We typically just go here for their live crawfish, but this year our daughter requested for her big 1-0 birthday to eat there in person. We ordered all the appetizers and had their boiled crawfish and ate to our heart’s content! Everyone was so accommodating and sweet to make her big day a fun one! Thank y’all so much for letting us set up shop 🥳🦞🥔 🌽

What a gem we are so lucky to have this in Northwest Austin. Whether you’re picking up something to make at home in the frozen food section, which is a huge selection or most recently went to try their new recipe potato soup with andouille sausage and it was fantastic. The service and quality are always top notch.

+ Some of the best fried catfish that I’ve ever had. + Boudin balls are fantastic. + Delaware Punch is sold here + Store feels exactly like being in a neighborhood store in New Orleans. + Sells other take home items such as frozen alligator - Kind of a far drive from Austin. - Not a ton of parking during peak hours. There’s a lot of spots claiming to do Cajun style food in the Austin area, but this is like one of two that actually do it.

I love their frozen specialty foods section. Every year for the holidays I'll treat my family to a selection of Stuffed meats and sides. Just follow the instructions and they cook up perfectly. Also, considering the prep and high quality ingredients that go into these meals, the price cannot be beat!

As an actual cajun I can say this is the best and most authentic cajun food you can get. Not just in Austin or in Texas - the best period. Louisiana included. Unless you can get my parents to cook you some gumbo in which case Stuffed is a strong 2nd place.

Went here for the first time and got a gator poboy with cajun fries, gumbo, and jambalaya. It is all amazing! The poboy and gumbo is the best ive gotten in this city hands down! Prices were super reasonable too and portions are big! I cant wait to come back! Loved it!

We purchased a whole boneless chicken stuffed with dirty rice here. We are from Louisiana and the whole family loved it. Service at the counter was very friendly and prompt. Atmosphere even reminded me of home a little bit. When I dropped by, they had an artist hand-painting an advertisement for Thanksgiving Turduckens. Cool to see that! Will definitely visit again to try out some other offerings.

This place is a gem!! I'm from Louisiana originally, and this is an authentic cajun meat market and the food is amazing! This is my first time reviewing but LONG time customer since they opened. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I can't pick a favorite item on the menu honestly, everything tastes and feels like southern Louisiana. They have frozen dishes to make at home or you can ordered something fresh from the daily menu. They also cater or do large orders for pick up. The staff is very friendly. 100% recommend, if you love cajun food this place is a MUST try. There is also a South Austin location too.

Absolutely loved this spot! The Cajun flavors were bold, authentic, and cooked to perfection. From the gumbo to the crawfish étouffée, every bite had that rich, comforting taste you only get from true Southern cooking. The service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere made it feel like we were right in the heart of Louisiana. If you're craving authentic Cajun food with great portions and a welcoming vibe, this place is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back for the Etouffee.

This Cajun meat market is an excellent find in the neighborhood. Ordered a small Turducken roll for Thanksgiving that easily feeds 4…….delicious. Be sure to use a meat thermometer and follow their very detailed instructions for prep and cooking. You will not be disappointed. I can’t wait to return for lunch and pick up some boudin to go.

I loved the Fried Gator, so tender and tasty. Shrimp Po boy was also great. The fried shrimp alone was really good. Definitely trying everything on the menu eventually. Jambalaya was well seasoned and delicious.

First time. Tried gumbo, redfish, catfish basket, crawfish egg rolls. Only issue was eggrolls were not edible. Absolutely loved fried okra. Good batter on fish. Everything else was nice. Pics attached. Friendly service.

I really enjoyed the food. It was my first time trying out Stuffed and was unsure what to expect. The food is excellent, and they have tones of items in the store to choose from for purchase. Although I am not a fan of farmed raised fish, this was really good and had a clean taste. The cashier he was extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend giving this place a try because I am sure you will find something to your liking. I had Fried Catfish, Reg Gumbo, and Green Beans

We had the shrimp po boy and oyster po boy. Both were good. I recommend this place if you're in Cedar Park and looking for po boys.

Overall, it was pretty good. I did love the alligator bites. They didn't have any crawfish. Is kind of why I marked it down. He said he was having a tough time with his supplier. Very personal people. And they do have a lot of Cajun seasonings and stuff like that, if you're looking for any of that. So it's kind of a mini mini Cajun market, along with a restaurant.

Great price for a variety of southern classics. The staff were professional and courteous. I was really looking forward to the gator, but it was a little too fried to appreciate its flavor. But perhaps that's how it's meant to be. I was pretty stuffed by the end.

Meh. As a Cajun, I’ll be honest and say this place is hit or miss on prepared food. The Po’boys are pretty good, piled high with shrimp and a very tasty remoulade. Hits the spot every time. Cannot recommend either of their boudin’s. Why are y’all afraid of liver in your boudin? It ain’t boudin without liver. The gumbo and etoufee is just ok. Nothing special. The frozen Cajun food and seasonings are definitely worth checking out. 3 stars.

Picture is the Intro to Cajun comb I had. We also ordered a large poboy but the cashier accidentally put in order an item that was a little cheaper instead. We found out when we saw the receipt and immediately let the cashier know, and they acknowledged that. Later they brought out a small poboy sandwich to justify the price, but a small poboy was even cheaper than the wrong item we paid for. It was such an ordeal that we just wanted to return the dish and get our money back. Then the owner/manager stepped in and said they got it taken care of. In the end, the employee (who brought out the small sandwich originally and argued with us) gave us both a large sandwich to go and the price difference in cash, which felt like an insult and we were being unreasonable. It was handled so poorly that everybody was upset. We just wanted the item we ordered and would have paid the price difference if that’s what it takes to get it right, even though that was not our mistake from the first place.

I was born in NOLA and poorboys have been a way of life for years. I ordered the Shrimp Poorboy and Jambalaya. If you have never had a po-boy, this place might be worth your time. However, if you have eaten in New Orleans, Lafayette, etc., this will not satisfy. The shrimp are small and overseasoned. The shrimp poorboys in Louisiana are made with large gulf shrimp...the difference is night and day with regard to flavor and texture. Jambalaya is made differently by almost everyone. The jambalaya at The Stuffed Cajun is not even remotely what one would encounter in NOLA. This is iconic New Orleans cuisine, and at this restaurant, it misses on both.

Ordered on New Years Eve so that could have been the issue. Okra has a seasoning that was overly salty. Red beans/rice, gumbo, and catfish had no seasoning. Alligator was really tasty and the portions were better then we expected. We probably caught them on an off day but no way we’d spend the money on a family dinner again. We’ll give them another chance with a smaller meal down the road when we’re back in town

This place was recommended from Facebook food group.. I gave 2 stars because it's 6 minutes from my job. I ordered the small shrimp poboy. Glad I did the shrimp was over seasoned. So I took them off so I basically had a veggie poboy. The fries were not french fries they were potato sticks.

I’ve eaten genuine homemade NOLA cuisine and this is where my rating comes from. This food was generic and over seasoned or under seasoned. Chili was a random purchase we just wanted to try and nooooooo! Gator was not gator sorry. Shrimp PoBoy was meh and the catfish tasted like slimes crunchy grease. Cashiers were the only thing that saved the experience for me. Wouldn’t go back.
