Diwali Indian Cuisine Brooklyn Reviews
I been coming here since day one, the food here is phenomenal. Customer service top tier. I wish I could grant them a 6 star.
Incredible food, very good and helpful service, delicious and good sized portions! Priced very well too.
I rarely leave reviews, but I struggled to think of something that wouldn’t justify 5 stars. The food was well salted and flavorful. Ordered chicken biryani, aloo papri, paneer tikka masala, chicken korma, seekh kebab and garlic naan. About the only thing I could say is I wish the kebab was more moist and salty, but I’ve had Michelin star meals that didn’t taste as good as this so don’t let that stop you. A dip into the chutney and that problem was solved. At the very least, try this place once and form your own opinion.
I visited this restaurant on Tuesday February 10th. I ordered garlic naan and chicken tikka masala . The taste was good. Service was fast. The place was clean. Overall, I’d rate it 5. They deserve it.
Food taste really good and Flavorful. I was very impressed by the service. Price was very reasonable. I’m definitely coming back again.
We just had a delicious lunch here of Saag paneer, chicken tikka misala, samosas and garlic naan! Absolutely YUM! The staff were so attentive and the generous :)
Seriously the best Saag Paneer I've had, ever. So flavorful! My husband had some extra spicy Lamb Vindaloo and he was in spice heaven. Service was friendly and we couldn't figure out why there was no one else here on a Saturday night! Hidden gem that is well worth the very reasonable prices. Will be coming back!
I recently visited this Indian restaurant, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with beautiful decor. Menu We Ordered: • Chicken Biriyani • Matter Paneer • Cauliflower Manchurian • Butter Chicken • Goat Curry • Kadai Chicken • Garlic Naan • Mango Lassi The food was incredibly delicious and full of authentic flavors. The service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful in recommending dishes. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Indian food.
If you visit Diwali, make sure to get the Chicken Chettinad—the South Indian spices and coconut base are spot on. We also loved the Lamb Rogan Josh and the Aloo Papri chaat. The Regular Naan was light, fluffy, and perfect for soaking up the delicious sauces. Highly recommend!
We ordered paneer tikka masala, garlic naan and malai kofta. Everything was delicious! The person who took our order was really kind, and the food was ready really fast! 🩷
I had an amazing dining experience here! I ordered aloo papri, onion bhujia, saag paneer, lamb vindaloo, and lamb biryani — everything was incredibly tasty and full of flavor. This was my first time ordering from them, and I dined in as well. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and absolutely delicious. I will definitely be ordering again and highly recommend this place to anyone who loves good Indian food!
I was the only diner at the time I went hense the 4 star for atmosphere. Though the food was terrific, hope to be back there again soon.
Amazing food! Best Indian food in bedstuy! If you’re looking for some desi food stop by or order it’s amazing!!! Been a regular for the last two months!
recently visited this Indian restaurant, and I really enjoyed the food. The flavors were rich and felt very close to traditional Indian cooking. I ordered the butter chicken and garlic naan, and both were delicious. The spices were perfect, not too strong, but full of taste. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. The place was clean and had a nice, comfortable atmosphere. I would definitely go back again and recommend it to anyone who loves Indian food or wants to try it for the first time.
picked up bangain bharta and lamb rogan josh, very flavorful, well prepared and balanced. Friendly service and we even got rice pudding as a courtesy. Will def order again and eat in!
We absolutely loved the food here! We tried the Aloo Papdi Chaat, Butter Chicken, Matar Paneer, Garlic Naan, and Rice — everything was delicious. They even served complimentary Papadum and Rice Pudding, which was such a nice touch. They The servers were polite, respectful, and very attentive. Overall, a perfect 10/10 experience!
This is one of my favorite Indian food places in Bed Stuy. Everything I have tried has been delightful, with a special shoutout to the eggplant chaat and any of their okra dishes. They really take care of you and will let you chat there with no pressure to head out
Everything from the decor which is gorgeous and well cleaned including the bathroom… To the service, which is super professional and friendly down to the portions… Everything is wonderful and they give you great size portions. The staff is Friendly and they help you with dietary restrictions if you have any. I would give it a six out of five if I could
The 4.8 rating is in fact true. Food was very good. It is one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve had food during my trip to NJ. The person who works there was very welcoming and made us feel like we’re back home in India. His name was amarprathan. Highly recommended.
Food was very good. We ordered the shrimp curry, chicken chettinand, and the Goat Biryani and it is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve went to. I have grown up eating a lot of different types of south Asian food and this place amazed from the multitude of spices to the presentation. Highly recommend getting them from UberEats as well because their portions are big despite ordering online.
What a delightful visit! We immediately felt welcome. The staff was kind and attentive, the music was great, and the food was outstanding. 🙌🏽 The lamb chop with spiced potatoes and peppers was cooked to perfection. The curry shrimp and paratha was, how can I say…...comforting! A treat on a cold evening. Will absolutely come again.
My partner and I ordered paneer tikki masala and a special menu item: haryali chicken. It was super delish. The chicken was an envoy of bright flavors: tandoor char, herbacious warmth, and a little acidity to balance the chicken breast cutlets. Perfectly balanced. This paired well with the tangy sweet paneer and simple white rice. They also have a variety of Lassi worth exploring. I had rose while my partner tried the salted lassi.
I recently went to this restaurant this past weekend for my Birthday, and I enjoyed it. The service was great, and the staff was very friendly and professional. The atmosphere was fun and lively. The food was delicious and affordable. It certainly made my Birthday weekend worth celebrating 🍾 going out to this really nice restaurant. I can't wait to go again.
Stumbled into Diwali on Fulton Street, a place where the city’s clamor fades, replaced by the hum of spices and quiet conversations. Ordered the Tandoori Chicken—marinated in yogurt and spices, each bite a testament to the art of patience and flavor. The Lamb Rogan Josh followed, tender lamb bathed in a cardamom sauce that spoke of distant places and unhurried times. The naan, warm and soft, perfect for mopping up every last drop. Service was attentive without intrusion, the staff moving with a grace that comes from knowing their craft well. Diwali isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a reminder that amidst the city’s chaos, there are still places where time slows, and one can savor the simple act of eating. Four stars because nothing’s perfect, but this comes close
Tasty food but unfortunately the samosas got me sick here. My wife and I ate the same food all day, but I had 3 samosas and she had none. I felt very nauseous and almost threw up, and continued to feel nauseous for the next two days.
