Banhmi-Pro Brooklyn Reviews
Great Vietnamese restaurant with quick counter service. Clean interior with a few tables and window seating. We had the traditional bahnmi this visit. It was delicious. It's bigger compared to other banhmis in the neighborhood and was packed, it was a little challenging to get bites with everything. We particularly enjoyed the pate, it's a coarser Vietnamese style pate. There's organ meat flavor with a twinge of funk that's rarer to find here because some people may think it tastes spoiled but we loved it. We went back and had the short rib bahnmi for take out, which was also very tasty. Visited mid-day and had quick service, we were in and out in less than 5 minutes. The short rib was tender, flavorful, and plentiful.
The BEST banh-mi in Brooklyn!! We go here all the time - delicious 10/10
So glad to have a Viet restaurant in the neighborhood. There’s no server, so no pressure to tip. The owner is super friendly. We ordered honeydew smoothie with boba, and taro bubble tea (they were able to remove the sugar for me, which many places won’t do). We had short rib banh mi. The meat is very soft. Great portions and quite affordable! The grilled pork banh mi looks very good. I will definitely try the next time.
10/10 Bahn mi! I got the grilled chicken which had great flavor and the bread was nice and toasty/crispy. It wasn’t too spicy and the pickled vegetables on it were perfect. Very friendly staff I went on the opening day. Can’t wait to go back and try the viet iced coffee.
One of the best banh mi sandwiches that I’ve had. The bread was delicious and thick, not a skinny stale piece that some other places offer and it was packed full. Sometimes you get a banh mi and there’s hardly anything in it, not this one!
Have only tried the traditional banh mi, but it’s really good and big! You get a lot of filling in it. Would def come back again!
Stopped by for a banh mi + Thai tea and this place did not disappoint! Pleasant, airy little place with a few tables and a counter to sit at; I had the beef short rib banh mi and the meat was incredibly tender and flavorful. I wasn't expecting the mayonnaise in it but I'm not opposed? And the Thai tea really hit the spot on a toasty summer day like this. If you haven't left home yet, I'd recommend doubling back and grabbing some cash! You'll get better discounts/pricing that way as there is a credit card transaction fee.
I stopped in quickly after I saw their 15% soft launch promo! I got the beef short rib banhmi, the spring rolls, and a classic milk tea with boba. I love banhmi and this was the best I’ve ever had. The short rib was juicy and tender, the carrots and veggies were all incredibly fresh, and the boba tea tapioca was excellent and clearly recently made. I’ll be back!

Great bahn-mi! Fresh flavors and crunchy bread. Will definitely be stopping by again!
Uber Eats was showing a different deal than what was meant to be displayed, but when I presented the evidence they did not argue or give me an run-around about the issue. Instead they asked me to wait five minutes while they made the additional items. This is the kind of service that I wish all establishments would offer. This, and a good product will always inspire a customer to return.
If you're here for a very good sandwich I cannot recommend this place ENOUGH! They just opened and I wish to see a lot more people in the store for the quality and quantity of food you get for the price. I just had their grilled pork Banhmi sandwich and wow was I blown away by how good it was. I have yet to pick an item off the menu that was underwhelming. If you're ever passing by or doing errands, please take the time to stop by this store. I promise it will be worth your money!
i always get the grilled chicken banh mi (have done both take out and delivery) and this may just be the best one on this side of brooklyn. there’s something about the bread that’s so good and the way they grill their chicken that other places just doesn’t compare, and all of this is coming from a viet person which should mean something :)

The pho and sandwich here were absolutely amazing! The broth was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, with fresh herbs and tender meat that made every bite comforting and satisfying. The sandwich was just as impressive, crispy bread with a soft center, packed with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Everything tasted authentic and made with care. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to again and again!
I ordered the grilled pork bánhmì with medium spice. It was so yummy. The grilled pork was perfect, along with the sauce and the fresh cilantro and cucumber added freshness as well as the vinegar tang of the shredded carrots to balance it out. This was my first time here and I will definitely return. The spice level for medium seemed more mild for my taste so next time I will try the spicy level!
Best short rib bah mi I've ever had. Highly recommend!! The meat is so juicy and flavorful and has a nice texture. I enjoy the shrimp spring roll too but I did not enjoy the pho as much. The pho had very little broth, noodles are little too hard and the size is a bit smaller compared to others. They did an awesome job for soft opening overall. Would recommend the bahmi if you can't decide!!

Very good Traditional Banh Mi made with the right kind of bread and good ingredients. We also liked the Grilled Pork Rice Box.
Very decent sandwich shop. Friendly staff. The mild shredded bahn mi has just a little kick to it (which I thought was perfect). Fresh carrots gave a nice crunch. Really good iced black tea (unsweetened for me). I will go back!

We ordered traditional bahn mi and grilled poor bahn me, it was delicious and well balanced. Suggest for coriander cut up the stems, it's really hard to eat and the whole stem pulls out along with the filling. For traditional, a bit more pate and either thicker or more Vietnamese sausage, there was a very thin slice and it was barely there. Service is very good, the place is kept clean, and the bahn mi was prepared quickly and fresh, would recommend!
Ive ordered Shrimp Fresh Roll and Beef Pho. I like the roll but the Pho soup, Im not sure if there is something odd in taste with the soup or the meat or just because Im having pregnancy hormones coz I didnt finish it. But I will still go back and try it once more. Good for the winter weather.
Pretty mediocre Banh mi, not terrible but not as good as anything I've had. The bread was a little too tough and crusty. They used silken tofu which really doesn't work at all because it is so thin, it sort off squished out of the sandwich when I would take a bite. The carrots were also soggy and not very fresh. I was hoping for a huge sprig of cilantro and only got a little bit and half of it was stem. It was edible but I don't think I'll be going back there again, which is a shame because I work in the area and am always looking for affordably priced meal options.

The outside of my tofu tasted like Fabuloso cleaner. Other reviews have commented on this as well with bread and other items. Hot spring rolls were good so it’s an issue with the surfaces they are assembling food on.

The Beef Pho was my least favorite and disappointing because we were craving some good pho. The meat was very tough and the tendon was so hard and crunchy that it made it difficult to eat. We had to take the meat out of the pho to finish the broth. The bahn mi and rolls were good.
Thermostat set to 80 degrees for some reason on a hot day. Pho bowl, not only was it the smallest I’ve seen it’s also only half full. The amount of noodles compares to the amount that you you would get from a cup of cup noodles. Pretty generic shop in general. The pho doesn’t feel special by any means. Their name is Bahn mi so I probably should have gotten a sandwich instead. Their rewards program is pretty amusing. 1 point per dollar spent, 500 points for a 4 dollar coupon. The pho was 16.50 I believe. Shrimp rolls were decent size at their price of about 8.50

Cashier multiple times asked for a tip and demanded to know how much I tipped. On top of this, my order (a rice box) took 20 minutes to make and was of moderate quality. I will genuinely never come back here.
I have heard good things about Pho and was eager to try it tonight- September 24th. The transaction was uneventful, but after I got home and sat down to eat, I noticed that some of the beef were really tough to chew. I was left disappointed and not sure what to make of the entire experience.
