very chill vibes and amazing friendly staff recommend going during lunch hours
Excellent food and service. The avocado fries shocked me, really was a hit with my wife and I. My parmesan crusted burger was delicious. The drinks are very good as well.
We had a great time here. The atmosphere is so nice and friendly, everyone here is so patient and takes our order with care. Our server Mehrose I think thats her name, was great. She helped us with drink recommendations and also gave us suggestions on good food. We also ordered the honey sriracha wings, didnt take a picture of that, but it was spicy heaven. Salad was so good because of the dressing, and the chicken was satisfying. 100/100!
Sean immediately greeted us and offered us the best seat in the house on a fabulous afterwork impromptu. Followed by Steven’s yummy recommendations on the best food and drinks of the menu. It’s a must go to spot on a night you need to wind down and hang with your people’s! Sean and Steven is a tag team you wouldn’t want to miss. They definitely take care of you !
Took my brother here before he left back to Cali... We started about 5pm but by 7, the place got packed for a Wed night. I always like to try either different beer or cider and this time I tried the Black Widow Cider which was delicious. The food was good nothing spectacular but good for gastropubs. Cool place to kick back with friends and enjoy some good drinks and food. Place gets pretty loud so be prepared to talk loudly even when the person is on the other side of table
I ordered the “Mac and Steez” and the “Crispy Beer Battered Fish Sandwich”. Everything was absolutely delicious! You very rarely taste food this good anymore. Someone in the kitchen really understands complex flavor profiles. Harlem Public - please keep doing what you’re doing.
An amazing neighbourhood spot, with hangover brunch food, awesome cocktails, and a fun feel. We’ve come many times and it’s a really great experience. The service is at times slightly slow, but servers are friendly, and the food is excellent. Edited Nov 2025 with more photos: we still love coming here, and while the Doritos quesadilla remains among the all-time favorites, the peanut butter burger was great and the Irish coffee martini was excellent.
Harlem Public is my go-to spot in the neighborhood. The cocktails are delicious and reasonably priced ($13-17), they have a good selection of beers and ciders which are also well priced (~$7), the music and vibes are great, and the staff are friendly. Also their tater tots are addictive. They usually have sports games going on the TV, and indie music playing in the background. My only criticism is that most of the burgers need a little more acidity. If youre getting food and drinks you can expect to spend around $30.
The quality was a genuinely unexpected find. Their food consistently delivers satisfaction. The service personnel showed remarkable consistency from start to finish. This restaurant has a nice feel to it. There are zero issues to report.
Went on a Saturday night so the place was PACKED! Still had a fun time and my craving was fulfilled. I used to order from them a lot when they still had a spot a Northend which was MUCH closer to me than this location but craved their Poprocks marg and tater tots so much that I figured to take the trip and def worth the trip!
Was on the way out the city. Decided to stop and grab some food a little later in the night around 11 pm stumbled on Harlem Public. Great atmosphere, great music, great service. Grabbed some wings and fries. Awesome wings, good size wings, crispy, really good sauce. Only let down was the fries bunch of little pieces, might have been because we were there a little late. But overall great experience. Will visit again.
Finally came here for lunch and we were the first people there (they just opened) and immediately was greeted by Alley and I knew right away she was going to be a great waitress! Drinks were on point! (I’m picky) lol and the food was good too I got the loaded grilled cheese! If you like comfort food and genuine service this is THE SPOT!
I love this place. Such an amazing safe neighborhood feel. The good is always comforting. I’ve had the Parmesan Burger before and loved it. Chicken and Waffles are super. I had the Grilled Cheese and chicken chunks on my last visit and both were top notch bar food choices. I go here about once a month. I usually get to see cute Price when I’m there who is super charming and welcoming. I forget her name, but the female server that’s an actress is mad sweet and easy on the eyes. 😻. This place is LGBTQIA friendly. And a great first date spot with no pressure and you won’t feel guilty about picking up the check.
So we decided to come to @harlempublic on a last-minute idea, and you knew the Bodegafatboys were gonna order something delicious. Anywho we've been here numerous amount of times and decided to feature one of our favorite places which is Harlem Public! The food here never disappoints portion sizes are great and the combinations they offer with these meals are slightly unheard of. (I'll give you an example of what I mean below) What I love about coming here with the crew everyone always leaves out here with a smile. I've never had one bad experience here at all great tasting food, cheap drinks! Despite eating here during a pandemic we have to deal with outdoor dining so mostly everything is served in a plastic solo to go Tupperware. It's unfortunate you won't get to see these beautiful dishes presented properly the way the chef intends you to see his creations. Overall regardless if it's in a too-go plastics food still tastes top notch and will always support this local business. . . . So here are the food menu items we ate before and what's in them. . . . . 1. Maple butter fried 🐔. Crispy fried thigh, brown sugar bacon NY cheddar, drippy egg on maple butter brioche. 2. Honey Sriracha wings 3. Dorito Quesadilla. Chicken breast, Dorito cream cheese spread 4. Mac & Steez Chorizo .
Pretty far place for those living outside Manhattan but I would definitely recommend it if you’re around the area. I got the popular peanut butter signature burger and the fried chicken thigh. Both really tasty but I’ve had better fries, esp the sweet potato fries. The place is pretty packed but has a lively vibe to it. Remember they have brunch on weekends until 3 pm; and theres a 1 hr gap until the kitchen is ready for dinner again at 4 pm.
Came on a Thursday and was the first customer as they just opened. Excellent service even as it got busy. Food was fast and tasted great. We got a lemonade, a special of the day, cheese curds with ranch dressing, and burgers. The burgers are cooked perfectly and are some of the best we have had. Got brie, brown sugar bacon, and cheese. Wife added mushrooms to hers. Would highly recommend and would come back again. Make sure you get the tater tots as well.
This is a classic staple in my order in rotation - they have some of the best gluten free buns I've had! The service is fast and reliable

BYO Burger is the way to go. They are very stingy with their sauce on other items (fried chicken sandwich came with less than a teaspoon of sauce, plus the chicken itself tasted unseasoned). Was very disappointed to waste money on this sandwich and not even be able to finish it. However, the burgers and fries are delicious, if a bit pricey. I won't make a mistake ordering other items again!
This was a nice little spot for a casual dinner. They have a decent selection of craft beers on tap and a good menu of pub food including some creative burgers. I got the peanut butter. My first time having peanut butter on a burger but have to say, along with the ample bacon, it compliments it quite nicely. Nice big beefy burger as well. The tater tots are quite good too - nice and crunchy. I’d come back if in the neighborhood
I randomly came here one day after work. The service, the food and the drinks were great. My puppy tagged along so I sat outside to eat. I ordered the purple rain drink and the chicken tenders. My bf and his friend ordered burgers. Yo, the chicken tenders was the BEST tenders I ever had. And as for the drink, it was so good and so smooth. I loved it. I recommend coming here on a day after work.

Great pub food with a down to earth atmosphere. We had the Mac and cheese, beyond burger and regular beef burger. All were very tasty. Service was also very attentive.
I order from here from time to time and love that their fries are hand cut, however, lately I’ve been noticing the fries come really dark and overcooked. I can tell the oil has not been changed and that ruins my meal as the taste completely changes and is no longer enjoyable to eat. Please consider changing your oil more often, fries should not be orange and hard.
food pickup was super confusing but my bad for not paying attention to the fact that the orders are going through At the Wallace. \nMy burger was honestly super dry and the fries were limp though. …
I’m not sure how to rate Harlem Public. I wanted to like it, but of everything our table ordered - a burger, a loaded grilled cheese, mozzarella sticks, wings, fried cauliflower, Caesar salad, and fried pickles, the best was the wings. Nothing had any flavor. We were pouring and pouring salt on our food. I ordered a burger medium and it was more than well done. But I our server was excellent and took the burger off.
They never include coleslaw with the pulled pork sandwich and I order it every time. Makes the sandwich inedible and dry. Horrible for delivery.
