Tip-Top Brooklyn Reviews
The grilled cheese and lychee martini is so good that I’ve been back once a week since my first try. I can vouch that this is the best lychee martini I have ever had. I’m looking forward to spending spring and summer here. It’s beautiful inside, the staff is so sweet, and me and my friends really enjoy the vibe here. Currently thinking about the grilled cheese as I type. 😍
I went to the The Franklin for a private event. The grill cheese was errrrrythang! The drinks were spot on! The ambiance, the vibe is so satisfying. Met one of the owners so cool, and friendly. Black folks/All folks patronize these brothers, you would appreciate it.
Great quality of beverages and eats. Intimate setting with amazing conversation and customer service. Actually enjoyed the space.
The Franklin pulled off an amazing culinary experience that I would like to make happen again and again. The place looks amazing, it’s intimate and decorated just perfectly. The restaurant used to be an old bodega and they used reclaimed wood from its previous space to create these beautiful square and rectangular wood frame art pieces on the wall. The marble bar and table tops made me feel like I was somewhere else and not 15 minutes away from my house! The service was top tier and the foodddd (!) listennnn I’m still talking about that crispy skin chicken and those smashed potatoes two days later! Brooklyn deserves this neighborhood gem. Go here!
The Franklin Wine Bar, exceeds all expectations for previous wine bars I have been to before! The Franklin has an excellent mix of great food and delicious wines to sample. My favorite wine of the night was the Gargante which was a natural white wine free of sulfites. It was sampled with the charcuterie board. Each of the bartenders was very educated on the wine selection which helped elevate the experience
had the best time here. been wanting to visit since I heard it opened, so we made sure to stop by while in the area. shared many delicious bottles of wine, and had two mixed plates of charcuterie. vibes here were top notch and the cover of sugar ray was worth the double play. would’ve stayed forever if I could have!

Becca and Daniel are the best and most hospitable bartenders at this excellent neighborhood bar. I want to this to be my summer hang so id love more cocktail options! Love what i had but ready for more 💗❣️♥️🙏🏽
Have been here twice now – has a great vibe that is relaxed yet lively. Great range of wines on tap and small but delicious food menu. The bread pudding is my current favorite. Attentive staff and bartenders. Will definitely be back soon!
Absolutely delighted with my experience at The Franklin! From the moment I walked in, the cozy and inviting ambiance set the perfect tone. The selection of wines was truly impressive, and the knowledgeable staff guided me towards the most exquisite choices. The attention to detail, impeccable service, and a relaxing atmosphere made it an unforgettable evening. This wine bar is a true gem for any wine enthusiast or anyone looking to indulge in a cool but sophisticated outing. The chicken confit was a culinary masterpiece - tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Paired with the fingerling potatoes that were crispy on the outside and irresistibly creamy on the inside, this dish elevated my dining experience. The wine bar's commitment to excellence is evident in every aspect, from their carefully curated wine list to their delectable food offerings. A visit here promises an amazing and flavorful experience.
I can't say enough about this place. We stopped in on a Friday night, and they were more than accommodating. I never got the name of the man behind the bar, but all his wine suggestions were on point. The four of us ordered most of the menu, and the highlight for me was the chicken, but everything was fantastic. We cleaned the plates and ordered more. Good music, good vibes and wonderful service. Can't wait to come back.
I came all the way from Australia and I’m so glad we made it, Quiet and quick drink before we flew out, but on our return, we will be back. Music was great, Cordell(?) was wonderful to talk to and this space has been so beautifully curated, what an honour to visit
this place is criminally underrated! amazing food and drinks - best dirty martini and tuna melt that i’ve quite literally ever had
Great local bar. Good small Bites and wine selection, they rotate the drink menu so don’t expect the same all year round. Allows you to explore new items. Bartenders are warm and friendly.
We've been going to the Franklin regularly for a long time and always have a great experience. Last weekend we hosted a private event there and they did a fantastic job - our bartenders Becca and Daniel were in particular phenomenal, just so friendly and so wonderful. DJ Castro came to do the music and he also was incredible. The drinks were good, the food was good, the vibes were good - couldn't recommend them more!
As a young man, I visited this place often. As I continue to age, it has only gotten better. I have heard talk of a chess club on Thursday evenings that only makes Franklin Park more exciting. Highly recommended for a good time in a chill atmosphere with other young fellows. Love it and you. - Dylan Sethi

Recently had a birthday party here - staff was super helpful and accommodating. Exceptional wines by the glass and lovely curated selection of cocktails. Grilled cheese and The Franklin Melt are delicious, as are the potatoes. Relaxed yet vibrant and lively atmosphere. Will most definitely be back!

I went on a Saturday. It is really great that they have happy hr everyday, although I won’t say the prices were happy hour prices ($10 wine, $4 off cocktails that are $14-17 originally), but I love to support a black owned business. Unfortunately they do not have many food options, but they have many good cocktail options. The place is small and intimate, and all the ppl who go there seemed friendly, mostly black, and fun. I would definitely go back. The only thing I didn’t like was that you order on a QR code and your food/ drinks are brought to you, rather than having a waitress. It is small in there so I guess I get it, but for the price… Also none of the bartenders were black, and one had really bad BO and it was noticeable. So I will deduct a star there but it could have been a one off.
Really nice bartenders, solid wine, but smelled like vomit inside? Will change review if I go again and it doesn’t smell like that

the atmosphere and service at this bar are excellent but i think their wines on tap have an herbaceous taste that can only be attributed to unclean kegs or spigots. all theirs drinks on top share the same gross after taste. other than that the bottled drinks were great and the service and atmosphere were amazing. i highly recommend yall check your kegs!!

The drinks were great but my wife’s grilled cheese tasted like fabulouso. Major red flag.
I been here before and was great but today 1/8/26 they are closed and did not even bother to update their site. An inconvenience for anyone traveling to get there to find out it’s closed when they have their hours up saying they are open
Was an okay experience, except happy hour wasn’t as advertised and they charged me for a drink they forgot to bring out. Would have left this alone until the person answering their emails responded to me rudely after I accidentally sent a scheduled follow up on my refund request. But now, I have to give a one star review for poor customer service!
