We had such an amazing dinner experience! We ordered the Caesar salad, caprese, filet mignon, and Brussels sprouts, and everything was absolutely delicious. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly — especially the filet mignon! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was just as wonderful. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the whole evening feel special. It was truly a great night from start to finish, and we can’t wait to come back again!

We had walked past Sant Ambroeus (at Lafayette) so many times without ever taking the chance to go in, and it was absolutely worth it. Excellent breakfast overall, I’m obsessed with their Eggs Benedict, simply perfect. The dining room is beautiful and the service is truly exceptional, warm, attentive, and incredibly kind. It was our little girl’s first birthday and the staff made it so special, she was treated like a little princess by everyone, which meant so much to us. Love this place, such a gem. See you soon!

Very friendly service! It’s such a nice restaurant and I love the terrace on sunny days. The spicy rigatoni plate was very good and the Princess Cake is the best princess cake I’ve ever had. Perfect lunch break in Soho.

Ate here with my mother for a quick dinner on a Thursday. Cocktails were delightful, the Gnocchi Ossobuco was absolutely fantastic, Veal Milanese was yummy. To top it off service was fantastic - The team clearly know what they're doing, and enjoy doing it.

Food is delicious! The cocktails are amazing with a perfect wine list. The staff is very attentive, our server Yannet recommended us a few dishes and picked a great bottle of wine for us. Will be adding this spot to our regular dinning places.

Fantastic Italian leaning food and excellent cocktail menu. Their pasta dishes are outstanding, balancing the delicate fresh pasta with inventive sauces and beautiful presentation. We also had the filet, which was expertly seared and perfectly seasoned. And the desserts are standout too. I’ll also say that the restaurant was very busy but wasn’t loud at all. They do a great job of knocking down sound so it’s not overwhelmingly loud. Absolutely loved this meal and will definitely come back

truly a 10/10 experience. the wait staff was professional and just stellar. and you can tell looking at this place they take their service and standards seriously. no doubt in my mind this has to be a staple of soho culture.

We came here for lunch on a warm September weekday and the outdoor area was at full capacity. Would definitely recommend making reservations. The service and food was impeccable. We had the artichoke and arugula salad with grilled chicken and BLT followed by the famous “princess cake” for dessert.

Looking for a nice quick breather from a day in NYC, then can't go wrong w/ Sant Ambroeus Cafe. We enjoyed a beautiful terramisu, passion fruit gelato & Cappuccinos. Always make it a point to stop in when visiting from Cali.

We came here on a Monday night and the restaurant was at capacity for its outdoor seating. You definitely need a reservation in the summer. It was a great spot with outdoor seating and amazing salmon! The pasta is delicious as well.

If there’s a place to fall in love with, it’s Sant Ambroeus. The vibe is unmatched—chic yet relaxed—and the food is consistently excellent. It’s the perfect spot for a coffee, a long lunch, or a casual dinner, and it never disappoints. Plus, it’s great for people-watching, making the whole experience even better.

Sant Ambroeus is undeniably beautiful and the food is good, but it is quite pricey for what it is. A simple salad and coffee can easily add up. That said, the atmosphere is lovely and the service from Korra was excellent. A nice spot for a treat, but maybe not an everyday place.

We sat in one of the “wooden sheds” on the sidewalk. At the beginning it took some time until we could order, the service seemed a bit slow. However, this improved during our stay. Very friendly and professional staff. The food (every single dish, from starters to main courses) was excellent. The portions however, were quite small for the price (even from a European perspective). Our conclusion: At Cipriani the service is faster, the food selection is better, the prices are a little “cheaper” and everything is as tasty (or better) than here

The dining ambiance at Sant Ambroeus is elegant & charming, with a good noise level that allows for easy conversation. The pasta dishes were a bit hit-or-miss: the Cacio e Pepe was satisfyingly rich and cheesy, while the Linguine al Mare tasted light in flavor and somewhat underwhelming. The Ricotta Cheesecake was a delightful surprise to end the meal, with warm spices and a flavor reminiscent of pumpkin pie.

Not bad but if are expecting real pasta stay away. Great dessert and mocktails

Came in on a rainy day with my son in his stroller, I was so appreciative that they were able to accommodate us. Service was a bit slow but understandable for a friday evening. My only disappointment was the food. I usually order delivery and the fettuccine bolognese is always PERFECT. My favorite pasta dish. Unfortunately during my first time eating in, the pasta was way overcooked, not that beautiful al dente I always get with my delivery orders. It was so overcooked I could barely pick it up with my fork and it became quite hard to eat and was a disappointing first visit. The flavors were all there but maybe I'll stick to delivery?

I love the place ambiance, deco, staff, wine carte. I was not much impressed with the food. I ordered a pasta con vongole that was not rich in taste, the vitello with tuna lacked flavors and salad seasoning did not soak the salad beautiful veggies. We were very well welcomed, and the host took very good care of us.

I had high expectations, but unfortunately, we didn’t have a great experience. First of all the staff were quite rude. They all had an attitude and the service was super slow. Food was mediocre for the price you pay. would not recommend.

It genuinely saddens me to write this because I’ve always enjoyed the food and atmosphere here. The meals have consistently been well prepared and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the service has not matched that standard. During my most recent visit, I was seated near the kitchen and overheard the general manager using very aggressive unprofessional language. The staff seemed tense and on edge, and service was noticeably slow as employees were repeatedly pulled aside. As a server myself, I understand how much leadership impacts performance, and I don’t blame the staff, it appeared to be a stressful work environment created from the higher ups. This restaurant has so much potential, but professionalism and a positive workplace culture matter just as much as good food. I hope management takes this seriously. Until then, I won’t be returning.

I always go to this restaurant to eat three or four times a week and I've never had any complaints, but today the bartender who served me didn't ask if I wanted water, and I didn't even get to taste the glass of wine he poured. He just served it, and there was much less wine than usual. Tonight I didn't see Mo or Marcos to explain my disappointment, since I go to this place because it's supposed to be a special place, but the service was like that of a dive bar. After that I paid for my drink and left
