Poetica Coffee Brooklyn Reviews
I’ve been coming here since it first opened. The staff is so friendly, the beverages are carefully made to order, and the food is tasty too! I especially love their avocado toast and spinach croissants. I also want to thank the management for recently supporting my local preschool students with a donation of paper bags for Valentine’s Day. You guys are the best!
Nice coffee shop with cozy seating area in the back & cool interior design.
This is such a nifty coffee shop. The outside is so pretty and colorful that it just draws you to go inside. The coffee is really good and, in my opinion, reasonable priced. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick. I will definitely stop by again the next time I am in the area.
Sweet barista/cashier. I asked how many shots of espresso a latte comes with and after she said I think 3(?), she kindly asked me to try it and if it's not strong enough she can pour more in. It's too bad I'm always in a rush for work but whenever I'm not, I try to stop by to get a cup.
Love, love, love the Poetica latte with almond milk! So happy that they have vegan baked goods; chocolate croissant is my favorite. ❤️ Best of all, the staff is top notch. Can I give Service 100 stars?!!⭐️ ⭐️🌟💫💫💫💫
I love poetica!!!! great coffee and vibes! sometimes it's very busy in the back but I'm glad they let people work there. also good music is always playing. i come here at least once a week when im home from college. pierogies and macarons are good also. and chai latte!
Great cappuccinos & lattes. Delicious pastries & friendly staff always makes me feel welcome. Plenty of seating in the back....with some outside (front & back) seating too. One of my favorite local cafes.
I love this place! They’re pretty overpriced, like many other cafes in NYC. However, I’d rather spend the money here than at Starbucks. Their service is amazing, and the interior is gorgeous. There’s even a little hidden area in the back filled with windows and plants! I’d recommend their seasonal coffee drinks and matcha lattes. The pastries were yummy too!
Cozy, homey space. Matcha was very light color + a little grainy FYI. Lots of seating in the back + people working on laptops. Pubic WiFi + bathroom! Small amount of outdoor seating. Staff was super friendly + remade the drink for the customer in front of me with kindness + understanding when it wasn’t what they wanted. Not a ton of standing room in line FYI. The buns in the front pastry case looked amazing. Will def be back to try more!
Located right across from Prospect Park, this cozy café has become one of my favorite stops in Brooklyn. The vibe is relaxed, creative, and welcoming — perfect for a quiet morning coffee, catching up with a friend, or getting some work done. Their coffee is consistently excellent — smooth, rich, and thoughtfully crafted. Whether you’re into a classic drip, a strong espresso, or one of their seasonal specials, you’re in for a treat. I especially love their oat milk matcha latte — always perfectly balanced. Plus, the interior has a simple, warm charm with just enough seating to feel lively without being crowded.
I’ve been on the hunt for a great coffee shop in Brooklyn, and I’m so glad I finally found Compilation Coffee Roasters! Their caramel latte completely exceeded my expectations! it was delicious and made so quickly. The presentation was also on point, with an oat milk flower foam art that added a stylish touch. The combination of speed, quality, and attention to detail has definitely earned them a repeat customer. I’ll definitely be coming back more often!
Poetry of Coffee is exactly how I want to feel about my coffee! My mornings were not complete until I had The Poetica with oat milk, so delicious and pleasantly surprised. Very happy I found this place on our trip! Also as a bonus a very cute place and a nice seating area in the back.
I love everything about this cafe: the beautiful storefront, the plants inside the cafe, the art on the walls, the staff, the coffee, the food. It seems small when you walk in, but there’s actually a larger room in the back where you can sit for a bit while enjoying your coffee / sandwich. Great neighborhood cafe.
Such a lovely location perfect for chilling out, eating small bites & taking some IG worthy flicks!! I loved the indoor & outdoor art & decor. The back part of the establishment is perfect for reading, getting work done or just escaping the hustle and bustle of Brooklyn. That part/space is for the vaccinated only.
I love this coffee shop but the patrons are the absolute worst. People camp all day working so if you want to come and enjoy a coffee and chat or a work meeting you will literally get yelled at by other people who use the space as their personal office for talking. I really wish the establishment would play music or something back there to encourage people to use the space as what a coffee shop should be, a place to comnect with others, not a place for people to cheap to rent an office space. If you want to work in a publis space you need to know there will be noise. Sincerely, a writer and designing that frequently works in public spaces and would never ever tell someone else to be quiet in a dining area.
