Alnoor Halal Deli Brooklyn Reviews
came from Toronto and had the best Philly cheesesteak and chopped cheese. Super flavourful and large portions, service was amazing 10/10. Would 100% come again next time I’m in New York.
The owner is the nicest person ever! The tastiest food made by the best workers. The quality of the food combined with the cheap prices makes this my go-to spot! Make sure you visit whenever you get a chance!
One of the best deli’s in New York City. Their food is amazing. It’s not expensive and you get a good size serving. The 2 people working behind the counter are so welcoming. Five stars hands down !
This is an amazing place. I came all the way from California to try this out. The owner is very nice and generous. He is very friendly. The chopped cheese was one of the best I've tried. I would definitely come back again.
5’s all around the board. Same owner, same taste, same atmosphere since the start. 0 complaints.
This place is a hidden gem. Best halal food, hands down!! Great prices, quality and quantity!! Love their sandwiches and plates,.. so good!!
One of the best burgers i've ever tasted in my entire life! By far the best burger. The owner is a very nice and humble man who's always kind. The philly cheese steak is amazing. Everything on the menu is amazing. I've had burgers from all over but this is hand's down my top favorite spot. We travel from jersey every now and then just for this food. And the prices are very reasonable. The taste is the best.
We ate here every day on our 4-day stay. The food is delicious and affordable, exactly what you look for when visiting Brooklyn. Try the lentil soup! My mom loved it and she's quite the cook herself. The owner was very kind. They also serve breakfast.
I can't say enough about those people. I relocated from NY 11 years ago and i went to visit with my family 3 days ago and the food tasted the same was i left it. Not only that, the guy who makes the sandwiches is so energetic and fast. He works the same way i left him. God bless you and thank you for the free soda. Columbus people, if you would to go to NY, please visit this place.
I ordered half chicken with rice, falafels, fries, and soup. The chicken came with rice , beans, and salad . The chicken was fall off the bone and delicious. Every part of it was so juicy and only 7$! The falafels too were very inexpensive at 3 for 1$. Cmon , where can you find prices like that in NYC. They even added fried eggplant free of charge. They really blessed up with the food along with the portions. This was the first time I’ve ordered from there and it definitely won’t be the last. They have exceptional workers , with unbeatable prices .
Have been coming here for roughly 5+ years and has never disappointed. Delicious food full of flavor and for an amazing price. The uncles behind the grill are extremely nice and courteous. Come here whenever I’m in the area.
I eat here every day, the owner is the nicest man on this planet. The food is great, and on top of that cheap. I mean you will be spending 2x anywhere else for the quality and amount he gives. Please consider eating here.
The best Philly cheese steak i ever tried the food is so good they pretty friendly and nice
Don't be fooled by the term "deli"... The food here is beyond basic deli fare, and it's GOOD! From breakfast items to Philly cheese steak type sandwiches, heroes for parties, and much more, you won't regret stopping by. The owners are genuine, friendly and always welcoming. Honestly, your only regret might be that you don't live closer 🙈
For whatever the reason, I keep thinking of those beans that came on top of the rice....This is truly a hidden gem. The food quality, portion and taste are great. I love the falafel and my wife loves the chicken.
I've been coming here for 15 years. You couldn't go through school without having some. Great food, value, and service every time. What a treat! Chicken cutlet and fries always take me back.
I discovered this place while looking for an authentic falafel. While the exterior of the shop make it look more like a corner bodega and the interior looks like that of a run down take out joint the food is amazing. My falafel was packed and fresh and hot. I found a little foil wrap of pickles to go with my sandwich and one little extra. There was four full sized napkins in the bag. I know that sounds trivial but no one wants those cheap napkins that protect nothing and absorb less. I think this is a gem of a spot and you can tell it’s a neighborhood favorite give the folks constantly coming in and going out.
Love this place. Everything here is prepared same day, nothing frozen. I watched the owner put a tray of fresh seasoned chicken in the oven this morning for slow roasting (and it falls off the bone), and he's told me they grind their beef in house daily for their burgers. Their chicken pita sandwich is my favorite, stuffed with grilled chicken and onions for $5. Try something, you'll like it.
My friend and I came to this area from Queens to meet up with a friend in the morning. We were looking for a quick breakfast spot. Thank god we found Al Noor, Mohammed who is behind the counter was super genuine and is proud of what he does. You can see him cooking your food behind the counter so you know there’s nothing to hide. Oh wait, can’t forget about the prices!!! Very affordable for the amazing food. Highly highly recommend this spot.
I tried the Philly steak cheese sandwich,it was very yummay, very large and so clean. The owner is vey nice and sweet. He added yogurt salad and a big punch of pickles on the side , without me asking, I also ordered fries and everything was less than 11 dollars ❤️love the place ❤️
One of my favorite food 🥘 spots 💯💙🙏 I always order kofta kabab sandwich from here recommended 💯💯💯💯
I come almost everyday for lunch/ Dinner, the food is absolutely great! The service is really friendly and great, even the cook is really nice, he is absolutely amazing in his cooking. Really nice place which is why I keep coming, definitely will recommend to anyone
Me and my family love their Cheeseburger deluxe. Huge, delicious, juicy cheese burger with perfect fries and a pickle wedge. Way better than any fast food joint. Better food for less money and The guys inside are very friendly too.
Tasty food with generous portions for a great price. I had the Falafel plate, which included salad, hummus, pita and fries. The staff was friendly. I would for sure visit again when I'm in the area. Highly recommend.
I love their food so much. I've been eating their food for the past 13 years. It's a food haven! ❤️
Consistent flavor pricing and quality, love this place
Best chicken and rice in NYC and it’s not even close
Love it here! One of my favorite neighborhood spots, affordable and delicious :)
Wow! My first visit here and I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak—it was incredible! The sandwich was so delicious, I haven't had one like it in ages. The price is very reasonable too. Highly recommend!
Love this place. Always buy food for lunch. I work at unbox so it’s super convenient. But today I must say those cheeseburgers were amazing. From the burgers to chicken over rice amongst many other things. Amazing! Delicious and you can tell they use fresh ingredients.
Great halal deli in Brooklyn. The food was awesome and everything we ordered was freshly made. We got the chopped cheese, pastrami sandwich, Philly cheesesteak sandwich, fried shrimp, and kabob over rice. Everything was very tasty and the portion sizes were very generous. The price for the food is also very affordable. The best thing about this place is the customer service. The owner Uncle Musa was very friendly and hospitable. My family and I very much so enjoyed this place and will be visiting whenever we come back to NYC.
The food was sooooo delicious. The owner (from Egypt) was very friendly. It really tasted very good. Prices are excellent. I will definitely come back here again
Business runs by big heart habibi. Cheap price for delicious meals and don’t take tips. Very proud of their work.
Food is really good for a quick lunch. I’ve stopped by here multiple times to get the Philly. I’ve also tried their fish over rice, chicken over rice, all really good. I do hope inflation doesn’t affect this business. Brothers in the store are really kind as well.
Best food place. The prices are REALLY affordable. The burger was really nice with a side of fresh wings. The cook was very nice, as well as the worker.
One of the best values in New York City. Great food, great portions, and great prices. Everything is good, but the half chicken over rice is a personal favorite. I have probably had it well over 100 times at this point. You will not only be getting a great meal, you will be supporting a business run by people who take pride in their food and in welcoming in all of their neighbors.
I've been going to these for 15 years. I've had burgers in many places, but this is and will always be my number 1 top spot. The portions are so big. It feels heavy to hold a double bacon cheeseburger in my hand. The smokey flavor of the turkey bacon always makes my mouth water just from the smell. Moved to jersey from Brooklyn, but I do not mind the hour commute just for their food. And the brother he always welcomes me and knows all my family. And is always so courteous and kind. In Sha Allah, may this business thrive for decades to come.
Kindest owners/workers, amazing food, delicious and authentic and served with heart, also everything is very very good price, I will be coming here all the time! I had lamb pita sandwich, with a drink less than $10 and delicious
Best food out here! I've been coming here for years, food is always great, never had any complaints. Magdi is always on point with making the sandwiches. I highly recommend this to everyone. Get the Philly cheese steak or any of the options on menu, Food will not disappoint.
One of the best deli restaurants I have visited I recommend the chicken over rice with falafel’s and lamb, white sauce and hot sauce on top This is one of the best in Brooklyn and in my opinion Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, and New Jersey hands-down and it’s very very very cheap. The guy in the register very nice. I met a Koch intell Lady I couldn’t meet the guy on the grill but they were very very nice people If you have time for a day off, go and check this place out, he will not regret it …….
Al Noor Halal Deli is fantastic and delicious! Best Falafel in the neighborhood hands down and the best priced plates. I always go back for their Roast Chicken dinners, it falls off the bone and its so damn good and it's a great price! Don't let those Burgers slip though they are literally phenomenal, home ground chuck. I have tried almost the whole menu at this point and it is my hands down favorite local spot to eat. You can dine in and the service is warming, the location is quaint, its simple but I always bring people there and they all have glowing reviews. This place is an establishment in the neighborhood, the owners make you feel welcomed and they really appreciate their customers. I speak with them often and they really do make their food with love, they prepare it each day from their own recipes and source great ingredients. When I eat there it makes me feel like I went over to a friends house who just made made dinner and they set a plate expecting me to eat more. I love them, they love me, you will love them too!
Oh god Fooood was sooooo goood mashAllah. Like i didnt know a grilled chicken wrap can be that juicy and a phihlly cheese steak can be so flavorful. Like seriously i was amazed. like people be going to fancy restaurants and get fancy food and pay a ton and its not even that good sometimes but this is sooo freakin good Allahu Akbar. And the old man that works there, his enthusiasm and his mood really brings a smile to your face. DEFINENTLY RECOMMEND Its amazing food with amazing prices
This spot is a hidden gem in Brooklyn. The staff is seriously the best. You walk in greeted with smiles and you get the same kind of warmth as if it’s grandmas cooking. Not to mention the food is on par with grandmas. Their meat is fresh (never frozen) and their burgers, Philly cheese steaks, chicken cutlets, etc. are some of the best I’ve had in the area. Cannot recommend Al Noor enough for anything you’re craving!
I have to take some pictures of the great sandwiches I've had over the years at this place. Their hospitality is great and so are their prices. I've never been disappointed and always gotten what I've ordered here. I believe it's a family business run by two brothers and even in the busiest times their very caring about getting your order out in time. They put their all into the food they give you here. Thank you for the chicken cutlet sandwich today. Some of my personal favorites from here would be the chicken cutlet, the turkey sandwich and the chicken sandwich on a hero. Next time I stop by I'll be sure to take some pictures! Keep up the good work guys!!!
We visited NYC for 5 days and wanted to try a halal deli, if one existed. Found this place through google maps and went for the popular cheesesteak and it was everything I had hoped for. The owner was extremely polite and welcoming. This deli is near the top of our list of food places we visited during our trip. Would absolutely recommend.
This deli was the best I have ever been to, I am from Chicago and Uncle Musa who seemed to be the owner was so nice. his food was even better Mashallah, we got the fried shrimp and fries, a chopped cheese, as well as a philly cheese and pastrami sandwich. I went with my family and we tried a little bit of everything, it was all so so good. the employees were also very friendly, my brother even got a chance to pray with them. I highly recommend stopping by here, these are the kind of people you want to give business to always. If i lived in NYC this would be my go to spot.
As a person who avoids fast food , this so far my top tier best go to spot to save bucks and eat a great sized portion meal then other places that do the same but different quality and less protein , they deserve top quality burger and cheesesteaks especially chicken over rice and more (from halal top quality meat to clean and right service ) as I’ve tried over the years as friends and family grab eats from over here , must say there burgers are my favorite and never miss after a good day at work or school . Great business and Ofcourse Great people never regretted a try , god bless!
Food 9/10 Price 10/10 Sheikh behind the counter: 11/10 I recently moved to Brooklyn from Toronto and have been trying every halal place I can find. I had been mostly disappointed until I tried this hidden gem of a deli! The prices are HALAL, not like the other halal stores trying to rip you off with 16$ dishes. The Philly Steak is so good. The hot dog had that snap. The whole chicken over rice is a flavourful, juicy and plenty. Owner is super chill. When I asked him if the rice would be enough for two, he said "no problem I give you extra rice for free". Who does that in BK? I highly recommend this store if you are in the neighborhood, especially for large groups! Shukran ya Sheikh!
One of the best places in the area. Food is affordable, delicious, and there’s always enough for leftovers. Staff is incredibly friendly!
Such friendly service. Great tasting food and very decent prices. Eat here
I come here to pick up lunch for three people at least once a week. This is a neighborhood gem and an anchor of the local community. The food is amazing the half chicken over rice is supreme and also the best value for your buck in terms of pricing. The owner is also a pleasure to meet everyday. He will always greet you with an infectious happy genuine smile that reminds one of the potential to love more positively.
Ordered Roast chicken meal and a Philly, the food was so good. No wonder this place has a great review, employees here are so welcoming too. On my way out I saw the soup pot, they even gave us a sampler bowl to try it. This place is like the hidden gems at neighbourhoods, they focus on food and service and that's it. No muss no fuss but great food at very reasonable price. May Allah give them baraqah.
The best deli in the city, no question. The mixed platter over rice was delicious, and the chicken was perfection. I also got the kofta, and the spices were very nice. Service was top notch and felt like I was at home. I absolutely recommend checking this place out. Moussa is the best!
Super friendly, called to order food, got three entrees and they were done in 10 minutes, fast service, the food itself was great and portion sizes were surprisingly large too. No complaints, if your in the area definitely grab something from here
Al Noor Halal Deli in Sunset Park is a true neighborhood gem. Their chicken over rice is packed with flavor, and the Philly cheesesteak is juicy and satisfying. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the staff make you feel right at home. Whether you're craving something quick or a filling meal, this spot delivers every time.
Alnoor Halal Deli never fails to offer a one of a kind dining experience. Their food is excellent, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. This is a place I frequent, sometimes multiple times a week. The food is really just that good! One of my favorite spots in the neighborhood.
The owner is very friendly. The food is great and the price is very generous compared to other places
I eat from here everyday! Best, freshest, and cheapest halal food you can find!
Huge portions and fresh food ! People were very sweet
Had the kebabs and the lentil soup. Excellent fresh food. Really nice owner. Prices are ridiculously low. Give a large tip.
Best falafel in NYC. Meat is fresh too. If they have it, get the rice pudding!! The guy behind the counter is the sweetest.
Al Noor is Amazing! I usually get the cheeseburgers but the fish is just something else… what ever you’re going to get just know, they’re going to make it like a homemade dish. And of course I’m going back for that fish today.
The food is amazing. Fresh and delicious. The brother always greets you with a smile and there is love in every bit. So worth it!!!
Alnoor deli is one of my go to spots. After a long day of work, I’m always greeted with a smile by both brothers. They are both very sweet and go above and beyond to offer exceptional service, food and hospitality. Magdi the cook is a master chef who consistently delivers quality food quickly. I always look forward to my meals with them
The food here is always hot and fresh and service is always quick and friendly. Excellent prices. Full meals. I doubt there's a better spot on 4th avenue for a quick bite
Absolutely love everything on their menu! Love that everything is Zabiha halal. We recent got the roasted half chicken and it's so so good! It's so very filling and comes with so much chicken and it's so juicy and flavor + it falls right off the bone! Def a bang for your buck. Would highly recommend!
Alnoor Halal Deli serves one of the best burgers I’ve had. The beef patty is juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The fresh, soft bun and crisp toppings—lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and their special halal sauce—create a great balance of flavors. It’s satisfying without being too greasy, and the quality really stands out. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a delicious halal burger at a great price!
This place is an absolute gem. My friend Omar told me about it a few weeks ago and I’ve been going for lunch non stop ever since. The owner is a kind, funny man that everybody loves. The food is fresh and flavorful. The falafel is one of the best I’ve ever had. The burger is what a whopper wishes it was. Honestly, everything here is a 10. Highly recommend.
My friends and I are visiting from Jamaica. We had the burger deluxe, fish sandwich hero and roast chicken on rice. All were very delicious! The owner is kind and heartwarming. Smelling our food being prepared in front of us as we chatted, was a tantalizing experience. 10/10, we're visiting again!
This place is a hidden treasure in the neighborhood for sure. When ordering the cashier and chefs greeted me and my family as if we were all family. We ordered two chicken sandwiches and one steak/philly cheesesteak sandwhich along with a small order of some pickles and peppers and an order of fries. The portions were plentiful and everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. It's not usually too packed and there's more than enough tables for some people to sit down and enjoy a meal. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by and I highly doubt that you will be dissapointed. I will definitely try to come again soon.
While in town we stayed at a nearby hotel within walking distance of Alnoor Halal Deli and decided to give it a try after reading other good reviews, it did not disappoint! We had the Kafka deluxe sandwich with fries, it was so good! So good in fact we returned each day while in NY for three days! We also had the Kafka over rice and falafel, all delicious! The owner was very courteous and made sure our food was perfect each time. Very personable feeling at Alnoor Halal, you could feel the community knew this spot and frequented it often. Everyone called the owner brother and everyone seemed to know this place. My custom dish, the Texas Special was Kafka over fries, loaded with white sauce and hot sauce is optional! Feel free to ask for it when you stop by! See you next time brother!
The food price and service is 5 star all the way! The prices are are best in Brooklyn and great portions. It not a real lavish and trendy place but it has great food at a great price. I eat there whenever I get chance and never had a bad meal. You can get half a chicken, rice, beans and a salad for $6.00. You are full and food is really good.
Al-Noor Halal Noor 4/5 $ No frills outfit, don’t expect silverware but the food, price and service is 5/5. We had pastrami sandwich and steak over rice and both were deliciously hearty. Pastrami sandwich was smokey and sweet, it was so good we ordered one to takeaway. The Egyptian owner is so warm and friendly (gave a homeless man a free meal). Thinking about going again...#halalfood #pastrami #nofrills
The food is OK. Unfortunately, the service is the opposite. I gave my order, and waited in one ofvrge tables. 20 minutes later, the guy was giving orders to people who came after me. Then, I realized the guy forgot mine completely. They didn't even apologize. Also, if I'm new to the place and ordering a while chicken w/ rice, why do they need if I have a family.
I don’t like to judge people so I usually do not review anyone. Or any business unless it’s really horrible A friend of mine told me about this place so I decide to try it. A soon as I walked in the kitchen absolutely not clean and the guy who is doing the cooking does not even care about clean but I order a sandwich I took my sandwich And I was so hungry so I open the sandwich and surprisingly I see some aluminum foil in my sandwich because the sandwich was cut with a bread knife After the sandwich was wrapped with the aluminum foil who does that. so I throw it on the garbage Where it should be. and out of the curiosity I wanted to know what people is saying about this place so I want to review Surprisingly I see some brothers sharing some pictures of sandwiches was wrapped with aluminum foil and was cut I wonder if the owner knows that you cannot cut the aluminum foil because it’s so harmful to human and that’s why they invented Wax paper For that purpose.
