Extremely helpful staff and delicious desserts, you can’t go wrong at by Clio. We went with her bakery for my partners birthday cake and there were so many tasty options. We went with the lime curd and it was delicious. The flower design is breathtaking! Would definitely come here again for cakes and other treats. The front of the bakery also has a large seating area if you want to come by and enjoy a dessert in house. My favorite treat is the passion fruit Thai tea cake.

I got the 10-inch Mocha Cake for my 30th birthday party, and everyone loved it! My friends kept asking where the cake was from and that they’d want it for their own birthdays. The cake was exceptionally moist, with great flavor. The rich sweetness of the chocolate cake was balanced well by the lighter espresso cream. It felt indulgent without being heavy or “too much.” I was worried the espresso cream topping wouldn’t hold up at room temperature, but fortunately my birthday venue was able to refrigerate the cake. We cut each half of the cake into 10 pieces, feeding 17 guests with ~20% of the cake leftover. Each slice was the perfect portion for a party, enough to enjoy the cake while still finishing the entire slice. I highly recommend ByClio for your birthday cake!

Clio anticipated potential user experience issues with our cake design and had an open and pleasant discussion with us about how to mitigate it. The cake we got was absolutely beautiful and the flavor was so good - light, airy, milky, not overly sweet. Our guests all raved about the cake and left empty plates at the end. 100% recommend

Clio’s cakes have been a staple in my household for the past 5+ years. She’s able to make her cakes gluten free and they’re so delicious, you’d have no idea that they were gluten free! Not only do they taste fantastic but they’re ways so beautiful, truly a delicious piece of art!

I ordered the Strawberry Milk cake for pick up. I set up a pick up time for two days later. I showed up, got my cake, easy peasy lemon squeezy. Thanks for the seamless experience! The cake itself was BEAUTIFUL, I was so pleased with the arrangement. And unlike other aesthetic cakes I've had in the city, it was also delicious!!! I had a slice after a really big dinner but the cake was moist and easy to gobble up. The strawberry filling was perfect and not too sweet (never had sumac before but it provided the perfect little tart contrast) and the icing was sooo lovely!

TLDR: the best cake we’ve ever had. Incredible flavor and not too sweet. We are now obsessed and planning our next orders!! For our civil ceremony, we ordered the Halloween cookie cake, which had an M&M cookie base, chocolate fudge, dulce de leche filling, brown sugar sponge, and cream top frosting. We knew it would be good, but it surpassed all of our expectations!! The portions were PERFECT! We got the 10” which was perfect for our little wedding party of 25 people with some left over. The florals and the swirl design were sooo GORGEOUS and elegant. And the most important part: IT WAS SO GOOD — great texture with the cookie, the lightest fluffiest sponge, and a cream frosting that wasn’t too sweet. They were also able to fulfill our request for the frosting to be white, so that we could add our own “just married” cake topper!! We had multiple people say this is the best cake they’ve had and where they could get their own personal cake. This was our first time ordering from ByClio and we’re absolutely stunned. My husband and I tried to order it again to enjoy with just the two of us, but sadly it’s just an October special. We’ll be trying out other flavors instead!!

The shop is a quiet, sunny place to spend an afternoon and the whole cake orders have never disappointed! I ordered a custom cake for a birthday party (almond cake, raspberry filling, whipped cream topping) and it was DELICIOUS! And also so stunning. The cake was a huge hit! I was expecting to have a ton of leftovers and I think we only had a slice or two left (sadly!). I had it delivered and they were on time and the cake was in perfect condition. Highly recommend :)

Gluten free baked goods can be hit or miss but the birthday cake ByClio made for my brother was 100% a hit. The strawberry labneh flavor was delicious. I’d for sure order from here again, gluten free or not.

Cake was as beautiful as it was delicious. I love that the cream top is not too sweet. The 6 inch cake served 8 (small slices) and still had about a quarter leftover. Enough for seconds! Also survived a 3 hour drive upstate without incident. Will definitely be ordering from here again as they have so many options :)

My cake was stunningly gorgeous. I never imagined my birthday theme could be so perfectly captured in a cake design, but ByClio exceeded my expectations. It was perfect! For the cake itself, I got the Indian Summer flavor. It was a little dry and helped me discover that I don't enjoy fruit IN cake, so I would love to try another flavor in the future.

My wife and I liked the Thai tea passionfruit cake. The Earl grey cream was delicious but I will say the passionfruit is too strong and overpowers all the other flavors (I had to separate out most of it to taste the rest of the cake) and the cake itself was a bit dry. Otherwise this is a very interesting flavor, just wish the flavors were more balanced

I ordered a cake for a 21st birthday and unfortunately did not receive what I was expecting. The service was great, I cannot complain there, and I was aware they would add their own style, however, I did not think it would have flowers on it for a male 21st birthday cake when the picture I sent for inspiration looked nothing like it. In addition to this the filling was not very nice and overall my family and I were quite disappointed. Coming from Australia to celebrate a birthday, we put a lot of faith into this cake and it did not deliver. I do believe if I were to go into the bakery, I would have a much nicer experience but wouldn’t order a custom cake again. This is what I sent for inspo and this is what we received (after we pulled the flowers off - unfortunately I didn’t get a photo of it before, I was in a big rush to pull them off before he saw).

I ordered a cake for $161 total for Valentine’s day . It’s supposed to be a strawberry milk cake with extra flowers. The sample picture looks very Valentine theme and I just want to add a bit more flower to an already beautiful cake. Instead I got a plain white cake with purple daisies and chrysanthemum (they didn’t even include the strawberry)and the worst is IT SMELLS STRONGLY OF WEED AND CIGARETTES. It’s an open-box delivery because they need to keep the cake box open to protect the flowers , so I couldn’t imagine how gross the cake is sitting in an unsanitary condition . You would think to do an open box food delivery they would at least care about the sanitary condition . When I call them : 1. about the flower and lack of strawberries , their response was you didn’t say what color you want ( who would thought with a sample picture like that + valentine’s day , i would get … well just a white cake with some purple flowers and not even a bit of strawberry to justify the theme ) 2. the smell : they work with a third party and it’s not their fault . ( ummm? You’re a business and it’s your responsibility to check what kind of delivery service you work with ) . Anyway , basically nothing is their fault . the flower and cake decor is my fault and the smell is delivery person’s fault. So in conclusion i got a 161 dollar cake on Valentine’s day that’s too gross to eat. I would have to get a late min cake from another place .
