Peckish Albee Square Reviews
Nice and inviting comfy spot. Go to for lattes, cortado or matcha. Great quality products and consistent with flavor. Staff is always professional and calm.
A very cozy coffee shop with warm, welcoming vibes. The seating is intimate and charming, and the staff are always kind. The location is perfect and the coffee is consistently well made. A lovely spot to relax or catch up with a friend.
Great mocha and pastries (especially the savory ones) but the standouts here are the dog treats — our Milly is addicted. She’ll drag us here from blocks away…
Payed $7 for a small iced coffee, it was pretty good. Service was pretty quick
Some nice alternative drink options in addition to your standard coffee menu. Would like to come back to try more things, and I’m sure my puppy will be happy to return for the dog treats!

Came here twice while visiting from out of town. I wasn’t expecting much based on the reviews but actually it was my favorite coffee out of the several cafes we tried in Brooklyn. I got the matcha and the honey latte, both were great!
The best coffee in the city! The barista, I think her name is LJ, makes the best mocha!
Absolutely ADORABLE little cafe! Delicious matcha and cold brew, friendly baristas, and super quick to deliver my order even when they were busy! Loved it here and hope to come back soon :)
Excellent coffee (hot mocha). Perfect milk temperatures and froth. Rare to find!
Lovely spot and staff, they very kind and fun to chat with. Great flat whites. Had a couple quiches as well. They were great, love that there’s a variety coming from the main shop. A bit of mystery is always good 😊 Have visited twice over the last couple of days and will be back!!
Love this spot, my favorite neighborhood coffee shop! Baristas are always super friendly and the coffee is great. They’re baked goods are also out of this world! They don’t have guest wifi but they do have accesible outlets.
I love having this place nearby and when I'm at the park. Such a vibe. I come to you with some big praise (incredible pastries! consistently nice service!) and some feedback. Your lids. Like what are these lids. Sending you a note about it offline because I don't wanna blow up your spot and I wanna support my local joint but come onnnn please order new lids. No one likes getting hot coffee leaked all over their hands as soon as they leave the building. 5 stars still love ya smooch

Cool little spot. I always seem to make it when the breakfast sandwiches have sold out and the lunch sandwiches haven't been started 😅. I got the Rye muffin which was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. Not too sweet and the tartness of the fruit was balanced well by the rye. Will definitely be back one of these days to try a sandwich I hope.

An unassuming little counter serving good coffee and great pastries. I stopped by every Sunday morning before my baby's music class, lined up with a few other people with babies and/or dogs. It's got that family neighborhood vibe which is so nice! In that sense, it's not a destination spot but rather a great option in the area. 4 out of 5 on service, only once was there an unfriendly person. There are a few interesting lattes (the golden turmeric has a kick!), and the iced coffee is strong. Definitely try the cornmeal biscuit with jam and butter, because butter makes everything better! The wait is often 5-10 min, so plan on that! It's a lovely stroll with your fresh coffee and pastry to Ft. Greene Park nearby.

Cute spot but the matcha latte was very disappointing -- wayyyy too much matcha, not enough milk. Maybe the other drinks are good, but I can't recommend the matcha latte.
Pastries are great but as others have said, coffee quality is not what it used to be. I keep meaning to go back and see if things have changed but can't stomach both the cost and a ten-fifteen minute wait on the weekends.

So, I ordered a large latte, but they gave me a tiny one in a big cup. That's just disappointing. And a croissant for $6? Seriously?
The place is beautiful but it’s a mess. The barista on duty (Sunday, April 21) made a mistake of my milk preference and doesn’t wipe the milk frother after use. It’s very disorganized and the vibe is a no-no

Paid $8 for a "matcha latte* that was 95% milk, 5% matcha. Booooo definitely don't come here if you're looking for a good matcha! Super disappointed.
New female barista with wavy brown short hair and bangs is terrible and needs to be re-trained or fired. I am a loyal customer of at least 4 years and if I see her working I just leave . Once she gave me a latte which felt light in my hand and down the block I realized it was only half full . Literally 2-3 inches were empty in the big cup . I went back and showed her - her answer ? “We were out of milk” . What ?!? 1) how does a coffee shop run out of normal cows milk and 2) she should have told me she couldn’t make my drink . Another time my latte was barely warm , another time she gave me a cup of foam and called it a cappuccino (had zero milk in it ). I gave up and won’t patronize this place anymore if she is there . As far as I’m concerned Peckish owes me $30 for all of the nonsense this girl served me after I paid her . She is so bad at making coffee drinks she is defrauding the customers . On top of it she is a mess - if you’re the owner look at the cameras . When others work it’s clean , when she works - milk containers , stuff all over the counter - she looks dirty and keeps a dirty counter . I have managed enough restaurants - if I saw my bartender working like her they’ll be fired .
