Brooklyn Safehouse Brooklyn Reviews
Fantastic beer and shot specials. Wonderful music, vibe, service. They have an ATM, pool table, and lots of seating at the bar. Lots of drink options and worth checking out. Prices are reasonable and the experience is priceless.
Comfortable spot. Great prices. We stopped by before and after a near by masquerade wedding we were attending. Cool calm crew at 4pm and fun hopping crowd at midnight. Great place to take a small group and hang out in one of there booths. Happy hour and evening prices are great. You won't go broke buying rounds here.
Always a good time! One of the least expensive in Greenpoint. Free pool all the time!
Low key, dimly light neighborhood bar perfect for getting some drinks with friends. Pool table.
Truly as the name suggests. Bartenders are locals and actually care. Shoot some pool, eat a taco, play trivial pursuit.

Great dive bar with pool table in Greenpoint. There's lots of space to hang out in. The beer selection is pretty good. You got some beer/shot specials too. Every bartender I have met is cool and chill. I love this place. Give it a try.
LOVE this place. Super simple no fuss bar with booths. The beers are cheap as hell, even cheaper at happy hour, and whilst not a wide selection, there's always some decent stuff on draft. Food is amazing - great Mexican food always freshly cooked.
Love this place. Proper neighborhood dive with free pool and great locals. Decor is dark and Gothic. Just the way I like em. Also saw queen Latifah out front.
This is probably the best bar in New York, and a i’ve been to far too many bars. Friendly bartender, cheap drinks, free pool table, B side movies, board games. The best part is there are dogs everywhere: on bar stools, at the front door, on benches, on tables, hanging from the ceiling, you name it. they all receive a milkbone with entry. They no longer have the taco stand but they do serve a sleeve of Ritz crackers with a can of Eazy Cheeze, and you are more than welcome to bring outside food. With no dearth of dining options in the area, I opted for a sandwich from the nearby green market, but Paulie Gs and Comptons are also less than a block away. On a Saturday afternoon, almost every demographic of person could be spotted here and each was welcomed and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Lively and a little bit loud but I was still able to read a book at the bar. Can’t say enough good things about this place.
I was looking for a new gluten free place to try, I really enjoyed the food and the chef is very accommodating to those who have gluten free allergies. It is a smaller kitchen so food can take some time but it's a hangout spot so to me that's totally fine. If you are in a hurry, I'd suggest asking how long they think it'll take if there a bunch of people in the bar since it's hard to tell how many people are waiting for food.
Daniel Kim, what world do you live in where your drinks should cost less than $7.50 a piece after tip and tax? Here in NYC we call that a good deal, and we call people like you “not missed”. Stay home, we’ll all be happier. This place is great, and so are the people that run it. If you want things to be cheap, visit a less expensive town. No one in this situation can control the cost of rent.
The door was literally wide open on a January Tuesday. No doubt for ventillation, but an apt symbol: come one come call at this dark and artsy saloon. $4 drafts (where else?) plus hefty, tasty tacos turned out by small kitchen in the back. Overall, an excellent casual drinking place.
I love the food here. The booze is cheap. The music is on point. The vibe impeccable. But the food. Wow. Best tacos in NYC for sure. And I’ve eaten a lot along the way. A must for anybody in town.
Cant possibly say anything negative about this place.Bartenders are aces. Always friendly and inviting. Kitchen offers awesome Mexican based food with a twist. The Brooklyn Safehouse is an absolute gem. Dont pass it by!
Great place to go if you want to drink beer or spirits in a relaxed spot with good people. This is a classic bar with free pool, board games, and delicious hand crafted tacos.
Austin is the best bartender ever, will be back because of him!

Happy hour until 8pm M-F, $5 draft beer and some other drink specials. Cool vintage looking dive. Bartender leaves you alone. Free pool table (but only one). We didn’t have food, but there’s a window inside you order from.
This is a fun local bar, with a good comfortable vibe, even if it is a little edgy. Don’t be fooled by the “speakeasy” moniker that is referenced in the search engine ... this is not PDT. Although the bartender tried a good attempt at a Manhattan, he then remembered they were out of Vermouth ... oops. Still, once you get over the fact that craft cocktails will not be in your immediate future, the place is enjoyable, fun people watching, and its a comfortable place to hang out in Brooklyn. Don’t plan on playing pool, either. The locals definitely have that table locked up for the night.

The bartenders are rude, the place is dirty, they don't know how to make much beyond a simple mixed drink, and the only redeeming quality is cheap beer. They have pool and board games, but most of the pieces are missing... I recommend a pass on this one.

Bartender could use an attitude adjustment. And some basic social skills.
