Luigi's Italian Kitchen Angleton Reviews
I came from Houston to try their Spaghetti, and oh my goodness their Meatballs are to Die for. Their sauce puts my grandmother to shame, but dont tell her that cause she might be snooping around yelp (or something) Either way, They're the Kind of Family Olive Garden Wants to put a hit on, but it's too late cause I sent The Boyardee sisters to "give them a... stern talking to". If you're near the angleton area tell them Paulie sent ya, and thanks for da extra meatballs.
We had the Luigi's salad to go. It was delicious. Last week we had the meatball sub. Best i have ever eaten.
Came here on a whim with my mother and really enjoyed the food. The atmosphere was really calm, music was relaxing, and the service was on point. I forgot the server's name but she has like dark brown hair alil older , but she was very attentive and accommodating to us. We will be back ! Also its very old school which i admire.
Ordered a pizza, calamari and stuffed mushrooms. Everything was phenomenal!!! Authentic Italian food! Welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff!
Great food service was fast and nice very quiet calm place to eat I’ll be back
Great food. Nice atmosphere. Will go back.
My husband took me here for Valentine's. It was the our first experience here. The only complaint we have is we waited so long to come. The food was excellent and our waitress was sooo sweet! The owner came out and talked to us and was so nice. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was great! We had at wonderful experience and will definitely be dining here regularly! Will absolutely recommend to everyone!
I got the lunch portion of spaghetti with meat sauce. The portion was enough for 2 meals and tasted great!! Our food came out quickly and piping hot. The service was excellent and friendly. We will definitely be back.
This is a small, quiet little diner in Angleton. The food is really good. Our server, Paityn, was friendly and helpful. I had the pasta sampler and hubby had eggplant rolatini. Both were very good (I forgot to take pics). We will definitely be back.
The food is always good and priced great! The service was fine. The waitress yelled across the restaurant to sit anywhere "on THIS side". The atmosphere is not my fave, but I'm also not there for fine dining.
Good Italian food, not great, which is the only reason I had to give the four star rating. The staff are awesome and aim to please.
I have lived in Angleton for years and never thought to eat here, the outside looked a little outdated lol. I decided to finally give it a try because you can sometimes find some of the best food in places like this… I’m so glad we gave it a try.. affordable, delicious and local. Don’t knock it till you try it!
The service was super great I could not have been happier with all the attention we got. The food was also great though the stromboli was maybe a little to much crust and not enough filling. Even with that it was still wonderful. I will stop in again and 8 suggest you do too!
Ok. This place use to be really good. Line the hidden gem hole in the wall place. I ordered spaghetti with meatballs. Maybe it’s how they do it. But I got a few small meatballs and just the sauce that the meatballs were cooked in, like it was not enough sauce to cover the noodles. My husband got spaghetti with meat sauce and his was covered. Maybe that’s just their recipe. I use to be a waitress, I know how tips work and if I’m going to tip I usually do it in cash and I had ordered online in this case. While I was gathering up my phone and purse I overheard the two members of the wait staff that were there ask one another if I had tipped. They whispered but I still heard them. I find this rude. I don’t owe you a tip, it is nice to leave a tip, but you definitely don’t mention anything about someone leaving one. Not an over all pleasant experience for me.
First time here and my husband and I wanted Italian food so we been wanting to try this place for a while. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with “Hello”. We didn’t wait long to sit down. There was a good crowd for a Friday night, so we thought we would be waiting for our food but we didn’t. Our waitress was Christine and she was a lovely person. She knew everything about the menu and told us what people order a lot of.She was very polite and didn’t rush us. We ordered the lobster ravioli and chicken fettuccine with some cheese sticks. It was very good. We enjoyed our dinner . Next time we want to try their pizza , they look very delicious also. Our bill was about $45 dollars. Our waitress Christine was always checking on us and asking if we need anything, when you come in everyone should ask for her, the other waitress didn’t seem happy at there jobs like her.We will definitely be back soon. We paid around $45 dollars for two meals and one sweet tea and a water. Not a bad price for dinner
Not a good experience. The food was not good at all. Im not a picky eater. This was not doable. One and done.
My husband went there to get us food and ordered 2 Stromboli with extra sauce and extra ranch. He waited outside and the lady came out with one calzone (not a Stromboli) and no extra nothing. When we warmed up it opened and we could see inside. There's barely no filing and it honestly looks like cat food. Not what you expect when you buy it from a Italian restaurant.
