistently good is their kimchi jjigae.

I am always grateful for the food you have prepared with care. Today, I specially ordered spicy pork stir-fry, but I'm very disappointed that I had a different experience than I expected. I would appreciate it if you could make an effort to have a more satisfying meal next time. I hope you can continue to enjoy it in the future. We will always return with the same taste.

Ate there for lunch and ordered the seafood stew, it was bland, watery and the seafood tasted old. There were no shells on the clams, and you can tell the seafood wasn’t fresh. It had a soapy taste. The banchan was three tiny dishes. Good kimchi so I asked for more to flavor the flavorless soup.
