M&J Navy Yard Sub Shop Brooklyn Reviews
Even though not on the menu, they made an Italian Combo for a great price. I was going to request Italian dressing but they had already included it!
Go at least 2 times a week for either breakfast or lunch. Wide variety of mini buffet for platters and the sandwiches are very large.

Perfect lunch stop. Super fast, affordable, and lots of options so you can switch it up. Wraps subs and sandwiches, hot or cold. Drinks and chips and candy kind of items to grab. Very friendly folks as well.
In a world of overpriced low cal food, you can still get a solid bacon cheese omelette wrap for the price of a tall pumpkin spice latte. Hope it never changes.
great quick stop, great options, sandwich is the perfect size
Some of the best sandwiches I ever had in my life. This place is a GEM. I no longer live in Brooklyn near here and no longer work at the Navy Yards so this place is missed! Need to come through sometime
I’ve been coming here for 3 years. They’re better than a deli. The selection is good and the food is good. The food was so good that I forgot to take a photo before I ate it. The tuna melt is super delicious and the mozzarella sticks are really good. I always call ahead for pick up. It’s the same group of people that has worked there before the pandemic. 👍🏼
Great spot. Some good fresh cooked food to choose from, or order a burger/sandwich made just the way you like. I have done both! They are happy to make me a carnivore lunch with 2 hamburger patties, cheese, bacon, eggs, and onions (no buns!) Yum. Fast friendly service and good prices. Only to go tho, no place to sit.
This place reinvents itself regularly. Every worker demonstrates true friendliness. The restaurant has excellent vibes. Their kitchen serves fresh, flavorful meals with many options. I'm eager to go back for another meal.

Great tuna salad sandwich! Cheeseburger special is a go-to! However the prices change often, seemingly epending on the managers mood. If you use credit card, minimum purchase is 8 bucks BUT he may change the price of the items or charge you a dollar on top of minimum purchase ....so use cash
In and out in under 10 minutes, it's the place to go for a quick grab and go for bodega classics. Cold cuts, breaded chicken, and hamburgers are the norm, but an alternative exist in their hot food platter section, containing a variety of starches with different sets of proteins each day. Place is the spot to fill that baconeggandcheese itch, though one thing worth changing is being upfront with pricing. Any sandwich modification carries a different price, with the final cost being a mystery until you check your credit card bill.
I wish I could give them 3.5 stars, but it’s not an option here. Anyway, the sandwiches are pretty good and big. My only issue is that every time I get a sandwich there the price is different. One day I paid for my sandwich 7.5, and the following week 10. No quite sure how they determine the prices. Bottom line - good sandwiches, but unclear pricing.

It's very good. The signature sandwiches are very good but pricey. Food options in the neighborhood are limited. Breakfast rush is hectic. I'd give more stars if my breakfast wasn't botched
It’s a simple sandwich shop. They usually forget one or two items on my sandwich. If they just wrote it down it would solve the issue. For example, I just ordered Pastrami, Swiss and egg with onions and a little bit of mustard. I ended up with no onions or Swiss and the bread was doused in mustard. The employees are incredibly nice. I will continue to support them.

This place used to be pretty good. Not the case anymore though. Good luck trying to reach them on the phone. They are understaffed and take forever to complete your order. The quality of food for the time you wait is not worth it.

Food was fine but the lady said my order was $12 for a platter and a soda. I later see on my card that they charged $19.02 on my card. I don't see where an extra $7 would come from. Won't be visiting again. Edit: After charging my card, the lady never gave me a receipt and just said "You're okay to go".
Been working at the Navy Yard for almost 5 years, this was my go to spot until recently. The food is basic, meats aren’t fresh, and the dead eyed owner always makes you regret your overpriced purchase. The veteran employees make great food and are always kind, not their fault quality of food isn’t up to par, they aren’t the issue. People make this their “go to” because it’s the only deli right next to the navy yard, so not by choice. Don’t get the feeling the owner cares about anything, and with prices rising it’s not worth it sadly.
They don’t do a great coffee, but the sandwiches are good. My bf told that chocolate tastes bad.
