I’ve been searching for the next latest and greatest pizza spot, and Giuseppina’s is it! The restaurant has a warm, cozy atmosphere with dim lighting that makes you feel instantly welcomed. Despite the intimate feel, the seating is spacious and thoughtfully arranged, comfortably accommodating both small parties and slightly larger groups with bench seating. You can also watch the chefs showcase their craftsmanship at the wood-fired oven centered in the back of the restaurant, which adds to the overall charm of the experience. The host/server was attentive and frequently checked in, which was greatly appreciated. We ordered the Giuseppina Special, which is $50 and an incredible deal—especially for the quality and quantity of food you receive. It included the “Everything” pizza with sweet or hot sausage, artichoke hearts, and a dessert calzone. I mean… what more could you ask for? The pizza was perfectly baked with a thin, crisp crust and topped with a thoughtful handful of the freshest ingredients, exactly as described. Honestly, the value across the menu felt just as impressive as the food itself. The dessert calzone was made fresh after we finished our pizza, and it was absolutely divine. Stuffed with a light and creamy ricotta, drizzled with Nutella, and finished with a pinch of sea salt and a dusting of confectioners’ sugar, the balance of sweet with just a hint of savory was the perfect way to end the meal. One thing to note: Giuseppina’s is a cash-only spot, but there is a convenient ATM available on-site. Highly recommend for both the food, value, and overall experience.

Delicious pizza and atmosphere. The best pizza I’ve ever had! I wish they weren’t cash only, but I will gladly go to an ATM for this place.

Hot damn this neighborhood gem is packed a couple days before Christmas for a reason! Minimalist menu, massive and delicious pies, cellar temp vino, cin cin.

Great date night spot in the area. Love the pizza sigh they use. Everything is always fresh and made to order. cute, dimly lit space with custom order brick oven pies and calzones. They have any topping you want and some house specialties like the Everything pizza

. Google Maps photos don’t do this place justice! The restaurant is incredibly cozy and romantic, with beautiful wood finishes and warm, dimmed lighting. Check out recent customer photos for a better idea—it’s truly stunning. For a moment, I felt like I was dining in a rustic lodge in Tuscany. The pizza was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. It’s also very family-friendly—we were there with our two boys under 6, and it was perfect. This has officially become our new go-to spot in the neighborhood!

Was empty as we had an early dinner but it filled up quickly during our time. Pizza was absolutely fantastic. Service was great and we loved the open kitchen concept. Highly recommend this for a family dinner or a romantic date.

The super dim location made it easy to see the cool fire column in the back oven. Fresh, delicious pizza - one $29 pie had 8 slices and can easily feed 3-4 people. They are cash only without a working ATM, but they did end up accepting Venmo. Service was sufficient.

After seeing this place from TikTok, we decided to check it out. We went on a Friday and waited around 20-30 mins to get seated. We ordered the pizza with fresh basil and it was by far the best pizza I have ever had! It came out super hot and fresh. The basil on top gave it a super fresh taste and me and my fiance ate almost all of it. The crust was perfect and the pizza was thin but still had that perfect bite to it. Highly recommend this spot and we will definitely be coming here again!

The pizzas here are definitely very good - you can taste the quality of the ingredients and the execution on the pizza itself. Undercarriage is perhaps a bit too weak at parts but overall holds up. Thought the Nutella calzone was disappointing but that could be personal taste. Cash only!

🍕 AMAZING FRESH FLAT STYLE PIZZA 🍕 Giuseppina’s is a non discreet corner pizza restaurant with really fresh pizza and ingredients. The price is higher than other places as it feels like a nicer, gourmet style experience. Super cozy inside good for a group of 2-4. We had the mushroom with crumbled sweet sausage and it was excellent. The pies are more flat style so best to keep toppings minimum. The interior is centered around their wood burning oven where they use fresh cut firewood. 🪵 Great place for a neighborhood date. Highly Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Maybe it is because it is August, or that they only serve pizza and calzones or that they only take cash, I can’t understand why there isn’t a line going around the block to get a table at this place. I don’t usually write two reviews for a place but my last visit solidified in my mind that this is the best pizza I have had in Brooklyn and in NYC for that matter. The thin Neapolitan crust that is cooked in their old style wooden burning oven is special, all the ingredients that are used are the freshest and the best. I would put this pizza up against anyone in Brooklyn or the five boroughs. Very non-pretentious, classic Brooklyn pizzeria. One other thing that I would like to add, to truly enjoy this kind of wood burning oven pizza, you must eat it there fresh out of the oven. To get it to go and put it in a box destroys the whole point of this style pizza. Not that I wouldn’t eat it cold and enjoy it but not nearly the best and proper way. The is an old style neighborhood gem. They make one thing here in an old brick oven and that’s pizza. Except for a very decent calzone it is all about the pie here. These are the kind of thin crust brick oven pies that lend themselves best by being eaten fresh, hot and at one of their cozy tables. To go is probably okay but something is going to get lost in the process. Crust is crispy, tasty with a nice burn to it. Ingredients and toppings were fresh and complemented the crust just fine. It is a little on the pricy side for pizza but they are doing something good here and hopefully keep on doing it for a long time.

Amazing pizza here, this spot is owned by the brother of Mark Iaccano of Lucali's, my favorite pizza in NYC. This place is almost as good as Lucali's but not quite there. It is much easier to get seating though so if you don't want to wait forever, it's a good option. They also sell a Nutella calzone for dessert and it's a must try.

Pictures don’t ever do justice but Giuseppina’s is our favorite pizza in BK. It’s traditional Italian pizza and the flavor is amazing and rich. We love that the menu isn’t overwhelming, and they’ve nailed the style pizza. The staff are wonderful and the owner is so kind and inviting. We would go once a week if we could.(Full disclosure- my partner and I are pizza snobs. We always try suggested spots and blogged about pizza joints. No thick sloppy, greasy, bland pizza for us. But you have to understand this type of pizza).

This place specializes in one thing and one thing only: pizza, and they do a pretty good job! We ordered the base pizza pie with red bell peppers, onion, mushrooms and baby arugula. The crust is thin, the tomato sauce has a rich flavor, the basil is fresh. In fact, pizzas are prepared in an open space right in front of the seating area where all ingredients are laid out ready to be used. The ambience is nice with music oldies playing in the back: Sinatra and Edith Piaf amongst others. Will definitely come back!

Great atmosphere the smells the sounds definitely see how it compares to Lucali. Candlelit a lot of charm would be great for a date , pizza itself was a great pie not as good as Lucali no basil on the standard pie that’s extra cost that’s kind of lame , maybe different cheese . But it is what it is definitely can’t go wrong . Calzone was really good too can’t go wrong . Solid cracker thin crust. Place got busy on a Sunday after opening , a lot of families with unruly kids it gets real loud I don’t know if that’s the norm I love kids but this is getting crazy out there , handle your kids parents! Service wasn’t bad a little more attention could be nice , waiter young not much personality. Would go back but so many pies to try maybe if you are in the neighborhood wanting a fix or need your kids to run around a bit 🤣

My group ordered the everything pizza and prosciutto pizza. The prosciutto pizza had good flavor, but the crust was a bit burnt all around. Meanwhile, the everything pizza was way too soggy. And also, it felt like the waiter was rushing us. The atmosphere was cozy, but it’s not the “gotta come back here again” that I was hoping for

Gotta go in person to try because delivery was not good quality for the price we paid. I’ve gotten pizza deliveries from farther away, cheaper, and better. The white pie was good, the regular margherita not so much. Will give them another chance in person and will update review!

Deceiving as hell, pie is very thin and the toppings are way short to the end But the taste of the sauce, cheese and crust together are phenomenal, makes you race into a new slice upon finishing each slice. I ate the whole thing.

This pizza place is Overpriced. There are many better pizza place in Brooklyn which are cheaper. They charged $6 for basil leaf topping. When we got the pizza, we found that they just put the basil leaf in the corner of the box. Toppings should be on top of the pizza and not on the side. And if they served it like that to keep the leaf fresh then they should serve fresh leaves. For $6 we could buy fresh and clean a family size container. Take a look at the pictures of basil leaf. It’s sad how they change so much already for the pizza itself then charge additional for old and stale basil leaf. Least they could’ve wash them and put it in a small plastic container. Never going back to this place again.
