Baked in Brooklyn Brooklyn Reviews
Hard working crew making great food. Support the local legends.
Aaaah! That is what I am talking about! Oh, the aroma of fresh baked bread, delicious sandwiches, salads, pastries, tea and coffee. Man! I would live right across the street except that there’s a cemetery right across the street!! I think my favorite thing was sitting outside the shop in the glorious autumn sun and watching people go by while sipping my coffee.
Great breads, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, etc. The staff is always so nice and helpful. A great neighborhood staple and worth the schlep if you’re not right near here.
This bakery makes the neighborhood smell incredible. Price point for baked goods is phenomenal, the only place I want to buy bread from period
Came here every day while I was in the area on vacation. Free pasty with purchase of a latte! The lattes were good, the pastries were great, and I also had a sausage egg and cheese bagel which was delicious. Can't beat the price and quality!
My favorite bakery in Brooklyn! Fabulous and fresh baked goods. Breads, pastries, bagels, cakes, donuts and more. Also have fresh sandwiches that are worth going out of your way for.
Watch how they do all the nicely baked items and grab a coffee with a good deal! The bread is pretty good and affordable. Staff is heavenly kind!
driving by i got hit with this heavenly smelling aroma, it was coming from Baked in Brooklyn. Fresh baked breads and desserts oh wow! They have a small menu for some sandwiches and even a daily special which happened to be a roast beef burger - it was layered and all the ingredients were fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this gem, plus prices are affordable and staff was very nice.
You can smell the bread from across the street, love the cranberry walnut bread. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a rich walnut aroma. Affordable prices, wide variety, enthusiastic waiters, you can see the baker making bread through the glass window, very interesting. Please don't miss this bakery!
Very nice spot tucked away on a quiet side of Brooklyn. Looks like just a baking warehouse but has a full deli/bakery inside. Good lattes as well and fresh pastries baked on site. Have a good variety of cakes, cupcakes, donuts, and other pastries. Offer breakfast and lunch sandwiches as well. Workers are all nice and hospitable as well.
I went for a walk while in the neighborhood and while I was taking stroll I saw this place! Now, I am quite familiar with their products. I have lived all across the US and have purchased their goods in Whole Foods and various markets. I am one of those hardcore Brooklyn raised people who notice all things Brooklyn - especially when I am far from home. So I was quite pleased to stumble across their location while out for a random walk. Their self serve coffee is very good it was not labeled but was a robust flavored medium roast. I think it is the best self serve coffee I have purchased. They also grind it right there. You can watch the bakers work through glass as you get your coffee. The staff is friendly and engaging. They make cakes, small pastries, cupcakes and the yummy pita bread, pita chips (my favorite with tuna) and of course loaves of bread!!! I will return for the sandwiches so can’t honestly comment on those.
I’ve had some of this establishment sesame breadsticks whilst stationed in New Mexico. But never did I know there was an actual store in the heart of Sunset park. Finally got to visit their brick and mortar store and was pleasantly impressed. Most items are made in the building and sold fresh. Seems like a popular spot for the locals as it was packed. And very busy at noon! Might stop by again before leaving town to get a simpler rundown/version.
Tons of different types of bread, pastries, cakes, cupcakes, and a whole food menu. Breakfast burrito was 3/5; would like some more flavor, maybe more chipotle sauce? Cherry danish was an odd combination of cherries and cinnamon, 3/5. Quite busy on a Saturday morning, but service was efficient.
I got the Italian sandwich on sliced multigrain bread instead of hero bread. Very good, fresh, and the staff were very accommodating with the substitution. Donuts were good but the Oreo donut was a little on the dry side. Clean place. Organizes. Friendly and efficient staff. I will be back whenever I’m in the area.
We came in at about 4.30 pm Monday and they did not have anything from the menu on their wall, no sandwiches. They pointed to the fridge but that stuff did not look too attractive. So we ended buying coffee and pastries which were ok. So definitely not a reliable lunch spot but ok as a bakery.
Whenever I get the chance to stop by, I always get the strawberry thumbprint cookies. They’re super soft, buttery and addictive. And along with some fresh ciabatta bread. We’ve ordered chocolate cake and Oreo cake before. I’d personally get the Oreo cake again. It’s the right amount of everything. The texture, the moistness, sweetness. Staff is pretty chill and friendly. The line setup can be a bit confusing.
Is nice bakery the Bread is good Quality, but the staff are a bit slow, especially when is not much people inside. This is Update ( after 5 Months From the First review) Staff Really slow to attend customer , also they distracted, not focused on customers , special in the morning
