Food was absolutely fantastic, fresh ingredients, entrees were super hot, straight from oven- just how I like it. We chose restaurant week menu— burrata salad with beets and blood oranges- absolutely a star, Caccio e Pepe and eggplant parm— outstanding and their desserts were light and tasty. Thank you for good quality ingredients and attention to details.

We had a great dinner tonight at Lele’s Roman. I’ve had my eye on trying it out for months, and I’m glad I did! The atmosphere was charming, decor gorgeous, service excellent, and, most importantly, the food was superb. We tried the: POLIPO E PATATE MORTADELLA E STRACCIATELLA TONNARELLI CACIO E PEPE SPAGHETTI ALLA CARBONARA Everything was lovely. Excited to explore more of their menu next time!

We had an excellent meal at Lele’s Roman inside the Ace Hotel. The food, cocktails, and wine were excellent, and so was the service and ambience! Salads, pasta, lamb, and pork - all fantastic! My husband and I were looking for a more intimate space in the Barclays area to catch up with a friend that we haven’t seen in a while. They were coming from Ditmas and we were staying in Williamsburg. Lele’s Roman checked all our boxes. We had a lovely and memorable time! Thank you!

I love this place! The staff is attentive, friendly and quick to take care of you. The pasta was delicious-fresh and creamy with crispy guancale - reminiscent of my time in Italy. I also ate breakfast here which was wonderful. The simple egg combo was the best. The potatoes were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, delicious thick cut fresh sourdough, and tasty bacon. I had the Greek yogurt another morning and that was also wonderful. The décor is fun and comfortable.

Tonight we ventured out to an amazing new hot spot for dinner. Lele's Roman opened their doors roughly 2 months ago and based on the crowd, it is clear they are a fast and furious hit! This hip hot spot is decked out in gorgeous 70's inspired decor that sets the tone for a new spin on classic Roman dishes. We opted for the 3-course Restaurant Week menu and the amazing meal that followed proved the hype is well-deserved!! We began our meal with the Rughetta e Pomodorini, which was bright, fresh and perfectly dressed to open up the meal and the Suppli al Telefono, an elegant, delicious and perfectly prepared reimagining of a traditional arancini. We selected the Polletto al Mattone con Peperoni and the Branzino al Forno alla Mediterranea. The brick roasted chicken was tender, juicy and packed with succulent flavor. The Branzino was beautifully prepared, flaky, perfectly seasoned and accompanied by delicious potatoes and cherry tomatoes Last we indulged in the Apricot Pit Panacotta served with apricot, burnt honey caramel and toasted almonds. I have had many Panacotta and can truly say this one rivals the best I have ever tasted..even in Italy!! We also delighted in the Caramelized Puff Pastry accompanied by seasonal fruit and vanilla crème anglaise. This showstopper was not only a sight to behold but absolutely delicious!! The pastry was light and flaky and the crème anglaise was a sensationally creamy balance to the medley of sweet and tart fruit. Lele's Roman is an absolute rising star and should be added to any NYC must-try list!! I look forward to working my way through their beautiful menu!!

Really loved the vibe of this place, super cozy and welcoming. There was no line when I got there, which was a nice surprise. The food was super fresh and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients. Definitely a spot I’d go back to!

Outstanding flavors and service at this cozy new Roman restaurant by the Ace Hotel. Loved the atmosphere and interior design details. The fish was absolutely perfect with lots of flavor + the white wine as well. All of the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly explaining the menu options at length for the 2 out of 3 people in our party that each had different food allergies. Will absolutely return!

Lele Roman knocks it out of the park. The beautifully decorated dining space provided an amazing atmosphere to enjoy delicious cocktails and an incredibly curated menu. The service was excellent with attentive waiting staff who seamlessly prepared the table in between each course and provided helpful suggestions when it came to ordering. The food was excellent and you can see and taste the love Chef Francesco pours into the food. Lele Roman beautifully highlights traditional Roman ingredients and plates and provides a truly unique dining experience.

Favorite new Italian spot in this neighborhood. Great cocktails, and every we tried was delicious. Highly recommend the Panzanella, Prosciutto Pinsa, and Cacio E Pepe is about as classic as it gets. The Tiramisu and Panna Cotta were the perfect way to end the meal.

Order eggs your way, it comes with delicious bread, potatoes, and avocado, all well cooked. I wish frittata was the same. A good place for brunch for sure.

We hosted our welcome drinks for out-of-town guests at Lele’s Roman, and overall, the vibe and setting were wonderful. The space is beautiful, and we had a private area that felt intimate and quiet enough for conversation while still being connected to the energy of the restaurant. It was a lovely way to kick off our wedding weekend. Leading up to the event, communication required a bit of back-and-forth, but we did have several calls with the sales manager to finalize details. We were very clear that this was a welcome-drinks-only event following our rehearsal dinner, with beer and wine plus the required passed appetizers. We also agreed that guests who wanted cocktails would order and pay at the bar themselves. On the night of the event, service was warm and hospitable, and we were paired with a very smooth-talking (and genuinely excellent) captain. In the moment—and in the spirit of keeping the evening flowing—he encouraged us to cover guest cocktails so the bar wouldn’t feel overcrowded and the team could “take care of it” for everyone. Wanting our guests to have a great experience, we agreed. That decision resulted in a final bill that was nearly three times what we had originally agreed to. While the event itself was fun and our guests truly enjoyed themselves, it’s important for future hosts to know that staying firm on bar parameters during the event is essential. Overall, Lele’s Roman is a great spot for hosting a party with beautiful ambiance and strong hospitality—just be prepared to hold the line on agreed-upon details in real time.

This restaurant has alot of charm and if I lived nearby I'd make it a regular go to. Is it worth coming from Manhattan for? Yes and no. The happy hour is great. $10 glasses of good wine. $14 martinis. A $7 happy hour charcuterie plate was also a nice nibble with the happy hour drinks . The arugula salad was delicious as was the eggplant parmesan. Very good tiramisu. But is it on the level of the finest Italians in nyc. Not quite. It's good and I would return. But it's not Da Toscano or Via Carota. BTW the waiters are true Italians and quite charming. It's also a good pre Barclay spot.

We have not been back since the restaurant changed but we had a quick brunch here and it was pretty good. Excellent service. I love that the gentleman who sat us put us at a table far away from a loud table without us asking. The Italian waiter added a bit of authenticity to the place. We enjoyed the breakfast pizza. I thought that the carpaccio needed some more pizzazz because the balsamic that was supposed to be on it wasn't there and it seemed like it could have used some more fun and flavor in the form of maybe some chopped salads or fried capers more generous serving of Parmesan. There were no figs in the Greek yogurt but they substituted apricots which were fine. I didn't get the feeling that there was a known chef attached to this restaurant like the Ace hotel in the city. That we'll come back and try it again for dinner.

Excellent addition to the neighborhood, but expect it to take 45 min to get your food and for them to bring you the wrong dish. We have come a few times and this has happened a few times. Recommend: Burrata appetizer Squash appetizer Pizzas are great Lamb

My friend and I came to eat here on a Sunday. Resetting the table in the middle of the meal was so annoying. They touched all of our utensils and rearranged all of plates. It took too long and was so uncomfortable. I had the parpadelle with oxtail which was delicious (didn't taste any celery or cocoa as mentioned, but still very good). The portion was small and expensive. My friend had the cacao e pepe, it was so bland and one note, she couldn't finish. Loved the bread, great olive oil. Two pastas were over $50. Which is INSANE give my friends pasta is just noodle, pepper, cheese and butter. Also, lots of children around.

Very cute Roman restaurant located in the Ace Hotel right by Hoyt St station. Service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was great. However, the food was not up to the expectation. I tried the restaurant week menu - the cappaccio was ok, but the cacio e pepe was a bit watery and the pasta itself wasn’t al dente enough imo. My friend’s carbonara was very dry on the other hand. Looking at other people’s pastas, the quality, portion of noodles and cheese on the top appear not to be consistent.

Went for a Friday date night with my partner. It took 15 minutes for us to receive a menu and almost an hour till we received our appetizers. We were also sat in a rather strangely placed table in the middle of the aisles for wait staff to walk through. I was bumped multiple times in the back and head by staff haphazardly scooting about. The waiter also informed us the entree my partner chose was unavailable for the restaurant week menu, even though we saw the dish being brought out after the fact to folks who were seated after us. The food itself were small portions and nothing particularly exciting. My partner’s eggplant parm-type dish had sauce that tasted like a Rao’s frozen meal (something I wish to not experience again, from the microwave or a restaurant.) My cacio e pepe was lukewarm. If we had known it was attached to a hotel, we probably would have avoided. A rather overpriced tourist spot for hotel guests at best. And terribly loud. 1.5 would be a more accurate rating.
