Little Choc Apothecary Brooklyn Reviews
Cantina 138 is a vibe! Just what we need in the neighborhood. We came here for an early dinner and ordered the guacamole, shrimp enchiladas, and steak fajitas. It was delicious! I finished my whole plate. The atmosphere is fun and lively. We met the owner and he was very welcoming and kind! Happy hour is from 5-8 with great options. Highly recommend adding this to your list of Williamsburg eats.
The food was delicious 😋...but they don't have flour tortillas for the tacos and they don't have horchata plus everything is on the side, the Pico de Gallo, and the guacamole...and they don't have water bottles but the tacos and the lemonade was perfect still...oh and the restrooms floors were wet idk if it was pee from the drunk clients.
Such a nice vibe! First time here, came because they were new to the area. Did not disappoint! Drinks were on point, tacos were so juicy! And we got fries just because… so crispy didn’t even have to ask. Owner was extremely attentive and friendly. You don’t always see owners get behind the bar, run food, and work the floor. But he did. It’s really refreshing to see. Will definitely be back for their bottomless margaritas during brunch along with their awesome playlist. Really locks you in.
Went here for the first time with some friends, the food was a 10/10 I had a chicken quesadilla and a lemon drop. The service was great, the gentleman was very attentive will definitely go back.
We had such a wonderful time at Cantina 138! The atmosphere was welcoming, and the DJ played the perfect Latino mix … it was fun!! The staff was absolutely lovely, kind and attentive with the bottomless mimosas!!. The drinks were great, everybody was friendly, and we left feeling happy and the food was delicious too! Can’t wait to come back soon. Thank you, Cantina 138, for such a beautiful experience!
I came with my family last week and I was impressed!! The place looks beautiful, bunch of tvs everywhere so perfect for the coming Euro & Copa América. The food was delicious and the service was incredible too. We had fajitas, guacamole, and wing!! Omg those wings were insane!!! Great margaritas as well. This is definitely the new hottest spot!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
First and foremost Isabel our server was exceptional. The food here is really good. I got the steak and eggs Medium and the steak was tender. Their margaritas, which Isabel made, not batched, were strong and delicious. It's worth stopping by. I'm so happy to see a new Latin brunch spot!
Where do I start? The food was on point. The tacos have a hearty feel to them. They dont fall apart and the flavor melts in your mouth. The appetizers are all good. They all pair well with the drink selections. Signature drinks are well curated and thoughtful. The ambiance is bring a friend, a date, some friends and come have a good time. Hospitality is top notch and professional always. I would definitely be back for another night on the town. Thank my cousin for suggesting this place. Cantina 138 needs to be put on the map! We came here with a promotion discount we purchased online for 60 minutes of brunch, one main dish, and bottomless Mimosas. The location is good. The manager named Carlos, is very attentive to the customer's. He goes around to talk to customers and make sure all is well. The food taste 😋 is on the spot. 👌 The drinks are just as good. We had the steak and eggs, chilaquiles with eggs and chicken. Both are highly recommended. For sure, we will be back, and I recommend you try this establishment out yourself.
Had a great night, atmosphere, music and appetizers were excellent. Nice staff, always checking up on what you need. Loved the margaritas! Will return definitely! 100% recommend if you’re looking for a nice resto bar to spend the night partying or chill!
This restaurant opened in the neighborhood a few weeks ago and finally had the opportunity to try it. The drinks were excellent and prices ranged from $16-18 per drink. They also offer happy hour but unfortunately we got there a little too late. The drinks are made with fresh ingredients and the flavors are well balanced. We did not get to try much of their food but everything that came out of the kitchen looked amazing! I tried the aguachile negro and the ingredients tasted very fresh and the tuna was high quality. I would definitely go back again to try more of their food - especially the moles which seem to be one of their most popular dishes. As for ambiance, pretty chill vibes with good music and a nice interior design. Last but not least, the staff was very nice. It's a small team but mighty! Wishing this restaurant much success!
Come here for drinks, not the food. Michelada was good, and they do $8 HH margaritas. Pretty sure the esquites was heated up canned corn - not an exaggeration. Also avoid the enchiladas. I got them with carnitas and it was overall fine but bland.
We had a terrible experience here tonight. With the restaurant blasting music in an almost empty restaurant, and the server barely hearing or noting my order. We waited 20 minutes in hopes our guacamole would come out, but instead my literal cold tacos come out, and a second entree but not the third one we ordered. Then the waiter tries to drop off fries we never ordered. I ask for silverware we never got, the entree and our guacamole and he’s basically taking our order over again. I tell him about our cold tacos. He comes back after 10 minutes w our remaining order. Only two sets of silverware when we were three people and once again, cold tacos. The food was terrible, the service was terrible, the ambiance was terrible. Even my Diet Coke was flat. And there was a drunk wandering in and out of the dining room stalking a table full of girls while they tried to ignore him. I regret having to pay the restaurant a dime for our experience.
