We visited Batch Craft Beer & Kolaches (3220 Manor Rd, Austin, TX) for Father’s Day breakfast at my daughter’s recommendation—and I can confidently say these were the best kolaches I’ve ever tasted. They’re made fresh on-site in a small prep area behind the counter where a dedicated team works the dough from scratch all morning. The pastry is warm, buttery, and incredibly flavorful. I tried the Sausage Jalapeño Cheese and Ham & Cheese kolaches—both were excellent, but the jalapeño sausage stole the show. My wife and daughter went for the Strawberry Cream kolache and raved about it. They also offer a variety of sweet kolaches including pineapple and more, depending on availability. At about $4.80 per kolache, the price felt completely fair for the quality. The environment was cozy, the outdoor seating was completely adequate, and parking was not an issue at all. Whether you’re local or visiting Austin, don’t miss this hidden gem. A perfect place to start your day.

So woah! Best kolache I have ever had and that is fresh off having made the requisite pilgrimage just a few days ago from West! First off this venue, a stately 1945 structure is a fantastic venue for coffees d beer. Disappointed that Spyder House is no longer that I would gladly make the trek here to enjoy the shade of their mature oaks and spacious outdoor space to enjoy yard games and music. Most importantly, the kolaches are amazing! I am glad my friend recommended this.

Brewery #7 of Part 2 of my Austin brewery visits. Batch Craft Beers & Kolaches is a must-try! They brew their own craft beer in-house, and it’s seriously impressive. Great variety, well-executed styles, and something for every beer lover. But the real kicker? The kolaches. Huge selection, super flavorful, and they pair perfectly with the beer. They’ve really nailed both the brewing and the baking—this combo just works. A unique Austin spot that’s absolutely worth a visit!

Absolutely delicious! First time coming to this place and is sooo good! I would definitely come back. I recommend you the jalapeño sausage and chesse and if looking for something sweet, I tried the peanut butter and jelly and it's fire! Won't disappoint you. I had a cappuccino and it was on point. New to Kolache game but these place is my new gold standard. WOW! The key to kolaches is the bread and they do it right! Incredibly soft and has the right amount of give. Couple that with some delicious fillings and the right amount of cheese and you have a recipe for deliciousness. Recommend the Jalapeno Sausage and Cheese! And if you want something sweet then get the Strawberry and Cream.

Great atmosphere. Good food. Didn’t get any beer, but they pulled a tasty espresso. I went when there was a live jazz band, and it was awesome. Employees are friendly, seating is open, you can choose your own beer in the fridges. We got the pepperoni and ham and cheese kolaches. They were out of the sweet ones when we got there at 3pm, but that’s expected. Would definitely suggest if you wanted a chill place for drinks and yummy snacks.

The atmosphere was great, some people were just cutting the line and the people in the line were very much polite. The band was good too. They have good selection of beers. We tried Pilsner, the Hazy IPA was not that great. Jalapeno Kolache was very good.

Batch Craft Beer & Kolaches is a total hidden gem in Austin! I stopped by with my buddy looking for a spot to grab coffee to go. Instantly fell for the kolaches. The interior is super neat and clean, with a well-decorated space that's perfect for working or just chillin'. The atmosphere's got great energy - love the open layout and relaxing feels. The good is amazing, the servers were very kind and patient, the only reason I marked it 3 stars instead of 5 is because they didn’t have a lot of what I was asking for (caramel flavor for coffee/decaf coffee/skim milk) which isn’t the end of the world but was a bit of a bummer. The kolaches were flippin delicious and I would certainly recommend people to come here. I could also see it being a great spot to sit and work on homework too.

Ordered 3 kolaches to go early in the day. Had to go around to the back patio as the interior is closed due to the lingering elements of the pandemic. The kolaches were quite good. I ordered the: jalapeño sausage & cheese, ham & cheese and the pepperoni. I look forward to when they are fully opened again.

Really gross kolaches for absurd prices. We tried a traditional and a PB&J kolache. The crust was stale and the filling was rancid. The staff express open disdain for their customers.
