Excellent Mediterranean 🌻food with generous portions and great flavor. The chicken shawarma was tender and perfectly seasoned, and the falafel bowl was fresh and satisfying. 😋The zaatar and sumac fries are a standout — crisp, tangy, and unique. Definitely worth a visit!🤩

I’ve had a great experience in this place. We’ve placed a catering order for our guests around 20 ppl. and it was freshly made. Everybody liked the food. Exceptional service and quality. Highly recommended!

Pulled up to Holy Pita not expecting much, but man they delivered. The chicken shawarma was straight-up juicy and full of flavor, the pita was soft and warm like it just came out the oven, and don’t even get me started on the sauces next level. Portions? Mad generous. Prices? Super chill for the quality you’re getting. But what really made it hit different was the vibe — clean spot, chill setup, and the staff were super friendly, like they actually care you’re there. No fake smiles, just good energy and even better food. If you’re in the area and craving something real and tasty, this is 100% the move. I’m already planning my next visit. Holy Pita got a new fan for sure!

Absolutely delicious!! My husband and I stumbled across this place and grabbed some falafel sandwiches to eat at the park. We were so impressed! Generous portions, fresh ingredients, excellent flavor balance- I especially loved the picked veggies. Looking forward to trying other offerings from Holy Pita : )

My friend and I came in with a Groupon deal, but this business recently changed owners and doesn’t use Groupon anymore - Maz (the new owner) still took care of us even though he gets no profit and the food was truly delicious!! Good size portions that would’ve been worth the price anyways - highly recommend if you find yourself in the Park Slope area!

This place is a total gem! The food is fresh, flavorful, and honestly some of the best Mediterranean I’ve had. I tried the falafel and shawarma - both were spot-on, with generous portions and perfect seasoning. the staff are super friendly and helpful. If you’re near the park and craving something tasty, Holy Pita’s a must-try!

Best darn falafel sandwich I’ve had in a very long time while. I needed a simple, nourishing lunch before returning to work. Happened upon this place. An absolute, unexpected gem. The pita was soft and ever so slightly toasted. It was filled, top to bottom with perfectly fried falafel. I could tell from warm, smooth taste of the falafel that the batch was freshly made. Seasoned with harissa or sumac (one of those) that sent it over the top into the realm of authenticity. The cabbage salad, pickles and tomatoes added a refreshing crunch. And priced very well: $12ish. Not glitzy or glamorous, humble, so leave your pretensions at the door. I look forward to stopping by next time I’m in Windsor Terrace.

A little takeout spot in Windsor Terrace with a friendly and gracious owner and delicious food. I love the hummus plate with roasted eggplant and hard boiled egg. The hummus is so silky, the eggplant tender, the tahini especially good.

Second time ordering delivery - can't say enough good things! My family loves the chicken shawarma and all the toppings, but my favorite is the Iraqi malawach, with fried eggplant and boiled egg. So delicious, and the delivery was super speedy.

I've been twice for takeout and it's scrumptious. Flavorful and comforting. Shawarma pita sandwich is juicy, fluffy, crunchy, delicious. Sabich one is really delicious as well. My husband has had their shawarma on salad and in the platter and he enjoyed. Their rice pudding is excellent. They are friendly and have a nice picnic table out front and bar stools inside.

Ordered the meat cigars, falafel and schnitzel main event platters, and baklava. Everything was very good. First time having hummus and I like it! The place is tiny (best for take-out) but clean. I'll go again.

Had their Felafel sandwich on pita today. My wife and I thought it was delicious and the pita was nicely baked and held up well to the very well-stuffed ingredients that filled it. The tahini wasn’t as flavorful as we thought it could be, but overall we were very satisfied and would recommend it!

I was excited to see HaShahar chocolate spread as an option for malawach however after I ordered it I literally saw them take out a jar of Nutella and put it on the malawach which was disappointing. Nutella tastes totally different from HaShahar HaOle. I get that on the menu (see screenshot attached) it has "HaShahar" in quotes which intimates that it may not be the real deal, but I still feel that is dishonest given the taste difference. They should just write Nutella if they do not want to go out and buy actual HaShahar. By the way, HaShahar HaOle is available at Bingo Wholesale in Borough Park.

I stopped there with a friend on a rainy day. The place is tiny, with two bars and only two stools at each. I ordered a falafel pita and a sabich pita! neither was very good, and both were sparsely filled. The ingredients didn’t taste fresh, and everything was a bit dry.

Food was ok. Service was bad - they have a bench outside the store that they painted and I saw a few people sit on it and ruin their clothes. The store was dismissive and didn’t do much/anything to make people aware. They also forgot an item in my order and I had to remind them. They hadn’t made it. Bedawi Cafe across the street is MUCH better. Food and impeccable service.
